Career change for Ean the bounty hunter

Character Name: Ean Stenner

Character Faction: Fringe

Number Of People Wanted: any

Reason For Roleplay: Now that he's giving up the life of a bounty hunter after doing some light soul searching, Ean needs something else to do to keep busy and feel useful. (He doesn't need the money).

Other: Ean has experience as a bounty hunter (obviously), a hitman before that, and as a bodyguard before that. He's proficient in firearms and martial arts. And he's a pretty fair cook, though this wouldn't be an obvious skill he'd advertise openly.

He has his own ship and pilot (hopefully). Also, his newly discovered daughter would be tagging along more than likely.


So if you have a character or plot or anything that could use any or all of his skills/experience, post away! I'd be up for a one-time deal for a thread or two as a contractor... or even something more permanent with an employer or a group or crew or something.

Well I don't mind doing something with my assassin. Maybe your giving up bounty hunting people think your an easy target and want to pay someone to try and make sure you don't come back to it... Or maybe you run into some trouble and my guy intervenes.

I know we're prepping to do the Mando mission, but since Ean's a bounty hunter and Jorra (my mandalorian) used to be, maybe she'd try to draw him over to their way of thinking.

As for the assassin idea... I think that could work. I mean, even if he wasn't quitting, I'm sure there might be a few crazy enterprising beings who'd want revenge on him. The whole "you put my husband/wife/brother/sister/cousin/etc. in jail, and now I hate you" idea.

Not sure how Ean would fair in a fight against a Force-user...

But anyway, I am intrigued.

As for the Mandalorian thing, I'm not sure that they really go around trying to recruit beings to join their cause, at least not fully into a clan or anything. But maybe as an ally type of thing, I could see that playing out. I doubt Ean would do something like that, since he'd probably still side with the Republic, among other things, but it could still be an interesting thread.

Would you be thinking of her going looking for him specifically, or just a chance meeting? I mean, Ean would be fairly well-known, but since his last mission went south (and was all over the Holonews), he's been trying to keep an even lower profile. And I don't know that the general public would know that he's giving up the life per se.

Or on a very slim crazy side note... a possibility of a love interest for Ean. Just throwing that out there. ;p

While recruiting isn't exactly orthodox, ingenuity and experimentation is a major factor of Jorra's clan. Plus, she's clanmaster, so she's allowed to if she feels like it.

Didn't really have a scenario in mind, but if there are people so interested in taking down Ean that they either hire an assassin, or hire a merc of sufficient ability that Ean might need said assassin's help, chances are that an ex-BH like Jorra could track him down too.

And while that's certainly an interesting idea, we'd have to chat a bit more on it before making any decisions.

Maybe I am tracking Ean for a job. You would like to recruit Ean but know about the whole "Loyalty to the republic thing" but Jorra gets wind of me tracking her and decided to stop me right before i attack Ean? Something to convince Ean that maybe he needs you. Then we all come to some arrangement of sorts?

You're saying that someone hires Kaiba to take down Ean... and Jorra is also tracking Ean but for a different reason--recruiting--and she steps in to 'rescue'/assist him?

Oh yes, she's still around Kuat. That's her base of operations for now until the time I ever get aun and her exonerated.

I'm not around a WHOLE lot, but I'm more used to my schedule and work load now, so I'm getting a bit of muse back. So hire your pilot and get Ean going! =shakes finger= No more of this off/on stuff with Ean, joo! We need to get these two to a point where Sam doesn't want to kill him and fear him in turns. xD

Chances are Ean will find her either around the KDY or around some dive in Kuat City....more likely the latter than the former, however.

Regarding the thread/story of the ambush in the hangar --

Haven't heard from Vroxen in a while. He hadn't signed in in almost a month, either.

And since Julian is still interested in this with Jorra, I believe, we will need another mercenary-type to take Kaiba's (Vroxen's) place in this.

Anyone up for this?




Also, I'll take any other ideas for Ean as well.
