(and we are rolling)
The ship came into the known Republic sanctioned landing sight. Adrian had reluctantly taken on the job as the pilot transporting the trio of force users to the mining planet.
This is Jedi Knight Adrian Yoley requesting landing within your docks.
There was a brief static as Adrian let go of the radio button allowing the person that was undoubtedly receiving his message to respond. As the young Jedi Knight waited the ship hovered in the air. The bigger ships were something Adrian could handle to an extent because while it was harder to turn these ships would need a lot less piloting skill as they were a great deal less maneuverable.
All right Master Yoley, you are cleared for landing in the docks, and may I be the first to welcome you to the Republic planet of Subterrell.
Adrian smiled gently at the comment noticing how the person on the other side of the conversation managed to put in "Republic". It was indeed treacherous territory where the group was. He managed to ease the ship into the now opened and accessible docking bay. The ship's landing gear hitting the surface gently, Adrian released his grip of the controls and stood up.
Well we are here we might as well see what we can do to assist here...

During most of the trip Vex had stayed in the small cargo hold of the ship. Although he was well capable of piloting the shuttle, he still needed time to himself. Most of the time he would meditate or read a datacard he had copied from the Archives. Any other time he let loose three remotes to practice with. He let his bent knees absorb the shock as the ship landed. He quickly snapped up his saber into a high guard as a stunbolt shot towards his head. He waved his hand in a wide arc and shut the remotes down. He knew it was time to work. He clipped his saber to his belt and followed the small corridor to the cockpit. He stopped at the hatch as Adrian got up from the pilots chair.
Let us see what unrest lies beneath the waves my friend.

Zul was sleeping and woke up with shock when he hear Adrian talking to the landing control operator. Zul looked around to survey his surroundings. He got up and walked to where Afrian and Vex has gathered before the hatch.
Iam ready lets get going

Reden Gott has been having a bad day. Not that he expected today to be a good day. There was something to be said for a world where the only light came from panels. It was hard to look on the bright side when you couldn't see the sun.
Gott especially familiar with bad days here on Subterrell. Mostly because he had learned that bad days come as almost a direct result of very good nights. Which, being a Republic officer on one of the poorest worlds in the galaxy, he had many of. He did remark that life was easier when you were the local law. But, after every night out, Reden found that the next day was harder, which made him want a good night. It was a viscious cycle, and he hadn't slept decently since he and his party were stationed here for fortification of the outpost world.
It wasn't the dream assignment he had wanted (He had put in for about a dozen transfers to Ryloth.) But it certainly was an easy job. The planet was perhaps the most difficult one to attack in the galaxy, aside from Coruscant. With winding tunnels that could be locked off or shut down at a moments notice, it was the ultimate sort of Trench Warfare. But, orders were orders, and todays were the ones that would make his days better, but his nights worse.
The Major was being put under the command of a Jedi Knight. The Republic just loved putting them in charge of the army. He had less power, but less responsibilty. All the same, he figured he needed a decent night's sleep. Let the Jedi stay up watching the empty scanners. Nobody was going to attack this world. It was worthless. The only reason the Republic even wanted it was because it was easier to mine because it already had tunnels.
So it was that Major Gott was passing by as the starship landed in the hangar reserved for VIPs. He stepped up to the comm link and greeted the Jedi on board as the airlock closed a thousand feet up.
"Hello, welcome to Subterrel. Enjoy your stay. It's going to be pretty uneventful."

Thank you, as you may have already figured out we are the Jedi party that is to come into control of the forces stationed here. If you would be so kind as to give us a layout of how procedure works on this planet we will take up control so you may rest easy for a while.
Adrian wanted to sound as kind as possible to those Republic soldiers. In truth Adrian probably wouldn't be able to stand more than a month stationed on this backwater planet, after of course he became dreadfully tired of meditation. Not even waiting for a response Adrian exited the ship expecting that the soldiers would get his intent that he was going to meet them in person. Not too concerned that Zul and Vex were following him Adrian walked up to the main door from the hangar. As it slid open he continued through admiring the underground city.

Zul followed Adrian to the hanger and was looking around to see the huge underground city. He was shocked on how big it truely was, he has never seen anything this big underground. He noticed that a small army of milita could hold there ground against a huge army of trained soldiers in this place. He soon wondered why did the council sent Adrian, Vex, and himself to defend Subterrel when they were not even needed. Even thought why would anyone want to waste a army on this planet when the planet wasnt even special in anyway

Major Gott stepped up behind the group and nodded.
"You think it's impressive? Just wait until you reach day five of no sunlight..."
He predicted, motioning for the Jedi to follow. Where he led them next was through the small military outpost, quite eneventful, indeed, until, somewhere after the mess hall, Reden remembered something.
"You three wouldn't happen to be interested in seeing the ground defenses, would you?"
He said, grinning. Subterrell was the only place where "ground" was defined as being a few thousand feet up.

Adrian waved his hands simply wanting the rest after the journey to the mining facility. The young knight had been thinking about the "5th day without sunlight" as perhaps a threat, or a prelude to something that was about to happen. The Sith, what would they want from this planet? Adrian smiled thinking of a very probable reason.
The Dark Jedi would really love this place...a planet of underground tunnels winding every which way. It could possibly be a second headquarters for Dark Jedi besides Korriban. It wouldn't take much to shroud a planet in the Dark Side and even at that the defenses here would be so top knotch that even if Korriban fell the Republic and the Order would undoubtedly have a hard time taking this place.
The young knight broadcasted his thoughts to his Jedi partners choosing not to speak the vocally because he didn't want to put any type of fear into the major. Adrian looked over at Vex, and then to Zul, his new Padawan, finally he turned his sights back to the Major as he continued to lead him through the tunnels.
I'm surprised the Sith haven't taken this place, it would be very easy if they put any effort into it. Well we'll see what happens...
The thoughts were still broadcasted to Zul and Vex as they followed the Republic soldier deeper into the planet.

The group reached what looked like a service elevator as Major Gott came to a sudden stop, turning back around to the Jedi.
"And now for the last stop on our tour, the Surface lift. Come on, now, we don't have much time. I got to get to a pazaak game in half an hour."
He said, opening the doors and stepping inside.

Vex quietly followed as they were given the tour of the facilities. He hadn't said anything since before leaving the ship. He kept his eyes peeled and remained alert. Nothing was ever what it seemed on the surface. Living underground at this outpost seemed to drag the morale of the troops down.
Excuse me Major, but what kind of recreational activities and or facilities do you have around here? That and I was wondering what your timetable was on drills and how often you practiced them. I understand lacking of space here underground.
Vex kept his hands clasped behind his back as they boarded the freight lift. He sent a mental message to the other two.
I might have an idea upon how to start our assessment whether the Sith are here or not. Plus it may boost the morale of these troops somewhat.

Zul heard the mental messages from Adrian and Vex. He was surprised and thought for a moment that he has gone insane but then reminbered that Jedi Knights could read minds and trick the weak minded, so figured that mind messages could be done. Zul didnt have a clue on how to do this, but thought of some words he would say and thought about them deeply.
What......is....... your...... plan
Zul looked at Adrian and Vex to see if they heard his mind message.

Vex faintly heard the message the young one was trying to relay and smiled slightly as the group started to ascend. He reached out in the Force and let it gently touch Zul, letting him know that Vex had understood his question. He sent a message of his own back.
Use your feelings. Feel our presence through the Force. Do this now and try to brush my mind through the Force. You will know when you make contact. Feel the Force flow through you and around you and let it guide your mind to mine.
Vex withdrew his contact from Zul and stood there with a smirk on his face. He could remember when his Master had done the same thing when they first trained together. The only difference was that Zul was not his Padawan, but that would not stop him from teaching the young one the ways of the Force.

Adrian smiled noticing how Vex managed to give Zul a lesson in the force. The young knight wasn't mad seeing as this was his first time training a Padawan. Still Adrian couldn't keep his thoughts on their mental conversation when he noticed that the Major had actually left them.
Adrian raised his hand and motioned the group to follow the major to the ground level defenses. The young knight was getting a little unnerved by the situation. He knew it was nothing, but the utter silence that the tunnels gave...the echo of his shoes along with everyone else's flowing out through the tunnels. Every sound was now crisp and a great deal finer than anything he had ever heard.
Well that would be a lie...because he was a Jedi. To hear the force in its truest form was something that anything tangible would never be able to touch. The definition, the ability for it to catch every subtle nuance and display it 10 fold than what would normally be the case. That was the true form of the force, but these tunnels would provide a cheap version of that.

Vex absently listened as the Major droned on about the outposts ground forces and smiled as the young Zul had his lesson in the Force. He followed along flanking Adrian to the right as they began to board the surface lift.
Excuse me Major, I don't mean to be rude, but I must have not been listening when you were answering my question. Would you be so kind to tell me again please?

"Yes, sorry, about that, but we don't drill here. My group of seven you've already met is the entire military force here. You'd have to check with the militia, though they're not too active."
The Major said as the elevator doors closed with the four inside.
(WE ARE IN THE ELEVATOR!)

Zul just listened to the Major and quickly realized the critical situation. Only 7 true trained soldiers were stationed here only a one squad of troops, Zul did listen to heard about the militia but he never will truly count them as soldiers, as they can be easily frighten and not efficiency as a train soldier. The Sith or any other enemy of the Republic wouldn't have a big problem to capture Subterrel.
As the elevator was moving to their destination, Zul put some thought on Vex's words. He relaxed and felt the force, Did you ...hear.. that, there is only a extremely weak military stationed here. Zul knew that he did a good job on his mind messaging

Vex grimaced at this news, but did not let it show in his posture nor on his face. He felt the vibrations through the grating of the elevator and through the Force. This place was ripe for the taking, with only the three in the elevator able to properly defend it. Vex's gut instinct kicked in and quickly dropped into a defensive mind set. He took the Force and closed it down around himself, sealing himself from his companions and any others that would sense him. He sent one last message before he disappeared in the Force.
I have a bad feeling about this.

(Oh, come now! It's WAY too early for that line. Especially with what's coming up soon. You guys have no idea what you've gotten yourselves into. Man, I love having a Plan.)
When they had reached the top of the lift, the doors slid open, and the four found themselves in a airtight glass bubble positioned on the surface of the planet. From within this bubble, one could see many similar bubbles in the distance.
"No atmosphere." He explained.
"Only way they can get in here is through one of our six entrances. Like I said, it's not a hard planet to defend."
He noted, motioning to the the anti-orbital bombardment controls within the bubble.
