Up and Away youtube link Stretched along the thick branch of a tree with one leg dangling down and swaying slightly, the woman idly whittled away at the bit of fallen branch that she’d cut off down below before working her way up into the (slightly) safer branches. Eressea, that was what she was calling 13 these days after all, lay curled up closer to the end of the large branch in a patch of sun. The scales along her back were collecting the energy from it and actively converting that to the electricity needed to power her. One who knew anything about Aunna’s current living conditions might wonder just where her escort/consort/master was, because Vex was, indeed, nowhere to be found…not that Aunna had gone far from the Consul. Traveling too far out into these jungles just didn’t appeal to her sense of self preservation. Like her compatriot, however, she did like her alone time at points and so she’d informed him (rather bluntly) that she was going to be out a little way into the jungle to get some of that time. Thinking back on it, Aun decided she’d been a bit more harsh than she’d originally intended in conveying her message but, well, there were just those times where she (like any woman) got a bit more cranky than typical. She would just have to bite back the pride and apologize for snipping when she got back. It would be better for all in the end, but for now she was just enjoying the time to herself. Force knew he’d be back on her training tomorrow…if not later today…and with a vengeance. With auburn hair tied up into a ponytail, she finished clearing most of the bark from the thick bit of branch, the surface now fairly smooth and ready for carving. Ah this brought back memories of shore leave with the navy. Hells, it even brought back memories of time off on the ship when she’d find a place to prop herself up and tinker with something or other while the others hooted and hollered over the latest slips, goofs, and flubs or the last pirate raid they’d broken up. Aunna chuckled softly and shook her head, closing her eyes a moment as she remembered some of the songs they’d end up singing on shore leave or for the sake of boredom and nothing else to talk about. Opening blue eyes again, she started to knick out the design she had in mind. ”Now when I was a young man We lived near the sea strand And me folks kept a tavern called the Admiral’s Head And old salts by the fireside Would tell of the seas wide The far foreign shores and the lives that they'd led
And it’s up and away in the mornin’ O’ the tears me poor mother ‘as cried But the sea is had called me And you may say I'm balmy But I went to her just like a bride And it’s up and away in the mornin’
Well, I walked into Bristol With cutlass an’ pistol A new bo’sun’s whistle an’ a swaggerin’ stride An’ without too much censure I soon was indentured An’ embarked for adventure on a bright mornin’s tide
And it’s up and away in the mornin’ And the salt spray tastes finer than wine Dawn on the horizon And the size of the prize For the takin’ of a ship of the line And it’s up and away in the mornin’
Now some say the sea is a sickness but we Feel the thickness of wits lest we’re shortnin’ the sail And we see the sea glint ‘Neath focsle and bowsprit And our course is well plotted and runs fore the gale
And it’s up and away in the mornin’ And though we may never come home We’ll think of it often ‘Till the day that our lead-weighted coffins Get tossed in the foam With the wind to our backs we will sail Where the storms and the waves They will toss ya and shake ya But there’s nowhere that we’d rather be And it’s up and away in the mornin’ And it’s up and away in the mornin”Ah Corellians…always a sentimental breed, they even tended to keep their songs from the old pre-hyperspace days when they were sailors of seas rather than sailors of skies and stars. None of the mentality had changed, simply the means by which they fulfilled their passions. Aunna was no different. While she may have been a bit more even keel than many of her Corellian brethren, she was no less sentimental, could still be more than a handful, still had that odd wanderlust and love for the stars and seas, and simply saved her ‘rocket fueled blood’ for a time when she needed it. With one eye on her surroundings, Aunna slowly worked into that wood one of the patterns embedded into her mind from life around Corellia, especially when visiting the older sea-side towns and villages as she sang. It allowed her senses to expand slightly further than normal, relaxing in this way. Certainly it wasn’t meditation, but it put her at ease and allowed her mind to review some of the things she was learning from Vex without focusing all her attention on them. Unfortunately, Eressea (who was actively keeping track of the area) was learning that Aunna’s singing sometimes disrupted her sensors due to the way it seemed to help her connect to the force. Such was the case now, allowing there to be just enough disruption that the little draconic shaped AER to miss things further out until they got almost too close for comfort.

Dxun.
For a place so full of life, it was surprisingly peaceful to certain minds, especially when compared to a place such as Coruscant. There was so much here, as long as one kept their senses open, and even more so when one could touch the Force. The jungle was a powerful thing, alive in its own right, full of history, life and death, war...if attuned to such things, it was more than a simple feeling, however. Immersed in the Force, allowing herself to be spread thin throughout it, Kellick was very much attuned. Eyes held gently closed, she walked slowly through the jungle, hands clasped behind her back, closing herself off to the physical world around her and instead seeing it, feeling it through the Force. It was every much as beautiful in her eyes, this ever-changing tapestry spread out all around her, an unrivaled work of art.
Perhaps it was simply in her blood, but even though she had been raised on Coruscant, she had always been at ease in the jungles, especially of Onderon. Dxun was not so different, in her mind, not at its core. One wrong step, and the jungle would take you just the same, but today it left her alone, for as she walked through it, her mind mingled with it, flowed through it, and soothed it. Today, she was not a threat, not prey, she was simply...there. These walks, intertwining herself through the Force so thoroughly, it helped her relax, think, clear her mind, and that was what she needed most right now.
She'd come here days before, tracking down another of her ancestral tombs, one of the so far only two she'd heard of on Dxun, in search of...well, whatever she could find. Answers, truths, knowledge, anything really. She had to admit, it had been a fairly eventful experience, though not particularly enlightening. About the only thing she could think of she'd gained was a black eye, a split lip, a few bruised ribs, and a little more experience in dealing with the incorporeal. Ah, nothing like a good Vakkor-family reunion. Considering how many of them were dead, they happened surprisingly often, actually.
Something, however, wasn't quite right. She'd been to Dxun before, more than once, but never before had she felt...what was it? It was almost like...music? Strange as it seemed, she'd seen stranger, hell, she'd been responsible for stranger things, but this was indeed curious. And so was Kellick. Stopping briefly, she allowed herself to become accustomed to this new part of the painting, and then...then she followed it. This was worth investigating. This was not a natural part of Dxun, no, this was something brought of a will not part of the jungle, and that either meant spirit, or a living, breathing creature attuned to the Force. Really, she didn't think her luck was quite bad enough to encounter two spirits in the same day, so she was curious to see who else would be out here. It wasn't as though just anyone would, or even could, come out to the jungles of Dxun on a whim. The locals weren't particularly hospitable.
It didn't take particularly long before a new sound entered her ears, although the Sage Master barely caught it, so enveloped in the Force was she. A woman's voice, singing a tune she didn't recognize, mixed in with the normal ambiance of the jungle, drawing nearer and nearer as she continued approaching the source. Allowing some of her physical senses to return again, still she kept her eyes closed as she felt her way through the brush. Soon enough the cause of all this was apparent enough; a solitary presence in the Force unlike the wildlife that surrounded, high above, and nearby. The Force was within this creature, that much she could feel, but it felt...almost like an adept, untrained, or at least minimally so, yet the voice was clearly adult.
Stepping into a small clear(ish) space around the tree housing the source of the disturbance she'd felt, Kellick adjusted the light coat that hung to her knees and folded her hands together neatly in front of her as her the long, black braid of hair reaching to the small of her back swayed ever so slightly in the gentle breeze. Finally blinking her eyes open, she brought her gaze up and arched a brow softly.
"That's quite a talent you've picked up, miss."

Even though the song itself had ended, had run out of words rather, Aunna hummed it lightly until the scrabbling and clawing of Eressea moving and the odd ripple in the music of the jungle caught her attention. Looking first to Eressea, whose holographic wings were edged with a warning orange, Aunna fell silent and eyed the jungle, moving to be ready to leave or defend herself should she need to do either. The small form of Eressea lifted into the air, those thrusters bringing her past Aunna to cling to the trunk of the tree there for a moment, the red points behind her visor focusing on her partner.
”There’s something close by. My sensors are having difficulty reading it; similar to Vex. However, the signature is not his; it lacks the electrical signature from his respiratory systems. I will go up and provide support from above should you need it.”
Nodding, Aunna turned her head just in time to see the figure emerge from the thick underbrush. It was lucky that Eressea was hidden around the opposite side of the trunk (and that the person’s eyes were shut) or this new woman might have caught a glimpse of her as the little droid clambered swiftly up into the branches above. For a moment the former major was reminded of Rhissai, the jedi she’d met when she was still dealing with Samael (damned twi’lek), but there was something else about the woman below that…just didn’t settle right with her. Nodding to her words, Aunna shifted a bit to get both feet beneath her while trying to figure just what it was that was off about the woman.
”I'm not so sure it’s that special. Singing tends to be done galaxy wide, last I checked it was anyway.”
Was she playing dumb? Of course. You just didn’t tell random people you were a force user in training…especially not if you were on the run from the law, and certainly not if you were Aunna. The last thing she needed was to not only be found, but found, possibly recognized, and have word spread she was a force sensitive getting training from a dark jedi. Things were bad enough as they were. Eying the woman below, Aunna finally connected the dots…if Eressea was having trouble detecting this woman because her signature in her sensors was like that of Vex, and since Aunna hadn’t felt the woman coming…chances were she was a force user as well. New as she was, Aunna was fairly certain she would have noticed something as big as a human approaching her, hell, she felt just about everything else around here. There was, of course, the possibility that with all the other life around and immersed in her own activities as she’d been, the presence of the woman had been overlooked. She would just have to be cautious.
”I didn’t mean to disturb you, if I did. I wasn’t exactly expecting someone else to be out here.”
Eressea, meanwhile, had her Stinger systems up and a clip of tiny (but surprisingly potent) tranquilizing darts loaded up as she balanced easily in the foliage of a branch above the two women. With a clear view of the new arrival’s personage, she swiftly focused in on the face and began matching points on her face with similar points in the public ID pictures for republic citizens starting with those who would be most dangerous to her partner…the jedi. It took all of .501 seconds. The council members for the Jedi Order had come up at the top of the list and, lo and behold, there was this woman…one Kellick Vakkor.
Now here was a dilemma.
Without the earpiece equipped and on, the droid was faced with several choices. She could give up her advantageous position to notify her partner from the trunk of the tree and risk something going wrong in the interim. She could hold her position and speak, losing the element of surprise. She could fire first and risk causing unnecessary trouble for herself and her partner. Or, she could simply remain silent and watch to see where this lead, keeping both the element of surprise and her advantageous position…unfortunately it would require keeping her partner in the dark. Luckily for her Aunna had been running along a similar train of thought and tucked a bit of hair behind her ear, gently placing the tiny earpiece into her ear in the process. With that new choice accessible, Eres shut down her outward vocabulator and accessed her internal com, relaying the information.
The confirmation of this woman being a force user, and more - a jedi and high council member, had Aunna shifting again. If she ran, this woman may give chase if only to see why she did. If she didn’t run who knew what might happen. All her life jedi had been ‘the good guys’ and woe be to those on the other side of the law. Now that she was on the other side of the law, Aunna found she was having difficulties not still seeing jedi as being friends, but potential enemies. Deciding to stick things out, rather than raise suspicion by running from a foe she likely couldn’t outrun, Aunna kept her place in the tree and waited for an answer.

Kellick tilted her head slightly, causing a small spot of light to come across part of her face, highlighting the faded purple around her eye even further, and smiled thinly so as to not further separate the split in her lower lip. Perhaps this woman could have disguised the fact that she was hiding something from a normal being, but Kellick...was hardly normal. No famed telepath was she, but well known for her ability to feel, that she was. Reading people using other than her own physical ability was something she'd been doing for a long time.
"Ah yes, because it was, of course, your vocal talent I was referring to." Just the faintest edge of sarcasm crept into the edge of her quiet voice. If the woman wanted to keep something from her, so be it, she wasn't about to press for the truth. Not immediately, anyways. For now, she simply let her senses sink into the area around her. Some could have said she had a little bit of ego in regards to her capabilities, but honestly, she just knew what she was capable of and trusted her connection to the Force to warn her if her life were in danger. So far, nothing seemed out of place, except...
Stretching her head back until there was an audible pop, she stared at the foliage above her for a few seconds. She couldn't see the source, but it was there none the less. Tiny oscillations of energy in a place where such things...weren't exactly commonplace. She continued speaking as she leaned forward, stretching her back and choosing to not act on anything just yet. Something in her spine moved a way it hadn't been designed to and she cringed. Getting thrown into walls wasn't a particularly pleasant experience, who knew? "Oh, you weren't disturbing me. I was just out for a nice walk in the bush to try and work out some kinks after...falling down some stairs. In a tomb. Yeah, whoever designed that one wasn't thinking it through all the way."
Technically speaking, she wasn't even being a smart-ass that time. Although, being thrown down a flight of stairs wasn't quite the same as falling, but hey, close enough, right? Well, either way, she probably would have said it all the same if she had just tripped. There was something to be said for being able to make fun of yourself. Her brother had taught her how to do it as efficiently as she could, mainly by poking fun at her, mainly her backside. Still did every now and then, even after dying. He was a persistent prankster, she'd give him that.
"No, on the contrary, a little bit of music can be relaxing. I was merely curious as to who else would be out here, as my own reasons aren't exactly commonplace, and I found your...talent intriguing. But, if you would be so kind-" Lifting her chin slightly, she brought her gaze to where the energy was emanating from, staring the spot down as she rested her wrists against her hips. She'd given it the benefit of the doubt thus far, but being watched by something she couldn't see irritated her. She already had to deal with one sneaky ninja-type on a regular basis, and one was enough. "-please tell your mechanical friend up there to stop lurking. I'm not entirely sure what it is about me that makes you as anxious as you are, but I can assure you that I'm really not prone to violence. Against those who don't deserve it, anyways. Women masquerading as cats in trees don't generally make that list, I'm afraid."

If she hadn’t been so interested in not being found out, Aunna might have smirked a bit at the sarcastic remark about her ‘vocal’ talents. As it was, however, she simply lifted an eyebrow slightly and shrugged mildly, taking in the appearance of the woman. Fell down some steps in a tomb had she? Oh yes, because it certainly looked like she’d fallen down them after tripping. Complete with a slightly blackened eye. Those were common for falling down stairs these days, after all. Either way, it wasn’t her place to question the information given to her on this particular topic, and by that time she was far more concerned about the fact that the woman was a jedi…and not just any jedi. Oh no. Aunna seemed to attract fairly powerful ones. Several years back it had been Rhissai, a master, then there was Vex (while not a jedi any longer he certainly was powerful enough), and there was the one from Nar Shadda…well, two really…Ramseye and the Cathar (again, not jedi but powerful enough), and now a jedi who wasn’t only a master, but on the high council!
If she hadn’t been on the run it might have been much more pleasant information, but as things stood at the moment it was just plain frustrating and caused no small amount of anxiety. As the woman continued on, Aunna continued to play the cool customer as well as she could, nodding slightly at her comment about music. In fact, she almost spoke about her ‘talent’ (since it was obviously rather useless to try and hide the fact now) when Kellick looked up to where Eressea was and asked to have her stop ‘lurking’. That earned an amused smirk since it wasn’t likely to happen, but the rest of her explanation and comment actually elicited a slight snicker. Oh she liked this one…she seemed quite the character. Force knew she’d really have to be careful around this Kellick or she’d end up saying more than she intended.
”Well, I'm afraid I seem to attract companions that would prefer to lurk than be seen outright, and she has a mind all her own. Even if I asked I'm not entirely certain she’d find it fitting to come down and let you see just what she is…”
”I most certainly am not. It’s bad enough that she knows I'm here at all.” After all, allowing the woman to know anything more would have been tactically disadvantageous. The feminine, if slightly accented, voice from the trees above had Aunna shaking her head again and giving Kellick an ‘I told you so’ look.
”You’re nearly as stubborn as I am, Eres. And as for masquerading as a cat…well no, that wasn’t really my intention…but I did meet a Cathar once, unfortunately. Perhaps she rubbed off on me?” It was a bit of light humor, referring to the Cathar that had taken her from Manaan.

Kellick folded her arms across her chest and continued eying that little spot in the tree for a few seconds before shrugging slightly and returning her attention to the woman. "I really didn't expect your friend to come down, I suppose, but it was worth asking. So be it. I'll not pressure further." Of course, neither was she about to ignore the oscillations of energy in the slightest, but you'd be hard-pressed to tell that she had any perception of her surroundings in the slightest. Of course, if she'd really wanted to, she probably could have flicked the machine from the tree like an ant crawling up her arm, and she would if she'd felt threatened at all. But for now, no, she'd wait and see how this played out. Why make an enemy when you can make a friend? It was a nice theory, although it usually didn't play out so well in her experiences. She had a long history of attracting very unsociable types. More than a few of whom were distant ancestors hell-bent on reincarnation and trying to take over the galaxy, yada yada yada.
Raising a brow slightly at the woman's mention of a Cathar, the Sage Master smirked. "I've known a few in my time, but only one she, and I hope for your sake it's not the same one. The galaxy can barely handle one of her at a time." A brief mental image of two of the armor-clad stealth huntresses flashed into her mind, and she shuddered slightly. Life was complicated enough as was with just the one, although, in the end, she was fairly certain the woman probably couldn't be replicated. She hoped not, anyways, and feared the strain on the fabric of the universe should such the thing ever happen. Shaking off the feeling, she looked back up to the woman. "I suppose we should be certain, though, shouldn't we? Been feeling fond of shadows, lately? Full-faced armors? The color black? Long and confusingly intricate plans that will probably never make sense until long after you're dead and gone? Total fixation towards one specific individual? If you answered yes to any of these, you may need to consult a licensed physician. Soon. Please."
Sarcasm had long been one of her strong-points, usually preferring to make fun of a given situation rather than fall into the usual excessively-cryptic diatribe of most Jedi, although she was more than capable of confusing up a confusion storm when so inclined, to the point that she'd, more than once, rendered a Council Member speechless. Ah, the benefits of being a seer. Usually you had the advantage of knowing things nobody else did, which were useful for ending arguments.
"Of course, it would be just my luck that about the time I get around to ending the last one's rampage, another pops up to...you wouldn't happen to be able to turn invisible, would you?" Honestly, it was a little difficult to tell whether or not she was being serious half the time from how deadpan she managed to keep her tone and expressions. Maybe a bit of both here and there, though she was, of course, not even close to even thinking that there was a real connection. She was a pessimist, sure, but not to that degree.

Once the woman spoke again, a slight huff…or perhaps it was a sigh?...emanated from the trees above, followed by a [slightly] less stand-offish voice. ”I appreciate that.” Running a hand over her face, Aunna could only chuckle and shake her head. How in the galaxy did she come across these personalities? Certainly she understood the need to be cautious, especially now, but to the point of being rude enough that it might cause problems or suspicion? Well…it was just folly if you asked her. ”Please excuse her…she’s…cautious…around new people.”
Blue eyes noted the slight raise of the woman’s eyebrow when she mentioned cathar…but the smirk had Aunna mildly confused. Or, she was until Kellick replied, anyway. So the woman had met a cathar she hadn’t like much? For a moment Aunna couldn’t help but wonder if that was a trend with the cathar…being unlikable or a handful. She couldn’t say she’d met any other cathar in her years, but if the woman who’d taken her was ‘the norm’ she couldn’t rightly say she wanted to meet any more of them. It was unlikely, though…that woman had been a few marbles short of a game it seemed.
"I suppose we should be certain, though, shouldn't we?”
”By all means…”
“Been feeling fond of shadows, lately?”
She’d smirk and shrug slightly. ”Not particularly.” Though she knew someone who was, and she was fond of them.
“Full-faced armors?”
”I’ll have to go with ‘no’ on that one too.” Breathing masks just didn’t count.
“The color black?”
”Yes, actually…but that isn’t uncommon.”
“Long and confusingly intricate plans that will probably never make sense until long after you're dead and gone?”
”Personally? No…but again…that cathar…”
“Total fixation towards one specific individual?”
That earned a bit of laughter. ”In what respect? I could name a few…”
“If you answered yes to any of these, you may need to consult a licensed physician. Soon. Please."
After a moment, she’d sigh and shake her head slightly, shrugging mildly. ”I can’t say I have a problem with any of those things though, so you might just be…” Her words ended abruptly when the woman continued, her blue eyes widening slightly before turning icy cold. How had she been smuggled off of Manaan without anyone seeing her? She hadn’t really had an answer until that moment. Certainly she’d had a few guesses, but those guesses had been pushed to the back of her mind in lieu of attempting to get away, or figure some way of getting help. After that her world had been turned upside down and shaken about so much that she hadn’t rightly cared, but now…
”Not unless someone makes me invisible. And I don’t believe I’d enjoy having that happen again, thanks.” Joking or not, that was about the only way Aunna could think to explain the situation…she had somehow not been seen by the people on the streets that they passed. After all, someone should have notices a uniformed officer being hauled off down the street over the shoulder of a cathar woman, right? Of course. ”You know, Miss…I think I might just know your cathar a bit better than I would have liked, and if that’s the case, then I fully and completely agree with your assessment that the universe doesn’t need more than one of her around. I’d go so far as to say it doesn’t even need one of her.” No sooner had she said it, than Aunna felt it might have been a bit of a harsh thing to say…something that felt out of character for her, but the fact was, she was not the least bit pleased with the domino effect the woman had caused.

"I respect the caution of others, though it has never been a strong trait in my family." Tilting her head slightly to the side, Kellick smirked to herself. She knew the value of caution, true, but, when it came right down to it, she had a long history of throwing it to the wind and charging in head first. It was kind of funny, actually, but it had been Regnier who had been more apt to not rush in right away. "Explains why so many of us have met unfortunate ends, really. That, and an apparent inclination towards dictatorships and tyranny. Ancestors, what can you do?"
Remaining silent after Aunna's response, the Jedi Master simply narrowed her eyes a little and folded her arms across her chest, her mind immediately kicking into overdrive at the whats, whys...and the potential of a when. A little light clicked on in her head as it saw what could possibly be the end of all this. But no, not just yet, she was getting too fa ahead of herself. First things first.
Wait, what? Hang on a second. Suddenly, her mind also realized what had just happened. Comprehension, as her mind had raced on ahead far too fast for her to respond to the fact that this woman had had a run-in with everyone's favorite furry ninja. She blinked, reigning her brain back in, and shook her head. "Then you've met Dani? I see...I think this is the point I'm supposed to say something along the lines of 'there is no coincidence, only the Force', but I've discovered most people just tend to scoff when I spout cryptic Jedi diatribe. Then again, I do enjoy confusing the hell out of people every now and then. Good stress reliever."
She nodded a few times. "Yes, she does possess some rather...interesting techniques. I won't say unique, because she had to have learned them somewhere, but she does hold knowledge that is not readily available, even amongst the Order." Again, she paused. She'd already referenced the Jedi a few times in the past minute or so, and yet hadn't even introduced herself as one. Or...at all, even. But, wait, no, hang on, introductions could wait a few seconds, the woman's last statement...well, it irked Kellick. She cringed slightly, fully able to comprehend how the woman could come to such a conclusion. Dani had changed, yes, and had a way of earning the ire of others, but...a handful knew she was more than that. "Perhaps you are correct in what you say. Perhaps."
Almost as if with the flick of a switch, Kellick's expression turned almost overly solemn. "Were it that my opinion of her so cut and dry as that, then this would be vastly more simple an undertaking. But I have known Dani for many years. I knew her before she gave up on the Order. I brought her back, witnessed the changes that occurred in her. I watched as one of the most devoted servants of the Light I'd ever seen, a woman who I owed my life to several times over, became what she now is, something that cannot be easily described."
Stopping, she looked up again, finding the woman's eyes with her own and holding her gaze. "I am Sage Master Kellick Vakkor of the Jedi High Council, and I must kill the closest friend I ever had."

“Ancestors, what can you do?”
Well that earned a chuckle. Even a slight ‘hmm’ into her earpiece told her that Eressea must have found that mildly amusing. It was true enough, the little draconic REA droid could think of any number of amusing things to think about her relatives. Some more than others. Aunna, however, could practically feel the light click on in Kellick’s mind as something seemed to finally lock into place in her thoughts. This, of course, was followed swiftly by something that may have been surprise. Aunna still couldn’t be sure…she was learning fast, certainly, but not that fast.
“Then you’ve met Dani?”
”To my misfortune in some respects, yes…I suppose. I never got her name. We weren’t exactly on friendly terms.” Flickers of her experience with the woman etched through her mind, followed by a phantom pain in her ribs that made her eyes narrow for just a moment. She may have said more, had it not been so painfully obvious that the woman was very likely a jedi. Aunna liked her well enough, and had the situation been different she may have considered this the start of a potential friendship, but as things stood the woman posed a very serious threat if the wrong thing was said. Not just a threat to her, but a threat to Vex as well…which may as well have been just another threat on her own person.
As Kellick ended her (not so little) introduction and explanation, Aunna sighed. Now what? Not only did she feel bad for the woman, but she felt obliged to return the introduction. That, however, was the problem. Introduce herself and potentially get hauled in, or not introduce herself and have questions asked then potentially get dragged in. What a brilliant corner she was backed into. Eressea was transmitting words of warning into her earpiece as she mulled it over. ”Never tell me the odds, Eres…I'm Corellian.”, she muttered under her breath and sighed as she broke eye contact with the woman once again. Shaking her head, she swiftly ran through her options. There weren’t many, even less of which were desirable either in outcome or probable outcome.
”A jedi High Council member, hmm? I'm tempted to say that’s unfortunate, but I don’t think I want to run the risk of making you angry. I'm not fond of the idea of upsetting jedi…I’ve seen enough of them when they aren’t upset to know I don’t want to cross them should they ever get that way.” Again she fell silent, mulling over the situation she found herself in. She knew what she wanted to do, but chances were her counter part(s) would wish to skin her alive if she did. ”So if this Dani is the same person, and you think you have to kill her, what are you going to do? I doubt she’ll be easy to just catch and, no offense, ‘do in’ so to speak. I mean, she slipped out of a massive mess on Nar Shaddaa without being so much as seen.”
