He takes his height from them, as well as the natural shielding from the force but little else. He looks to be middle aged, with brown hair starting to show grey and blue eyes. His body is lithe and agile, fluid in all movements he makes, and he keeps his face neutral. He has several scars across his body from blasters, knives, and general warfare. He generally wears a admiral's uniform. His armor consists mostly of a very durable Durasteel composite frame, motors, wiring, and everything else, all under a thick black composite armor. Over this is even more armor, being thick green layered pieces of compressed durasteel composite to give him the most protection possible. The green armor is attached directly to the frame so that Kurt doesn't feel the weight. His helmet is mostly green with a mirrored visor. This links directly with his cybernetics in his head to provide a detailed heads up display and tactical information to include various vision modes, digital magnification up to 50x, and a low detailed radar up to 25 meters that with IFF signature. A shield generator is present and can be switched off when not needed. This is all powered by a micro fusion pack on the back, making its own power rather than using heavier battery packs. Kurt doesn't wear it very often unless he needs to go directly into battle. Personality Profile Kurt is without a doubt, 100% military. He would stand strait and tall. He is calm and stoic, remaining quiet much of the time. he doesn't know how to really relax and simply exists for the sake of the Republic. He does have a sense of humor, usually making remarks or quips in an appropriate situation. Around the general public and most people. he remains stoic and silent. Around familiar people, he is more talkative and interactive, letting the stoicism fade slightly. He is a leader, great and formulating engagements be them in space, air, or even the ground, using his long life to his advantage, and sees his plans through with the best of his abilities, Despite being a Admiral, hates sit on the back lines and would rather lead from the front. As it stands, he keeps his fleet ready for engagements anywhere. Background Father • Kadan (Deceased) Mother • Elizabeth Adams (Deceased) Siblings • Nona Other Important Connections • Overall History • Kurt was born on Corellia, or rather over it, to his father, an Epicanthix Kada, and human mother Elizabeth. His father was an Captian with the Republic navy and Elizabeth was a Neurosurgeon working on a hospital ship. At the age of 8, the Mandalorians launched one final assault on the Republic. Kadan was a casualty of war when his ship came under heavy fire and was destroyed. At the age of 18, Kurt fallowed in his fathers footsteps and enlisted in the Republic military, becoming a marine and fighting in battles and skirmishes across the galaxy. Over the years, he kept getting injured from his brashness, and chose to wear heavy armor, getting the most protection. It was unneeded as he was taken up as a very smart individual and was taken under the wing of a starship captain, Captain Amigo. For years, Amigo worked with Kurt, putting him on the fast track to becoming a bridge officer by the age of 30 as a Lieutenant. Kurt stuck with Amigo until the ship Captain became an Admiral a few years later. At the age of 38, at the rank of going from a Captain to a Admiral in 10 years. He had shown exemplary drive and had a flawless service record, so he was pinned as a Captain in charge of a contingent of a destroyer. He led the ship and her troops through many minor conflicts, mainly pirate raids, and sustained minimal losses. in 2 years, he was a Commander in charge of a small flotilla of ships. After a few more years of a flawless record, Kurt was pinned a Admiral. The push was amazing for anyone, flying through the ranks like nothing else and was a fairly young admiral at the age of 45 His biggest failure was when he was a Commander. He was in a barely class M volcanic planet overseeing the assault of a pirate base. It was a huge trap and he was caught from behind by a small but relentless enemy fleet of corvettes and frigates. He lost two ships and many good men out of his flotilla of 7 ships, and the rest of his flotilla sustained damages. At the age of 48 the Sith and Mandalorians attacked once again, and he was pulled in to lead from the front once more, put in charge of many ships by commanding the 12th Attack Squadron across the galaxy. He fought on the front lines, landing troops and protecting them from above. Constantly going on highly specialized, small scale, high-risk operations and open lines for the rest of the military gave him inspiration and he ran up a new special forces group, the 19th Special Tactics and Reconnaissance Battalion. These STAR teams generally had armor similar to what Kurt had and took on the same missions as he did. These STAR teams gained renown for their operations, as did their Admiral commanding these missions. He ran these missions and ran his corps up until the battle of Taris. His forces were deployed under a different Admiral as he was overseeing the 7th battle group in a field promotion, deploying troops to planets that needed help and recapturing planets lost to the Sith. His tactics caught someone's attention as he was pulled from that job and asked to start rolling up plans for a force dedicated to exactly what he has been doing throughout the war. The next five years saw him heavy with work and away from combat as he planned and organized what is now called the 7th Republic fleet, a fleet of around 200 warships and support ships, and total ground military compliment of over 30,000 soldiers, supports personnel, airmen, and everything else needed for a standing military, all bundled up in an expeditionary fleet. The 19th STAR Battalion was also integrated, now becoming the 19th STAR Regiment, taking on a greater Special Ops force able to undertake missions around the galaxy. The Fleet didn't get any action with the Republic/Sith war nor against the Archeri, but after the Battle of Nar Shaddaa the corps was fully spun up and are ready for action. Despite making the 7th Republic from basically nothing, Kurt wasn't meant to command it, but was to have a promotion to a Fleet Admiral overseeing more than just his one fleet. Despite that, he declined and instead took command of his Fleet, waiting until he felt ready to take on a greater roll. |
