Bio: The seemingly cold man named Alex Kaiser was born a rather simple beginning. Simple for Mandalorians anyways. The planet of Concord Dawn was where his mother gave birth to him and this was where he would stay to become a warrior.
His mother had been forced to raise him since the age of two, when his father had died in a fight with Republic soldiers. As was custom with all who would call themselves Mando'ad, his mother was well versed in the way of war and battle, so his training wasn't anything different then what it could have been under his father.
At the age of 4, after learning the ways of the Mandalorians and the history of his people, Alex began to undergo physical training. His mother was caring, but stern in her teachings and his skills began to steadily improve with each passing year. It began to become clear that Alex had a knack for leading when able, speaking his mind when he believed a tactic his mother showed him was flawed or could be improved.
It was also increasingly obvious the boy was a natural with the blaster. Regardless of distance, he sought to hit it and by the age of 11, could hit nearly any target his mother could set up for him with his rifle. However, he wasn't weak in the category of melee either. His mother believed a warrior should be balanced and trained her son in basic hand to hand combat, with plenty of disarming techniques for both an opponent with sword or blaster.
His melee combat weapons of choice was a pair family heirloom that his father had left behind. Two cortosis weaved axes that were capable of being thrown for devastating effect in the hands of a skilled user. His mother taught him the art of throwing them while also teaching him how to defend, the weapons being primarily used for assault, thus making the task of defense a tad harder to master.
It wasn't until the age of 12 that Alex had his first taste of his future. The Republic had started to rise on Concord Dawn and under the insistence of his mother, Alex joined a militia that was starting to form. This would be the first time he would meet the Mandalorian named Bane Haseful. The two were quick friends, Alex impressed and even a bit awed to meet Bane's father who was a man of quite the reputation on Concord Dawn.
Years went by and by the age of 18, Alex was a Mandalorian of reputation. He had benefited greatly from being friends with the Hasefuls, Bane teaching him how to fight more effectively with an axe because of his skill with the blades he used. He was a brutal warrior, being quite the skilled shot with a blaster and quite deadly with his axes, being able to throw them with such speed as to take out an opponent before they realized their fate.
Alex was there the day he saw Bane's father cut down, mourning and saluting the hero who died the way any Mandalorian would wish to be; in the field of battle. The man had been a sort of mentor to him and Alex was grateful to have known him. By the time Alex had turned 20, the fighting against the Republic on Concord Dawn had begun to slow to a crawl and the Mandalorian decided to expand his horizon. Leaving Concord Dawn, he did mercenary work for various bosses whether it be guarding something or shooting.
For 8 years he had traveled the galaxy, a gun for hire and it was his reputation that the Mandalorian military sought him out for. He was met in a cantina on Nar Shadaa while he guarded a Hutt Lords human stepdaughter on her first date that he was given the chance to help his people once again. Alex considered the offer and almost declined, feeling mercenary work freed him from any restrictions of morals when the Hutt Lords stepdaughter screamed.
Ignoring the recruiter, Kaiser turned and threw his pair of axes at two thugs that were advancing on the table. Both were struck in the chest with deadly precision and fell easily, the Mandalorian recruiter in interested awe as the mercenary rushed to the bodies, pulling his axes from the corpses and then deflected a blade from another assassin, while throwing his axe again to take out another. Wielding only one axe now and three thugs rushing towards him, firing blaster pistols, Alex kicked over a table and went for cover as he drew a repeating thrug thrower pistol. Tossing a flash bang, the explosion and the screams of the blinded men was all the Mandalorian needed to rise and spew metal death on the thugs.
The cantina was in a uproar but the daughter was safe and the Mandalorian recruiter approached Alex one more time, telling the man he was better then a guard for some crime lords daughter. He was Mandalorian and he had a duty to his people to fight any who tried to oppress them. Kaiser realized his error in thinking and told the recruiter he would be ready to leave within the hour, taking the daughter back to her stepfather.
Going to Mandalore, he immediately began basic training, the entire experience just cementing what he already was, a warrior. While his axes weren't normal fighting weapons for melee combat, the recruiter had retold the tale of the cantina fight to his superiors who accepted them under the usage of a skilled fighter.
His first military battle took place when Concord Dawn experienced a large spike in Republic activity. This was also when he met up with Bane once more, the man becoming quite the warrior as Alex had, being in the military for some time longer then him. The battle was fierce and it all went smoothly until Alex and a few men got caught behind enemy lines, being outflanked by the Republic military who had been aware of their presence while they were scouting. Try as they might, the squad was defeated and captured.
To any who thought the Republic were civil people at all matters were very wrong. Alex came to realize this when him and his men were tortured for information concerning Mandalorian military position and other vital information, all to no avail. The interrogator was a cruel man and began to inflict bodily harm to the men, killing some in front of the others to get them to talk. Mandalorians weren't cowards and they would rather die then give information to Republic scum, something that made the Republic men irritated.
Over several days, one by one, Alex's squad were picked off by the Republic interrogators, until only two more remained alongside him. The Republic put these two in a room with a large glass window, strapping Alex onto a chair on the other side, eyelids peeled open. He was given one more chance to reveal tactical data but refused. This led to the interrogator nodding at his partner who flipped a switch outside the room containing the other two Mandalorians.
The room had several vents in the floor which spewed flames now, engulfing the two men entirely in fire. Alex could only listen to their screams as they were roasted alive, his eyes unable to look away from the evil the Republic had just committed. The fires died away and the interrogator walked into the room, the smell of burnt flesh wafting into Alex's nose. The man cut the head off of one of his squad mates, the morbid display placed on his lap, the blackened skull devoid of flesh looking up at him.
Thrown into his cell, Kaiser sat alone, his experienced silencing and disturbing him wholly. Fortunately he would not remain their for long as alarms rang off in the small base after a large explosion. People rushed by his cell frantically, blasters following them to end them as Mandalorian soldiers rushed into the cell area. Alex recognized Bane who nodded to a man behind him, the Mandalorian placing a charge on the cell door to blow it away.
Stepping out of the cell, Alex was given his axes and repeater pistols back to assist with raiding the base. But he had unfinished business, taking a small detachment of men to the interrogators area. The man was cowering underneath his desk, his eyes going wide when Alex busted down the door to his office. Grabbing the man by the throat, Kaiser brutally beat him until his face became bloodied and misshapen, dragging the unfortunate wretch into the fire room and closing the door.
The man begged for his life as Kaiser flipped the switch as he took his men and left the room, his screams being music to his ears.
The battle had been successful, the base destroyed and Alex was welcomed back. The man was clearly changed from his experiences but his ability for combat had not. He went on for several years as a valuable member of the Mandalorian military, receiving promotions for his skills and even given the chance to work in Mandalorian Special Forces, a chance he couldn't turn down. Given the codename "Geist" for the skull painted on his helmet, he continues to ensure the Mandalorian people would never have to live under the tyrant Republic.

The four man group walked cautiously through the forest, Geist's carbine in hand as he made slow sweeps of the area with his eyes. The forest was quiet but it wouldn't be for long. Intel has pointed to a small camp of Republic troops being camped in a valley just a few clicks from the groups current location. The map of the region suggested they would be on a cliff just above the camps area, the perfect ambush spot. Coming to the edge of the forest, a cliff was where it was supposed to be.
"Blackout, check the cliff edge for the tangos below and gimme a sit rep"
"Aye"
The Mandalorian spec ops crouch walked toward the cliff edge, peaking over the edge. The sun overhead gave perfect view and Geist knew the targets were below as Blackout turned his head.
"Aye, sir. From the looks of it, we got two guarding a cave just below us. I'm going to guess they're in there."
"Alright, Mandalorians. Hook up your lines to the rock behind us, we're zipping down", Geist pointed with his thumb to a large rock embedded in the ground behind him. One by one, each man slung there lines around the boulder and checked for sturdiness, each nodding in silent confirmation.
The skull painted helmet looked down emotionless as he surveyed the situation for himself. The line connecting him to the rock would ensure a silent avenue of attack for the initial strike, silent take downs all around. Once inside, his mind would get to work ferreting out the rest of the Republic bastards.
Snapping his fingers and pointing down, Geist and the rest of the group lined up side by side, jumping off to begin the descent. It took several agonizing minutes, but the four men found themselves silently hanging above two unaware guards.
"You see that blonde in the med bay?"
"Who hadn't? She could give me a physical anytime she liked"
"I hear ya there"
Geist motioned for Shadow to lower himself further down, the man being the closest to the guard on the left while Geist himself above the right.
"I'll tell you this though, I wouldn't mind sticking my-" the guard on the left couldn't finish his sentence as Shadow dropped down behind him and stabbed a knife into his throat, all that came out of his mouth was a gargle of blood.
"What-" the right guard couldn't finish either as Geist drew his axe and using the sharp end of the handle, doing the same. The Mandalorians dropped down to the ground, unclipping themselves from the zipline and hid the bodies in the nearby bushes.
"Alright, Blackout has point, Shadow on six. We got a job do, move it" Geist ordered.
