REPUBLIC TRAITOR ESCAPES MAX. SECURITY PRISON
"30 year old former Republic Army Major Aunna Lumina Borgonia escaped from the maximum security facility on Coruscant earlier today on her way to the firing grounds where she was scheduled to be executed. Reports say that the former major was aided by a man masquerading as a jedi escort. It is rumored that this man was, in fact, the dark jedi that she had saved the life of last month on Nar Shaddaa, and aided by a recon droid that was possibly stolen during the same event, or shortly after.
According to investigators, the dark jedi assumed the identity of former Jedi Enery Winsliyn, who was killed in a crash on the planet of Tatooine, and gained entry to the prison using a forged security code and badge. Once there, he proclaimed to be the jedi escort for the prisoner Aunna Borgonia. A little over half way to the firing range, the dark jedi killed four of the woman's five guards, amazingly allowing one to flee for his life.
"He seemed like any other jedi I'd ever met. He stood up for Miss Borgonia after the captain shoved her to get her moving, then just walked along quietly. He and the prisoner seemed to be on friendly enough terms but she didn't appear to recognize him at all.
It wasn't until he started talking about how he only regretted 'the actions of others when they know better than to do something, but do so anyway' and about his own actions and motives and decisions that any of us started getting suspicious. Then he called her 'little one'...now I've NEVER heard a jedi call someone that who wasn't their student...or that they were attached to in some way or other.
That was when he started up. I didn't even notice the first guy die, he was just dead all of a sudden, then the guy moved on to the next, and then the next. I was so freaked out, I couldn't even move! I swore he was gonna come for me next, but Miss Borgonia stood in front of me, and he just told me to leave if I wanted to live....so....I did...."
The riflemen were alerted to the happenings and swiftly went to aid in trying to subdue and capture the two, however, the recon droid dropped an unknown item which witnesses say was like a cross between a 'flash-bang' and a smoke grenade, blinding them. During this time they were shot from a distance by an unknown party in a still unknown location. Though, the men were injured, the projectiles were rubber tipped and non-lethal, showing the unknown sniper to have no intent to kill.
The two were then seen running for the nearest guard tower and the alarm was sounded. Four teams of men and guard hounds were issued to stop the duo, however, once again the recon droid aided in the escape by using a built in self defense mechanism that, if touched, would result in extreme electrical shock or explosion.
Thanks to the security cameras, the authorities were able to discern what happened next, as all of the guards withing the vicinity have been hospitalized with severe brain damage, and some fatalities. According to the camera feed, the recon droid unlocked the inner door of the compound, then was taken by the former major who vanished into the inner corridor while the dark jedi remained outside blocking the guard's weapons fire. Several moments later, the jedi deactivated one saber and it is presumed he tossed it behind him into the corridor, where the former major used it to cut their way out of the outer door.
Just as it seemed the two were caught, the guards were knocked backward, killed and damaged by what those in the tower could only describe as a 'scream of unimaginable force.' Right when it seemed things couldn't get any more bizarre, the dark jedi, who was seemingly exhausted, was rescued by the very person whom he came to save from death. Returning for him, Miss Borgonia managed to lift and CARRY the man, who by all accounts was taller than herself, out of the compound and to a near by prisoner transport which had been left running by a guard who had just arrived when the alarms sounded.
The stunning escape was then completed as the two humans and the recon droid slipped into traffic and managed to evade the Coruscant Security Forces. The two are still at large, and presumed to still be on Coruscant at the moment. Authorities are staging a full scale search for the couple in all tiers of the city."

"Wow Duharo, despite the situation, I can only wonder what compels the two of them. If I didn't know better, I'd say it was love...but as we all know, Dark Jedi don't love."

But why on earth would he allow so many to live...even giving one guy the option of 'leave or die'! It's contradictory to everything I've heard of them!
