Correllia was about as far from the outer rim as you could get, and it was right in Janus' backyard. It was perfect for this. Janus had made some calls and got word of a bail jumper on Correllia. It was time to see if Diva had any idea what she was doing in bounty hunting. Here, in the core worlds, in his back yard. If she couldn't make it here with his help she couldn't make it. The mottled blue marble floated there, slowly growing as Janus received his preferential docking codes. He let the ship finish the docking pass on it's own as he strode toward the docking bay.
Coronet security gave him a cursory nod and left him to disembark at his own pace. He lingered a moment in the starport docking bay. It was a strange thing to be in a nearly empty docking by with only a handful of people determinedly minding their own business. It was a strange subtle power that came when he returned here, but he could not deny it. He quickly flagged one of them down and asked the politely to bring his speeder around.
“Well Diva. You have the target's file. I assume you've read up on the important details.” he paused a moment for dramatic effect. “What is your next move.” He spread his hands out in a gesture of uncertainty. “I can and will provide support and advice, but I want to see your mind move. What's is our plan of attack.”

Diva had never been to Corellia. At least, she didn’t think she’d been. It was always hard to tell with how sheltered Gordon had kept her in the last few years, shuffling her from hotel room to hotel room across the galaxy while he completed missions. Just a few more jobs, Lili. One job always bled into another, one expense fractaling into the next until Gordon was gone and Diva was left alone on Nar Shaddaa with barely enough sense to survive. Barely.
Datapad in hand the faintly glowing woman skimmed the file Janus had sent her. Shortly after waking up on his ship and having a bit of breakfast Janus had laid out the plan for her. She wanted to be a bounty hunter, huh? Well, time to put that to the test. Hitching the messenger bag she carried up and over her shoulder the girl made her way down the gangplank.
“Woro Solbourne. Fourty-six. Male. Devaronian-- They’re the people with the horns, right?” She asked, brows knit together as she skimmed the file. It lacked a picture, but the description was rather detailed. Woro, the scoundrel, had a rather impressive mullet and a cybernetic left eye. “Wanted by the Black Suns for…” A single finger trailed along the screen, following the aurabesh. “Running off with his payment before completing a job.”
Looking up at the spaceport, the girl caught her new defacto mentor’s eye with a pleasant smile watching the speeder pull up before them. “Says here that he’s from Labour Valley, so we should start there, right?”

"You tell me D." He said, already heading for the speeder. Devaronians did infact have horns but he felt like she was more talking to herself then. He flicked the directions to the labour valley from his datapad onto the hud of the speeder and quietly buckled himself into the passenger side. It would be about an hour ride, traffic permitting, but it'd be interesting trying to get a answer out of someone from that side of town while driving a speeder like theirs. All of this meant a more fulfilling challenge, and Janus was always free to come back after and clean up any loose ends.
It was the unwritten rule of the whole investigation, no matter how bad you screwed up, assuming you didn't kill anyone, it could be fixed after all was said and done. He was hoping that the relative safety didn't detract from the experience. It was a hard thing to predict, she could see this and think, well if nothing matters, i might as well try anything and spoil the experience, but hopefully she saw this as the job interview it was.
Janus reviewed his notes on the ride over. She had the most of it correct. He was Devaronian, he was listed as running out with payment, and this wasn't a bad place to start looking but there was a lot hidden between the lines on this one. First Woro had a clean criminal record aside from this one infraction, which is strange considering the scope of this crime. Second, the job he ran out on was trivial compared to the amount he was being paid for it, and finally the bounty was posted about ten hours from when the crime occurred. All of this smelled bad. To Janus it looked like someone paid someone for a smuggling job, or a hit, and when they backed out, decided to flip them to the police to clean up their mess. Still, this was a decent learning experience in it's own right.
