Eidolon Full Name • Orban Mecetti Nickname • Eidolon Race • Human Birthplace • Obulette Age • 49 Gender • Male Sexuality • Hetero Faction • Ostensibly Fringe, Actually Mecrosa Order Concept • Mecrosa Operative posing as a Intelligence Broker / Assassin For Hire Languages • Durese, Droidspeak, Huttese, Basic, Mandalorian, Herglese Assets • A purpose built starship, wide range of contacts in high and low places of the galaxy, large variety of weapons and a large discretionary spending budget Appearance Face Claim • Manu Bennet Height & Weight • 6'3'' & 200 lbs Overall Looks • Tall with powerful build, Eidolon is a man built for battle. His frame is that of a man whom has both spent a long time honing their physical form into pinnacle of performance and then put it into an extensive use. There simply isn't a muscle on his body that isn't tuned to as close to perfection as possible. This image is further emphasized by the way Eidolon usually carries himself; with utter confidence of a man whom firmly believes himself to be the most dangerous person in the room. His movements are fluid and agile, often resembling those of an apex predator in their grace. Eidolon generally prefers wearing clothes that fit the situation, though always top range quality and custom made for him unless the mission demands he look as regular as possible. A tall order for someone with his looks. His most noticeable feature is his missing eye, which is always seemingly covered by an eye-patch. However, the eye-patch is merely the front of a cleverly disguised cybernetic implant that allows him to see with his missing eye but also confers some additional advantages. Among these are zoom, night and heat vision as well as ability to connect to holonet. The drawback is that the implant is weak to electric discharges that cause it to short circuit. This, while not lethal to Eidolon, can usually incapacitate the man. Personality Profile As someone that makes his living within the shadowy realm of intergalactic information trade, Eidolon projects an image of shrewd professionalism. Most of the time he is utterly pragmatic in his dealings, coldly calculating benefits and drawbacks of any courses of action that he takes. With other people he generally conducts himself politely but frankly. Despite of his pragmatism and lack of qualms about doing things others would find distasteful, Eidolon does conduct himself with a certain code of honour, simple as it might be. He pays his debts and will always keep his end of the bargain unless betrayed first. Despite this, his only loyalty is to himself ans his benefactors in the Mecrosa Order and House Mecetti. Background Father • High King Corik I Mecetti of Tapani High Kingdom, 67 Mother • Dorella Merana, Deceased Siblings • A number of Half-Siblings Other Important Connections • Grandmaster of the Mecrosa Order, ?? Overall History • The man who would one day become Eidolon was born as a result of indiscretion of youth. Corik Mecetti had a short, quick tryst with a socialite he met at a party and the mother decided to carry the following pregnancy to term. However, before Dorella had a chance tell Corik about her pregnancy, Corik's parents moved in. A noble bastard was less of a problem than an ill-advised marriage and they had plans for their son's future that certainly did not involve him tied to some common lass. So they made a deal with Dorella, one that she couldn't refuse. If she kept the knowledge of the baby to herself, Corik's parents would give her an obscene amount of money. She agreed. The money Dorella received was enough to secure a comfortable life for herself and her son. Unfortunately 'comfortable' wasn't quite enough for Dorella. Soon after Orban's birth she returned, or rather tried to return, to her old life among the high society but soon fell in with the wrong kind of people. Sensing someone with more money than good sense these 'friends' of her soon took her for all she was worth, bleeding her down financially and eventually leaving her and Orban destitute. Soon after she fell into depression and developed a number of problems with various mind-altering substances. As Dorella alienated more and more from reality the Mecrosa Order finally decided that they needed to intervene. In accordance to its doctrine to serve and protect the House Mecetti the Mecrosa Order had been discreetly looking after little Orban and once it became clear that Dorella was unable to properly care for her son they moved in to take him into custody. Orban might have been a bastard but he was a Mecetti bastard and thus it was their duty to protect him. So, late one night when Dorella was well and properly out of it all, agents of the order broke into her apartment and snatched Orban while she lay in her drug induced torpor. She would never see her son again. Being taken away from his mother was not an easy experience for Orban, but it was made easier by the fact that the Mecrosa Order did its best to accommodate the boy and to heal the trauma it had caused. They also did something that the then seven year old Orban had dreamed of for as long as he had had the mental capacity to understand that he lacked one half of his parents; they introduced him to his father. Corik was shocked to find that he had a son he knew nothing about and did his best to involve himself in Orban's life as much as possible without causing a scandal. This to Orban was more than he could have ever hoped for and though he knew that his father could never make him a true member of his family he resolved to at least make him proud. Thus Orban dedicated himself to his studies with the Mecrosa Order and over the years grew up to be one of their finest students and eventually one of the Order's finest operatives. When he was finally deployed into the wide open galaxy, he did so ostensibly as an information broker agent. And while he proved to have talent for this line of work, it was only when he began expanding into the business of assassination that his reputation began to grow. As the years rolled by, his handle 'Eidolon' became widely known, and often feared, in the business of selling and buying of secrets. |
