Appearance Face Claim • (Credit goes to Adrian Marchidan) Height & Weight • 8’2 / 400lbs Overall Looks • For the most part, EX-5573 resembled near the same as other Executioner droids of his line. It stands over two meters tall, consisting of a machine skeleton of humanoid proportions and additional reinforcing plates of durasteel on it’s main body. The primary metal plates serve as protection for the droid’s main body, from it’s legs all the way towards it’s central dome at the top of it’s head. Significant effort has also been done to layer the external antennae located at the droid’s dorsal side so as to preserve the Executioner’s neural net capabilities. But the changes from it’s standard design where all the more noticeable for it. The metal on the droid had faded, it’s luster gone from the centuries, and rust had been allowed to form on it’s joint segments. Faded blaster marks appear on it’s chassis, superficial marks upon it’s form that 5573 had no reason to fix up or remove. In hidden little segments of it’s armor playing, where no adult hand could reach, were little illustrations written in crayon of a large, friendly, looking tobot and a small twi’lek girl. 5573 had no reason to fix or remove it. Personality Profile With an initial inclination towards precision, emergent tactical thinking, psychological profiling and obedience towards given commands above and beyond even that of others of it’s model, EX-5573 was selected for the CZ-2-17 personality directive. Specifically, EX-5573 was conditioned and selected for termination procedures towards Czerka assets that did not obey the directives of the Main Office. This was a task 5573 did well, and continued to do well, following Directive CZ-2-17 without significant qualms. With the dissolution of Czerka Arms, however, EX-5573 was redirected towards a new purpose. With it’s owner being one of the few beings to escape the dissolution of the company with his life and fortune intact, he was able to repurpose the droid into a personal bodyguard. Without access to the now defunct Czerka directives, EX-5573 was tasked to protect both it’s owner and it’s owner’s family with a personality directive unsuited for the purpose. This new external pressure on the droid forced EX-5573 to adapt within the confines of his programming. Utilizing the psychological profiling and emergent thinking, a focus on understanding the moods of the organics around it, especially those it had been charged to protect, resulted in an enhanced level of empathy unnecessary to it’s new function. Nevertheless, EX-5573 was content. In the present day, following the significant jump in time from it’s last operational cycle and now, EX-5573 is lost. Without a target to hunt or a primary to protect, it is more adrift now than it had ever been. Without a directive to chase, without even a company to return to, EX-5573 wandered the universe, taking what jobs it can to continue subsistance and, for the first time in it’s life, think. Overall History • Created in the Czerka weapons manufacturing plant ‘Krayt’ on Tatooine, CZ-EX-5573 was undifferentiable from the rest of its siblings, and it’s time on the planet was not particularly noteworthy. General directives indicated that before being shipped off to other Czerka locations aruond the galaxy, an introductory training exercise must be accomplished so as to ensure the droid suffered no setbacks. Due to the cost such a facility would bring, Czerka instead chose to set the executioner droids on the local tusken raider population. Contrary to what Czerka would say, even at this basic stage, there are quirks and unusual behaviors that crop up that lay a basic foundation for the droid’s ultimate personality. Droids that question or otherwise refuse their orders have their cores overwritten with more basic, but pliable, personalities. Droids that seemed to have a tendency to overcommit to the destruction of their targets are valued for jobs requiring more ‘robustness’ than discretion. Those that show a level of precision and certainty are employed in cases where such characteristics are valued, such as the accquisition of rival resources. While droids showcasing a level of caution are called in to serve as bodyguards and protectors of high value czerka operatives. Of those, EX-CZ-5573 showcased a level of precision, emergent tactical thinking, psychological profiling and obedience that motivated it’s handlers to install the CZ-2-17 Personality Directive into it’s neural net. This directive marked the droid for operations in internal liquidation, high impact operations and black-ops wetwork. While Czerka had been significantly profitable during the beginning and middle phases of the Jedi Civil War, the defeat of the Sith, and both Jedi and Sith interference into Czerka operations, had left the company into a significant deficit it would attempt to ameliorate within the years after the war. Czerka’s own operations meant that while, oftentimes, those within the upper crust of it’s operations were safe from legal reprisals, local branches were not so fortunate. As a result, most of these branches attempted to fold over to the Republic after the war, giving corporate secrets in exchange for leniency. Also as a result, Czerka wished to silence them. For the next few years, EX-5573 would be directly involved in numerous liquidation projects against these local branches. Typical operations would involve the identification of rogue assets, followed by by a cease-and-desist order enforced by a squadron of Executioners. Civilian offices such as those located within Nar Shadda were relatively straightforward. Militarized branch offices were considerably more difficult, and would involve sieges that would take months. These rogue elements, crushed and forgotten among the dust and ruins of shuttered branch offices and frontier outposts, were sufficient to save the company. Seeing the potential profit and possibilities for the Executioner, the mastermind of the program, a twi'lek by the name of Lorca Bopa, was promoted to the head of Aggressive Operations and meant to use the droids for maximum benefit. CZ-5573 was granted a position of honor for it's initial operations.. Upon Lorca's ascension, the droid protects Lorca from the assassination attempts of rival corporations and jealous rivals within Czerkat itself.. Lorca’s Executioners do well in this task, but of them, Lorca comes to favor 5573 with the most important task. A child, a baby girl, Sus Bopa, was 5573’s to protect, and so it did for the better part of a decade. In this, the droid had less active combat experience, no one would try to kill a child without significant incentive, but despite that Lorca fashions 5573 with the most potent Czerka tech he still had access to, including a set of four ThirdEye drones, each with their own intelligence installed. Armed so, EX-CZ-5573, nicknamed Suzie by the child, protected her for years. Then suddenly, it all goes wrong. While CZ-5573 did not know it, Lorca's position, his cadre of assassin droids loyal only to him, his ruthless intent to ensure Czerka's supremacy, had created many enemies. Too many enemies, both within and without. Lorca and his family are massacred, his personal Executioner droids captured and sold on the black market, while the rest of the droids within Czerka are quietly used until they are spent, with no further production for the droids made in the future. CZ-5573's personality matrix was offlined during this sad, grey, time. He spends the next few centuries jumping from one crime lord to another, both prize and prized tool, as the rarity of an Executioner droid results in it's perceived rarity and value increasing. It is at Nar Shadda that things change. Protecting a hutt from the enroaching Archeri threat, the ship was shot down above the planet's silvery lights, and plunges down to the earth. This destruction reactivates CZ-5573's personality matrix and, for the first time in a long time, is left to wrestle with it's own sapient, sentient, will and the directives hard coded within it's own cores. |
