While I can't say I personally knew much about him, it says a lot about both the family (specifically the mother) for actually going through with his wish to thank us, and SWU as a forum that he would like to thank us for his time here, and even going so far as to single out one of our members for his helpful and compassionate nature.
A fairly popular funeral song for those I've played at with my father...listen or not at you will. Yes, it is a religious song, so if you don't like it, feel free not to listen: You Are Mine

Andrew's Mother: Hi, I just wanted to say something. One of Andrew's last requests while he was in hospital was to tell the members of this board how much he enjoyed roleplaying with you.
Talau: *blink* ......um.....?
Andrew's Mother: My son passed away on the 27th July of this year from terminal cancer, 3 months earlier than we had hoped to share with him. He said he was known to you as 'Lightsaber' and his character was: 'Adrian Swade' and he had a special thank you for Rugs for his patience and friendliness. Bye.
Talau: I'm sincerely sorry for your loss, ma'am. I'll be sure that rugs gets the message as soon as possible and will take care of things on this end. thank you for letting us know
