Name: James Alan Smith
Age: 19
Race: Human (gene-engineered)
Birth place: Fondor (colony regions)
Height: 5' 11'' or 180.34 centimeters
Weight: 145 lbs or 65.7 kg
Eye Color: Chocolate Brown
Hair Color: Raven Black
Appearance: He doesn't have a lot of money, so his wardrobe is extremely limited, so much so that he wears his ballistic vest as an actual vest most of the time though it is also a precaution due to his line of work. He also has a neural implant inside his brain with modular systems spaced along his spinal column that allows him to interact wirelessly with machinery without actually touching it. Other than a small socket at the base of his skull, the fact that he has one is almost unnoticeable unless he does things like staring off into space and reciting articles off the hypernet encyclopedia word for word or other such mundane things. It also doubles as a control chip for Quantum Vision Works as well, forcing him to accept jobs that quantum vision works assigns so long as they don't directly conflict with his morals.
He is rather average as far as humans tend to be, average height, average weight, black hair, brown eyes, a mild skin tone. He isn't particularly muscle bound but he is capable of lugging around his full kit for a couple of hours if necessary.
Personality: He is snarky, sarcastic, and generally unpleasant to hang around for most people.
Profession: Privateer (letter of marque issued by: Quantum Vision Works), Small time bounty hunter, Caretaker of cute abandoned things.
Previous Faction/Rank: Republic?
Equipment:
Cadian CBR-36 Blaster rifle
AA-37 heavy blaster pistol
Rev'Ant 62 light weight blaster pistol, concealed carry weapon
A. C. Rimward Militia Armor
Civilian Ballistics Vest

Skills: mathematics, engineering
Attributes:
Physical Strength: 5
Intelligence: 6
Speed: 4
Leadership: 3
Unarmed: 3
Melee Weapons: 3
Ranged Weapons: 6
Bio: His life began in a test tube as an egg cell removed from a donor female for 10,000 credits. A sperm cell was also taken from a donor male. The genetic package was extracted and altered. Genetic sequences were parsed out, disassembled, and placed into simulation. The egg cell and sperm cell husk was held in suspended animation for 2 years while both were scanned for deficiencies, any of which were quickly corrected. It took two years to construct an entire genome from scratch but they did. The genetic package was inserted back into the sperm husk and then used to fertilize the egg cell, creating a zygote. The natural process of growth was resumed again, well, almost. When the zygote became a cluster of four, the cluster was separated into four, each then going on to continue the process.
The Zygotes grew into embryos in artificial wombs and were birthed at the same time. Four identical beings, all designed to be the perfect soldier, smart, fast, cunning, except the third one, Subject 3. A lab intern had messed up somewhere though. Subject 3, like his brothers, was supposed to be perfect. He wasn't.
Subject 3 turned out weaker than his brother subjects. The project had government oversight though, and even though he was essentially a failure, they couldn't be outright euthanize the kid so he was taken to an orphanage and his files locked up and then forgotten in a small filing cabinet at the bottom of some office building. The name on the orphanage transfer papers for the parents was left blank, they couldn't very well give the kid to the donor father and the donor female had died in a crash with a drunk driver so they left those spaces blank. The name however, was a problem, they couldn't very well call the kid Subject 3 (Rejected), that would step over the ethical boundries that they were already toeing, so the person in charge of the files put down the first thing that came to mind, James Alan Smith. Little James arrived at the orphanage four days later.
For four years, he would stay at the orphanage, alone and forgotten.
