James didn't know why he had come to Taris it was not a place he would normaly come to but he had felt for reasons he could not explaind that he should stop here before countiueing on to his destination. Taris was not as good as it was before the Jedi Civil War, which he had read about as a youngling, but it was surviving and becomeing what it once was. James was on the ground level hoping to find solatude there, he wore his brown cloak and the hood over his head like he usually did on a mission.
Then a putrid smell reached his nose what could smell that bad.... sowers maybe he thought. Then pushed forward he soon came accross a puddle, he nelt to see what the puddle was, Blood, its fresh he thought to himself then he saw the other person could he be the killer if he was then it would be the Jedi's job to bring him to justis. James stood and removed his hood, the most notale thing about him was the scar down his left eye. Are you responseble for this he said keeping calm and at the ready for what might happen next.

Looking up, Drace scanned the area, tracking any signs of evasion or fleeing that came with monotonous murder. Usually following any criminal act, the next commonsensical stage in action was to possibly find a route for escape. However, due to the succulence of the blood, and still lukewarm temperature of the body, it was safe to assume that the murder wasn’t too long ago, and thus the cause of the young man’s death was still somewhere close.
However before Drace could possibly act, or simply continue on with his night, a rather foreign presence became perceptible in the force. Turning around, Drace noticed a figure standing in the shadows, approaching from behind as if he was stalking the young sith. Taking a stand, with his hooded-cloak consuming most of his figure, Drace stared with a sense of lack of interest, sighing at the comment given off by the new arrival.
“Does it matter…?”

The other man turned to face James Does it matter, was that really all he had to say. he thought. But then again he was right the facts were agains he regardless of what the other man had as an answer. James hoped he could end this peacefull, thats what his master would want. He tought for a moment, deplomace was not his strong suit he was a guardian after all.
If you will not give me an answer the I will have to assume that you were reasonable for this, and I am requred to turn you in. he tried not to sound overly agressive which he was better at then deplomace. He waited a moment then added It is only standered presedure I'm sure that if you are not reasonsable for this then things wiil go smoothly. He hoped thats last bit sounded more deplomatic.

Obviously, the comment in retort to the Jedi’s approach wasn’t acceptable, or exchangeable. However at the moment, Drace couldn’t have cared any less. He felt enough of his day had already been wasted in such a location, and the sheer volume of misfortune wasn’t helping either. Maybe he should have sounded more compelling, or simply as he was “above suspicion” However if the Jedi had any prowess in the area of the force, one presence was surely darker in the immediate district, and it sure wasn’t the officer who stopped Drace.
“ I don’t intend to go anywhere..”

So the man was not going to come James had tried deplomice and it had failed. James felt that a dual was in the vary near future I see well can't say I didn't try to be diplamatic you have made your chose. James said as he takes off his blown cloak and throws it aside and draws his cyan lightsaber. You leave me no chose I will do what I must to bring justice, I will give you one last chance to surender. James took a ready stance and prepared for the inevitable dual to come.
(Sorry for the shortness they will get longer as the dual starts.)

From this point, it wasn’t hard to conclude that the opposition had exhausted his classification of diplomacy, and was now ready for conflict. Honestly, though apathetic, Drace was truly dissatisfied in the lack of discipline and nobility this young warrior held. He attempted to seek peace through a singular question, directed at a stranger, whose only tie to the crime was the ill-timed fact of being at the scene. Evidences shouldn’t have led to Drace, if further examination was developed. However with the presentation of his Cyan Lightsaber, Drace knew full well what this person was.
“Are you willing to waste away your life?”
A rather composed inquire escaped Drace’s lips through the face mask that clouded the Jedi’s eyes from his face. Standing, Drace reached onto his face, and with the influence of the force, the silver handle attached to the top levitated, and ultimately landed in Drace’s raised hand. Igniting the Weapon through the force, the Sith revealed the ominous dark purple of its blade as he stood in an offense Shii-cho stance. Conflict was inevitable. However who would leave alive?

James felt the change in the air the fellling of battle, the hightened sences, the way it felt was something he knew and loved. It wasn't a Jedi like qualitly it was something he had aquried before Master Greyhelm had found him. The other man had asked if James willing to throw his life away, an underestamation in James' oppinon a misstake a Dark Jedi had once made, and he had paid with his arms and legs and most likly his life as James had left the Dark Jedi on Falusia.
Perhaps if you had cooperated then we would not have gotten this far. he said. Then the man reviled a dark purple lightsaber and took the Shin-cho stance, and James relizied that he had Jedi traning. If he was a Jedi then this was a misstake that needed clearing up, but judgeing by his unwillingness to cooperate he could not be a Jedi. Only one option remaned, a Dark Jedi. Ths would complcate things a bit Your a Dark Jedi, if so then I have no chose, I will do what I must. said James as he also took the Shin-cho stance and prepared. This was it a third Dark Jedi this would be a goo dual his intensety would be brought at full force if his opponent felt the honor there was in a good dual then he would not use the Force to attack with if not then he was weak and had no honor. That was James' feelings it was dangerous for a Jedi to feel this way but he enjoyed battle so much.

Speculation was confirmed when the now established Jedi slid into a similar Shii-Cho stance. It was now observable he knew how to properly handle a weapon as deranged as the Lightsaber without self-inflicted harm; and coupled with his attempt at being a gallant, Drace came to the correct, and opportune conclusion that he was facing a Jedi. His rank or status within their faction was unidentified to the Sith initiate. Nonetheless, in terms of age, Drace couldn’t argue the fact that his opponent wasn’t much older them himself. Skill difference was typically granted through the divergence in age. Nonetheless, Drace was an exceptionally talented warrior whose craft was compiled from his raw talent, and sheer volume of strength of mind.
“Cooperation is an expression you should edify yourself on first.”
Drace spoke in his usual mellow tone that was masked in slightly altered beneath the brim of his fall-face mask. Gradually pacing around, dropping his Lightsaber to his side as he stalked the Jedi, the reflection of his flamboyant green eyes giving away the life that had seemingly been portrayed as nothingness from the expressionless Sith. It had been some time since he’d fought someone of such a caliber, and if his skills were plentiful as his buoyancy, this battle would surely be worth the commotion and false culpability.

I was never good at deplomacy. James said as a responce to the words of the man across from him. It was clear now that he was a Dark Jedi. The last time James had faced one it was older then he and made the critacal misstake of underestamating James which had cost the Dark Jedi both his arms and legs. Now James was facing another Hopefully he will not underestamate me he thought to himself.
Then he noticed his opponet drop his lightsaber to his side was it a trap or an opening. He did not want to fall in to an opponets trap so easly but if he attacked from his current stance into the Ataru form then he would catch his opponet off guard if only for a moment. As we are about to dual out of respect perhaps it is best to at least know each others names, for the sake of an honorable dual. I am James Talen he said with a slight bow of his head, but he kept his eyes on his opponet to watch for any attack. If the man accepted the offer to introduce himself the dual would begain after that if not it would start now ether chose was fine by James battle was the one place he found true peace after all.
(OOC: My character almost sounds more dark then light doesn't he.)

He moved, yet it felt as if his steps were lethargic, and his body, fazing in and out of existence as if he was in slow-motion. His muscles were relaxed, and his breathing was rather regulated to be blunt. As the Jedi continued on in their rather succinct and insincere conversation, one thing become more and more evident to Drace which each word that leaked boorishly from the “Protector’s” mouth. That being his lust and hunger for combat. This was an ignorant frame of mind to hold, especially in the field of the Jedi. Drace was surprised he hadn’t been psychologically tested. However he’d be dead soon so it didn’t matter.
“ My name is Drace Jager…. Jedi.”
The expression released directly attacking his status rather than his actually name was symbolic of the lack of respect the young sith held for the battle hungry Jedi. This match would be rather quick, and he didn’t need to waste any more time on such a planet. When the Jedi attacked, which he would; Drace would act consequently and dismantle his opponent. Coincidentally, he was good with masking his bodily readiness. It may have looked as if he lowered his guard, but all the while, Drace was well on top of his game.

Intoductions are done now the dual can trully begain, the atmosphere has changed the feel you only find on a battlefield. A feeling any solder knows that beep breath right before the plunge. There was something about the was Drace had made his introduction it was like an air of impatcence. He must have been tired of waiting as if this was holding him up from something important. James knew he wanted this over quickly, of cource James did to but not at the expence of a costly underestamation.
He was loose you can't fight if your not, not with out making a misstake. Who would make the first move him or Drace which everone did the other would have the mental addventage unless you could suprise your opponent and James knew how he could do just that. It was some thing he had been working on for some time now, going from Shii-Cho stance strait in to an Ataru attack. The wait was over now it was time, something snapped inside James, his intensity took over and with out hesatation that could give away his attack, prepeled himself forward from Shii-Cho to Ataru.
In this form his intensity thrived thats why he liked it so much. He would lounge forward in a kind of barrel roll with his lightsaber in attack pasition he would try to hit Drace but give himself enough force to pass Drace as the attack meet flesh or lightsaber then land and prepare to continue the dual.

Just as he stood in place, Drace had already documented several details about his opponent that would potentially play a key role in his defeat in the near future. His was intolerant, and held the atmosphere of someone who enjoyed the thrill of combat more-so then the mellitus comforts of meditation like most Jedi perfected. His approach towards certain matters was truly divergent to the organization he belong to. Which truly spoke to the discipline and aristocracy the Jedi order possessed into today’s society. Nonetheless, this difference in attitude wouldn’t save him, for he was still a Jedi, and like his brethren would soon experience in time; he would meet the end of Drace’s Lightsaber.
He lunged in; entering into what seemed to e a barrel roll of sorts, exerting flexibility and keen body control as he pressed forward lightsaber ready in hand. Leaping back, Drace propelled his body backwards as Jarod approached; sliding through the air as he scarcely bypassed the cyan edge that was moving towards his frame. Landing promptly on the ground, Drace didn’t vacillate for his next move as he pushed off the cold floor covering, lunging at his Jedi counterpart with ample speed and balance.
Dragging his lightsaber up, Drace moved his pulsating beam in an upwards arch, attempting to strike his foe, using the period of recuperating from his belligerent offense to hopefully land a blow. However leaving enough room and adaptability for his wrist, just in case he needed to change the trail of his attack, terminating offense to form a solid defense..

James came close but not close enough it would requre more. This was good in his mind as he did not want a boring dual but a full and exciting one. Of cource extiment ment near misses, and misses were a luxury in battle. He would need to press his attack, the Ataru form allowed for that.
James may have missed but Drace appeared to want more he lunged at James swinging upward. Perfect James thought to himself this could work in his favor. He propeled himself forward into a flip he would meet his opponents blade and let momentum carry him over Drace's head then go into the offence that Ataru was known so well for with all the spins, flips, and rolls. He would press his attack with the full force of the form, and he would have to finish this quickly because Ataru will eventualy cause him to tire. He needed to end this as quickly as possable if he didn't he could lose this dual.
