4kg for a pistol is as heavy as a normal rifle. That's pretty much too heavy to carry unless you're Mandalore or have power armor. A pistol is considered heavy if its over 1 1/2 kg. Keep in mind 4kg is like 9 or 10 pounds. Try lifting that like its a pistol and carrying it around for any amount of time. Unless you're the hulk, its kinda impractical.
