Theon Dement v. UX3-L4 (6 Rounds)

Setting: The alien crowd roared for more blood as the previous contestant stepped out of the ring, covered in scrapes, bruises and blood. A door opens and he walks out, leaving his mangled opponent limp near the edge. Droids came and collected the remains wordlessly. This was the Jako'talata Arena Pit on Coruscant. Hidden miles beneath the city above, deep in the undercity. The few who know about it hold it in high regard, and the champions were few and epic. Suddenly the crowd roars with renewed vigor as a voice announces the next match over the comm. Two doors open at the bottom of the deep walls of the pit, beckoning the challengers forth...

One on side of the arena ground, stood a young jedi padawan. The crowds were roaring. The young jedi looked down to the lightsaber at his side. He reached his right hand over to the left side of his belt and withdrew it. He held it at his side as he examined his opponent. His opponent was a large droid, a bit bigger than him. Theon secretly was slightly frightened at his opponent. He didn't hold back, though. He got out of his outer robe and dropped it to the ground. There was no point for it to be there anyway. Once it hit the ground, Theon moved his foot back, kicking it a few feet back. He gripped his lightsaber. In a flash of Azure, his weapon was ignited. He held his hand up at the droid and attempted to use the force to pull him back. He raised his lightsaber up, ready to attack.

UX3 quickly covered his photo receptors with the large durasteel flaps on either side of his head as the door opened flooding the chamber with light at the cluster of light receptors automatically adjusted to the light he could see the Jedi just now entering the arena and watched as he dropped his robe and ignited his saber as UX3 slowly walked out into the main arena his four legged form of locomotion giving him a strange gate. Sensors began going off in UX3 droid processor as he suddenly began moving forward realizing it must be the jedi he quickly dug in his feet into the sand of the arena floor until the magnetic foot panels struck the metallic floor of the arena stopping the droid slow slide almost instantly. As UX3 finally stopped he looked back at the jedi as his scanners scoured over him, before he opened one of his side panels and fired his magnetic grapple attempting to snag the jedi's weapon.

ROUND 2 IS BEGIN!!!

Theon noticed what the droid had tried to do. It was planning to disarm Theon. The grapple had.. almost hit its target. Instead of it snagging the jedis weapon, Theon had put his arm in front instead. The grapple grabbed onto Theon's arm and pulled off a piece of his robe and some skin on his arm. Theon didn't attack. He got down on the ground and held his arm. He had felt more pain before, so this wasn't as bad. He stood back up. He held his hand up above his wound and used the force to stop the bleeding. He held up his lightsaber once again. This time, he got ready to run at the droid. It was scrap. Nothing but scrap. And Theon was going to treat it like scrap. Theon began running toward the droid. When he got close enough, he jumped in the air and swung his saber horizontally at the droid.

The droid quickly began rewinding his grapple as the jedi lay on the ground while taking several steps froward before backing up as the he relized the jedi was intent on charging him. As the jedi jumped at him, UX3 lifted the rust colored lump of his left arm in hopes of protecting himself as the light saber came across easily severing his left hand and leaving a deep scare in his durasteel chest as his hand dropped in a shower of molten durasteel the droid made a strange sound light metal grating as it spun attempting to clip the still flying jedi with his right arm.

Comments: The grapple was magnetic, therefore it couldn't have ripped off parts of your skin and clothes unless it was partially a claw grapple as well. I'll let it fly without having you redo it, but pay attention later.

Theon attempted to jump out of the way. Luckily, he just bearly made it. He rested his feet on the droid's chest and jumped back about halfway across the arena. He looked back at the droid. His lightsaber had fallen out of Theon's hand back when he was above the droid. It was now next to it, deactivated. Theon couldn't risk losing his weapon for good. Without his lightsaber, he would definitely lose. Theon stopped thinking and dashed forward. He used the force to attempt to hold the droid back as he rolled toward the lightsaber and swept it off the ground. He put his hand on the ground and slid across it. He jumped back up. In another flash of azure, his weapon was ignited. In a second, Theon had swung it at the droid.

UX3 spun as he twisted barely seeing the jedi leap back from him landing with a slight thud in the sand on the far side of the arena before sprinting off towards the light saber setting next too his foot. He could see the jedi sprinting towards the light saber as UX3 spun attempting to grab it with his smaller gripping arms as some out side force slowed him he had barely managed to grab it when the jedi wrenched it out of his grasp and ignited it as UX3 swiped down with his left arm hopping to distract him as he reached out with a smaller shock arm. Both closed in as the jedi's blade began digging into the droid's left leg armor.

Theon jumped out of the way, but landed on the ground [Not on his feet xD]. He struggled to stand up. Once he got up, he held up his lightsaber once again and swung it, not really caring whether or not it'd hit. He ran as quickly and steady as he could to the other side of the arena once again. He bent down on his knees and attempted to recover.

Could he recover in time to react to the droid's attack? No..recovering took far to long...He attempted to stand back up. This will be over soon enough..just stay up long enough to finish it.., he told himself constantly. He examined the droid once again. It was damaged, but not enough to be finished off...not yet. He began running forward again. Once he reached right next to the droid, he put his hand on the ground and slid around to its back. He held up his lightsaber and swung it at the droid's back. "Die.."

UX3 Spun trying to keep track of the cloud of dust behind the jedi the sand sifting slightly from his weight as he twisted dragging his now damaged leg as one of the doors along his cargo bay opened and a gun like fire suppressor water cannon lined up at the jedi as he sprinted around behind UX3, as he closed in on his thinly armored back housing the droid's massive processor unit. UX3 began twisting before listing as his movement caused the damaged fore leg to collapse as the droid began to near the ground as the light saber tore though cooling hoses and lubricant lines, spaying a mixture of a thick viscus liquid and super chilled liquid nitrogen as the droid caught it's fall with it's right arm, it's hand sinking several inches into the stained sand before attempting to roll onto it's back. hoping to trap the jedi behind it, or to bring it into line with it's water cannon.

ROUND V SET... FIGHT!!!

Theon jumped away from his enemy after he swung. He landed on the ground a few feet back. Theon was sweating as he looked for a good place to strike his enemy. He thought about the weak spots of a human enemy. There was the chest, there was the head, there were plenty of places he could strike at. He decided to try the chest, as that was probably where the most important parts were located. He held up his lightsaber. He got up off the ground and dashed forward once again. He held his lightsaber in attempt to plunge it into the center of the droids chest.

UX3 Rolled on its back laying in a frozen puddle of lubricant as he struggled to bring the water cannon around as the jedi began to charge him, but the roll had trapped it under several hundred kilos of durasteel armor loosened from the jedi's slash and the force pull earlier. As the jedi neared he opened the chamber under him gasping inside with his manipulator claws to sling panels and drive components of starfighters at the jedi in an attempt to slow the jedi down as he brought out his multitude of grasper, cutting, shocking, and riveting arms out hoping the jedi would continue as after the flying parts slowed him down, if not maybe UX3 could lift himself back up.

Theon's attack did not hit. Instead, a piece of a jedi starfighter hit him in the stomache, causing him to fall to the side. Luckily, he stopped before he hit the deadly arms of the droid. He got up, holding his stomache. He used the force to attempt to hold the damage in until he finished the battle. He would have more time to recover then. He panted as he held his lightsaber up. This was it. This had to end it. Theon couldn't lose. After all he had been through, losing was not an option... He began walking forward slowly as he held up his weapon. After a few moments of walking, he began picking up speed. After a few seconds he was running as quick as he could toward his enemy. Once he got a good distance, he used the force to try to pull the droid toward him. [After you say whether or not he got pulled]: Once Theon got close enough, he jumped in the air and did a large vertical slash in attempt to cut the droid in two halves.

UX3 could see the man fall as a large chunk collided with his soft lower torso. UX3 struggled to get up as the man began approaching him, finally managing to drag himself up as servos whined under the strain and the repulsor lifts hummed the large round four toed feet on his reamaing three legs digging deep in the frozen slime mixed with sand. As the jedi began sprinting the droid finally managed to free his water cannon from it's entrapment aiming it, but as the jedi used the force to pull UX3 now incapable of stopping his slide on the thick ice once more lost aim. As the jedi lept he once again regained his aim as he fired the water cannon crossing his open shock arm into the spray as the light saber split the droids head and dug a deep furrow down the droid's central torso more liquid pouring out as the light saber split open his primary lubricant storage and caught fire as it mixed with the arcing electricity from severed servos and water, slowly leaking into the sand. As one less jab as the processor shut down it moved one of the droid's vibro saw arms into the path of the jedi as the blade continued it's journey though UX3s chest.
