Jazen Solari Full Name • Jazen Solari Nickname • Jaz, Jazzy, works under the alias Forte. Race • Human Birthplace • Mandalore Age • 26 Gender • Males Sexuality • Hetero Faction • Fringe Concept • [Rank - 2] Former Jedi Knight, Grey Jedi, Bounty Hunter/Mercenary. Fringe Enforcer and aid to the former Darth Novus Languages • Basic, Rodese, Twi'leki, Huttese, Durese Assets • Mandolorian Armor(Non-Beskar), Custom Blasters, Lightsaber(Green Tint) Appearance Height & Weight • Height - 5'8, Weight - 185lbs Overall Looks •Jazen is average height and surprisingly light. His hair color is an un-natural ghostly white, and since leaving the Order it has grown to shoulder length and hard to the left side of his face. Jazen's eyes are dark blue(so dark they appear purple) with his left eye has scared from when he was a child. It descends diagonally from the upper left of his eye to the lower right. His left eye itself has been replaced with a cybernetic one. New scars from his time outside the Order have appeared, including on that goes from his left temple down to his cheek, several long scars on his chest and back from a vibroblade and one the cuts over his nose from it being broken. Several scars from his torture on Umgul still remain; one from his left shoulder down to his mid back, along with one that crosses from his chest up to his lower neck. Through the physical training he does, his body is in great shape, more than enough to handle the missions and tasks he undertakes, while remaining slim and agile. Jazen's casual clothes nowadays consider of a white dress suit normally; when he's on a mission or task, he wears armor he's spend several years assembling; Mando armor, at least for his chest, gauntlets for his forearms, boots with greaves for his legs a jetpack and a T-visor shaped helmet. The armor is down to the last detail a copy of Mandalorian armor, save it is made from normal material, instead of the rare Beskar they are normally made from. A black undersuit to complete the image. Two blasters rest on his hips, easy to pull out and just as deadly, while Jazen's lightsaber is clipped to the small of his back, hidden under a small flap, to keep it out of sight till he needs it. Personality Profile Jazen is not one to often beat around the bush. Blunt and direct, with a form of sarcastic humor and tone, often puts him at odds with others. But beneath his calmer, blunt outskirts is a warm and confident man, especially after spending years on the Fringe, often at times on his own. Rarely nowadays does he let his hardened mask slip, after being forced out of the Order due to politics. Only those closest to him are allowed to see beneath his armor. Jazen is calm and collected in battle, a byproduct of having faced countless life or death situations, through his training as a Jedi and through techniques taught to him by Lidah Faine, a former Sith who employs him and trains him in the ways of the Force. He has flashes of anger when others get hurt, including the innocent and for those who hurt them, he has no mercy or sympathy. Oddly enough, his dual training from both a wielder of the light and the dark has given him a neutral overlook of the Force, and of the Sith and Jedi in general. Background Father • Raze Solari, Deceased Mother • Jayla Solari, Deceased Siblings • None Other Important Connections • Tylan Brack, Former Master, Fallen Jedi. Locke Nemsee, Jedi Master, Former Teacher Lidah Faine, Former Sith Master, formerly Darth Novus, Master and Employer. Braze Solari, Uncle, Former Mando Special Forces, Mercenary Overall History • Jazen was born to his parents Jayla and Raze on the planet of Mandalore, the home planet of the Mandalorian culture, in the year 3618 BBY. Born a strong healthy child, his father was proud to call him his son, awaiting the day he could raise the child into a great warrior like himself. His father was well-known, even among the Mandalorians, for his skill in close quarters combat, especially with the two short blades he always carried with him. Jazen was a careful child, sometimes approaching an object with great curiosity, only to back away from it and push or nudge something towards it to test if it was safe. He was walking before he could speak words and those shortly came afterward. To his parents, he was a gifted child, one which would become a great Mandalorian in the future. But as he grew older, his father began to feel that something was off about his son. He couldn't put his finger on it but it lingered in his gut. Suspicious, he decided to see if his wife had noticed anything. But first, he had to confirm something from her. Raze knew little about where his wife was from, or about her family as she had arrived on the planet years ago as a young girl around ten. Asking her about what she knew of her family, Raze found out Jayla's father had been a Jedi who abandoned the Order to be with Jayla's mother, the woman he had fallen in love with. While he abandoned the order, he did not abandon the Jedi teaching and continued to practice them in secret. As she grew up, he found that she possessed Jedi qualities as well and decided to teach her a little about the Force. However, while making a trip through the space above the planet Raze lived on, pirates attacked the ship and her father threw her into an escape pod before the ship went down, taking him and her mother with it. She had then landed here, where the rest he knew. She became part of the Mandalorian culture through completion gai bal manda, then the verd'goten three years later. It was during that time that she met and fell in love with him. Angry beyond words, Raze was ready to end her then and there but he found that he couldn't. Despite her Jedi heritage, she had not once shown interest in anything but Mando culture since he met her. And even if she had kept it a secret, she had done nothing to break his trust or their bond. Hurt but unable to hurt the being who had come to be as much a part of him as his culture, he made her promise she would help to raise Jazen as a Mandalorian warrior, nothing more. Agreeing, Raze and Jayla settled the matter for the moment and went to bed, unknowing that the now four-year old Jazen had been listening in on their conversation. Although still too young to fully understand what they meant, Jazen remembered a word from their entire conversation, only one; Jedi. After this, he found himself at his father's side more often, Raze taking him around whenever he could while on planet. The Incident on Coruscant Two years later, occurred the first event that would shape Jazen's life. His father Raze was to head off on a mission off world. It was supposed to be be quick, easy, and would make some money for the family. At her request, he decided to bring Jayla along. Jazen's father would complete a job, and his wife would be able to test our her skills. Intending to have a family friend babysit Jazen while they were away, Raze and Jayla didn't notice a small object crawling into the ship. That object was Jazen, who had crawled into the ship out of pure curiosity. He ended up crawling into the holding area, where he fell asleep. The fathers job indeed was simple; A man had stolen both money, and a holo-cube from a corrupt politician. The politician hired them to catch him and bring him back before he could get too far away. Tracking the man wasn't hard, he was obviously in a rush. His tracks where clear and easy to follow. Catching up to the man, Raze snuck up and incapacitated him with relative ease and then reclaimed the holo-cube. The man seemed to cling to it rather tightly. Whatever was on that cube, the politician didn't want it to be seen and that his target had protected it with his body. Part of Raze wanted to see what was on that cube. Knowing better however, Raze pocketed the item with the intent to return it to its owner. The politician, being an extremely paranoid man, decided that he would have to get rid of the both of them to protect his secret. There was the possibility that one of them had gazed upon the forbidden information; information that could never be let out. At this time, he could use the pair's skill and subsequent deaths to his political advantage. The Jedi council were contacted through one of his unknowing assistants to hide the fact that he had wicked intentions. He had the assistant inform them of a pair of bounty hunters whom were heading out to assassinate a fellow politician who was preventing them from reaching a planet they wished to occupy. The Jedi were unsure at first, but sensing the man was not lying, they sent a master and his padawan to investigate, while the politician sent his own contracted men to make sure his trap did what he intended. Finally, he contacted Raze again, telling him he had another job for him, one which he would pay greatly more for its completion. And with that, the trap was set. After returning to the ship to resupply for this task, Raze and Jayla found Jazen, who had been sleeping in one of the locker's aboard the ship. Upset with his son, but knowing that they had to move on the job quickly in order to get it before other hunters, Raze told his wife to stay behind while he handled the job. Upset with her child as well, but not as much as her husband, Jayla took him into the ship to wait, but had a feeling that something was wrong with this bounty. Upon arriving, Raze quickly dealt with his assigned target, killing the man before he had a chance to speak a word. As he prepared to leave, he noticed a data file active on the table. He would have left it, had he not noticed the name within the file that he knew. Grabbing the file, he skimmed it, learning that the man he had killed was set to become a member of the Senate. And the man that had hired Raze to kill him was the next possible candidate. And he also found another piece of information; the man lying dead on the floor behind him had found evidence that his cilent was dealing in the black market and was responsible for many deaths in order to reach his position. Raze was not a fool and he quickly came to realize what he had done. As he started to leave, the Jedi master and his apprentice arrived. Seeing the dead politician on the floor, they turned their attention to Raze. They demanded to know why he had killed a man who spent most his life helping others, a prime candidate for representing his planet on the senate. Raze, however, gave no reason, saying it was only a job and tried to leave. The Jedi stopped him, saying that they would need to take him into custody until they determined what had really happened. Raze refused, knowing that his family was at risk and wanting to deal with the man who had set him up personally. Trying to flee, he noticed that the only exit was the one he and the Jedi had entered, the other way had been sealed off. Seeing no other choice, he tried to flee out the way he came, past the Jedi. Both Jedi countered his rush, forcing him to try and fight his way past them. He was unable to handle both of them at the same time however, and sustained heavy injuries which cause him to pass out. After checking the datalogs within his helmet, they back-tracked to the man's ship, where they encountered his wife and Jazen. After locating it, they were threatened by the wife, who wanted to know what happened to her husband. While the Jedi had been tracking the ship, the politician's men that had been observing from another building contacted their boss. Learning that the Jedi had only taken the man captive, he told them to kill all those present without delay. As the Jedi tried to explain to the woman to avoid another deadly conflict, the politician's hired hit men struck. As chaos unfolded, the injured Raze woke up and quickly took action. Jayla told Jazen to hide in the ship, while she ran to her injured husband. A three way battle began as the Jedi, Raze and Jayla and the hit men fought each other. That's when a fatal mistake was made. Jazen once again defied his parents word and poked out of the ship. As they had been ordered to kill all at the site, one of the hit men took aim. As Jayla ran to to protect her son, the man fired at Jazen, who in his fear, let out a small burst of force energy. It turned the lethal shot into a graze, which almost destroyed his left eye. Before the man could get another shot off, Jayla took him down and then moved to her son. But before she got there, she was shot from behind, collapsing in front of him. And thus, the darkness took Jazen as he passed out from his injury. A Life Forgotten, A Life Obtained Waking up several days later, he was inside an infirmary at the Jedi Temple. The Jedi who had attacked his father stood watching him, their hearts heavy. They had just found out that they had been used by the politician after questioning one of his men and had almost killed innocent people for it. Despite their hatred for the Mandalorians, they could not show disrespect to one who spent most of the battle trying to protect his family rather than fighting the Jedi. The events of the battle had hit a terrible turn after Jazen had blacked out. After his mother had been injured, his father had rushed to her. One of the remaining hit men had chosen that moment to throw a thermal detonator, which landed close to the ship. As the bomb went off, his mother and father had been knocked off the platform to the garbage below. Meanwhile, the padawan had seen the thermal flying through the air and in an act all his own, had moved to grab the boy and get him clear of the ship. A burn to his back had been his reward but Jazen had been pretty much unharmed. But as they were about to tell Jazen the story, he asked who were they and who was he. Shocked, they found the boy had amnesia for his head injury, which seemed to have removed any memories prior to waking up in this ward. The Jedi were at a loss. The parents were dead and if they did not know what clan the boy was from, the chances of finding immediate family were slim. They only knew his first name because during the battle, when the man had taken aim at him, the mother had called out his name in horror. Thinking it over, they decided to take a risk. The boy had given off a hint of the force during that battle, and if they raised him as a pure Jedi, he could be a great Jedi. Since he remembered nothing about his heritage, it was possible. Jazen's left eye had been heavily damaged by the bolt and the kolto was unable to restore its sight. They carefully replaced it with a cybernetic one, a scar coming from the upper left of his eye to the lower right remaining as a reminder of the attack. The years following this accident were some of the best and worse years of Jazen's life. The Academy was grueling, so much effort to train your mind and to store your emotions. One thing Jazen had no trouble with was the training of his body, as his father had taught him a few of the ways the Mandalorians before and his body remembered them via muscle memory. For some reason, combat with his body came naturally to him, which affected the style he used while training with his saber, choosing the style that fit most with his bodies style of combat. Although he got along fine with other students, he preferred to keep to himself. He spent that time either studying or practicing his form. At times, his thoughts drifted to the past, of the memories he could no longer remember. The Jedi later told him that since he was still small back then, his memory had not fully developed and that he should not dwell on the past but on the future. Soon enough the intense Jedi training often kept him from dwelling on the past at all. As more years passed and he grew older, he found the Jedi training to be more and more alluring, and he slowly started to come out of his shell and interact with the other students. He began to practice force sense, because even though he had a fake left eye, it was prone to problems, so he started training his senses in case it failed at an important time. As he approached his 13th birthday, the age one would find out if they would make padawan or be sent away was coming up quicker than Jazen thought, so he spent more time on his skills with the Force, being fully capable now at moving objects with it and his sense allowing him to see more and more of his surrounding each day. His healing was lacking though, but he made up for it with his knowledge of sense and of body. Passing the Test After much practice, his 13th birthday came. The day went along normally, not much different than any other day. The only strange thing was that during the basic sparring they did every day, a master was present this time, one Jazen did not remember seeing around the temple a lot. Seeing this as a chance to prove his worth, he decided to show his best for the sparring. It was simple sparring; the one who disarmed the other would be the victor. The master watching filled Jazen's thoughts as the sparring began. His fellow student was more gifted at this point with his saber, Jazen's technique off and unbalanced because he had neglected it. He was quick on the rebound though, his training coming back as his body eased into his fighting style. Rather than face him head on, Jazen used speed to his advantage to keep the much greater warrior off balance. He was always on the move, never stopping for more than a second. Their sabers would only clash for a few seconds before Jazen would change his position, leap into the air above or back to a safe distance. Knowing his objective was to disarm his fellow student, Jazen moved into the quickest strikes he could muster and moving constantly around the fellow boy in order to distort his sense of balance. Seeing him begin to feel the effects of spinning around in circles so much, Jazen moved in for the finish, a strike to the saber. But he missed, his own balance offset from his actions and the boy's lightsaber quickly reached down to rest near Jazen's shoulders. Coinciding, Jazen backed down, disappointed not in the fact that he had been bested, but in his failure to properly demonstrate a worthy performance before the Jedi watching. After finishing the rest of his classes, Jazen headed back to his room, watching the day whittle away bit by bit. He had shown such a bad side to a master, something that he shouldn't have done. He had let thoughts of being chosen affect his movements. He would have to fix that, to become better. The Jedi had been his life, the people who had taken him in when he could remember nothing about his past. This was his home and he couldn't stomach the thought of being sent away from it because of such a small mistake. But much to his surprise, the master present at the test came to his room and told him to come with him. The master took him to the council, where after the members debated amongst themselves, decided that Jazen would be the Padawan learner of the master who had brought him to the chamber. After leaving the room, the master told him to go back to his room and gather his clothes.Still shocked at first, Jazen's instincts kicked in and he gathered up his clothes and threw them on, then headed out after him. The master asked him to forget anything he might still have an any kind of an attachment to, but Jazen told him the only thing he had ever known was the Jedi way. After acknowledging this, Jazen then asked his master if one thing could be done for him. He wished to be able to visit the city in between missions as much as was allowed, as he hadn't seen much of Coruscant considering he had been in the temple most the time and was interested to see the different races that populated it, if only to get a handle on the different races he might encounter on missions. Seeing the resolve in the boy the master, who's name was Tylan Brack, allowed this provided he showed improvement in his Jedi studies as well. Trying to hide his obvious happiness, he bowed to his new master and promised not to let him down. His master then told him right away that they were to handle a mission of diplomacy and with that, his apprenticeship began. Master and Apprentice For the next three years, he fought beside, trained with and learned from his Jedi teacher, even picking up his sense of sarcasm and humor. He was often the one who had to talk to the natives, as his master knew he was quite knowledgeable about different races. His master was no slouch on that though, as he taught Jazen many different languages and helped with his studies as well. While Tylan liked to let Jazen learn by experience, Tylan knew when to take lead and despite his joking manner, was a fearful person when serious. As often as he could, Jazen ventured out into the streets of the massive metropolis that was Coruscant, often under the guise of taking a walk or going on an errand for his master, and met many different cultures and species, some of which were the leading race on the planets he went to missions for. He started spending some of his time looking at other cultures practices and way of living, so that he would not cause issues on a mission or would be able to use this knowledge to help on the mission. His skill with a saber had grown due to constant training with his master, who luckily for him, used the same style as Jazen wanted to learn, which helped him grow better with it every day. His studies were still an area with which he struggled with but with his master's help, that was also improving. His sense had grown as well, to the point that he could feel the surroundings around him with almost relative ease. His missions weren't as numerous as some of the other students he had grown up with had, but they had been enlightening and a good test for his ever-growing skills. Jazen tended to shy away from other master's but was never rude when they offered advice or suggestions. He even met with the two who had saved him years ago, as they liked to see how he had grown. Since Jazen was away from the temple in-between missions, he didn't see the other padawans as much, but when he did, he often spared with them, or talked about their missions. He found it was easier to express himself to someone who fought with, although why this was still alluded him. As his 16th birthday approached, his master had poor news to report to him. There was another student Tylan believed could benefit from his teaching. He saw a younger version of Jazen in the child and wanted to teach him what he had been taught. Seeing where his master was going, Jazen bowed, knowing that his master knew what he was doing and that this, deep down, was also painful for him. Thanking him for his teaching, he questioned what would happen to him. Tylan's mood lifted to this and he reported that Jazen would return to the temple, where the Council would assign him another master, one Tylan assured would most likely be wiser and stronger, one Jazen would learn much from. Thanking his master once again, they left to complete their final mission together, one that tested both of them to their limits but ultimately strengthen their bond. Upon the mission's completion, they both returned to the temple, where Tylan went one way and Jazen the other. However, Jazen learned the next day that his former master had vanished. When he asked what would happen to the new padawan, the Jedi asked him what other padawan he meant. Seeing what his master had done, he shook his head and told them it was nothing. They informed him that in light of this situation, he would get a new master, hopefully one that would not abandon his duty and padawan as Tylan had done. Jazen now awaits the new master that fate has thrust his way. One Teacher for Another Not long after Jazen lost his first master, a new one was assigned to him. Jazen met his new master, Locke Nemsee, within the temples vast training halls. It didn't take long for both Jazen and Locke to become acquainted with one another, although it took a battle of sabers and wits for them to accept one another fully. Despite losing to his new master, Jazen found the event enlightening in a way and looked forward to learning what his new and very high spirited master had to teach him. It didn't take long for Jazen and Locke to head out on missions together, the first of which was a trip to the planet Alderaan about a month after their first meeting. Upon request, they headed to the planet to take a young Arkanian by the name of Blanche into Jedi protection. Blanche, a translator for the a local Hutt, had escaped and offered them information in exchange for the protection the Jedi could afford. Along with his master were two other Jedi, another Padawan and Master combination. However, they were forced to leave the task to Jazen and Locke as another matter called for their attention. It didn't take long for Jazen and Locke to not only discover her whereabouts but learn that they weren't the only ones looking for her. After a disastrous first meeting and rescue attempt at an Alderaan University, Jazen and Locke separated in order to track the woman and a bounty hunter that had taken her. After a harrowing chase through the city, which included one bounty hunter leaving her only to be take by another, both Jedi faced the remaining hunter atop a spaceport bridge. Luckily, due to Jazen's quick thinking, Locke's combat skills and a fluke from Blanche herself, the situation was resolved. As they returned home, Jazen realized the mission had strained both his physical and mental abilities. He would need to change that for next time. A chance to test himself came again a few months later, this time in the form of the Jedi group calling itself the Blades. The group, filled with Jedi and Military alike, wanted to engage the Sith who had suddenly emerged directly, instead of waiting peacefully like the Order wished. Locke wished to join the Blades and asked his apprentice if he wanted to still follow him. Despite some initial conflict, Jazen chose to follow his master into the Blades, hoping that by joining them he could not only overcome his shortcomings, but learn from the other Jedi within it. Their first battle came shortly thereafter, on the icy world of Rhen Var. Sith and Blades members clashed in a violent showing of lightsabers, blasters and ships. Within the icy temple, Jazen waited with his master for the sith to arrive and after a tense period of waiting, were rushing headlong into battle. Lost amongst the chaos, Jazen was quickly separated from Locke and was forced to hold his own against Sith and soldiers alike. During this event, Locke suddenly emitted distress, distracting Jazen for a moment, which led to a him taking a serious head injury. Despite the injury, Jazen continued onward to find his master, fighting through whoever dared cross his path. A Sliver of the Dark Downtime after the battle allowed Jazen some time to think about his actions on Rhen Var. A month passed, plenty of time to recover and ponder. A newly acquired scar would serve as his reminder to what happens to those who allow themselves to be distracted so easily in battle. Unfortunately for Jedi during a wartime, peace often didn't last long and Jedi were often called upon. In this case, an investigation of a series of kidnappings on Umgul. Along with Jazen and Locke, another Jedi Knight was dispatched to the planet, by the name of Gabriel Alaris. Shortly after arriving on the planet, all three Jedi noticed something was amiss; some dark being who's presence they could not sense. Still, they had a mission to accomplish and if this presence wanted itself to be known, it would probably do so eventually. The mission started out normally enough aside from that. The three Jedi landed on the mist covered planet and made their way to Umgul City to meet their contact for the mission. Since the mist prevented vision in almost any direction, Jazen spread the Force out around him, a second set of eyes that would spot any that entered its reach. It didn't take them long to reach their destination and meet a young woman who appeared to be the contact. She ushered them through the streets to a speeder that would take them to their destination; the small village of Kriezna. The woman, who chose to name herself Roua, explained what she could of the kidnappings, or at least what she knew. She also enjoyed toying with all three of them, via seductive glances and humbling words. What caught Jazen's attention about her, however, was that she gave almost no feeling to the Force. He could not read her emotions and he could barely feel her presence even though she was not two feet from him. Gabe and Locke had felt it too, but decided to discover the reason for it later. And that's when the mission took a terrible turn. Shortly after arriving and beginning their investigation into the kidnappings, all three Jedi were ambushed by unknown assailants and taken captive. When Jazen awoke, he was bound by the hands and legs by energy binding's, stretching him out in a star shape. His upper clothing had been removed, along with his footwear and tools. His Master and Gabe were bound as well, but with their arms and legs behind their back and to the wall, facing his back. Their captors, who revealed themselves as Dark Jedi, intended to prove themselves to the Sith leader by providing information about the Jedi: information they hoped the three of the them would provide. The three Dark Jedi knew that the older Knights would be better trained against pain and harder to break. But Jazen would be a much easier mark and through his pain, they might weaken the older knights. And so, for the next day or so, the Dark Jedi pummeled Jazen with many methods of torture, both physical and mental. The whipped him, beat him, burned him, usually all in succession. They would let him tap into the Force, briefly, for strength, then continue the attacks until he broke free of its grip again. More painful than the physical beating they bestowed upon him was the mental torture. Jedi and Sith alike, on occasion, have broken someone's mind by attempting to influence a stronger one. All three Dark Jedi attempted it on Jazen. The pain of being attacked mentally by three Force probes almost drove Jazen insane and despite his best attempts, he could not help himself from screaming out in pain. It was at this point that he broke for a moment, offering to give them whatever information he could in exchange for the pain to stop. The three Dark Jedi, pleased with themselves, told him they would stop the pain but only if he picked which of the two other Jedi would take his place. Unknown to them, Locke had managed to weaken one of the couplers that powered Jazen's binding's, leaving it weak enough for the young Jedi to break it. Rage and anger swelled within Jazen as he snapped his hand free while the three Dark Jedi were laughing on Locke and Gabe, who had provided a distraction for him to break free. His lightsaber flew to him and within seconds he was free. And the three Dark Jedi never knew what hit him. Consumed by hate and fueled by the memory of what they had done to him, Jazen snapped. The first fell before he could even realize what happened, Jazen's saber cleaving him in two. Locke and Gabe freed themselves during this moment, although Jazen was so lost in his mind that he didn't notice it at all. The second Dark Jedi spun to face him while the third tended to the now free Jedi Knights. The next few moments were nothing but a blur to Jazen, who lashed out with ferocious strikes at the man. The Dark Jedi did his best to counter Jazen but was overwhelmed by the fury he had awoke and soon lay beside his ally on the floor, his head on the other side of the room. The third Dark Jedi had been subdued by Gabe, while Locke tried to snap Jazen back to himself. Unable to tell friend from foe in his rage, Jazen attacked his Master with the same fury he had used on their captors. After a brief but intense duel, Locke managed to subdue Jazen and snap his mind back to the here and now. The days that followed the event were hell for Jazen. His touch with the Dark Side haunted him, not because he had let himself slip into it, but because he had enjoyed it. He had killed without mercy, had lost sight of all those around him and had even attacked his own Master. The thought that he could have hurt or even possibly killed Locke because of this weighed heavy on Jazen. Locke, unsure of how to handle his Padawan's problem, brought him back to the temple for training, hoping to find an answer in the calm. Seven Long Years Two years later, Jazen was finally able to take the trials and become a Jedi Knight, much to his Master's pleasure. But not long after that, an incident occured that would shake Jazen to his core, and his faith in the Jedi Order. During a mission to a Republic controlled world, a crazed man had held two triggers in his hands. One would trigger a bomb which destroyed the spaceport, thousands of innocent lives at risk. The other had a bomb wired to a building nearby that held the elite class of that world. He said one would go off no matter what, so Jazen had to chose. In his attempt to disarm the man, as his teacher had taught him, and save everyone, he made a mistake. The man read a move of support as an aggressive move and triggered both bombs. Jazen managed to stop them, with the kill switch just in time...but the bombs still set off in the building, set to blow if the other bomb didn't go off. A backup switch that the guy hadn't revealed. A number of innocent lives were lost that day and were it just that, things might have been swept away. But the son of a famous Senator was among the casualties and his father called for justice. He brought his influence and power to bear and threatned the Order, that he would use all that power to make them pay unless justice was served. With the public trust already swaying in the balance, and the attention it was bringing due to the senator, a choice was made. And Jazen was no longer a Jedi, especially when the senator managed to find proof that Jazen was responsible for a similiar incident several years back regarding a spaceport destruction. Jazen was shaken by the event and despite Locke trying to support him, Jazen's faith in the Order was damaged. And within a few days of being forced from the only home he could remember, a message found its way to him. A message from someone he had not heard or seen in years...the same woman that he had been chasing that had led to the spaceport destruction. The message was simple; if he wanted work now that he was cast out, a place to go...and possibly information regarding his past, to seek Lidah Faine on Nar Shadda. Jazen, alone and angry and lost...he was headed to Nar Shadda the next day. The next five years were a blur, but the majority of it feel into three categories. First, finding out that he was the son of Mandalorians. One a former Jedi who cast aside the Order to be with her husband. Once he discovered that, he also discovered he had an uncle, on his father's side. Finding him wasn't hard; convincing him to teach Jazen about his heritage and how to fight like one was. But the man was an outcast himself and through that bond, he managed to get him to teach him how to fight like a Mandalorian.
