The small freighter glided through space, silent quiet unremarkable like millions of other ships of its type. Its small engines drove it onwards to a small space station in orbit of Ryloth. However, the person it carried was anything but unremarkable. Simo Kirrin, was a tall and rangy Rodian mercenary. In truth he dabbled in most things, Bounty hunting work, and smuggling even fighting in people's private armies. He was very rarely out of work being the sort of person who never asked questions especially awkward kinds.
He currently worked for Spearpoint an anti-Sith Pirate company. It was not exactly where he wanted to be in life but it paid well and in his mind for the moment was at least a temporary move till certain people in Republic, Sith Empire and Hutt space stopped looking for him. However, things were going badly with the Spearpoint and the money was drying up, so Simo reverted to what he knew best Bounty Hunting and generally shooting people. With Spearpoint remaining as his refuge in case anything went wrong.
It was with this desire to find work that his ship the Silver Mist drifted into dock with the old Station. It looked run down and dilapidated to him, but like someone had made a concious effort to patch it up. This station was a hub for pirates in the area and such people were always looking to have some one killed or were fighting some trivial war amongst themselves.
Simo stepped off his ship into the docking area. Unlike an 'Official' spaceport there were no checks no officials asking inconvenient questions about himself and his business. Doubtless he would come to the attention of who ever ran this place as his face was not known. Simo spied a bar nestled in a large open area. He shrugged in his experience bars were great places to find work in his line of business. He strode in his long shabby green coat swirling around him. He took a seat at the bar and ordered a Corellian Whiskey. Simo did not really drink, but it was part of the uniform in such places he found some, humans in particular, did not trust someone who was not drinking. What peculiar creatures they were.

The sound of cheers could be heard throughout the bar level of Kyle Orvast's space station, his pride and joy so far. Kyle's Cheer was one of those to be heard, the outward pleasant shout came from him as she shot up from the bar stool, yet again he had won the race that was being played on the holoscreen, or rather the racer he had bet on had won for him. The crowd of people who hadn't bet on the swoop racer # 12, where in a particularly bad mood now, but not Kyle, he had predicted the victor far before the race began, and once more had won, now people began tossing their losings and his winnings on the bar.
Kyle scooped them up a bit noticing the Rodian who was now coming in on the festivities, Kyle felt a bit sorry for the Rodian sense he had just lost out on a payday, but over all Kyle ignored the fact thinking the Rodian was one of his many patrons. Kyle now felt to be in a gambling mood though, there was the betting parlor on the level above the bars and cantina's, but Kyle didn't exactly feel like a hand of Pazaak at the moment, so he reached over a tapped the bartender who knew the programming better the Kyle, "When's the next race?"
"The Nal Hutta race is in another few hours, for now nothing else much to bet on."
Kyle sighed wishing for a bit of a winning streak today, but that looked like low chances...

There was a tremendous commotion in the bar. Simo's antennae twitched this way and that and trying to pick up all the noise he could. However, all the patrons seemed interested in watching the swoop races, he watched them. Many species stood around clutching datapads tightly with a list of the bets they had made. Cries of joy and of anguish went up as the racers whizzed by on the large screens.
The room smelt of alcohol, smoke and desperation. Glasses of various liquids in a wide variety of colours and hues were tossed back into throats in celebration or nursed miserably. Simo made a small hard to hear sound... gambling. Could there be anything more stupid in the galaxy? These men and women were all morons in his view. Putting their money down to chance taking such a stupid and frankly unnecessary risk. It was a behaviour he could not hope to understand.
Simo worked hard to minimise the risks he took, only striding into danger when he had no other choice, he was certainly not a thrill seeker in that sense. Simo enjoyed killing, and frankly in his opinion some people just needed to die. The most risk free way of indulging his passion was as a bounty hunter. He looked round at all the losers in the room, and knew that they deserved to loose for being so weak and pathetic.
Then he spotted him out of the corner of his eye, Kyle Cheer. From the information he had gathered this was the man in charge of this dump. He watched him carefully working hard to keep the façade of indifference on his face. A gambler, it lowered Simo's expectations of him straight away, and this station. This may well be a man with delusions of grandeur. At least as far as Simo could guess. These men were often useful, he would certainly be able to put Simo in with some one who needed a job or else employ Simo himself. He wondered however, how to begin a dialogue it would be strange to come up and just talk it would put him on his guard. Simo mulled this over while looking at him in a not looking at him kind of way. In the reflection of his drink, the mirror behind the bar, the highly polished bar surface and occasionally when he thought he could do so directly at him.

Kyle had noticed the Rodian was still looking out and occasionally glancing at him. The Mirrors at times, then others just direct stares. Kyle didn't really let it look like he knew. His men would give questioning glances at Kyle, asking in effect if he wanted them to be ready, he would ignore those glances until he would know a bit more about the Rodian.
Perhaps he was here to assassinate Kyle? Hired by The Hutt's perhaps? Well that would be interesting. Kyle thought to himself as he took a final swig of his rum and then started to the doors of the cantina, only to wait on the outside of the door to see if the Rodian would follow.
The men stayed in the bar so as not to draw attention to Kyle's leaving yet. Kyle stood on the other side of the door starring at it waiting for a few moments.

[[OOC--- Its fine no worries. Also if Simo speaks anything other than Basic it appears in italics]]
Cheer started to leave, Simo's multi faceted red eyes swivelled to follow his retreating back. Out and away from all these idiots in the bar good. He stood and paused for a moment. If Simo were in this man's position and a face that was not known in this system appeared on the station he would be really suspicious. Simo looked around to see if any heavys were watching him. For the moment he could see no one, or... was that guy talking energetically and smiling throwing him curious looks.
Simo shook his head, nothing much he could do about it on unfamiliar ground if the decided to grab him. He left his drink untouched and stalked out side. His coat swept out behind him, and his hand hovered close to his blaster, old worn but very well maintained like everything Simo owned. Simo's long green coat was like a small armoury filled with Knives and other weapons though he tended to disdain the use of anything other than his Blaster pistol.
However, he relaxed himself, if someone was watching the last thing he wanted to do was antagonise them and make them think he was going to shoot their boss. He was not here to shoot ayone. He grinned, at least not for the moment.
“You in charge here?” He shouted after Cheer's back in Huttese.
Simo was a Rodian and like all Rodians when he spoke basic it was with a slight lisping accent. He avoided speaking it if he could, as he found that humans especially took him less seriously if he spoke that way. However, Huttese was a good bet most of the criminal underworld knew at least a bit of it.

Kyle stood there, a smile on his face happy that he was right about the Rodian trying to follow him. Once he spoke Kyle quickly recognized his speech as Huttese, then picked the conversation up with his own answer.
"Yes, and i take it you came to the best station in the sector for more then a tour?"
Kyle asked in the Huttese as well, keeping it to what he knew the Rodian would understand. Kyle was also confident that the Rodian wasn't about to make the worst move of his life and shoot with about three of Kyle's men already to take a stand, they liked their payment that was one thing Kyle knew about his men.
To be fair though Kyle made sure they didn't make the first move and only waiting for the Rodian to move first, which Kyle was doubting he would.

Simo looked straight at Cheer, not bothering to focus on the men who were doubtless watching his back ready to put a blaster bolt in it. At Cheer's words he looked round the station with a slight twitch of his antennae, perhaps indicating a hint of disapproval.
“No I am not here to tour this … interesting station.”
A faint hint of sarcasm was in his voice.
“No I am here for business. I know such a well connected man as yourself would have a few jobs he could put the way of someone like me.”
Unlike most Rodians who had sing-song voices he spoke in a soft emotionless monotone.
“I shoot someone they die, I get paid.” That kind of work would be best. He keenly studied Cheer's face almost scanning him like a machine or droid would. Many people found his coldness a little unsettling. Simo always found it was best to give the impression you felt nothing that way it was harder for people to hurt you.

((OOC---btw...who's Cheer? My charrys name is Kyle unless you're using that as a nickname maybe XD))
Kyle made a hurt look for a second, is station was far more then interesting, but then sighed a bit tilting his head back to the elevator leading to the command deck. "C'mon, i'll take a look at my records, i'm sure i can find someone, somewhere who needs to get shot." Kyle's men walked behind the Rodian, but kept their weapons lowered for the moment.
As they walked Kyle stopped a smile now on his face as he had the perfect idea.
"Recently, a Rival Pirate attacked my space station.... he works claims himself a pirate, though in all honesty he's backed by the Hutts. You can find him on Nal Hutta, Go there, do as you see fit, but i don't want anyone thinking about making a second attack on this station when you're done, so make sure they know who sent you. You'll get your pay upon finishing the task, but it will be well worth the risks i assure you. 15,000 credits, and you get to pick how to best deal with him." Kyle said before starring at the Rodian, as if challenging him to take the job...
