A stone table was covered in various datapads. Reports from across the galaxy. Good news, bad news, intriguing news. Blue eyes scanned across the sea of data, pondering, planning. One set of arms rested on said table. The other had a datapad in one hand, and a long, thin cigarillo in the other. Light wisps of smoke wafted in the twilight of Shogun. Cyar'ika sighed, a column of smoke exhaled with it as she turned her gaze to the right.
One of Shogun's few small seas took up the view from the patio, the fortress cut into a crystal the only building around. A small refuge for the newly crowned Mandalore, Cyar had found the sea's lapping waves soothing. Mere weeks into her time as her people's leader, and yet so much had been done. Promotions, movements, and research. There was much, much more that had to be done, but one thing Mandalore the Liberator had been sure to teach her was to take things one step at a time. Cyar looked down at the datapad in one of her arms, the day's schedule on the screen.
Early Morn: Exercise and Training (6-9)
Late Morn: Meeting with *OPERATIVE NAME DELETED* (9-10)
Lunch: Holo-call with Clans Ordo, Bralor, Vevut (11-2)
Early Afternoon: Holo-call with Clan Fett (3-5)
Late Afternoon: Holo-message to Republic Senatorial Committee (6-9)
Evening: Meeting with Fleet Commander Shannon Bralor (10-11)
Cyar looked at the time on the datapad. It was ten-thirty already. She was late. The woman turned and crossed her top arms, which was easier now that the top half of her armor had been removed. It was piled onto the table as well, chest-plate, gauntlets and helm. Her under-armor still kept her cybernetic hand well hidden, that hand now grabbed the cigarillo and brought it up to her lips for a puff. If Bralor didn't show soon, she was going to get smacked upside the head by one of Mandalore's batons.

To say the least Shannon enjoyed and felt more at ease since her returning to Mandalorian space amongst her Mandalorian brothers and sisters, but then again that is what home tends to feel like. But being surface-side of Shogun was peculiar to her in a way, because it was truly her first time being there, even after her strategizing the space campaign against the Republic fleet orbiting the planet leading to the Republic fleet's destruction, Shannon never did set foot on Shogun, remaining on her predecessor's flagship as she served as its the flagship's XO at the time. Now she not simply a commander of a ship, she commands the fleet. For as ambitious of a strategist as she is, quite honestly it was a juxtaposition she finds herself getting used to quickly. And like any dejarik player, her plans number in the many that she was itching to employ against the Mandalorians' current foes.
Though, usually punctual--there has been the off-time that a certain reputation of Shannon's has gotten the better of her, and this being one of those occasions. In her Mandalorian armor, the extended grey kama flowing behind her as she walked with her helm cradled under left arm. She stood before the new Mandalore with a blatant stalwart confidence, seemingly unshakable in its way--as if she earned her place where she stood and knew it, like an undeniable empirical fact--that at least in her own mind, was beyond reproach. It was that severe self-assurance that was definitely a staple to her personality.
But while she certainly felt she earned and deserved her place, she recognized being tardy leaves a poor impression, and one that strives to keep off her record and reputation--after all, she has a great measure of pride in herself and her professional reputation, and it is something she wishes to maintain. Thus, when she stood before the new Mandalore, she uttered with a strong tone holding a clear sincerity to it, "I apologize for the tardiness. It won't happen again.", she made no excuses, for while she could not claim to know the new Mandalore beyond being a past acquaintance, just as Shannon felt she earned her current place, she was willing to recognize and afford the new Mandalore before her the regard that Mandalore too feels as though she had earned her position as Mandalore and should be given due respect as such.
Pale grey eyes slyly looked the woman before up and down before locking looking straight into Mandalore's own. With a distinct tone of directness that always seems to be carried in her voice, Shannon inquired, "You wanted me?"

"Su cuy'gar"
Mandalore said as Shannon turned into her chamber. Her tone was welcoming, if a bit curt. Another plume of smoke came with those words, followed by Cyar stubbing the cigarillo out on the table next to her. Her eyes glanced down at the trailing smoke for a moment before they turned back to Shannon.
"I apologize for the tardiness. It won't happen again."
"Just don't make a habit of it." She replied with a wave of one of her hands, though the top pair stayed crossed under her chest. Cyar noted the way the other occupant looked her over, eyes narrowing slightly but otherwise trying not to show any reactions. Even before compiling information on the Fleet Commander, Cyar had heard the rumors about Shannon's appetites. She had a feeling she knew what that look meant. Her now free other hand moved to one of the datapads and took it up. A dossier of Shannon popped up, the photo giving her the same intense look she was receiving directly from the woman. She met Shannon's gaze with her own.
"You wanted me?"
Cyar quirked an eyebrow slightly, but gave no other reaction. She moved off from leaning against the table, datapad still at hand and arms remaining crossed. Slow steps brought her closer to her fellow Mandalorian, once more her gaze moving to the datapad. Cyar'ika paused in front of Shannon, and peered up at the slightly taller woman.
"I realize my asking you here meant you had to travel far. Thank you for coming. The trip went well?"

Mandalore's telling her not to make a habit of her tardiness, Shannon simply gave a nod of compliance to. After all, that will not be hard for Shannon, it is unique when she is late. This time around she merely got a little too... preoccupied... with what she was doing before having to meet the woman before her. There are rumors about Shannon's certain exploits, rivaled only by a cousin of hers. Albeit, they are rumors that Shannon herself does nothing to combat, despite her pride in having and her constantly striving to maintain a professional reputation. She tends to let those rumors slide, because while some maybe put-off by them, there are others who are intrigued as to how another woman could even gain such rumors about them, or just simple curiosity if there is any truth to them. For Shannon it is merely all part of the game.
A small smile formed on Shannon's pulchritudinous visage when Mandalore started with small talk first after she had moved closer to Shannon, "Yes", she answered, "a long trip from Mandalore, but it was nothing. Albeit, in a way, I'm grateful for it. It's the first time I've ever set foot on Shogun, I didn't have the opportunity when we reclaimed it. I was still aboard the Tenacity, helping my predecessor reorganize the fleet after defeating the Republic blockade. Soon after--we pressed on. Before then... there was never really much opportunity to travel to other Mandalorian homeworlds... given the state of things in those days with Republic oppression."
Shannon then moved closer to Mandalore in turn--the small smile on her face having not faded in the least as it was directed at the petite woman before her, "Yourself, Mandalore?", she inquired with a certain kindliness in her tone--a warmth that normally is not seen or heard from her, "Is everything serving you well? What is it you wish of me?"

Cyar nodded as she listened to Shannon. She turned her head to the left to look out at the patio outside her quarters. The sea lazily lapped at the glittering sanded shore, the horizon littered with the giant flat crystals that dominated Shogun's landscape. An almost wistful look to her eye, Cyar let a small smile crease her lips.
"Shogun is a beautiful planet. Every Mandalorian should see it at least once." She glanced back over at Shannon.
"I only met Tal'Akaan once, when I was a little girl. That man scared me something terrible then. Let's hope you stack up to his performance, Shannon. I am glad your trip went smoothly. Space hasn't been kind to our people lately."
Cyar's last words would turn bitter, the small smile lost. Mandalore the Liberator had been killed in space. Ambushed by a superior force where he couldn't fight back. Typical Republic cowardice. Her thoughts were cut off as Shannon stepped closer to her, a sideways glance shot her way.
"Yourself, Mandalore? Is everything serving you well? What is it you wish of me?"
Mandalore. Cyar still wasn't all the way used to people calling her that. It made her think of Malak, the Mandalore before her. The man like an uncle, a man who should have died with his sword at hand. Not having choked to death on the void of space. Shannon was very close, even through the under-weave of her armor Cyar could feel the other woman's body heat. It made her uncomfortable, the woman made a habit of never being so close to another person. Shannon was either up to something, or far braver than Cyar'ika thought to move so close to her Mandalore. With a small clearing of her throat Mandalore looked away from Shannon and stepped forward to the open wall, again staring at the sea before her.
"You're very casual, Bralor." Cyar'ika blinked a couple times as she searched for the right words to say next. She truly wasn't able to answer that question directly. On one hand, she had just taken the reigns over her entire people, and all the pride and anxiety that came with that. On the other she just lost one of her dearest friends. On the third, she had recently received several promising reports for her people. She glanced back at Shannon with a set jaw and glassy eyes.
"I... I wanted to know you better. You demanded the position of Fleet Commander. Something I personally approved of. You were a dossier with an impressive record to me until today. But my father had always said that you can't know someone until you've looked under the armor, at the person within it. In your case, under your dossier."
Mandalore said, purposefully ignoring the query into her well being. No one had asked her that since Ordo, not so sincere sounding at least. Cyar'ika worried that she might spill it all had she even begun to touch upon her state.

The sight of Mandalore looking off into the scenic view of the balcony of her quarters made Shannon cant her head a little. It was a reaction of being pleasantly surprised by the woman's sentimentality--a discovered endearing quality to her. She was amused by it, it was something different from the usual machismo crap she had seen from Mandalores in the past. For the simple fact it was a reflection of a deeper appreciation for what they were fighting for.
But the commentary about her being casual made Shannon smile a dash more. She simply reached passed Mandalore with her left arm setting her helm she had been carrying under her left arm until then, setting it on an end table that was just behind the woman; which the act itself caused Shannon into lean in incredibly close to Mandalore, even scarcely grazing against her before returning to simply standing directly before the new Mandalore as she had been. The natural intense gaze to Shannon's grey eyes kept eye contact with Mandalore's while maintaining the small smile expressed upon her comely visage, "Did I misinterpret? Your request to meet me at a late hour, I assumed to be a casual affair.", though playing it a bit coy with implied innuendo in that statement, she then went onto clarify, "I understand that you are my superior, so I wore my armor as a formal showing of respect of your position. But I simply assumed that a discussion at this late hour with nothing urgent on the agenda would simply be an amicable meeting with less formality. Did I misunderstand, Mandalore?"
But it was the earlier comment--while innocent in its context and intent--about seeing what was underneath her armor merely made Shannon's subtle smile grow a tiny bit more still, "Though, I understand wishing to get to know those leading your army. I have nothing to hide from you. Whatever it is you are looking to view...", with a soft smile and an almost disarming soothing tone of submissive compliance Shannon simply finished by saying, "As you wish.", whatever the game is Shannon is looking to play with Mandalore in this meeting, it would be a lie to say Shannon was not enjoying it thoroughly.

"Did I misinterpret? Your request to meet me at a late hour, I assumed to be a casual affair."
Despite herself, Cyar smiled lightly with a single soft laugh. She turned around to face Shannon once more, one pair of arms still crossed, the second now rested at her hips.
"I understand that you are my superior, so I wore my armor as a formal showing of respect of your position. But I simply assumed that a discussion at this late hour with nothing urgent on the agenda would simply be an amicable meeting with less formality. Did I misunderstand, Mandalore?"
"This late hour..." Cyar glanced at the time keeper at her desk. She laughed again. "I guess it is late, I hadn't even noticed. Seems being Mandalore comes with long hours."
"Though, I understand wishing to get to know those leading your army. I have nothing to hide from you. Whatever it is you are looking to view...As you wish."
Mandalore's smile would turn almost competitive as she held up the datapad. Again she stepped a bit closer towards Shannon.
"There is nothing you can hide from me. Leif Bralor's daughter, killed your first man at thirteen, associate of Vokure, I hear Captain Seyra was something else. I'm... sorry about what happened the day we lost her. And your family." Cyar walked past Shannon a single hand moving from her hip to rest gently on Shannon's arm. The moment was brief, and Cyar'ika moved back to her stone table. "I've made my point, I won't go on. Information is every bit a weapon as a blade, Fleet Commander."
Cyar'ika turned around, and rested her hip against the table once more. She looked at Shannon, eyes taking in the armored woman before her. It was then that she became slightly self conscious of the fact that she wore nothing outside a clinging under-weave. She coughed lightly and gestured to a sitting area.
"You did not misinterpret. You could say I'm still getting used to the position. Every other meeting I've been fully clad in my armor. I guess this is your chance to get to know me in a way. While you have a chance to ask: Is there anything you want from your Mandalore?"

Shannon chuckled a little in response to Mandalore declaring there was nothing she could hide from her. The newly made Fleet Commander somewhat took it as a challenge. Though her smile faded a little into being a faint one as Mandalore recited a bit of her past. It was less out of feeling defensive about it and more of being surprised that Mandalore actually knew it as well as she did. But it was Mandalore's apology that elicited a head cant from Shannon, a little bewildered by it. But the woman's remarking that information can be used as a weapon--Shannon agreed but her past could never truly be used against her, they were chapters within a book that have long been closed.
Shannon gave a light shrug with her faint smile, "Don't worry about it, Mandalore. The past has long been left there. My family died as warriors--as Mandalorians. My father made me the warrior I am. Whereas Seyra", she said the name without title--without formality--only affection but she paused for a trice after its utterance, "...it's hard to find the proper words for the one who made a woman out of you.", Shannon chose to leave it at that.
The Fleet Commander moved over to the sitting area with Mandalore, but she did not sit, she remained standing--at least for the moment. As the conversation Shannon was quick to answer the question of what she wanted to inquire about Mandalore herself--to get to know her, "I want to see the woman under the armor.", Shannon casually retorted parodying Mandalore's earlier statement, albeit after playfully letting the innuendo of the answer hang for a second or two, Shannon went on to say, "Tell me what it is you're finding the most difficult, and what I can do to unburden it."

Cyar moved passed the sitting area with a steady stroll. Her eyes glanced back at Shannon as she paused there, but turned to the short cooler behind the sitting area. She knelt down and opened the door with one hand. Two hands gathered a couple bottles, and a third held the bottles in the crook of her arm. When she returned she sat down several bottles on the stone table of the sitting area. Waters, a few fizzy drinks, and a bottle of Concordian moonshine. For a moment she seemed to contemplate, one hand tapped at her bottom lip as two more sat at her hips. The third hovered indecisively over a couple bottles before it plucked up a water. Her hand moved from her lip down to the cap, and twisted it off before she took a gulp.
"I want to see the woman under the armor."
The newly declared Mandalore sputtered a bit in surprise and brought the back of her hand up to wipe the water from her face. She coughed a couple times before turning an almost embarrassed look towards Shannon. Cyar blinked twice and smiled sheepishly. Shannon had just been repeating what she had said earlier. That was all. Cyar'ika was pretty certain she had just lied to herself. Reputation and attitude alike were showing who Shannon was.
"Tell me what it is you're finding the most difficult, and what I can do to unburden it."
Cyar'ika laughed and pinched the bridge of her nose with one hand. She shook her head, making a few locks of hair fall to reveal more of her pointed ears. Though Cyar had no doubts about the Fleet Commanders abilities, she highly doubted the woman would be able to do too much for the things that botherd her the most. Still pinching the bridge of her nose, Cyar squinted her eyes and held another hand out palm upwards.
"Unless you're able to stop clan leaders from offering me their sons for marriage in return for their loyalty, not too much at this time. I've got hundreds of clans to unite, and only promises at this time for offerings."

This was becoming a little bit too much for Shannon, the new Mandalore while with a very respectable history and reputation as a warrior--she would not be Mandalore otherwise--it appears privately she has some quite endearing qualities, even a slightly girlish in their way. The elicited embarrassed reactions she managed to get out of Mandalore was positively priceless to her. But she had not rebuked her innuendo and little advances... not yet anyway. And Shannon had always been one to push the boundaries of her limitations, she was all too curious to see just how far Mandalore would allow her to take things.
It was getting Mandalore nearly choking on her drink with a sheepish smile that Shannon truly inwardly savored, but she continued to maintain her composure before Mandalore. After all, whether or not Mandalore realized that Shannon was purposefully seeking to get such reactions of out of her was immaterial, Shannon simply had to maintain a front as though she were not, for that is how the game is played. Just because the one you are playing the game with may know what you are up to, you never tell them, because that ends the game too quickly and thus the fun with it.
Nonchalantly, Shannon made her way over to the cooler and prepared Mandalore another drink as she listened to her commentary of what bothered her. Shannon's faint smile flashed for a second as an amused smirk as a thought came to mind. The drink was prepared quickly, like someone who had clearly spent a lot of times not just front of a bar counter but behind one as well, and handed it off to Mandalore as she once again uttered with a soft tone of compliant submission, "As you wish.", for she did have a method in mind to help Mandalore with her burden.
Shannon then took up her own drink with a pensive gaze as she took a sip from it, but then her intense determined pale grey eyed gaze turned to look straight into Mandalore's, while remarking with an unyielding surety, "Mandalorians these days have grown soft forgetting the old ways", her faint smile held a certain mischievousness to it as she continued, "Bring it back to the old traditions. Name me as a champion of yours, there would be nothing surprising to it given I am the Fleet Commander, also I am a leader of Clan Bralor--perhaps the leader of the clan at this point given my current station...In any case. Tell them, if their sons can defeat me in combat, then you will entertain negotiating a possible arrangement with them. But failure to attain victory will only mark disgrace upon their clan for thinking their family's worth for being more than what it is."
Shannon smirked at her idea, because she could already deduce how the results of such a thing would play out, "They're soft... finding themselves challenge by the ancient ways will give them pause, and therefore force them to ruminate on wasting your time with such declarations.", moving in quite close to Mandalore, Shannon gently whispered to her, "Would you like me to be a personal champion?"

Cyar still had her eyes closed and her nose pinched as she heard Shannon off getting into something. Preoccupied by annoyance, she was surprised when her hand that was held out suddenly accepted the weight of a glass into it. She opened her eyes to look at the drink at hand. A couple blinks lead to her bringing it to her nose for a sniff, the strong alcohol instantly making the woman shake her head and pull it away. Just the smell made her feel slightly light headed. Cyar'ika would never admit that she was a lightweight when it came to booze. Her bright blue eyes watched as Shannon took a drink, refusing to break eyes contact as her guest then spoke. Mandalore grinned before she mirrored Shannon, a tiny sip taken.
"Mandalorians these days have grown soft forgetting the old ways"
"I have chosen the title 'Reclaimer' for a reason. There are many promising members of our people still. Most I intend to rally under me. Many have already. Yourself included Fleet Commander."
She nearly purred the last two words, not realizing her own tone. Cyar however was surprised by Shannon's proposition. The woman listened to the other's words. An open challenge, Cyar'ika liked the sound of that. It was the Mandalorian way to conquer what you wanted after all. Her breath caught in her throat as Shannon moved closer, holding her ground despite trying to not be conscious of their proximity.
"Would you like me to be a personal champion?"
Mandalore would take a moment, not breaking eye contact. She could do nothing to stop the redness that touched her cheeks however. Silently cursing herself mentally, Cyar leaned sideways to place the glass down. Fearful for what more alcohol might do to her. Straightening her posture, Cyar placed defiant hands on her hips as the other pair crossed again.
"If that's the case. They will fight me. I appreciate the offer, Fleet Commander, but I haven't seen you in action enough to see if you're worthy of representing your Mandalore."
Her tone matched the defiance of her posture, head held high to look up at Shannon.

Something poker, dejarik, courtship, and warfare all have in common with one another. Tells. Not so much having to read them, but getting your opposite to expose them, that is where the key to victory lay. In both initiating affairs and warfare Shannon knew well on how to get her opposite to expose their tells to her. As an old song goes, love is a battlefield, and learning the field is something Shannon finds a certain strategic joy in doing.
She started with psychological warfare with various innuendo flanks to soften up the lovely woman with her. Gave feints of submitting with niceties only to continue with the barrage of her flanks. Then struck with minor chemical warfare assault with offering an alcoholic beverage, followed through with another feint of submitting to her opposite. The ploy worked, the comely woman blushed--a sign of wanting to accept Shannon's terms, that tell was the most significant compared to the others. But it seemed the beauty before her caught on to the sly attempt of an annex while influenced by the substance via chemical warfare and opted to put a defiant defense in response. But it was too late, the chemically induced tell was all that Shannon needed in order know what modus operandi to take in order get past such a front...
Shannon's brow furrowed a little in response to Mandalore's defiance, but it quickly faded into an expression of amusement with faint smile of hers. Her motions were slow and gentle as she lay her hands on Mandalore's hips, letting the woman stop at any moment, but perhaps it was the exceedingly bold egotism of Shannon's--for she was not concerned in the least as she continued to lightly coil hers around Mandalore's torso simultaneously drawing in their torsos until they were pressed together. It was a soft kiss that Shannon laid upon Mandalore's lips. As Shannon continued to engage, she waited for when Mandalore would tell her to stop, and she would--but that word or gesture had not come yet, which lead Shannon to only want to engage further...
After all, this battlefield is simply too much fun not engage.

As Shannon stepped closer, Cyar'ika's hands lowered in uncertainty. Would she take that challenge and try to upend her? To Mandalore's surprise gentle hands were placed at her hips, and felt Shannon's thumbs hook over the lip of where her armor was still clad. She blinked in surprise. Sure Shannon Bralor's reputation was a well known one, but for a woman to be so certain, so assertive. It was daunting... and impressive.
"What're you doing..."
Cyar whispered, her voice caught in her throat and less confident sounding than she wished. Her next breath shuddered lightly as Shannon pulled her closer. Not nearly as close as they could be, what with their armor still being mostly on. Her upper set of hands moved to rest at Shannon's abdomen while her lower grasped the other woman's arms.
"I-"
Words cut off by Shannon's kiss, Cyar's eyes remained open in shock. Her pulse quickened and though part of her wanted to break the kiss and pull away, more of her didn't. Being Mandalore wasn't easy, and already had proven to be a very solitary position. Company was rare, and desiring company even rarer. And Shannon was as stunning as she was headstrong... Her eyes slid closed, and Cyar'ika felt herself rest more of her weight against Shannon. It felt good to just let go for a moment, to let herself be a person and not Mandalore. Her hands moved over the abdomen of Shannon's armor to her sides, while the others remained on her arms. Cyar sighed gently into the kiss, timid but accepting. A very rare thing for her to be indeed. The woman wasn't sure if she hated it, or enjoyed it, or both. If there was one thing for certain, Cyar'ika normally didn't let someone get so close so easy. Shannon would have to work a bit more.
Without pause, Mandalore went to work. She slid down, barely breaking the kiss as her hands worked. A quick succession of clicks were followed by the sound of a dagger being drawn. Sliding around Shannon fluidly, the other woman's breastplate would clatter onto the ground and her own dagger would be drawn by Cyar'ika. Two hands pulled Shannon's back behind her back, while the third held the woman's dagger against her neck. Mandalore's final hand touched Shannon's cheek lightly to turn her head slightly, allowing the woman to whisper into her ear.
"You have to earn that right... Fleet Commander..."
Again Shannon's title was cooed before Cyar lowered the knife from her neck. She did not let up on her grapple however.

Ah... So she resorted threatening with a WMD, and locking down the opposition's movements... I like the dramatics. It has weight.
The blade at throat--perhaps out of a dormant sense of masochism that has never gone explored--Shannon found herself only wanting to engage Mandalore all the more. Then again, there is the old saying that people want what they are denied. But even restrained with a knife at her neck or even when it was put away, Shannon never broke her eye contact with the woman. It was all too exciting, and whether it be an admirable attribute or a potentially crippling hubris, Shannon can never truly bring herself to back down from a challenge on the battlefield.
But restrained as she currently is, there was little she really do in response physically, but she could continue to incite the woman, "You let me advance and reciprocated my kiss--you gave me that right already", Shannon haughtily taunted despite the position she was in, "You may have put the blade down, but you still have my neck exposed... What do you wish to do?", she no longer had a faint smile, it was a grin. The expression on that comely visage of hers painted the blatant picture that she was loving this thoroughly.
The size of Shannon's self-confidence and ego yielded a daunting enormity as she went on to further say, "Any time I've had a woman in my arms... in my mercy... of her own choice giving into my will. I always liked to savor the moment a bit... drinking in her scent, feel the pace of her heart from our bodies being pressed against the other... You smell quite delectable... especially as you timidly trembled in my grasp--I felt your heart quicken even through my armor. Were you really that anxious for my touch?"
It was a very, very dangerous game Shannon was playing, but her megalomania and stalwart self-confidence combined with the enthralling engagement with the woman whose company she finds herself in, only made her want to play the field all the more. So far, it has been one entertaining battlefield to be apart of and engage for her.

Cyar'ika was surprised that Shannon didn't try to break the grapple. It was likely she simply couldn't, the Codru-Ji did have quite the advantage over her with a second set of arms. Cyar was careful to keep the grip with her cybernetic light, to keep it as close to that of a normal hand as possible.
"You let me advance and reciprocated my kiss--you gave me that right already"
"I-"
"You may have put the blade down, but you still have my neck exposed... What do you wish to do?"
Cyar could see Shannon's grin, even from the angle she was at. She was toying with the Mandalore. The woman blushed again, turning her face away being unable to look Shannon directly. With bated breath though, the hand that rested on Shannon's cheek moved down to feel the soft contour of her neck. Cyar'ika wanted to feel her skin better than through the gloved under-weave, but to remove that would mean to remove the entire suit. She wasn't at that point. Yet.
"Any time I've had a woman in my arms... in my mercy... of her own choice giving into my will. I always liked to savor the moment a bit... drinking in her scent, feel the pace of her heart from our bodies being pressed against the other... You smell quite delectable... especially as you timidly trembled in my grasp--I felt your heart quicken even through my armor. Were you really that anxious for my touch?"
Mandalore felt her face redden even more, and her grip tightened onto Shannon's arms. She searched for some response, and cursed the heat that was building up within her body. Shannon was winning the game, even if Cyar'ika had her grappled and helpless, she felt she was even more so at Bralor's whims. She had to try to keep up. The hand that rested on Shannon's neck trailed down to the other woman's now armor-less back.
"I hate to think how much more you can feel now with your chest plate off... Bralor, I..."
Cyar'ika exhaled slowly and let up her grapple. Shannon's stolen dagger was gently set on the table next to her and Mandalore stepped away from the other. One hand was brought up to her mouth to chew at the tip of her thumb. She breathed to try and calm her body, and her mind. Two hands worried over each other's fingers and the free hand clenched and opened. Cyar didn't glance back as she confessed.
"It... has been a while. Since anyone... I..."

Upon Mandalore's retraining Shannon loosing, she eased out of Mandalore's grasp. While it would be inaccurate to say that Shannon had been with a woman like Mandalore, it would not be inaccurate to say that she knew well woman of a similar disposition. So consumed with duty and their work that personal relationships or even meaningless carnal pursuits either become sparse or fall to the way side completely. It was always a tactful affair in attempting to coax such women's needs out of them that have long been buried by their career. Doing so required a balance between pulling their wants and needs out of them and shedding light on it to them, while the physical contact itself being gentle and calming to make them feel comforted. Even just a simple light embrace with a soft caress can go a long way.
Shannon suspected from the moment they met it likely had been awhile for Mandalore since she had been in the arms of another, and her unfinished confession of such was only a confirmation of Shannon's suspicion. With a small peck on Mandalore's lips, Shannon then whispered into Mandalore's ear as she brushed several strands of Mandalore's hair behind her ear, "I understand...", her breath from the quiet utterance those two words lightly tumbled across tumbled across her ear. With a soft touch she tilted Mandalore's head ever so slightly to exposed a bit of her neck to her. Shannon's lips gently pressed against the skin at the top of Mandalore's neck in a kiss. The hand that brushed Mandalore's hair behind her ear, eased the collar of her armor weave down her neck's length, enabling Shannon continue delivering soft brief skins upon the smooth skin of Mandalore's neck.
Shannon then pulled away just a little, raising her head so her lips were by Mandalore's ear once again--close enough to where her lips were nearly grazing against her ear and Mandalore could feel her warm breath lick against her skin. Shannon reaching behind her own neck unclipped the bodysuit underlay of her armor. With her chest piece already at her feet, it made it a simple matter for Shannon to give a tug at her suit's body-forming underlay suit to peel it off herself just enough to expose her shoulders her chest, retaining some modesty at least for now. The hand of Mandalore's that rest on Shannon's back, Shannon then reached behind herself taking said hand by the wrest and gently pulling it around her torso, and then rest the palm of Mandalore's hand upon the center of her bare chest, "Can you feel my heart beat start to quicken while in your arms, too?"

"I understand..."
"How could you..."
Despite her words, Cyar let her eyes drift closed as a soft sigh escaped her lips. She didn't fight Shannon's advances. A light gasp of surprise made her eyes open as the other woman moved the collar of her under-weave aside.
"Shannon-"
Cut off by the sensations that caressed her skin, Mandalore's eyes slid closed once more. Perhaps she was letting the other woman in too easy, the intellectual part of her knew this. But the other side, the illogical side, desired the other woman greatly. Her lower set of hands would move to gently hook her fingertips under Shannon's belt. Cyar'ika nearly protested when the kisses to her neck stopped, biting her lower lip with a pronounced canine to stifle it.
Cyar'ika opened her eyes to watch Shannon, her gaze dipping as more of the other woman's skin was revealed. She could feel the way her heart slammed within her chest, only getting worse as she felt Shannon's hand on hers. Cyar realized she had been holding her breath as the hand was placed onto Shannon's chest.
"Can you feel my heart beat start to quicken while in your arms, too?"
She could. It's pace seemed near to her own. Timidly she stepped closer, lower arms sliding to the side of Shannon's hips as her last free hand moved to rest on the other woman's bare neck. With her eyes meeting Shannon's, Cyar'ika moved onto her toes to gently place a kiss onto her neck. Her breath was finally exhaled, and Cyar couldn't help but feel stupid for not realizing she had still been holding it. She was Mandalore, the leader of the mightiest warriors in the galaxy. Yet Shannon seemed to be able to take a proud, strong warrior... and turn her to putty. Mandalore peered up at the other woman with an expression that couldn't be misinterpreted.
"... Take off your armor, Fleet Commander." Cyar'ika stepped back from Shannon and held a single finger upwards. "Leave the under-armor on."
Mandalore grinned puckishly and walked away from Shannon towards the locker that stood nearby. Deft hands quickly stripped down the last remaining plates of her own armor. They then opened the locker to place the armor into it, and retrieved a wooden box with a latch on it. With her lower hands clutching the box, Cyar'ika smiled shyly towards Shannon wearing only the under-weave of her armor. A free hand moved upwards to beckon Shannon to follow her before she turned towards the open wall of the room, and strode out into Shogun's moonlight.

With a cant of her head as she watched Mandalorian move on to the patio, Shannon faint smile became one of a satisfied amusement. Mandalore's gesture to follow her Shannon certainly adhered to. It was a victory in its own right, Shannon accomplished what she wanted to do, Mandalore capitulating not just to Shannon's wants but her own needs. While this maybe more out of lust than love, either is a battlefront of its own, and this was yet another Shannon managed to navigate to accomplish her goal successfully. What if anything more comes out of this tryst Shannon had no clue what the future may bring, but she does hope there will be more experience with Mandalore further.
Shannon smirked at Mandalore's demand for the removal her armor, which Shannon actually casually doing as she was following the woman. Leaving armor pieces and components trailed behind her as she nonchalantly walked. But she arched a brow out of mild surprise mixed with curiosity when Mandalore to leave her underlay on. Clearly the woman had something in mind of her own, not that Shannon cared at this point. After all, she is a quite adventurous woman, thereby open to new experiences or willing to go with the flow with her partner's sense of exploration--at least to an extent.
Stepping up behind Mandalore, Shannon slid her arms around her with a soft caress of her body, while affectionately resting the side of head against the back of Mandalore's head, and with a deep breath took in the sweet scent of the woman's silky hair. As Shannon arms gently coiled around Mandalore's torso easing Mandalore's back into a firm press against the front of Shannon's torso, she cooed quietly into Mandalore's ear, "What's on your mind?"

Mandalore laughed lightly as she felt Shannon press against her back. Though her eyes remained looking up at Shogun's moon, she let her body lean back slightly to rest against Shannon's embrace. A sigh slowly sounded from Cyar as she enjoyed the moment, letting herself experience the sensation of another close to her. Still she kept herself reserved though, and didn't reciprocate with anything besides what her body did.
"What's on your mind?"
She stepped forward to slide out of Shannon's grip. Her head turned to peer back, icy-blue eye giving the other woman an almost predatory look.
"Whether or not you can handle me... Fleet Commander..."
Cyar'ika grinned, revealing one of her pointed canines and again motioned for Shannon to follow her. A confident stride lead them, down a small flight of steps to leave the crystal-carved building and onto a midnight blue colored beach. The sands were crystal worn down by the nearby sea, and glittered like a field of precious gems before them. At the shore of the sea, Cyar'ika knelt down and set the box down before opening it. After a moment of rustling through it, her hands held a few objects. Two wooden training knives with the emblem for Clan Vevut, and a cube of a mysterious, glowing material.
"This is something my father taught me to make. It uses the bio-luminescence of a fish caught on Mandalore, with an oil blend..." As she spoke, the 'bladed' edge of each knife was dragged through the wax, leaving a trail of the glowing material. "... to show where a blade would strike. We used it for training at night."
She dragged the faux blade of the knife onto her arm, a glowing line left where the 'cut' would be. Cyar tossed one of the training daggers to Shannon before she set the cube back into the box. Practiced hands flipped and whirled the training knife between two hands, a confident smirk on Mandalore's lips. Cyar'ika took up a fighting stance, her upper two arms in the stance while the lower two made a 'bring it on' motion.
"Let's see what kind of woman you are, Bralor..."

Shannon arched a brow in response to the situation she found herself in, then again she should not be all that surprised given it is another Mando'ade woman she finds herself 'courting' in a way. The predicament was not so much the playful spar was taking place in of itself, it was the fact it was completely to Shannon's disadvantage. Know thy enemy, or in this case it would be more prudent to say 'know thy opponent'. And Shannon knew that Mandalore is an exceptional warrior in melee combat, which is where Shannon's disadvantage lies for she is mediocre with such weaponry. Shannon is a strategist and plotter, the more she can keep her advisory away from her so she can plan stratagems, then the better for her, therefore translating into her forms of combat she is an expert with blasters and Mandalorian technological gadgets they are notorious for utilizing in battle. What this all means the change of venue that Mandalore has made makes it more difficult for Shannon to continue shaping the scene to her desires and agenda... she is going to have to think of a way to get back into control of the situation.
She looked at the fish oiled mock knife in her hand for a second, then back at Mandalore whose stance was one ready for combat. A smirk grew on Shannon's angular visage as she went into a simplistic combat stance while subtly digging the tips of her toes to her back foot into the fine beach sands. Her smirk was there and clear, for she had a plan. A feint for a quick decisive victory proving to be a deception for another deceptive ploy...
Shannon's smirk turning into a wide smile as she suddenly whipped the mock knife at Mandalore, throwing accurately right for her chest. But as anticipated the knife flew by Mandalore whose swift reflexes managed to evade it. As said--this was anticipated, for as Mandalore turned to face Shannon, the human Mandalorian woman kicked her back foot at Mandalore kicking up the beach sand at Mandalore's face. There was not a second to waste, with the sand launched at Mandalore's face turning her head to avoid getting sand in her eyes, Shannon dove right into the woman.
But was this really the self-perceived great Mandalorian strategist's plan? Placing herself squarely into the grasp of a close quarter combatant who is armed, while she herself essentially disarmed herself via a failed previous attack? Well, the end results of the situation cannot be said they were unexpected as Shannon found herself at Mandalore's mercy with several glowing marks on her body by Mandalore's mock knife.
Then again, Shannon in the moment pressed against Mandalore's body yet again... Did she actually lose the battle? Or simple place herself precisely where she wanted to be yet again? Shannon's sly smile seemed to say it all...
"It looks like you won this round...", she nonchalantly remarked.
