The Force.
The exuberant life-force that surrounds and penetrates every living thing. Here in this nexus, a final resting place and home to a strong legacy of Jedi history, it's uncorrupted serenity leaped and bounded with the embracing winds rushing through the silent, glim-lit valley. Glowing green mushrooms gave a sentient feel as if the flora moved of it's own accord; it was as if the Force's aura gave purpose to the vegetation here that so vibrantly radiated it's ability to live.
On the far-side of the valley, a lone, humble-robed figure moved towards the tall, abandoned structures that stood atop massive bowled platforms made of flora, whose roots snaked back towards the ground in weathered tendrils, as if they were anchoring the venerable buildings to the ground by their own will. His weighted field boots took him away from the outer rim of the enclosed valley as Jedi Knight Ryke Torus' gaze centered on the building before him, not forty yards across a simple, yet aged bridge made of rusted durasteel that seemingly glowed with the same substance that encapsulated the flora around him. Small thuds sending miniature shock-waves across the old bridge, Ryke's figure slowly strode towards what he had identified as the old Enclave's archives, noticeable only by it's ability in easily being the highest of all the old buildings. Although it was a suspension bridge and made with ornate quality, time had taken it's tole on the pathway Ryke took to his objective. Far off, he could see the main citadel, dead center in the dead silent valley. His ship waited for him there, and soon enough he would be off this planet, albeit losing the sense of peace he had found here.
Wind rushed over Ryke's face as he made it across the bridge, a cold breeze rushing over his toned face and throwing off Ryke's hood, revealing a young face with a hint of experience behind it's eyes. Above, the sounds of birds served to augment his audio background with nature songs. Quickly, his mind glanced back into the briefing he had taken above orbit. The mission was simple, the cause was pure; he would make his way to the Enclave's former archives, where he would upload whatever remained of it's former, once great library to the Jedi diplomatic ship waiting in orbit. Afterward, he would retrieve the Jedi holocron inside the main Citadel before finally leaving this place and letting it rest to the sands of time. The library. Turning back to the task at hand, Ryke entered the structure, his penetrating glance gazing upon row after row of ruined holo-books. His head looked upwards, taking notice of a spiral stair-case that surrounded at least three more levels of holo-books. However, the serene view wasn't very promising. A single blue flicker remained at the top of the tower, a light amongst shadows playing with Ryke's senses.
At least not everything's gone to hell.
Making his way towards the beginning of the spiral stair-case, Ryke stopped dead in his tracks as a some-what corrupted life-force entered the farthest reaches that his senses could detect, a seeming black hole amidst a pure ocean of the light-side of the Force. At the center of this emptiness, there was an almost disciplined hate and anger radiating form it. Tendrils from Ryke's mind snaked out into the wonderful chaos of the flora, reaching out as if to touch what-ever had invaded this former Jedi sanctuary. He felt the figure recoil at his probing and promptly conceal it's presence from him, realizing it was not alone in this deserted place.
The archives will have to wait. Whatever this is, it must be dealt with.
Pulling his hood up and checking to make sure his light-saber was still on his utility belt, Ryke pushed off with the Force and leaped up to the open, circular second floor of the archives. Landing near a balcony entrance, he moved to the over-look the open-top suspension bridge he had passed from, crouching with a silver light-saber hilt in his hand.
Reaching out again, Ryke failed to comprehend the presence of the figure again across the bridge. Whatever it was, it did not want to be sensed. Taking out a pair of electrobinoculars from his pack, Ryke flipped a simple switch before again scanning the bridge, this time with a visual tool.
Bingo.
His eyes locked onto a single, black-clothed figure walking towards the bridge, obviously unafraid of Ryke; however, unbeknown to his adversary, the feeling was mutual. His hair was a bright silver sheen, and even from this range Ryke could tell this force-adept was slightly taller than himself. He wore no robes, and two simple, un-adorned light-sabers were attached to either side of his belt. An odd-looking cross embraced his neck, and two crimson-gloved hands served to complete his appearance. Right then, it automatically hit Ryke that this was either a Dark Jedi or some sort of Sith.
What is this perversion? A Dark Jedi here, of all places?
By now, Ryke could tell that the figure had spotted him. Gliding down with the Force to slow his fall, Ryke jumped down from the balcony before walking towards the bridge at a slightly fast pace, his hand on his light-saber. His toned voice called out to the figure, whose pace did not change with Ryke's final visual appearance.
Igniting a bright yellow light-saber, the Force surged in Ryke as he prepared for the inevitable. There would be parley today; no, this Dark Jedi was interested in the same goal as Ryke, and only one would leave this place. His light-saber slashing through part of the suspension bridge's support, he ripped the large bulkhead free from it's ancient anchoring and hurled it towards the figure before forming his hands and sending a strong force blast with no time in between at the figure saw the bulkhead coming. Striding towards the figure with light-saber in hand, Ryke moved into an Ataru stance in preparation.

Like a shadow he moved through the fungal forest and the ruins. "What a dump." he said to himself as a wall fell to dust after a light touch. The once great Jedi temple did not impress Rajjdan. But the fungal forest did. He loves the majesty and power of nature, especially fungus. He strode through the ruins, noting how much had been reclaimed by the forest. Now if only he could find that Holocron.
Two days ago he had intercepted a lightly encrypted transmission that was going to a Jedi Knight. Finding it easy enough to decrypt, he listened in as the Jedi Master ask the Jedi to retrieve data from an old Jedi Temple and retrieve a valuable Jedi Holocron. A wicked smile crawled across Rajjdan's face as he thought of the knowledge the Holocron could give him. Checking his navcharts, Rajjdan realized he was just 5 parsecs away. He quickly flew to the planet, arriving a day ahead of the Jedi.
He had spent hours in the remains of the library, downloading some useful looking information but not finding anything of particular value. After that he destroyed the library, using his lightsabers to destroy all the terminals and the data-banks. Rajjdan then started to look for the Holocron. While searching through the remains he found many hidden caches, supply rooms, and other hidden rooms filled with credits, crystals, lightsabers, and relics of various kinds of importance, but not the Holocron. Then Rajjdan found a secure room that was still in good condition, with a still functioning shield array preventing access, and the use of Rajjdan's lightsabers to cut his way in. And then the Jedi arrived.
Rajjdan only became aware that the Jedi had arrived when he felt him sensing the area. When he felt the Jedi's aura touch him, he immediately suppressed his presence in the Force, but it was too late. Not only was the Jedi here, the Jedi knew he was here. Rajjdan whispered a few profanities under his breath. He quickly started to moved through the Temple towards where he felt the Jedi's presence. As he came to a bridge he saw the Jedi.
Robed, hood up, hiding his face, how typical Jedi.
He walked calmly towards the Jedi, feeling no fear, and sensing no fear in return. He smiled and tugged on his crimson gloves a bit, making sure they were nice and tight.
Good, he may just be a challenge.
As he came to the bridge he kept his considerable senses open, as his Miraluka master had taught him. As the Jedi cut a huge hunk of metal from the bridges support and hurled it at him, Rajjdan sensed a bundle of force energy following the metal. Igniting his longer, left hand rainbow saber, he deftly cut the metal in half, making it fall to either side as Rajjdan spun, thrusting his right fist into the Force Blast, dispersing the energy. The bridge lightly shook with the energy wave. Seeing the young Jedi in his Niman stance, Rajjdan ignited his second, silver lightsaber and moved into a Jar-Kai stance with a smirk. "Come little Jedi, shall we dance?"
Rajjdan felt a shiver of excitement flow up his spine. This could be an interesting fight indeed.

Round 1
Kuhblam: Effort: 4/5 (Good effort, I'd like to keep the first round kind of low on average, so this is a good sign. :3 Impress me with the next one! Fairness: 5/5 (Easiest one xD You didn't do anything I saw as unfair, good job.) Detail: 4/5 (Excellent detail! I could really see what the character saw through your writing!) Coolness: 4/5 (Awesome! I loved your throwing the bulk head, I had this awesome imagine in my mind! Good job!) Bonus: /2 (Just keeping it open!) Comments: All around a good post! Fun to read, and can't wait to see what happens next!
Danthien: Effort: 4/5 (This is usually where I start out for first posts anyway, so don't get too worried xD It was a good post as welll!) Fairness: 5/5 (Same as above!) Detail: 3/5 (Your detail wasn't bad! It was just a little under Kuhblam's I thought! Almost not enough to warrant a different score, but it was just enough. I thought he deserved a little more, but you can definitely still bring it back around!) Coolness: 3/5 (Same as detail, this was good, but I felt as if Kuhblam did more towards the fight! Rajjdan did slice the bulkhead in half, which was cool, but he didn't do anything more! Still, you guys could go either way at this point! Don't give up just yet!) Bonus: /2 Comments: Overall good post, a little work and you guys would be neck and neck! Its still anyone's battle, so go for it kiddo!
Total:
Kuhblam - 17 Danthien- 15

Ryke's opening light-saber combat stance didn't waver a bit as a long-handled light-saber shot from the abomination's hip to his crimson-gloved hand and slashed through the large durasteel bulkhead with a rainbow-colored blade before spinning 360 degrees to force his free hand in a fist shape into the force blast and disperse it's raw energy as if the attack was nothing but thin air. A slight, unimpressed smirk adorned Ryke's hooded face as he watched his opponent in turn create a wild, yet undisciplined evil grin of his own just for kicks. A second light-saber soon entered the Dark Jedi's hand, this time a silver blade igniting to match his other blade. A Jar'Kai stance then followed suite as the foe prepared for unconventional combat. At least I'm not facing some play thing. That last one on Anx Minor had the same wild grin."Come little Jedi, shall we dance?"A blatant and brutish attempt at taunting only left Ryke's mind with even more focused concentration than he had previously tried to attain. His gaze narrowing to focus heavily on his sole quarry and target, Ryke slowly started to approach the Dark Jedi, his light-saber in hand as he left his opening stance. His mind was already computing dozens of different ways with which to combat his fallen adversary. Perfect match up of styles. He'll have trouble defending against solitary heavy strikes with a blade in each hand. I've got to get one of those blades out of his reach.Utterly quiet and ready for anything, Ryke's mouth barely moved a muscle as he uttered three defiant, typical Jedi words that had more power than any combination of weapons. "So be it."(OOC: Que Duel of the Fates ) Spinning his burning, bright yellow blade in skillful figure eights for a few seconds as he started to build up in a running speed and gain momentum, the Force aided Ryke as he continuously gained more and more power behind his sprinting. His feet carried him like clouds floating through the skyline, and he came upon the Dark Jedi, it was obvious that there would be no stopping his charge. Launching himself into the air and gaining power for his opening strike with a Jung Ma maneuver, Ryke made a complete 360 degree spin counter-clockwise as he landed directly in front of the white-haired fool and slashed heavily for his left side, connecting with his foe's longer Rainbow blade and sending fiery sparks to bounce across the durasteel bridge. Unable to hold back Ryke's heavy initial blow, it nearly took his opponent cleanly off as his feet as the power that Ryke had maintained in his charge surged kinetically through his light-saber strike. Using one of the many simple tricks up his sleeve, Ryke almost automatically changed to Form I Shii-Cho, much more simple in nature yet confusing when an opponent was expecting more elaborate strikes. His yellow-blade made slow, heavy strikes and parries as he simply battered the dual blades away and assaulted the Dark Jedi relentlessly. To Ryke, there was no tactics here; his opponent had made a major error in using dual blades against a single opponent. Spinning clock-wise to switch back to his standard Ataru style and throw off his opponent, Ryke was almost too close for any sort of effective blocking of attacks. A quick force-augmented push by Ryke however seemed to have no effect as the Dark Jedi dispersed it and instantaneously started his own quick striking offensive while seizing the advantage, using Ryke's loss of momentum from utilizing the Force and not following through with more strikes against him. Forced back several feet by the Dark Jedi, Ryke barely had time to jump up with the Force and pull a Sai maneuver to avoid being legless for the rest of his entire life. A kick to Ryke's armored chest slightly threw him off balance as he sent a last resort force blast against the white-haired human and threw him backwards fifteen yards, where he appeared on his feet totally unharmed albeit exhausted from Ryke's initial barrage. A brief respite before beginning his counter-attack in the usual game of cordial strikes and exchanges, Ryke breathed in the cool, light-side aura force power that surrounded and penetrated him, relieving him off of any possible stress as he closed his eyes for a brief moment and regained his concentration after losing himself in the aggressive nature of light-saber combat. Moving back into the traditional Ataru stance, Ryke swallowed in a deep nostalgic breath as he stood parallel with the Dark Jedi, the pure, uncorrupted power of the Light Side surging through Ryke's body in conjunction and opposition to the corrupted, evil black-hole that gave purpose and unrefined strength to his adversary. A quick taunting call from Ryke to his foe ended the quiet intensity as they started to circle each other. He could sense the over-confidence in his adversary dissipate but reform some-what as both men regained their composure to continue the fearsome showdown taking place. "Your arrogance blinds you! You seek easy prey and I sense your craving for power! You'll find nothing of the sort here, abomination! Leave this place!"

Rajjdan enjoyed the look on the Jedi's face when his taunt only made him more focused. Good. Unfocused Jedi were quick and boring to kill. He could tell that the Jedi was thinking what most Jedi wielding a single blade think when they see his Jar-Kai style. How wrong they were all proven.
Let the fool believe I can't block heavy strikes, it will give me the advantage after his inevitable barrage.
Then the Jedi spoke those three classic Jedi words.
"So be it."
Rajjdan's maniacal grin grew wider at the Jedi's resolve. Oh how the Jedi would regret those words.
As the Jedi ran forward, twirling his blade in figure-eights, Rajjdan felt waves pumping through the Force. The Jedi was prepping some serious power as he speed faster than a swoop bike towards Rajj across the bridge. When he was less than 50 feet away Rajjdan realized that it would be near impossible to stop his assault without some Force application. In the moment the Jedi launched into the air, Rajjdan's battle face came on, a steely nothingness swept over him. No emotion. No Anger. Just pure focus. Emotions would be used when needed.
The Force whispered. Rajjdan listened. He almost saw where the Jedi's strike would go in the last instant before he came down in front of Rajjdan, spinning counter-clockwise to attack Rajjdan's left side. At the last moment Rajjdan focused the Force around his left arm as he blocked the powerful strike. His arm did not give way, but the strength of the blow moved Rajjdan's entire body a few centimeters to the right, almost knocking him off his feet.
What power! Have I finally met a worthy opponent?
During the Jedi's follow-up barrage of heavy blows and parries, Rajj noticed the change in the Jedi's stance. Shii-Cho! So subtle in the transition, Rajjdan realized he almost moved to block an expected Ataru strike, which would have left him open to the more simple Shii-Cho blows coming at him. But the Master had prepared Rajjdan for such deceptive trickery. There was no hesitation in Rajjdan as he parried and dodged every strike with the least amount of movement, never taking the full brunt of the Jedi's attack, because that would be death with each hand occupied with their own lightsaber. Even though the Jedi was so close to Rajj, he never lost his calm, he deflected every strike and made his own offensive during the fray.
Again the Force whispered, again Rajjdan listened as best as he could while under attack. Rajjdan sensed that the Jedi was about to switch back to Ataru with a clockwise spin followed by a Force push. Like before, Rajjdan merely punched into it, pouring a tiny portion of his own power right into the nexus of energy, redirecting its power out harmlessly. From the punch Rajjdan flowed flawlessly into his own barrage, sensing an opening in the Jedi's stance. He expected the Force push to work, and give him valuable time to prepare. Life was never that simple. Furious. Graceful. Deadly. Such was Rajjdan's assault against the Jedi, bringing dozens of strikes against the Jedi, who could just keep his defense absolute enough to block every strike. During the barrage, Rajjdan managed to make several Shim maneuvers, intending to taunt the Jedi, but Rajjdan did not know of the Jedi's Phrik armor underneath his robes. The barrage ended with two powerful Double Strike, one brought down on top of the Jedi, forcing his Lightsaber high above, followed by a swift spin down, bring his two Lightsabers in a Double Strike against the Jedi's exposed legs. The Jedi jumped in a Sai maneuver, keeping his legs intact, but leaving him open to a reverse side-kick to the Jedi's chest, sending him flying as he launched an unexpected Force blast at Rajjdan. Because of his body position, Rajjdan could not expunge the blast like the ones before, sending him flying fifteen feet away. Using the Force to manipulate himself in the air, Rajjdan spun like a top, his Lightsabers a furious blur of light before he landed, sliding backwards as he stabbed his right lightsaber in the ground, slowing his slid quickly. He stood up afterwords, twirling his right lightsaber once before looking back at his opponent.
During the respite, Rajjdan let the Force flow through his limbs, rejuvenating them after all the impacts of the last minute. Rajjdan sensed the Force aura of the place, so pure and clean, flow into the Jedi, relieving him of his own tensions. As he looked upon the Jedi he saw that all of his Shim strikes had gone unnoticed. The Jedi's Lightsaber resistant armor had done its job wonderfully. Rajjdan wondered if the Jedi would even notice the holes in his robes on his arms and legs.
Rajjdan too felt the parallel between them. the man was a beacon of Light, arrogant in his righteousness. Rajjdan filled with Darkness, that gave him such power. Rajjdan once again allowed himself to grin, the fight was too much fun not to. The Jedi was a worthy opponent. Even though Rajjdan's absolute confidence in his ability to win had wavered, he knew that he hadn't yet unleashed his full power. This fight was not yet over, and when it does end, Rajjdan would surely stand victorious. The Jedi then taunted Rajjdan.
"Your arrogance blinds you! You seek easy prey and I sense your craving for power! You'll find nothing of the sort here, abomination! Leave this place!"
Arrogance? Easy prey? The Jedi was the arrogant one, assuming what Rajjdan was like. Rajjdan had never met another Dark Jedi, so he assumed the Jedi believed he was like others he had met before. And he would most certainly not leave.
Rajjdan leaped forward, his calm battle face resuming its place, crossing the distance in a single jump as he brought his blades down on the Jedi. He used his forward momentum, rolling over the Jedi while their blades were connected, spinning clockwise as he landed behind him, bringing another Double Strike as he spoke to the Jedi.
"You're the arrogant one, Jedi. Do not make presumptions about me when we've only just met. I seek not easy prey, nor will I not find what I seek for I have found it. A worthy opponent to test my skills. I am Rajjdan Trillvan, and I would ask your name, Jedi, so that I may always remember this fight."
As he spoke he kept of the barrage, using his duel blades to their greatest advantage, always attacking from two different sides, high and low, right and left, but still the Jedi blocked, deftly maneuvering around to face Rajjdan. After using another sweep, forcing the Jedi into another Sai, Rajjdan Force Jumped away, shooting a huge blast of Force Lightning as he did, keeping an eye on the Jedi to see exactly how he would block it, as he had no doubt the Jedi would. But whether he used the Force to absorb it or his lightsaber to deflect it would tell much about him.
As Rajjdan landed, he launched his own Force Blast, a small bubble of energy aimed not at the Jedi, but the ruins above him, obliterating the ruins and causing them to shower down on the Jedi.

Round 2 Kuhblam: Effort: 4/5 (I loved your word choice this time, it was excellent! I almost gave you a five simply because of that! :3 However, I think it warranted no extra points) Fairness: 5/5 (Nothing I could see wrong here!.) Detail: 5/5 (Good job, I loved the word choice, and it was definitely full of excellent examples of detail.) Coolness: 3/5 (It was just a standard lightsaber duel post, while it wasn't uninteresting, it could have been spiced up with something :3 ) Bonus: /2 (ditto as last time!) Comments: Good post, a little less than last time, but still good :3 Danthien: Effort: 5/5 (Good job! I think I got a little better effort out of this one than the last time, but don't think this gives you a 'be lazy for a post' free card. I'm not afraid to drop this down!) Fairness: 5/5 (Same as last time :3) Detail: 4/5 (You detail was much better this time! Keep this level up, and maybe even surprise me a little!) Coolness: 4/5 (It was cooler than the last one, and an improvement. You didn't just stick to a standard duel, you added something more than just block/parries. Try something really crazy next time, the both of you!) Bonus: /2 Comments: Keep it up guys, you guys are on a pretty even playing ground at this point! Total: Kuhblam - 34 Danthien- 33 So close! Danthien is catching up, and it might turn the other way! I want to see some bonus up there, so totally just throw me an epic post. Anyway, next round begins...now.

(OOC: You guys still playing Duel of the Fates? ) "You're the arrogant one, Jedi. Do not make presumptions about me when we've only just met. I seek not easy prey, nor will I not find what I seek for I have found it. A worthy opponent to test my skills. I am Rajjdan Trillvan, and I would ask your name, Jedi, so that I may always remember this fight."Jumping upwards with a Sai maneuver after dodging a quick twin strike to his legs, Ryke's eyes focused on his blade as the Dark Jedi leaped away several yards back before projecting a screeching tendril of lightning at Ryke, sheer dark side energy hurtling towards him. Deftly de-igniting his light-saber and shaping his hands about as if to send a force blast towards his adversary, Ryke focused the Force through his armored hands and outstretched them towards the lightning, which collided with his armored gloves. Focused Light Side energy met raw Dark Side energy as Ryke's planted stance was slightly pushed back against the surface of the bridge, the lightning pushing him back several centimeters as it failed to penetrate an invisible barrier that was taking up a lot of Ryke's energy to maintain. Breathing heavily and exhausted, Ryke's eyes squinted from the bright glare of the lightning as he began to absorb the energy into a spherical shape, forming the crackling lightning with his hands like a baker kneading dough. His gaze beyond caught the Dark Jedi as he landed with a heavy thud. However, instead of continuing the huge rope of lightning like Ryke had expected, he instead shot a concentrated force blast upwards to break apart the weakened roof of the durasteel bridge, cracking it across the span of the area above Ryke and sending massive pieces of metal and rock to shower down upon him with the intended purpose of crushing him. Looking upwards, Ryke bent down on one knee as he finished his over-powering of the lightning and absorbed it to empower his own force blast. His hands crackled with energy as he became exhausted by the sheer power need to focus what he was attempting to do. At the last second, Ryke shot the force blast hurtling upwards, blasting an enormous crooked hole through the falling ancient debris as it fell around him and shook the integrity of the bridge to it's core. His robes and hood became clouded in dust as he used what remaining power he had left to shove away rebounding rocks. As the dust settled and Ryke's eyes ceased to be blinded, he crouched on one knee as he waited for a moment to regain his strength. Sufficiently pleased that he had not been crushed or better yet fried to due to a backfire of his plan, Ryke shot upwards over the top of ten foot or so rock well that had formed in the center of the bridge. Landing on his feet and brushing the dirt away from his tattered robes, he smiled as an unhappy Rajjdan stopped grinning at the site of Ryke's persona having appeared before him. In a taunting form of bravado, Ryke threw back his hood and revealed his face for the first time, allowing the Dark Jedi to gaze upon someone equal in age who had escaped from his clutches. His words seemed to implant artificial anger in Rajjdan's eyes and supplement what Ryke could sense was a severely growing irritation at being unable to close out the fight.. "All too easy."In truth, the words were hardly accurate. Ryke was exhausted beyond recognition, his robes were torn beyond repair, and his former confidence had been slightly eroded. But for a talented and extremely lucky Jedi who had just escaped being crushed under ten tons of rock yet still maintained a boyish grin, it hardly mattered when the opponent was flustered beyond relief. The Light Side of the Force returning to his side, Ryke focused on the twin opposite supports on either side of the opposite end of the now roofless bridge, where Rajjdan was nearest. He could sense that the stilts were extremely weak due to the stress from the rock shower that Ryke had created; it would not take much to wrench them free from the rock wall they were implanted in. The fact that these stilts were made with natural wood from the surrounding area for ornate purposes like much of the ruins made Ryke's quick-thinking plan even better. With a visual reference as his aid, Ryke reached out with the Force to rip apart and weaken the supports away from him. A twisted smile exerted itself on Ryke's face as he wrenched apart one, then two of the decaying supports on the far end of the bridge. As the bridge began to collapse from the other side, Ryke leaped backwards by a medium length distance, trusting his instincts correctly as he landed with a major thud at the very edge where the rock wall connected to the bridge. Losing his footing and temporarily stumbling, Ryke regained his composure as he turned to face the collapsing bridge. Igniting a burning yellow blade, he looked slightly downwards to see a sprinting Rajjdan trying to make it to his side in time before the bridge ripped off it's hinges from Ryke's side as well. Behind the Jedi Knight, the spire of the archives awaited him if only he could pull this off trick. Backing up slightly as he moved away from the bridge and into the archives spire, Ryke prepared himself by moving into his standard Ataru stance in case Rajjdan did pull a miracle and jump up from the soon to be falling bridge. If he makes it off that, I'll be impressed. Then again, the rocks from his previous attack will be rolling down at him. He'll have a fun time getting past that.

(OOC:actually I'm playing DJ Issac's Start the Beat :3)
Rajjdan took note of how the Jedi had turned off his lightsaber, using his hands to catch and knead the energy with refined skill. To Rajjdan this meant that despite the Jedi's skilled lightsaber combat, he still took immense pride in his Force abilities. It also meant that most Force abilities would be useless against him if he's not distracted, just like it was for Rajjdan when he easily expelled the Jedi's previous Force Blasts, meaning he was an even more worthy opponent. But there it was, the Jedi was distracted with the energy, keeping it from destroying him meant he almost didn't see the rubble coming to fall on him. Because of the dust Rajjdan didn't see the Jedi channel the energy up, saving him. Rajjdan had started to let himself grin with success when he sensed the Jedi leap out of the hole he had put in the rubble. Robes tattered and covered in dust, his armor now visible underneath, the Jedi pulled back his hood revealing his face with his own grin, taunting Rajjdan.
"All too easy."
The Jedi's taunt filled Rajjdan with anger. The edges of his silver-blue eye's irises tinged yellow, a sign that Rajjdan was starting to channel more of the Dark Side. Rajjdan believed he had been polite, respectful even. He had told the Jedi that he was a worthy foe, and had even offered his own name before asking the Jedi's, and the Jedi had merely taunted him. If Rajjdan had not been aware of Odan-Urr's teachings and hadn't already met several Jedi, Rajj might have assumed that all Jedi were so pompous.
What pissed Rajjdan off even more was that he could sense that the Jedi's words were anything but true. Rajjdan could feel through the Force just how exhausted the last few moments had been for him, and yet the fool still acted haughty and proud.
Distracted by his anger, Rajjdan realized almost too late that the Jedi was destroying the Bridge. As the supports broke off and the Bridge started to fall, Rajjdan watched the Jedi jumping backwards to safety. Even more rage flowed through Rajjdan as he observed this. Blasted Jedi, too scared and tired to fight so he destroys the bridge! Rajjdan thought to himself as he channeled the Force through himself, sprinting forward as the large bridge tilted, already the supports on the other side were straining to hold onto the bridge. As the bridge passed the 45 degree angle point, the debris that Rajjdan had created started to slide towards Rajj as he ran. With a twirling side flip, Rajj avoided the rubble, now sprinting along the thin hand rail like a tightrope. Almost across, Rajjdan saw the Jedi's Ataru stance, which meant trying to jump over him probably wouldn't work. As he ran, looking at the cliff face the Jedi was standing on, Rajjdan thought up a plan. Rajjdan put his lightsabers back on his belt, not needing them for the plan.
(OOC: alright, here comes the EPIC!!!!!! >:3)
Rajjdan's eyes turned completely yellow as he channeled the full power of the Dark Side. Instead of jumping like the Jedi probably expected, Rajj spun around the bridge, planting his feet on the bottom of the nearly vertical bridge. Launched himself into the cliff face, about twenty feet below the Jedi. Huge cracks ran up the cliff, taking the entire cliff, bridge, and a few nearby ruins down into the ravine with a devastating roar of smashing and sliding stone. Rajjdan, to avoid being crushed had to go with the rubble, ataching himself onto the bottom of the huge piece of rock as it slid off the cliff. Using the Force to stay attached, constantly having to leap back onto the major part as chunks peeled off, Rajjdan ran around the large spinning hunk of land around to where the Jedi was using the Force to cling to the chunk of land as well. He saw the Dark Jedi coming and despite whatever confusion he had over what was going on, he was ready to continue the fight. A sadistic grin crossed Rajjdan's face as they plummeted into the abyss, his yellow eyes literally glowing with rage and power. Again Rajjdan slammed his fist into the chunk, breaking the epic huge hunk of land into a dozen smaller chunks. The Bantha sized chunk Rajjdan was standing on spun towards the Jedi as Rajjdan guided its fall with the Force. As he passed the Jedi by Rajj ignited his lightsabers and swung at the Jedi. As their chunks spun around each other their sabers clashed, blocked, and parried while their feet stayed planted on separate rocks.
Their rocks kept breaking as they collided with other rocks during the fall, forcing them to constantly Force jump from rock to rock. Sometimes they stood on the same rock, but mostly they stood on separate rocks. Three times during the fall Rajjdan would leap to a particularly large rock, and use the Force to launch it at the Jedi. As the rock got close to the Jedi, Rajj would shoot a small Force Blast at them, breaking them into a shotgun of giant rocks. Always the Jedi would avoid and survive.
After the third attempt both the Jedi and Rajj found themselves on the bridge. As it spun on every axis, no longer attached to any earth, their lightsabers clashed. When they had landed, Rajj and the Jedi stood at opposite ends. When they ran at each other along the bridge, Rajj's end had been above, so he was running straight down, giving him momentum as the Jedi ran up, but the bridge was spinning so by the time they met in the middle, Rajj was running up and the Jedi down. Their sabers clashed with a fury, no quarter was asked, none was given, not even in this mad, chaotic moment where they could crash and die at any moment, only their fight was important.
The end of the bridge hit the cliff face, bringing more chunks of rock down as the two were launched off the bridge and onto new rocks. Still they fell. As they fell it got darker, until the only light was their lightsabers, and Rajjdan's glowing yellow eyes.
Still they fought, even in the darkness. The Force told them what was going on so they still fought. In the dark their lightsabers were easy to follow, but it was hard to notice anything else. Now as they fell, their fists and feet entered the fray, often would Rajj kick the Jedi off a rock, often would the Jedi return with a punch or kick of his own. Unable to see, the two often only had a split-second warning from the Force that a rock was about to crash into the one they were on, always when one of them had the upper hand, saving both of them several times.
"Tell me your name Jedi, I wish to know before we both DIE!!"
Rajjdan was not his normal self, the Dark Side was fueling him. He spoke with a maniacal glee so very different from his normal calm. Whether or not the Jedi answered mattered not to Rajj at the moment, the battle, the moment, the chaos filled him with such exhilaration he had never known, to be so close to death, and still they fought.
But then it started to get brighter. Their rocks floating apart, Rajjdan looked down and saw a river of glowing lava approaching. He leaped off his rock, bouncing several times from rock to rock, into the cliff-face, using his lightsabers to slow his decent, stopping just 100 feet above the lava. Clinging to the wall he looked over his shoulder, to see how the Jedi was doing. How he prayed the Jedi lived, this was too much damn fun!
(OOC: this was sort of inspired by the final fight between Cloud and Sephiroth in Advent Children)

Round 3
Kuhblam: Effort: 4/5 (Good effort, I noticed that you really did good! :3 I liked your post alot) Fairness: 5/5 (Good job, once again no offences on your part..) Detail: 4/5 (Nice detail! I liked it, I thought I could feel through him, and it was good,.) Coolness: 4/5 (Excellent, I liked his maneuver, and I had an epic image in my mind ) Bonus: 1/2 (For a number of reasons, but I really liked your post, and your approach to the problem. It was fun to read, and I had a good time reading it!) Comments: Awesome post, still hanging in there :3
Danthien: Effort: 5/5 (Excellent! You worked through the problem, and found a good solution. Your effort was there.) Fairness: 4/5 (I am deducting a point from here, because I noticed that you played around with Ryke a little outside of my comfort zone. -shrugs- You should have left his reactions up to him :/ ) Detail: 3/5 (It was good detail, but I felt some of it was left out, and others were really focused upon. Like you didn't really mention how he got the entire cliff face, but it just sort of happened. I mean you said he used a lot of Force, and we can imply, but it was a major point in the thread that seemed like it could have used more explanation.!) Coolness: 5/5 (Very cool, kiddo. I liked it, very good solution to your problem, and I'm excited to see where it goes from here!) Bonus: /2 Comments: Good job! Excellent post, and the quality is definitely getting better. However, I am being kind of harder too, so you guys need to keep pushing harder! xD Anyway, great posts, kiddos.
