The Jedi has an athletic body type, marred with small scars and marks from her years near the front line, and on various adventures with her master. Alliera wears her hair in a messily woven bun most of the time. Alliera tends to wear a simple brown sleeveless Jedi tunic when not expecting trouble, though with her blaster strapped to her thigh. Alliera also wears a robe, in and out of combat, but it is an older one that has plenty of wear and tear to it. Personality Profile Alliera is not the typical Jedi, being more at home with something mechanical in her hands, or in the pilot seat of something fast. She's not anti-social, but a near lifetime of dealing with Jedi that didn't quite understand why Alliera tried to learn from her old culture has made it harder for her to connect to people. Alliera is typically a calm and collected woman, who tries to keep to herself outside of a small group of friends. She has a close family connection with the few other Jedi that she grew up with, including her former Master, Smee Tivan. Alliera also has a close connection to troopers and Pilots that she works with, not having to worry about the issues she had with the Jedi Order. Alliera is an actually a very nice woman, even teaching younglings bits about mechanics or science when she's not on a mission. Alliera very much sees the Jedi Order as her family, almost drawn to view them in the same clan-like vein as the Mandalorians she draws her blood from view thier own families. Alliera holds no special love for Mandalore or the Current regime that holds over her birthplace, knowing enough of her origin and the current hunts that she finds her own path based on what she learned. An altruistic sense of honor, grown out of a mix of her study of Mandalorian culture with her lessons in the Jedi Way, guides a lot of Alliera does in the day-to-day. Overall History • Alliera was born to a pair of Mandalorians on Concord Dawn, and for a little while, everything was safe and happy in the Tal'Verda household. Things changed fairly quickly when Alliera's abilities with the force somehow came to be known to the parents. Alliera's parents were rightfully worried about what other Mandalorians would do to the girl, if she was found to be a force user, so they did their best to find some place to send her. Eventually it was decided that they would smuggle the girl to Coruscant, and dissapear, so as to not draw anyone to their daughter. The Parents were able to get the girl into the hands of the Temple Gaurds, but dissapeared when the gaurds tried to bring the pair in for questioning. The Jedi tested the girl, and once it was found she was force sensitive, she was brought into the Jedi Order. When Alliera grew into the order, she discovered her origin from studying various temple records out of curiousity, and decided to study the people she was born with. Even in the beginning, this caused tension with other younglings and even some Knights and Masters, but Alliera was looking for who she was. Due to the social issues, Alliera found her way into the realm of mechanics and metal workers, learning all she could from the people who kept the Temple Operating. Once Alliera learned enough about her born culture, and what they had done and were doing, the young girl was at an empase of how to respond, of who she was. It wasn't until Smee Tivan adopted the girl as his padawan at age 11 that she started to learn who she was, aiding her master in his quests and in battle sometimes. Alliera eventually resolved to be her own person, melding what she learned from the Mandalorians with the ideals of a Jedi. The idea of a Altruistic sense of honor develouped here, as did her prodigious skill in both the Pilot Seat and with all sorts of Blaster Weapons. Alliera even helped her master during most of his investigations, absorbing all she could learn about weapons and martial practices of all sorts, even becoming a very strong Lightsaber user from the time with her master. Eventually though, Alliera passed her trials, and became a Knight. Sense those days, Alliera has helped her master when she could, as well as worked with the Republic Military against both the Sith and the Mandalorians. Her skills have become even stronger, and she's now a high end Knight in service to the Order and Good in the Universe. |
