Appearance Face Claim • Lady Gaga Height & Weight • 5'9, 140lbs Overall Looks • If Kailani were to focus on one thing about her appearance she most admired, it would be her pants. Loosely cut, black with a long red stripe, an obvious sign of Corellian honor, showing to all that graced her presence that she was someone of note. In her mind at least. In reality Kai had taken the trousers from a ex-Corellian military man after a well placed blaster bolted had ended his life. Despite the blood stains and their emotional past, Kailani wears them with pride. They were some damn fine pants. In addition to these fantastic pants, the platinum haired woman can be found in a white bodice, barely covering most of her assets paired with a tattered black jacket the word "HELLION" spelled out in faded letters across the back. When she remembers to wear a shirt, it too tends to be on the revealing side, generally with convenient rips and tears through the fabric. Judging by dress alone, Kailani is a woman for whom shame has no meaning. What one notices after this is her face, for someone so harsh her face is unusually kind, with round cheeks and soft bowed lips, complimenting her peaches and cream complexion when not bruised or smudged with dirt from her latest brawl. The foil to this sweet baby face is the wicked grin stretching from ear to ear. Curly white-blonde hair is the bane of her existence. She struggles endlessly either taming it into something short of manageable before giving up and throwing the frizzy remains into a messy bun. Kailani's often given thought to being rid of it all together, but can't seem to bring herself to do. Maybe after another pint. Personality Profile Kailani Quix is sarcastic, violent, flirty and above all else, an alcoholic. Content to drown her life away in booze, Kailani is almost always present with a flask in hand and some sort of weaponry in the other. Introduced to the stuff by an old boyfriend years ago, Kailani drinks both in a grand celebration of life and in her own personal mourning. As can be rightfully assumed, her personality differs drastically by both her level of sobriety and the kind poison shes ingesting in that moment. Reckless to a fault, the blonde pirate acts first and asks questions later, usually with disastrous results. Never quite learning from her mistakes, Kailani is stubborn and set in her ways. Living by a loose moral code, Kailani follows her whims. She can take a life without a thought, but can be momentarily troubled by a comment she might have made in passing the week before. Most things in the end roll off her back, including death threats and insults. She just wants to get rich, get drunk and enjoy life. Overall History •  Born to a life of privilege and stability as a lesser noble on Corellia, Kailani wanted for very little growing up. Her parents, frustrated with their inability to have a son and their relatively low positions in the political landscape of Corellia. Using their only resource, an excess of daughters, they pressured their children to marry well and withheld much emotional intimacy and support in their quest. Kailani was content with this sheltered and closed off life until meeting the older Drake 'Hellion' Frazk, a former Corellian hero turned renegade. Drake, embittered by the political scene of Corellia but still within grace was still an infrequent guest to Corellian high society gatherings. During one such gathering he shared a dance with the Quix's second born, Kailani. Enamored with the teenager, Drake made a habit of communicating with her until sometime shortly have her sixteenth birthday Kailani snuck out of her family's estate for a brief taste of freedom. While her relationship with Drake was, in retrospect, exciting and inappropriate, it paled in comparison to the divine freedom she felt out in the greater Corellian area. By seventeen Kailani found no reason to sneak back home. The next few years were a blur of her father's attempts to hire bounty hunters and other mercenaries to bring her back home and a wild party lifestyle with Hellion. Tiring of Corellia the former cop turned to a life of morally ambiguous work that melded quickly into piracy. Kailani took this all in stride, becoming something of an adrenaline junkie as well as falling into the pitfall of substance abuse. THis carefree lifestyle was quickly cut short when Drake, high on deathsticks, was double-crossed on a job gone wrong. Kailani, for the first time in her life, had complete independence. Taking over Hellion's crew and ship Kailani led a series of poorly done jobs that eventually cost her the allegiance of Drake's crew before finally his ship. Resorting to brawling for money and doing whatever she could to maintain her freedom and stay out of her parent's grasp, Kailani eventually met Shine Albartos and Asyr Yevor on Coruscant. Through that bit of luck Kailani eventually joined Asyr's current pirate venture, the Bohemian and her crew. Working as the ship's translator and a hired gun, Kailani maintained a friendly and affable personality, and became good friend and lover of Asyr's. Both being commitmentphobes kept things casual and friendly, even after the Bohemian eventually disbanded. Kailani found work through the holonet as a mercenary for sometime as the war reached it's apex and for the most part, tried to keep herself out of trouble. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, Kailani discovered she was rather pregnant halfway through a job. While it was a relief she wasn't just getting fat, it posed a rather difficult question concerning her lifestyle and career path. Deciding to keep the pregnancy Kailani returned to Corellia and purchased with all her available assets a cantina and bar named Bennigan's. Kailani would work there and wait out her pregnancy, give the kid up for adoption or something and then figure out her life after that. After six months a pale mewling half-echani was born and the best laid plans were swiftly shattered. Kailani named the boy Soran and decided she'd make the bar work in the long-haul. For a while she debated telling Asyr about his son, but kept her communications with him short and pleasant. One year turned into easily into four, with Soran having only recently celebrated his birthday at his mother's bar. Kailani's taken in all sorts of wayward youths and former scum like herself as Bennigan's quickly becomes something of a hodgepoge family all it's own.
