Ylva Vuk Full Name • Ylva Vuk Nickname • Madame Wolf, Wolfie Race • Zabrak Birthplace • Nal Hutta Age • 32 Gender • Female Sexuality • Heterosexual Faction • Fringe - The Exchange Concept • Rank 3 - Mercenary Languages • Fully Fluent: Basic, Zabrak. Understands: Huttese, Durese Assets • Limited access to Exchange supplies, ships, armor, and weaponry Appearance Height & Weight • 6'0" 175lbs Overall Looks • Tall by any measure, Ylva's broad shoulders and coiled musculature do not quite overpower her feminine curves. Her head is crowned by six horns, with the two above her temples being the largest at about an inch and a half long. Her hair, a dark brown, is kept in a wide mohawk across the top of her head that often hangs to the right side. Her violet eyes stand out bright against her dusky tan skin. The purple ring of color on the eyes of those who were infected by the Archeri Plague is almost imperceptible on her eyes. Her facial tattoos consist of thin brown lines that begin as hexagons around her two foremost horns. The lines trace down past her temples to the outside edges of her cheekbones. From there, they move downward and inward to mirrored points below each eye, and then up to connect at a point on the bridge of her nose. She has a scar, about two inches long, that runs along her left jawline to the front of her chin. Ylva prefers close fitted, flexible clothing. The kind that won't get in the way should she find herself in a scuffle. She often wears sturdy, knee high leather boots. Amused by the effect it can have, Ylva can also often be seen in low cut tops that show off her ample bosom. With these tops, she also likes to wear vests of various fabrics. To top it off, she has a favorite rancor leather jacket with three quarter length sleeves. This jacket often conceals a small blaster and vibroblade knife. Personality Profile Ylva had once been a proud and exacting business woman. She'd maintained a perfect record as the premiere cleaning professional on Nar Shaddaa. Her reputation of attention to detail was well earned, and she ruled over her business with an iron fist. She worked hard, but also played hard. When quitting time came, she was the first to offer to buy a round and would then proceed to drink everyone under the table. She had built a solid community of employees, clients, and friends in her time as the owner of the Jolly Janitors. When she became infected with the Archeri Plague, Ylva destroyed almost everything she loved. The woman that has emerged from that dark place is somewhat different. She has lost her status as a business owner, as an employer, and as a trusted friend. She carries the burden of perfect memories of the things she did, and the people she killed. And yet she is still the same woman she was before. She wants to buy the first round, and then to drink everyone under the table. But overall, Ylva is an angrier person now. She is angry at the Archeri for what they did to her and what they made her do. She is angry at her friends for how they see and treat her now. She is angry at herself. There is a dangerous hole inside of her where that strange power had been while infected. The high, the rush of it cannot be forgotten and she is one bad binge away from ruining herself. Too keep that beast at bay, Ylva now throws her whole self into whatever job Lidah gives her. Background Father • Valko Vuk, 58, dock worker Mother • Loup Vuk, 53, seamstress Siblings • None Other Important Connections • Lidah Faine, THE Boss Vance Asano, Lidah's... nephew or something Jayec Veth, Bounty Hunter, booty call Jazen Solari, Lidah's other nephew, maybe. She was afforded little formal education beyond what her parents could provide in their precious free time. Ylva rarely saw her father, who often worked 18 hour shifts at a docking bay. Though she saw her mother -a house servant- more often, Ylva spent much of her youth caring for herself. This created a fiercely independent child and while her parents regretted their situation, they were very proud of her. Growing up on Nal Hutta required that Ylva learn to defend herself from the other children of the downtrodden. She was so fierce and scrappy, that her father had taken to calling her Little Wolf. When she was around 13 years old, her family managed to work off the oppressive debt they had fallen into with the Hutts. At the first opportunity, Valko booked passage off planet for his family. What money he'd been able to gather, however, only managed to take them as far as Nar Shaddaa. But their small apartment on the smugglers' moon felt like a palace now that they were free of the Hutts. Still, Valko continued to work long hours as a dock worker, and Loup established a business for herself as a seamstress. Once again, Ylva was left to her own devices. At this point, it became what she preferred. Ylva quickly found herself running with minor street gangs, learning the tricks of the trade from whoever was willing to teach her. Along with learning how to fight, Ylva quickly became valued for her ability to leave hardly any trace of her presence at a crime scene -a skill she'd learned on Nal Hutta where a small child must needs stay unnoticed by Hutts who were easy to anger and heavy handed in their punishments. Over time, Ylva would hone this skill into a profitable venture. Ylva became known across Nar Shaddaa for her ability to rid a crime scene of any trace of foul play. She ran a successful janitorial business as a front for her real work. She was particularly good with body disposal. With notoriety came the luxury of picking her clients, and so Ylva has began to shut out any Hutt business, finally able to allow her disdain for the disgusting slugs to show. Instead, most of Ylva's work was contracted through a relatively new Exchange boss, Lidah Faine who managed to carve out a decent territory for herself in only a few years. That business relationship proved to be the right choice. Ylva was able to expand the Jolly Janitors three fold, buying a new warehouse, speeder vans, and even a cargo ship. Ylva had grand plans to diversify and include shipping into the available services her company could offer. But the arrival of the Archeri Chorus ensured this would never happen. Ylva was infected early, before the galaxy even knew what was happening. Taking what she thought was a drug that granted temporary force powers, Ylva soon found herself completely under the influence of the hive mind. Still fully aware, Ylva found herself needing to carry out the will of the Chorus. This lead her to exposing all of the Jolly Janitor staff to the plague, killing most and enthralling a few. She then later went on to sabotage a supply delivery to a refugee camp, exposing more to the plague and possibly killing thousands. She managed to lure Forte, one of Lidah's agents into voluntarily exposing himself to the plague. And when the Republic and Empire joined forces to stop the Archeri, Ylva fought her own friends in an attempt to capture and kill her closest friend, Simone. Failing at that, Ylva fled to await her transformation when the Singing Spire fired on the moon. But Ylva was confronted by Willam Scathe and Jayec Veth and captured. Now, with the Archeri gone, Ylva is faced with the atrocities she committed during the conflict. She has lost her business and so many of her friends. She is at Lidah's mercy and quite possibly no longer welcome in her own home. |
