The war was getting to be out of hand. The Republic troops were in over their heads, and what was worse was the fact that even certain civilians on independent worlds, were found siding with the Sith. Lies and deceit. That's all it was. Bribes and trickery. Dan Firestar found himself desperately wanting the Jedi to get moving and actually do something about this threat that was getting too close to home.
It was irritating that the Council was just sitting around letting people; they swore to protect, die!
His breathing was heavy as he sat in the training hall lifting the weight above his head and bringing it back down. He was keeping his eye on the clock. Dan was a member of the Blades, and as a result didn't feel any guilt when it came to the war. He DID fight in the war, most recently the Battle of Thila.
The clock seemed to move too fast. He was down to an hour before his arranged meeting would come. He smirked as he tossed the weight off of him with all his might, and then with the force caught it in mid air before setting it back on the rack. He grabbed the towel and began wiping at his sweat drenched face and then pulled his shirt back on leaving the training halls to shower in his own room. He had just enough time to finish and make it to the landing zone for the speeders before he boarded his shuttle that had been dispatched to him.
He knew the premise of why he had been asked to assist on this little meeting. In part it was because he had already helped another soldier with a similar question, so when they approached the Jedi to teach a small group of troops to handle a Sith encounter on the field, Dan quickly volunteered.
Now he found himself sitting in the back of the speeder, not prepared for how to handle this really. He was never the best teacher, but he'd be caught dead before he said no to helping the Republic's war effort.
It wasn't long before he stood outside the designated location, troopers already pouring into the open room, but there was still time for Dan to get his bearings and collects his thoughts for now.
"What did i agree to?!" He muttered to himself quietly as he looked about the troops in his small room. He counted about 12 men and women in the room some sitting and others still moving around. Meanwhile far more troops were pouring into other rooms not in his jurisdiction.
