Its disc shaped head and collapsible body make them much more seamless with a craft, making it harder to target by enemy crafts. All SCA can interface with any 26-Series spacecraft. However, they are also limited to these craft, built specifically to fit into them and no other types of craft. This was done to promote further cohesion between a ship and its droid.
