Precious Cargo - Plot and OOC discussion

[Otterling]

Hey guys! So I came up with cheesy above title for this new thread. So far, the idea we were looking at is with Liam's baddie, Kynan Skar, hijacking a ship carrying a Jedi and the force sensitive younglings he was collecting. The ship had been bound for Coruscant when it was taken over.

The Jedi are made aware of this and Mon'vuuem, her padawan Asani, Master Sellah, and padawan Ecky (XD EHEHEH *cough*) are being sent to investigate and bring the kids back.

Meanwhile, the Dark Jedi Abu has heard that his old nemesis is behind the hijacking (can't plan a kidnapping without the whole WORLD finding out, right? Heh) and he's off to confront his old enemy.

Potentially, another bad guy, Adara, has heard of this kidnapping and smells a heck of a profit in Force Sensitive kids so she's out to get in on the action. If Dire wants to go the other direction, we may have a rougue Jedi Master on our hands instead who is wreaking as much havok as she is saving people. XD WOO!

And yet another bad guy steps in too, this one being Acalya, who is also stepping up to mess some people's days up. (I LOVE how convoluted this is getting!! XDDD This is SO awesome.)

SO, I think that about sums it up. I'm not sure how we want to run posting order, but I figure we'll get a first post down and then everyone just replies once till we've all gone. From there, we'll have our posting order to make sure no one gets left out. You can post here if you want to skip your turn, ect. ^__^ Anyone got any great ideas for this that I haven't thrown in yet? Feel free to toss some out there. Also, who would like to go first on starting the thread?

Eh, while I do think it would be odd for the padawan-who's-not-really-in-charge-of-anything to set the stage, I could kick it off. xD

Regardless of who is opening it, where would we be opening it up (for the Jedi)? xD

Taking it through the entire process of the Jedi initially being assigned the mission at the temple seems like it would bog the thread down, and make those controlling DJ's have to wait to get involved. Mrrrrrr...

We could have Kynan landed on a planet (getting further supplies [or something] rather than face the whiny wrath of a whole slew of hungry force-sensitive kids) when the Jedi/other Dark Jedi/Rhiss intervene, alternatively, we could figure out some sort of boarding action in space, oooooor do something else entirely I haven't thought of. =3

Just my thoughts. Any opinions?

Hmm. I actually kinda sorta like the planet-side idea better. For no particular reason at all, mind you, but I still like it better. xD And... I think I'll throw adara in. Rhissai is already in waaaay too many threads.

But I am are approve of STPHN's idea. ._. don't run me over with your truck pl0x.

I can dig it, Acalya would be more inclined to shake things up on both sides just to see where the pieces fall, she has a whole bull**** dark side life-style philosophy behind it. ;D That's not to say she wouldn't side with the other antagonists, it's just... she'd need a good reason to, and simply saying "we're dark side too!" or "we don't like Jedi either!", wouldn't be enough.

Can Shard be in on this too? He has all sorts of underworld contacts, being an active privateer and all; maybe he heard of what's going down and decided to go snoop around.

Perhaps I could involve the Dominion on a political level, somehow. I mean, aside from its leader being in the thick of things...

Lol... Karl, if Shard's getting in then I'll withdraw Adara in favor of Rhissai / Lyssah. Three master level Dark Jedis and a Dark Jedi knight versus a Master level, a knight, and a paddy is hardly fair.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I'm just lookin' to keep stuff fair... pretty much the only reason I'm not throwing Rhiss/Lyss into this thing is 'cuz she has too many threads. >.< *is looking for an excuse to put her in*

No, Wolfie. I'm not gonna get involved in a dick-measuring contest and I'm not gonna hijack someone else's thread because I was too stubborn to let go. It has nothing to do with fair or unfair, and everything to do with my being under scrutiny for powergaming and differences in style.

So, no. Count me out.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind tossing Magdalena in there at all if Lyssah shows up, too. Also, with Lyssah being another Jedi Master, thus there being two present, it would give something for Acalya to strike at more philosophically than martially. Plus with two masters and one knight on either side (paddy not withstanding on Jedi side) it makes things fairly even.

Aaaalso, there are two padawans. =3 Asani and Ekerin.
