Name: Diarmuid Ua-Duibhne (Lancer. )
Race: Firrerreon
Age: 30
Birthplace: Caamas
Allegiance: Sith Order
Status: Sith Knight
Rank: Knight
Height/Weight: 6’0” 185 lbs
Appearance: Diarmuid is regarded as a remarkably handsome and beautiful man with quirky black and dark grey hair combed backward in a rough fashion. Diarmuid's features are capable of sweeping a woman's heart at a glance, with the bold features of his face being the high bridge of his nose and his valiant eyebrow. His hard cut mouth marks him with a stoic air, but his sharp, orange eyes seem to hide a quiet grief. It has been noted by many people that he has a strong, many scent emanating from him.
He normally wears a dark teal with black trim outfit, made of armorweave, bordering on skin tight, with durasteel armor protecting parts of his body. While most people would think this is weird, Diarmuid doesn’t and think it showed off his lean and muscular body well. It is also normal to see him in black and red version of that outfit. Normal clothing would consist of darker clothing of black, blue, or dark teal. Even this clothing would be tighter fitting pants, shirts, and jackets/
On his left forearm is a cortosis bracer, also the same dark teal as his outfit, so he can use it for better defense with that arm, if needed. Normally he doesn’t, simply because of his unique fighting style.
SKILLZ!!!
Personality: Diarmuid is a very proud, easygoing, man, and always seem to brag about one thing or another. Once a man of chivalrous action, he now simply does what he wishes, for whatever reason he wants. He is also fairly popular within the military, being very approachable, and a drinker, who gets wild when he has too much booze in his system. He had helped many-a soldier get into bed with someone of the opposite sex. Another thing to note is that he gets bored easily, and when in a small ship, tends to complain about it.
Darmuid slipped to mental instability and eventual insanity due to the initial Sith attack on Dantooine, costing four jedi, including his former master and padawan, their lives. He took on a much darker outlook on life soon afterward, part in his grief and part in him being broken. It is not unusual for him to get into the moment of a fight and start attacking anything that moves.
Normally, however, he seems just like any warrior. He tends to be quiet and perceptive before a fight, watching everyone with a keen, knowing eye, only so he could undermine them, either tactically or through underhanded tactics. He is smart enough to lead someone into a well thought-of trap, be it one just thought up, or one planned out some time ahead of in a fight; even if it at cost of him being wounded, because he would just heal up quickly.
If he believes someone is worth anything to him, he will let them live, which is unusual for some Sith. However, they wouldn’t be thinking that if they knew whatever grand scheme Diarmuid may be thinking of.

Biography: Diarmuid's parents were never very rich and found it hard for them to live at all at times. It wasn't until right before Diarmuid's mother became pregnant that they saved enough money to leave Firrerrie for the core worlds. Unfortunately, that would was Caamas rather than Alderaan or Coruscant. About a month after they landed at the Capital city, Diarmuid's mother was found to be pregnant.
As soon as Diarmuid was born, he was given up to a orphanage, as his parents were unable to provide for themselves and their new child. Diarmuid was usually alone during his first few years, and was never given too much affection. He didn't understand the warm comfort of a mothers hug, like he saw in films, once he was old enough to remember.
Diarmuid was around the age of four before the jedi came to check the children for their midiclorian count. Diarmuid pinged high, at least higher than average, and was taken back to Coruscant for proper testing.
Once here, they found him to have below average count for what they normally were looking for, and he almost didn't get picked up for training, but somehow Diarmuid was lucky, and he was picked up for Jedi training.
Diarmuid was soon integrated into the Dragon Clan. He soon found it hard, however, to keep up with some of the training. Studying and applying himself was easy, but general use of the force was something he could hardly do. Even Supplemental lessons didn't prove to be of much help, but it did allow him to at least keep up with the rest of his clan.
Diarmuid's general knowledge was almost at the top of the clan, simply because it was one of the few ways he was able to fully apply himself. He was also skilled in saber training. He had to be careful, however, as he would occasionally singe himself with his own training saber. As he grew older and had more practice, this stopped, but he couldn't help but want something different.
At the age of 12, Diarmuid took the Jedi Initiate Trials, which started with meditation and moved directly into blindfold combat against a training droid. His mind was fair through the meditation, and the same could be said for his blinded combat. It took him a moment to find his center, but he managed. Next he went over the Jedi code, and what it stood for. Finally, he was asked to deal with a hypothetical judicial case. He managed that in a rather roundabout way, but passed that as well.
One by one, Initiates were taken on by Knights and Masters, becoming padawan learners. Diarmuid became more and more anxious as the Initiate numbers dropped lower and lower, and he feared that he would not be selected. When he thought his anxiousness couldn't get any worse, an older Besalisk man stood before him, his four arms crossed. After a few seconds of staring at the child, he smiled and told Diarmuid he would be his master, and train him well.
Master Grog, as the man was called, decided to stay on Coruscant for a short while, as Master Grog wanted to get to know and get a feel for his new Padawan better. Grog was proficient with many weapons used, but in his older age, stuck to using the force more than not. Needless to say, he was still very competent when it came to combat and training.
Grog and Diarmuid both decided on the latter learning how to use a saberspear, as, unlike most initiates, he had more time with that than a standard lightsaber. Grog went on a lengthy speech and demonstration on how to use spears properly, and, using his rather unique physique, he was using two saber spears, wielding both with pinpoint accuracy. Diarmuid, to say the least, was in absolute awe at this small performance, and begged Grog to teach him the same. Grog laughed at this, and said that he would, if he could even master using one. That day, Diarmuid swore to himself that he would master not using one spear, but two.
Diarmuid, whenever he was traveling, was reading up on different techniques using a spear, reading far into history and famous heros from different land, fake or real, who used a spear, be it lightsaber or old school. He was also given tasks and study material, simple things all Jedi should know, that he was to memorize and do before he could to his personal studying and training. Due to this, Diarmuid became quite a fast reader and learner, able to keep knowledge in his head for himself.
He also grew surprisingly fast: by the time he was 15, he was already closing in on being close to six foot tall. The saberspear he got from his master was only 130cm long- a decent length, but Diarmuid wished for something with a little more reach. He figured he was ready to build his own lightsaber, but model it after this one.
At the age of 15, Grog took Diarmuid to build his own lightsaber, making sure to bring all the necessary material to do so. They traveled to Ilium, where, in a crystal cave, and deep in meditation, Diarmuid made the basics for a lightsaber, and stuck it all inside the body of a collapsible staff. Diarmuid thought about putting an an actual spearhead on it, but opted to do it later, when he could actually sit down and do so.
After it was all over and done with, Diarmuid had a blue tipped lightsaber spear that was, including the blade, was 200cm in length, and well balanced for complicated maneuvers, as it included a set of balancing weights at the tip. Grog let Diarmuid keep his first spear. When they left the planet and returned to Coruscant, Diarmuid added some color to his spears, the longer one red and the shorter one yellow, as he simply found it appealing. He also decided to name his spears: his longer one Gae Dearg and his shorter one Gae Buidhe: Red Spear and Yellow Spear respectfully in his native language.
Diarmuid and Grog next spent about a year on Coruscant. Grog was starting to feel his age reaching him, and decided that he needed some small time to relax. Diarmuid busted the lightsaber of Gae Dearg during his time on Coruscant, and rather than work on getting it replaced, he simply had a phrik spearhead forged, which he tipped it with. Overall, it better balanced the weapon; it was slightly heavier, but felt more comfortable to use, so the payoff was worth it.
At the age of 17, Diarmuid and Grog were once again back to the galaxy, doing whatever the Jedi Counsel asked of them. In terms of combat, Diarmuid was gaining on his master quickly, and Grog finally began to show Diarmuid how to fight with two spears. It began with simple drills using one hand, and progressed from there. It was hard, but it quickly built up the muscle in the young man. During his travels, Diarmuid modified a phrik bracer to house his collapsed Gae Buidhe, so it wouldn't swing around whenever he was fighting with just Gae Dearg. He would use Gae Buidhe for indoor encounters, as it was much shorter and could be wielded a lot easier.
Diarmuid soon found out that this was much harder to do than he first thought, and simply stuck to using a single spear. He did, however, begin to learn how to wield one of his spears one handed, in case he was holding something, or one of his arms was disabled somehow.
At the age of 19, Grog and Diarmuid were sent om a mission to handle some pirates that have been harassing freighters around Naboo. The 'stowed' away in the belly of a freighter than 'broke' down and was 'awaiting' rescue when the pirates attacked. It tried to get away like a big fat heavy freighter would try to do, but was forced to stop and was boarded.
Grog and Diarmuid were waiting when the pirates entered the cargo bay. The pirates didn't bother talking and went right to shooting. Grog and Diarmuid were attacking to wound with Diarmuid making good use of his spears. They chased the pirates back to their ship, where they boarded that, and it took off away from Naboo with them on it.
During the scuttle on that, Diarmuid took a couple of blaster bolts to his leg and chest, which was lightly armored, but still hurt like hell. He shrugged off his armor, and used his extra mobility to attack quicker, at least until he took a blaster bolt to his back. After that, he saw only darkness.
Diarmuid later awoke in a kolto tank on Naboo, and was surprised to be there. Upon his removal from the tank, Grog told him he has been out for two days. He was considered dead at first, but his healing factor kicked back in, which saved his life. The kolto sped up his healing. A human would have been in there for a week and a half or longer, but two days was enough for Diarmuid.
For the next three years, things went pretty slow for Diarmuid and Grog. They spent much of their time either on Coruscant training mentally and physically, or off on some mission. Diarmuid worked extra hard for these years, pushing his body to the limit to get better with his weapons, and work on his speed and accuracy.
At the age of 22, Diarmuid underwent his Jedi Trials for knighthood. Grog deemed him ready for the trials, and was beside him all the way. Diarmuid had come far from the young child who barely qualified to be a Jedi to now undergoing his Trials. His Trial of Flesh was completed back when he almost died. His Trial of Courage was also completed that day, as, even though he was wounded, he still went on to try to complete the mission, which took courage to do, so the Counsel deemed that Trial finished.
His trials officially began with the Trial of Skill. All he had to do was fight a series of training droids in a controlled environment and win and the test would be over in his favor.
Of course, Diarmuid didn't know that the controlled environment was them controlling how the weather showed up in there. It began with him and two droids, him using Gae Dearg with Gae Buidhe in its usual spot hidden in his bracer. Diarmuid showed great skill with his spear, using not just the tip but the entire polearm in the fight. He was doing well until a third droid popped into existence behind him. Diarmuid sensed that, and used the force to kick out Gae Buidhe, extend it, and stab the droid, destroying it. This shocked the counsel and his master, due to his quick thinking and action.
For the next hour, Diarmuid fought a number of droids using both spears now, in a shifting environment and weather, but he eventually won.
Next was the trial of the Spirit. Diarmuid was brought to one of the meditation chambers with one of the counsel members, and went into a deep meditation. He went deep into his mind, with help of the master, and simply looked into his darkest corner.
When he thought nothing was going to happen, he saw a figure materialize out of the darkness: himself, only garbed in a black and red skintight suit with a few pieces of armor and sith markings up his exposed arms, neck, and up to his cheeks. almost faster than his eyes could track, his dark self attacked with a spear: Gae Dearg in fact. Diarmuid pit his arms up in defense, and blocked with his own two spears.
Almost instantly, Gae Buidhe was knocked from his hand, leaving them both with one spear. Both switched between attacking and defending, with Diarmuid unable to get the upperhand and his dark self seemingly to be toying with him.
Then something shocking happened, Gae Buidhe appeared in this Dark Diarmuid's hand, and both spears were attacking Diarmuid. Then the Dark Diarmuid knocked good Diarmuid's spear out of his hand, took out his legs, and gored Diarmuid. The pain felt too real, as did the blood that flowed over his hands. He fell to the ground, seeing the Dark Diarmuid standing over him smugly. Diarmuid glared, and used what strength he had left to use the force to summon Gae Dearg and stab him though the chest... repeatedly, killing him. After a few minutes, Diarmuid stood up, and declared victory. With that, he was guided back by the master accompanying him, and was given a small amount of time to rest.
Finally, Diarmuid was at the Trial of Insight: which was to decipher a old decoded Sith text. Diarmuid began with translating what he could, which took hours. After that was finished, he put it together like it was a puzzle, refined it, and tweaked it until everything fit perfectly. The entire process took about 32 hours, which he didn't bother resting for at all. The Jedi counsel said he was correct, and with that, Diarmuid passed the test. Diarmuid was allowed a break for sleep and food, and then he was knighted properly. His now former master congratulated him. Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, age 22, was now a Jedi Knight.
For the first few months of Diarmuid being a knight, he studied on how to be a good Jedi knight and master. He also picked up a habit of watching the interaction of others, civilians and jedi. The thought of love and close interactions between couples intrigued him the most, mostle because he never grew up in that type of environment.
At the age of 23, Diarmuid took off on a few missions himself, testing himself as a Jedi Knight. This mission was to the planet of Kashyyk. Slavers have been capturing wookies, and Diarmuid was sent to investigate the problem.
Upon his landing on Kashyyk, Diarmuid had to buy a small translation droid because he didn't understand the native language. After this, he went to the sight of where some of the kidnappings happened, and looked for similarities. He found some, and a trail, and fallowed it.
It took him to some abandoned city, where a few humans and trandoshans had set up shop. There were a few caged Wookies, as well as fresh Wookie pelts hanging out to dry. When it was long dark and everyone was asleep, save for the lone guard, Diarmuid stuck, knocking out the guard, and setting the Wookies free. The Wookies were not as forgiving as Diarmuid, and killed everyone at the site. With his mission completed, Diarmuid went to report what has happened on Kashyyk.
At the age of 24, Diarmuid got his first padawan, a 18 year old blue skinned Twi`lek girl named Isi`alect, or Isi. She was a feisty young woman, very headstrong, which was why she was paired with Diarmuid. Her previous master took ill some months back, so it was thought best to send her to a new master.
The two spend their first few months together at the Jedi temple on Coruascant, getting to know one another, as well as allowing Diarmuid to learn what skills his new padawan possessed and what she needed to work on. Isi was stronger in the force than Diarmuid was, and also quite strong in personal combat. She was particularly good at fighting multiple combatants, but weaker at one on one. Diarmuid showed her the ropes at fighting in one on one matches, with a number of different styles including both single and his unique double spears.
Diarmuid`s and Isi`s first mission together was to be a long mission to the planet Iri to investigate possible pirates and/or terrorist and/or a PMC organization. There would be no backup for months or longer, unless there was a emergency, in which help would come.
The duo engaged several gruella and infiltration missions, where they learned that these enemy combatants had more people and higher quality gear than they should have. On their last mission, Isi was badly injured in the fight, and although it would havr been smarter to leave her behind, Diarmuid instead went back and got himself injured to save his padawans life. For around a week and a half, Diarmuid cared for Isi in a small cave while they awaited help. This included holding her during a violent storm, not only because it was freezing, but also because Isi was very frightened of thunder and lightning. In injuries induced delusions, most likely with hormones working strongly, Isi confessed feelings of love to her master. He gave no response but a small, sad smile. Two days after the passing of that storm, help arrived and the both of them received actually medical help. During these months, Diarmuid turned 25 and Isi 19.
A few days later, Diarmuid and Isi were on Dantooine for debriefing and much needed relaxation. During some alone time with her master, Isi affirmed her feelings, after reading up on them, and actually learning about how she felt. Diarmuid knew she shouldn't love him, and him her, so he broke it to her gently. Yes, Isi was heartbroken, but she fully understood. Still, Isi was more than happy now just to spend time with her master.
Some days later, Diarmuid`s former master, Grog, arrived on Dantooine as he finished a mission of his own with his newest padawan. Diarmuid had a long talk with Grog about Isi`s feelings for him. Grog agreed that Diarmuid`s actions were the smartest at that time.
At that time, warning sirens went off, indicating that they were under attack. Diarmuid and Grog ran out of the Jedi temple, meeting up with Isi and Grog`s padawan quickly. In the sky were Sith warships, fighters, and landing crafts: the invasion of Dantooine has begun.
This group of four Jedi were at the front of the shield, helping to defend the front of Dantooine as many Sith landing parties advanced. Still, they were forced back quickly. The four managed to hold off near a small estate for several hours, but did sustain some small injuries. They pushed on still. Grog`s padawan was the first to die, as two Sith overwhelmed her, and managed to cut off one of Grog's arms before they were killed. Weakened, the now trio fell back to the estate as Isi took a lightsaber strike to the stomach, light but painful, and a blaster bolt to the leg. An explosion finally took the young woman off her feet. Diarmuid saw the grenade but he wasn't fast enough to counter it. Isi`s final wound was scorching up her right side, scorching her blue skin.
Grog said he would help cover them, with help from infantry men, while Diarmuid got Isi inside. Isi said she should be scared, but wasn't because her master was there for her, and she made her feelings for Diarmuid known once again. He shed tears for the young woman, and responded the same. Isi shed tears of happiness and the two shared a passionate kiss before he promised he'd be back for her. Isi passed out at this point, and Diarmuid left her in the care of a medic while he went back outside to join the fight.
Two things happened now, that were out of Diarmuid`s power, even though he knew that he could have prevented if he was faster and stronger. First was that his master was cut down by Dark Jedi before his eyes. Second was that the homestead behind them went up in flames, along with whoever was unlucky enough to still be inside. Diarmuid was to shocked to feel through the force. Grief stricken and filled with rage, Diarmuid unknowingly opened himself to the dark side, and attacks the two Dark Jedi who cut down his master.
Stupidly, they decided to attack him one at a time, where the first one stupidly charged in. He parried a swing with the long saber spear, but the short one nixed his ribs, causing a flinch. That opening was all Diarmuid needed to finish off this man. The second man played it smarter and stayed back, but this wasn't a sound tactic against a spear-man. Diarmuid, however, was half shafting the entire time, but still, the Dark Jedi managed to get inside Diarmuid`s guard and cut his calf, nearly stopping the spear-man in his tracks. Standing just outside of Diarmuid`s normal reach, the man taunted the other, and let his guard down. Diarmuid simply extended his grip down his longer spear`s shift and took the man`s head.
Diarmuid dropped to his knees, wounded, heartbroken, exhausted, outnumbered, and outmatched as several Sith and a platoon of soldiers marched upon the estate and the last guardian of it. Knowing that the spear-man was close to fully falling, and after seeing his performance, one of the Sith decided not to kill Diarmuid, but rather to take him with them. With a flick of his wrist, one of the Sith sent Diarmuid flying, and the impact knocked him out.
Diarmuid woke up strapped up in a vertical bench with a fierce looking Zabrak looking upon him. Diarmuid simply let his anger, rage, frustration, and sadness rush out of him, which prompted a smile from the man before him. Before turning and walking away, the Zabrak Sith said one thing:
You will be broken, my Lancer, but you will become much stronger and serve as my puppet, or you will die without ever seeing the one you mourn in your heart... [/b]
Diarmuid watched as that man walked away, and his view was replaced by young human woman, who couldn't have been out of her teens yet. She was scantily clad in leather clothes, but that was stretching the word, and gave Diarmuid a provocative look with her sapphire blue eyes. Moments later, her sweet smile turned sadistic, and he could have sworn the woman's red hair was on fire and her eyes soulless as Sith lightning arced up and down Diarmuid`s body.
Due to him having a very high healing factor, he was almost constantly being pumped with agonizing lightning. He wasn't aloud to sleep, eat, or drink during what seemed like days of flight, eventually given a break for food, water, and rest when they reached their destination: Korriban. They landed on some estate, however, rather than at the Sith Temple.
Here, on this estate, Diarmuid was broken, mentally and physically. He never saw much of the red skinned Zabrak man, but saw plenty of the red haired 'demon' who announced herself as Caster. His body was forced to the absolute limits in order to unlock his potential. Diarmuid was almost constantly kept in a state of unrest, and duress, his mind very open to probing and mental attacks, and his physical state weak enough so that he was easily pushed around.
Constantly, in his mind, he was forced to watch Grog be slaughtered over and over again, as well as seeing Isi be burned alive. He was pushed so hard his eyes would bleed and he begged for death. He even tried to claw out his own throat, until he became aware that that was an illusion.
Caster was horrendous with her mental assaults, blending reality with illusion, and illusion with reality, all while sending plenty of bolts of Sith Lightning through his body.
About three months after his arrival on Korriban, Diarmuid broke mentally. His body was in a horrible state, even with his healing factor. Just one day, his mind shut down. This was when the Zabrak man showed back up. He invested time and meditation lodging his own thoughts, wants, and needs into Diarmuid's mind, put it in a dark side box, tied a knot, and served it back up to the broken man. When Diarmuid came to, he felt off, like his thoughts weren't quite his. His body was still weak, but at least he was no longer being assaulted.
The Zabrak man showed himself again, Caster standing behind him. The man stated that he would be his master, and in turn, Diarmuid would be his long reach. Diarmuid was no longer afraid, and he smiled slightly, a sly, dark smile, and agreed. Diarmuid, once a proud Jedi Knight, was now a pawn of the dark side, and he would love every second of it. He knew it.
After the Zabrak, his new master, left, Caster brought out Diarmuid's two spears, both of which have been refitted with red crystals. He was also handed his former apprentice's lightsaber. This broke his heart once again, but he turned the sadness into fuel for his rage, and threw several objects around the room. Not satisfied in the least, Diarmuid took out the yellow crystal and fitted it into his smaller spear. Over time, he painted that spear yellow, and his longer, main one red. He put the red crystal from his shorter spear into the lightsaber, so he could still have a suitable indoors weapon.
Primarily, Diarmuid's training consisted of him going off into Korriban to simply slaughter what befell his path. This was simply to re-hone his skills. Diarmuid also put countless hours into simply speeding up his movements using training droids.
Over and over again, Diarmuid would practice the same motion, be it stabbing or arcing or slamming... He would repeat and repeat and repeat over and over and over again until his muscles burned and failed. As soon as he rested up some, he could continue his repetition.
A few months went by this way, until his master felt that it was time for Diarmuid to continue his training. However, it wouldn't be with him nor with Caster. They both had different agendas. Instead, Diarmuid would go to the Academy here on Korriban, and train along the same path as everyone else. However, when the time come, the master would demand his Lancer, and Diarmuid would come.
With that, Diarmuid was transported to the Academy, as that of a fallen Jedi, which, technically, he was, only slightly past that point now. He fell in with other Sith initiates. Some were younger and older than him, from former slaves to those who seemed to have pure darkside burning in their blood. Most, however, seemed new to the darkside or the force in general.
Diarmuids overseer was a rather unsightly human man by the name of Overseer Okeefe. Diarmuid felt that the force was strong with him, stronger than it flowed in him, but his body looked frail and slow. The newly healed and built up Diarmuid was cut, lean, and ready for action.
Overseer Okeefe's first test for the group of 8 that included Diarmuid was to go exterminate as many k'lor'slugs and Shyracks as possible before nightfall. It was still mid morning, allowing plenty of time before then to kill what they could, but it would be exhausting. They were each given a holocam droid to record the kills. If you die, you fail. If your droid is destroyed, you fail. This was how the games began.
Diarmuid began by going to the tomb of Ajunta Pall, where, looking like they were set up for a long engagement, local militia were set up attacking some slugs already. After a brief conversation with one of them, he learned that their was a large nest set up deeper within the temple. Gaining entry would be hard, but there was a reward for whoever could set off the thermite bombs emplaced in that area. Diamruid smiled, as that would account for many of his kills.
Diarmuid brought out Gae Derg, his longer spear, and flooded the area with red light, then charged into the temple, his recording droid hovering close behind. The slaughter of the indigenous creatures soon began, but the flying limbs and death left Diarmuid wanting more. In a short break, he disengaged his lightsaber, and simply brought out the actual vibrotip of his spear, which gave off a barely noticeable sound, but when the wind moved off of it, had a nice wooshing and howling effect, making it quite intimidating. Before, Diarmuid never liked it, but now, he could get use to it.
With an evil smirk, Diarmuid pushed on, impaling and slaughtering the slugs upon Gae Derg. By mid-afternoon, the man, tired but thrilled, reached the nest, and lit off the explosives, which almost collapsed the small complex they were in. Anything in the room, however, was now fried as Diarmuid made his way out of the complex, then the temple.
Diarmuid was almost the last one to return, almost not making it back in time, but two others were the actual last. Overseer Okeefe, checked his chrono, noted they were 30 seconds late, and lit them up with Lightning, torturing them for a small amount of time. He made it known that Sith were to be punctual, and lateness would not be tolerated. Besides those two, one initiate didn't return. Okeefe made it known that if he wasn't dead yet, he would reward whoever found the now former acolyte and killed him.
Since these six people returned, covered with gore, Overseer Okeefe gave them each a passkey, which was to a small, off complex for acolytes to sleep in, and gave instruction for everyone to meet inside on of the rooms inside the temple at 0900 in the morning. With that, The group was given the rest of the night off.
When the group split off to go their separate ways, Diarmuid was approached by a young human woman with blonde hair and green eyes. Diarmuid reconciled this girl as someone who was in his group under Overseer Okeefe, but he didn't know much more beyond that. She spoke saying that she wanted to pair up with Diarmuid for these trials. She was weaker when it came to melee combat, but strong in the force, the opposite of Diarmuid. Diarmuid decided to humor the woman, and when he asked for her name, she provided Rose Vi-Airt.
The next few days went pretty smoothly and quickly. Tests were simple things, such as decode this or torture someone for information on supply trains or whatever. Rose spent much of this time with Diarmuid helping him out with what he had trouble with, and he would help her, including combat training. Just because she was adept with the force doesn't mean that she she was great up close, so Diarmuid just gave her some tips and styles that would help her.
Within a month, The six of them were reduced to three: Diarmuid, Rose, and another human named Ulrich. Diarmuid didn't get along with this man, who had an ego bigger than that of Diarmuid. Ulrich did know that he was at least a padawan some years ago within the Jedi, but ran away for some reason, and has been on his own until the Sith attacked, then he hooked up with them, and felt like a badass about it.
Overseer Okeefe said that two of them would go from being a Initiate to an actual apprentice to a Master that had arrived here on Korriban. Apparently, Rose was chosen because of her force abilities. Diarmuid and Ulrich were both more saber oriented, so they would fight, and if the looser survived the fight, then they would be recycled.
With a chuckle, Ulrich said that he has been studying Diarmuid's combat style for the past month, so he knew that Diarmuid would use. The past month, Diarmuid has only been using Gae Dearg, leaving the collapsed collapsed Gae Buidhe hidden in the armor on his left bracer. His yellow lightsaber stayed in the armor on his left leg, hidden away as well.
Ulrich attacked first, a surprise attack meant to remove Diarmuid's head instantly, but the spearman dodged it, bringing his red spear into existance. He was actually doing quite well for himself, Diarmuid thought, and was able to stand up to the speed and power that the spearman was unleashing.
Ulrich wasn't prepared, however, for when Diarmuid unleashed Gae Buidhe. Everyone, from Overseer Okeefe to Rose to Ulrich, was surprised at this, which left Ulrich wide open. In quick succession, Ulrich had two holes in his chest, brought about by Gae Buidhe, piercing his lungs. Then, after a quick flourish, slowly put the point of Gae Dearg though his throat and spine. And with that, Ulrich was dead, bleeding out through three new, rather thin holes in his body: four if you count the exit wound on the back of his neck.
Diarmuid and the other two heard slow clapping, and turned to the source, which was an older human male in dark teal and black. He had light blond hair, with some grey, and sharp eyes, and upon seeing him, Rose called this man father. This Sith ignored her for the moment, and introduced himself as Lord Cumhall Vi Airt, a Sith Master, and now the master of Diarmuid and Rose, both chosen for their skills with the force and combat respectfully. Diarmuid happen to leave out that he technically had a master, but that wasn't relative now.
Diarmuid, Rose, and Lord Airt where then, shortly after their union, were on a starship on the way to Muunilinst, to where Lord Airt had a an estate outside of Harnaidan. During the trip, Diarmuid read over the released KIA/MIA list of Jedi and Republic troops from Dantooine. Unsurprisingly, he was counted as MIA, and his former master was KIA. What shook him was Isi was MIA, rather than KIA. Unconsciously, he reached out in the force to try to feel her, but he was unable to. He mentally concluded that she was vaporized in the explosion of the estate she was in, and would use her death to fuel his own power.
After about a day, they landed on Muunilinst. When they were in the main room of the estate, Lord Airt stopped the two of them, and turned to Diarmuid. He explained that he knew Diarmuid was more than a simple former Jedi, and that he could have even killed Overseer Okeefe if he chose to. Therefore, Diarmuid wouldn't be treated like a young initiate or apprentice: child, if you will. After a short amount of time of serving Lord Airt, he would officially become a Sith Knight, but once he proved himself useful as a Sith.
Rose, on the other hand, was still young: strong in the force, yes, but young, and would proceed to be an apprentice for a few more years before she would even be considered for Knighthood. He also mentioned that, once Diarmuid attained proper Knighthood, Rose may even become his apprentice, but he would wait and see. First, off, Lord Airt wanted to see Diarmuid's combat skill first hand. The man ignited a lightsaber and waited for the spearman to strike first.
Diarmuid began with Gae Dearg first, unleashing the red spear in a series of quick jabs to Lord Airt's head and torso. The older man parried or dodged the attacks like they were moving slow, and began to slowly make his own attacks, but ensuring not to wound Diarmuid too much. After a few touches of Lord Airt's lightsaber, Diarmuid brought out Gae Buidhe, and started using both his spears to attack and defend. Unfortunately, he wasn't quick enough to land any blows.
The match ended when Lord Airt's lightsaber singed right close to Diarmuid's throat, then he was blasted back by a wave of force lightning. Though he was still on his feet, Diarmuid was hurting and exhausted. Lord Airt told Diarmuid to work on his speed if he wanted to use a spear. Diarmuid was fast already, but if he wanted to be up to his new master's level, then he would need to get much faster, and needed more training. Diarmuid thought that he was already extraordinary with his spears, but it was not enough for Lord Airt.
After that, Diarmuid and Rose were left to be on their own for the rest of the day and night. Diarmuid's wound were already more or less healed, but he was still angry at himself for loosing a fight like that. He cursed his apparent lack of speed and technique.
That night, Rose snuck into Diarmuid's room, and the two eloped. In the morning, he felt revitalized like he has never had before. Lord Airt never knew that his daughter was eloping with his Diarmuid, and if he did, took no notice of it. After being served breakfast by some slaves, Diarmuid began his training session with Lord Airt. He didn't actually engage in combat, but rather had a series of droids go after Diarmuid. Armed with training sabers, the droids attacked with speed that only a Droid was able to manage. After a quick break for lunch, he was back to training his technique with the droids and Lord Airt overwatching. In the evening, after dinner, Diarmuid would train solo for hours, simply practicing and practicing over and over again to get the same move to go faster and faster. Occasionally, maybe weekly to bi-weekly, Rose would pay Diarmuid a visit a nightly visit.
This went on for about about four months, but after that, Diarmuid's body broke. It was during a morning training session, and he collapsed. Months of constant, hard work had forced Diarmuid's body to literally crash and burn. His healing factor couldn't keep up with rebuilding the muscle and time simply wore him out. For a week, Diarmuid was submerged in kolto, letting the healing liquid work its magic.
Upon Diarmuid's release from the Kolto, he had to do a small amount of physical therapy to get his strength and speed back to par. Rose assisted with this as well, and never left his side. Lord Airt was unimpressed by his daughters actions, but let it slide, as it was with his apprentice rather than someone more random.
The schedule resumed for the next five months, but this time it included Lord Airt in both combat, and he also began force training in the evenings with both Rose and Diarmuid. Since Diarmuid was almost entirely combat driven, Lord Airt had to teach the man how to use the force to augment his body, mainly so that he wouldn't collapse again, or let his healing factor fall behind once again.
First off, he had to perfect the way to deflect blaster bolts without the use of a lightsaber, since Diarmuid preferred to use an actual blade rather than a lightsaber blade. Diarmuid already had a grasp of the concept already from when he was a Jedi. Therefore, this ability came easier than the second.
That was boosting his speed through the force. The only way Lord Airt was able to explain is to use the force to attune their body and heighten his reflexes. Diarmuid was already lacking in force power, which was why he couldn't grasp it when he was a youngling, but, day after day, and night after night, he persisted.
Soon, whenever Diarmuid willed his body to move faster, everything seemed to slow down slightly, with the exception of Diarmuid. As time went on, they seemed to go slower and slower, with him not slowing down. The aftereffects were mild, on account of his healing factor, but he was still hungry after every training session.
Eventually, Lord Airt deemed Diarmuid ready for another test of combat. Just like the first day Diarmuid and his master stood opposite of each other. This time, however, it was Lord Airt who began the fight. Diarmuid dodged backwards, catching the lightsaber on Gae Buidhe, extended his reach further down Gae Dearg's shaft, and made with a swift horizontal slash.
For what felt like hours, Diarmuid and Lord Airt dueled striking back and forth against each other. Diarmuid had to use every trick he knew and learned, from when he was a Jedi to the past year he learned as a Sith, just to avoid being struck down. Unexpectedly, Lord Airt called off the fight, deeming Diarmuid passable by his standards.
With that, Lord Airt awarded him a shoto lightsaber, the same yellow color as Gae Buidhe, as well as access to a small starship and personal pilot. The starship was waiting for him at the Muunilinst spaceport, and his pilot with it. Rose would remain here on the planet for continual training while Diarmuid would travel throughout the galaxy acting in his stead.
While packing to leave, Rose brought up an outfit for Diarmuid: a dark teal and black bodysuit with a few armor pieces. It was the colors of Lord Airt, and being an envoy for that man, he would be thought of to wear this. It was constructed of armorweave, so it would stand up for a fight and last a long time as well. More of the same would be delivered throughout his travels, but at least for missions, Diarmuid knew this was his best chance of success, as he normally hated to wear any sort of armor, as it hampered his movements.
An hour later, Diarmuid was at the spaceport, and caught full view of his new ship, a LMSR-11 "Centurion" Long Range Patrol Boat. Its pilot was waiting at the base of the ramp. She was a rather well endowed woman, almost as tall as he was, with a shapely figure, long legs, and long black hair in a ponytail, and a slave collar around her neck. She gave her name as Suzuka Rumo, the pilot of Fianna. After a quick tour around the starship, they were off. Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, now age 27, was once again at large in the Galaxy.
Diarmuid's first destination was Yaga Minot, as there were plans for an assault to capture the planet. Diarmuid wouldn't play much of a large roll, but he would be able to see some action as a Sith Apprentice. Lord Airt established contact with him and told him that if he performed well, he would be boosted up to a Sith Knight.
Also, on the long flight to the planet, he caught up on the news from the past year he was away from the galaxy. Surprisingly, for the start of a war, he thought it there should have been more news. He also looked over the known KIA/MIA list for the Jedi, to see if there were any names he knew. There were some, but nothing too major.
For much of the flight, he either spent it in the cargo bay, where he continued to refine himself, his quarters, or in the cabin, where idly chatted away with Suzuka. He learned some about her, like how her father was currently missing, and she was captured, tortured, and was now a slave to he Sith. She was also given this position on a starship because she was one hell of a pilot, apparently.
The trip took just a handful of day before they were in the same system as Yaga Minor. By then, the assault was underway. Upon landing, the initial invasion was over, but there was still plenty of fighting going on. Upon landing, Diarmuid made it known that he was a Sith here to assist in the fighting.
As he was alone a small task force of Sith troopers were assigned under him; A section of half a dozen troopers. Diarmuid didn't need much in the way of troopers to accomplish his missions. After talking to one of the leaders of the invasion, he was asked to take care of a small band of Republic troopers inside of a hospital. They didn't want to blow it to smithereens, as it had medical equipment they could use rather than depleting their own resources. This was sound to Diarmuid, so he agreed.
Him and his section next found themselves in a shuttle being brought to the area where the Hospital was, which was in a major city some 150 klicks away. They landed on the outskirts of the down right before sunset, then made their way under the cover of darkness to the hospital. The plan was simple: four men would assault the front entrance and draw fire there, while Diarmuid took one soldier with him and go though the emergency entrance. The last man was to provide sniper support from a nearby complex. The hospital was only a few stories tall, so it was a simple mission.
About an hour prior to dawn, The assault began. The four troopers broke though the barricade at the front of the building with a rocket, then assaulted in. Any popshots from that side of the building were quelled by their sniper. Diarmuid and his supporting soldier began their own assault. He used one of his lightsabers to cut a hole in the wall, and then they were in. With Gae Buidhe in hand, mainly because it was shorter, as well as his shoto in his other, he proceeded inside, killing anyone he saw. By the time word of him came so late in the game, it was too late to stop the Sith assault team. The Republic surrendered, but Diarmuid left no survivors. They has no causalities, and only one wounded.
During his time on Yaga Minor, about two months time, Diarmuid led several such missions, from assaulting a secured building to capturing a supply train to generally dealing damage in a skirmish. Eventually, the Sith took full control of the planet, and Diarmuid's time here was over. He and Suzuka left the planet, and before they hit hyperspace, got a transmission from Lord Airt. No longer was Diarmuid an apprentice, but now a full fledged Sith Knight.
For celebratory reasons, Suzuka took Diarmuid to Nar Shaddaa, where he was taken to his first club in the red light district. A funny thing to note here was that he was IDed because his Firrerrean blood makes him look like he should be much younger than he actually was. That night, he used his good looks and the force to persuade several women to come back to his ship, and... (For censorship reasons, use your imagination)
Suzuka took what credits the women had, making a nice profit for herself, before booting the women and taking a still hungover Diarmuid into space. The previous night made him realize he now loved two things: women and wine.
For the next few months, Diarmuid jumped around the Outer Rim, assisting with planetary capture, be it through show of power or an actual military operation. Slowly, word behind the lines, or so his troop of six soldiers were saying, was that he was known as Lancer, because of his near-exclusive use of the weapons. His informality with the general military also made him quite approachable. (Helping soldiers get laid also never hurt either.
He also made sure to stay on top of all of his training. Never a day passed where, if he wasn't in combat, he was training. Thousands of thrust and swings a day at least. Tens of thousands when he was in space, or it was a long day of doing nothing. He also kept his mind busy studying tactics, or reading over notes for saber styles and how he can adapt them to his own.
Soon he got word from Lord Airt that there would be a joint force to invade the world of Ordo along with the Mandalorians. First, however, he requested his presence back on Muunilinst. Diarmuid obliged and he and Suzuka were on their way to the stormy planet.
Upon their arrival, Lord Airt once again tested Diarmuid, who had grown somewhat stronger and quicker since a few months ago. After the match, Lord Airt asked him to take Rose along to Ordo so she could see how war really was. Diarmuid said he would, and Lord Airt said keep her safe, because her death would mean his death. Diarmuid understood, and left a short while later; the group of two now three with the addition of Rose.
They joined in the fleet of Sith and Mandalorian ships gathering near Ordo's system. Within a month, the assault began. Diarmuid and Rose weren't part of the initial invasion, but rather part of the second wave, sent in to clean up the mess of Republic troopers holding out.
Rose proved herself well in combat. She relied heavily on the force, her deep teal lightsaber flashing to her defense when needed. She usually just blasted people with lightning, crushed them with TK, or, she demonstrated on a few occasions, pulling a building down on soldiers.
Diarmuid however, stuck to his spears, rarely going to his lightsaber's. After the first week of fighting, Diarmuid and Rose began operations to assist troopers, Mandalorian or Sith, who were being pushed back or oppressed by Republic Soldiers. Rose often provided aerial support when it was safe, and the black starship became a welcomed sight for what was quickly spreading through the ranks on all sides as The Lancer and the Flower.
Diarmuid turned 28 on Ordo, unknown to everyone but himself. He told no one of this, and simply carried on with his missions. It wasn't long before Ordo fell to the Sith and Mandalorians.
About two months after the events of Ordo, Diarmuid was contacted by a few faces he had not heard from in a long time: Caster and her Master: his first, but hidden, master. He said that he had pulled Lord Airt under his control, and that master now became the face of him. Diarmuid would continue acting as he did so, with Rose acting as his unofficial Apprentice until someone else came along. He also led on that she may become his official Apprentice, even if he took on someone else. Diarmuid nodded in agreement at all the above stated.
Diarmuid didn't know what kind of plot the man had, but he didn't like it. When the comm was cut, he let Rose know that she was sticking with him for a little while, but didn't make it known that her father was being controlled by another Master. Diarmuid then sat down to think of what to do next: there was a war going on, and if he was going to progress through the ranks and figure out what this mysterious master of his was planing, he needed to be the tip of the spear, or lance, in his case.
Diarmuid found that the time between the major battles were boring, forcing him to go out and find some entertainment. One of these adventures led him to Coruscant, where he mess around with some people in a bar before making his way off the city-planet again.
The next big event in his life was Taris, where the Sith invaded, He was one of the first of the soldiers to have boots down on it. He helped with the beachhead, and kept constant pressure on all the jedi and Republic troops. That was until the Jedi struck out at the Sith occupation forces. Diarmuid mostly spent his time in the main command building in the morning of that devastating day, nearly loosing his apprentice, but him and a few other Sith managed to drive the Jedi back.
The rest of the day was spent running away from a hoard of Rakghouls that the Sith awoken. Him and a few other people, ranging from other Sith to Jedi, and troopers from both sides, fought their way through a skyscraper to a shuttle, where they barely managed to escape. The event spooked him, having death knocking so much that day.

Man, im so BORED!!
You know, Diar, complaining about it doesn't make it go away.
No, but it helps me.
Does it really?
... no...
Diarmuid was half sitting, half laying, in a chair in the cabin of a small transport shuttle, the lands of Korriban rushing by under him. Suzuka was piloting the shuttle, and Rose was seated next to him, reading something on a datapad in her hands. It was Rose who was talking to him now. Diarmuid brought out his own datapad, but he couldn't concentrate on it, and within a minute, it was back on the floor with the piece of technology, which prompted a soft chuckle from Suzuka.
Diarmuid debated on throwing something at her, but didn't... she would tear him apart with her force powers, so he just stuck out his tongue.
Don't think your so cool because you have something to keep you occupied.
You do as well... You're just too stubborn to read it.
Yea... so...
Ok you two, calm down. We're almost to our destination, so relax or ill make this flight longer. Got that Diar?
I... um... yes ma'am...
Both women laughed now. Suzuka knew how to whip Diarmuid into shape when he was in a cramped area such as this shuttle. Apparently it was funny now... Some Sith he was, to be whipped by his pilot, and a slave at that…
Race: Firrerreon
