Before Lucilius
Sextans Solo was a well-liked Jedi Knight originally from Corellia, and a member of the ruling House of Solo. Sextans, relinquished all royal titles when he was made a Jedi Knight, and no longer held power on Corellia. He fell in love with fellow Jedi Knight Kyra Rowan. Sextans and Kyra were forced to keep their love a secret, until they made a life altering decision. Without warning, Sextans and Kyra got married, deserted the Jedi, and left Republic space.
Sextans and Kyra originally headed to Ryloth, but soon grew sour to the constant Jedi visitors. Sextans and Kyra still respected the Jedi and admired them, but they wanted to live thier lives free from Jedi interference. Originally, they planned to return to Corellia, but one day, Sextans went into a Cantina, looking for someone to take them off of Ryloth. He was approached by a Twi'lek smuggler who promised to take them to a place the Jedi or Republic couldn't bother them, the planet Roon.
Sextans didn't have much money, but bought his and Kyra's way off the planet by giving the Twi'lek the only thing he had of value, his lightsaber. True to his word, the Twi'lek took them on his ship, and via the Death Wind Corridor, took them to the planet Roon. The Death Wind Corridor was a "back door" through the Cloak of the Sith used by Twi'lek smugglers. It was on Roon, where Sextans began to work as a trasure hunter, looking for the valuable Roonstones.
Birth and First Five Years
Lucilius Avitus Solo was born on the planet Roon, roughly one year after his parents landed on the planet. Roon was located in the nearly impenetrable Cloak of the Sith. Lucilius had a rather good childhood, nothing too fancy. When he was two, his mother died giving birth to a child named Sirius. Sirius would die a few hours after Kyra. The death of his wife, drove Sextans into extreme grief, and his treasure hunts became more dangerous and more reckless. Sextans would leave Lucilius alone with a friend of Sextans, a Twi'lek named Ostar Druit (Ostard'ruit). Unknown to Lucilius or Sextans, Ostar was the Jedi Watchman for the area, who landed on Roon the same way the Solo's did three years prior.
Ostar originally came to Roon, to see if anybody was Force-sensitive on the little visited planet. Striking up a friendship with Sextans, Ostar decided to stay and continue his duties from Roon. Ostar would watch Lucilius while Sextans went looking for treasures, and then one day, when Lucilius was four, Sextans never returned. His body was found a day later, in one of Roon's many mudfields. He was robbed for his Roonstones. Sextans could have used the Force to beat off his defenders, but he either didn't want to or couldn't, because he had lost his connection to the Force.
Whatever the case, Lucilius came to live with Ostar for another year, until on his fifth birthday, Ostar told Lucilius that he was to be taken to the Jedi to be trained. Lucilius was shocked, and didn't understand how he could have the Force in him. From all the stories his father had told him when he was a child, the Solo bloodline didn't have many Jedi in it. In fact, Sextans was the first Solo Jedi in one hundred years, and Sextans could only guess that the Solos always had the Force in them, but most probably didn't know or didn't choose to become a Jedi. Nonetheless, Ostar and Lucilius bought passage off of Roon from a visiting Twi'lek smuggler. The Twi'lek took them to Ryloth, where they took a shuttle to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Once at the Temple, Ostar took Lucilius before the Council and told them that he was bringing Lucilius to be trained. The Council accepted Lucilius, and he and Ostar would be parted, as Ostar had to return to his job as the Outer Rim Watchman.
Jedi Youngling: Ages Five to Twelve
Once Lucilius was accepted, he was placed with a group of Younglings, under the care of a Zabrak Jedi Master named Torill Moross. Moross, was a kind Master, and always encouraged his Younglings to come to him for aid and for any questions they may have. Lucilius tried to be the best, and was always wandering around the Temple, conversing with not only Master Moross, but any Master willing to share knowledge with him. Lucilius, also would spend alot of his free time in the Jedi archives, opening his mind to Jedi knowledge, though since he was only a Youngling, many of the Jedi holocrons and information was denied.
Lucilius and the rest of the Younglings, were taught just the basic handling of a lightsaber, but even at this young age, Lucilius craved to learn more about fighting. When he was not training with Master Moross, or in the Archives, Lucilius was watching Jedi Masters spar with their Padawans. While Younglings were not permitted to spar, they were still allowed to watch the training of fellow Jedi, though not many Younglings chose to do this.
And so, this was the was the life of Lucilius Solo, until the eve of his thirteenth birthday. In a time where most Younglings are already chosen by a Master or Knight, Lucilius still hadn't been chosen, and his thirteenth birthday was drawing closer. Lucilius realizing this was his last chance, approached a male Human Jedi Master named Maxim Vekarr, the day before his thirteenth birthday. Lucilius begged Master Vekarr to take him on as a Padawan, and eventually Vekarr agreed.
Jedi Padawan: Ages Thirteen to Twenty-Two
After being taken on as a Padawan by Master Vekarr, Lucilius was finally getting the training he craved. He made his very first lightsaber, with a blue coloring crystal. Though because of his rank, he was denied most of what was in the Jedi Archives, he was still allowed to view more than he had as an Youngling. This time though, he was allowed to go on diplomatic missions with his Master.
Their very first mission came when Lucilius was fourteen. Master Vekarr and Lucilius, were told to end a Tof-Nagai War on Nagi. Lucilius was eager to put his limited Jedi training to the test, and with Master Vekarr by his side, how could he fail? But it turns out, that success was never certain, and the Tofs and Nagai refused to sit down for negotiations. After failing three times, to achieve a sit down, Lucilius and Master Vekarr were forced to return to Coruscant unsuccessful.
Vekarr told Lucilius not to worry about the failure, that there would be plenty of other oppourtunities. Lucilius realized this, and returned to the Jedi Temple with his head held high. After their return, Vekarr resumed his training of Lucilius, until they recieved another mission when he was sixteen. This mission was rather simple, head to Ilum and route a group of treasure hunters, stealing Lightsaber crystals. Vekarr and Lucilius left the Temple, and headed to Ilum.
They arrived at one of Ilum's largest crystal caves, to see a small, but heavily armed group of treasure hunters taking as many crystals as they could. By the way they were armored and by the amount of weapons they had, they were either expecting to be robbed or to have some kind of outside interference. Either way, Vekkar wasn't taking any chances and he told Lucilius to be on the look out. Lucilius was expecting a fight, but after Vekkar talked with the leader, the treasure hunters agreed to leave if they could keep a few of the crystals. Vekkar agreed, only to avoid bloodshed. Their mission was to route the treasure hunters, and avoid bloodshed. They had done just that.
This time, they returned to the Jedi Tample victorious. Upon their return, once again, they returned to training. Lucilius proved to be good with a lightsaber, but he wasn't as cunning as Vekkar. Many nights, he would go to bed with injuries from the day's training. They wouldn't recieve another mission until Lucilius was nineteen. This mission was to escort a known Republic terrorist to Coruscant. This was a high-profile crimina, who had killed many Republic soldiers due to his acts, and the Jedi Council didn't trust the soldiers to get him to Coruscant alive.
Unfortunatly, by the time they got to the prison ship, the terrorist had already been assassinated. Though, they managed to get prestige by conducting an investigation of all the soldiers who had access to the terrorist, and arrested a Corporal* Jix Kalgar. Upon their return to the Jedi Temple, Lucilius did not return to lightsaber training, but Vekkar began to teach him from the Jedi Archives. Lucilius learned much about the Jedi in those two years.
By the time he had reached the age of twenty-two, Master Vekkar told Lucilius that he was ready to take his Jedi Trials. Lucilius entered The Jedi Trials Chamber, and after a grueling and exhausting day, managed to eliminate the holograms of the Trial. The very next day, he was taken into the Hall of Knighthood and had his braid cut off. This is part of the ceremony:
"We are all Jedi. The Force speaks through us. Through our actions, the Force proclaims itself and what is real. Today we are here to acknowledge what the Force has proclaimed." said one of the Masters. "Step forward, Padawan. Lucilius Solo, by the right of the Council, by the will of the Force, I dub thee, Jedi Knight of the Republic." and Lucilius had his braid cut off. Then one of the Jedi Masters in the circle said "Take up your lightsaber, Lucilius Solo, Jedi Knight. And may the Force be with you."
That was one of the greatest days of Lucilius' Jedi career. He was now a Jedi Knight.
Jedi Knight, The Death of Vekkar, and Voluntarily Leaving the Order: Ages Twenty-Two to Twenty-Three
After Lucilius was Knighted, he chse not to immediatly take on a Padawan, but continued to work with Master Vekkar. For almost a year, he and Vekkar traveled the galaxy, doing the Council's bidding. Then one day, a month after Lucilius' twenty-third birthday, they were assigned to once again head to Ilum. This time their mission was to eradicate a group of hostile Bounty Hunters who had made their camp in one of the crystal caves, while hunting for a target.
He and Vekkar arrived over the ground of one of the caves, but before they could land, a missle fired from one of the Bounty Hunters, hit the ship and they plumeted to the ground. Vekkar was killed on impact, and Lucilius was seriously injured. When Lucilius came too, he was in a medical facility on Ilum, and it was three weeks later. He found out the the Bounty Hunters, had mistaken him and Vekkar for their target. This was how he found out:
"Where's Master Vekkar?" -Lucilius
"He's dead. He died on impact." -Republic Doctor
"What happened? Why were we shot down?" -Lucilius
"Those Bounty Hunters mistook you and Master...Vekkar was it? For their target. You were in the same type of craft the guy they were hunting was supposed to be in. They camped out, where he was supposed to be coming to." -Republic Doctor
After about another week in the facility, Lucilius was cleared to leave. He returned to the Jedi Temple, and saying that the grief of losing an old Master, friend, and comrade was too great, he voluntarily left the Jedi Order. After leaving the Jedi Temple for the last time, Lucilius decided to make his fortune as a treasure hunter, in rare artifacts of the Force. He went to the only place he knew to have them besides the Jedi Temple. Korriban.
Treasure Hunting and A Dark Jedi: Ages Twenty-Three to Twenty-Four
Bartering passage to Korriban with one of the crystals from his lightsaber, he decided to go the The Valley of the Dark Lords, where he knew ancient tombs to be. For the first few months since his arrival on Korriban, he lived in the tomb of Ajunta Pall. The tomb held very little remaining artifacts, and was only a place for Lucilius to sleep.
His main focus, were the Tombs of Marka Ragnos and Tulak Hord. He was fascinated by Ragnos' brute strength, but he was also amazed at the stories of how great Hord was with a lightsaber. Perhaps it was Korriban that corrupted Lucilius, or maybe it was the anger and frustration at losing his friend, which ever it was he was now changed. Lucilius now craved knowledge and power, and was willing to sacrafice his life to the traps and beasts in the tombs, to achieve even a third of the power they weilded.
For months he studied the tombs, tried to decifer the runes on the walls, and searched for treasures. He wasn't very successful, as almost everything of valu had already been looted, but one day, when he entered the Shyrack Caves, he found a man who it appeared had been living there for years. Lucilius wondered how they had never crossed paths before, especially since this man, was strong in the Force. Before Lucilius had time to ponder these questions, the man attacked him.
Lucilius was amazed by how brutal this man was in his lightsaber strikes, and Lucilius narrowly avoided being beheaded by a fierce strike. He saw a flaw in the man's fighting though, the man focused too much on brute strength and not enough on the fluidness** of his motions. Lucilius, sliced off the man's hand, but before he had the chance to strike him down, the man smiled and said "Spare me child, and I will teach you things about the Force you would have never dreamed of." He bought the bait, and immediatly deactivated his lightsaber.
The man was, as Lucilius could tell, in extreme pain but apparently he used the Force to minimize the pain of losing his hand. He would come to find out, that the man was a fallen Jedi Master named Joran Albrecht. From that day forward, Joran Albrecht was his Dark Jedi Master.
Dark Jedi Knight-Marauder, Killing Joran, and Becoming an Archaeologist; Ages Twenty-Four to Twenty-Eight
Immediatly after accepting Joran's teachings, Lucilius was thrust into lightsaber training with Joran. Joran was good, but his missing hand was a rather large handicap, but one Lucilius' used to his advantage. Lucilius almost always beat Joran, but seeing as Joran was only fighting with one hand, he didn't see this as a big accomplishment.
Joran would come to tell Lucilius, that he had known he was on Korriban since Lucilius had arrived, but Joran had never sought him out, because he thought it was probably a Jedi. Joran also anwsered the question as to why Lucilius couldn't sense him, it was the Shyrack Caves. The Caves themselves were strong in the Dark Side, and almost certainly masked Joran's prescence. For two years, Joran taught Lucilius in the Shyrack Caves.
He was taught to channel his anger into his lightsaber strikes, and Joran used the ever present Shyrack as a method of teaching Lucilius. He would be told by Joran to use every thing he had just taught him, on a Shyrack. Lucilius did as he was told, and then when he reached his twenty-sixth birthday, Joran dubbed him a Dark Jedi Knight, and placed him on the path of a Marauder. Being called a Dark Jedi Knight, wasn't a big to Lucilius, as he used to be a Jedi Knight.
Joran began Lucilius on what he called the path of "The Warrior. The Dark Jedi Marauder." He was taken away from most of the Force studies, and placed into a more lightsaber focused training regiment. As a Jedi, Lucilius had a rather equal balance of Force and lightsaber training, but now with his new title he was to focus exclusively on lightsaber training. After sepnding another year in the Shyrack Caves, he and Joran eventualy moved into the Tomb of Tulak Hord.
In the tomb of Tulak Hord, he and Joran finished off the training, and on his twenty-eighth birthday, Joran dubbed him a Dark Jedi Knight Marauder. Two months after this, Lucilius would kill the crippled Joran during a duel for ownership of a holocron that was found. Lucilius won, but the holocron was too badly damaged to be of any use. Joran was dead and now he was stuck on Korriban. Lucilius thought, he would remain on Korriban forever, but no more than two months after Joran was killed, a ship landed.
Lucilius left the tomb to see who was in the ship, and to his chagrin, he saw two hyperspace travelers stepped out. He heard enough of the conversation to come to the conclusion that they were from the Deep Core, and had apparently miscalculated their hyperspace jump. He didn't wait to hear anymore, and he attacked the travelers. One was dead, and the other fled north to avoid Lucilius.
With the travelers out of the way, he stole their ship and traveled to Coruscant, and began to contact Republic historians under the name Rizzari Acheron III. He had nothing to fear from returning to Coruscant, since he voluntarily walked away from the Jedi Order. His first sell, was of the holocron that he had killed Joran for. This was the beginning of his Archaeologist career.
"Respectable" Sith Archaeologist and The Republic: Ages Twenty-Nine to Present
After word began to spread among the Republic historians, of this Rizzari Acheron III, he was contacted by the Senate, to be part of a team of Republic Archaeologists that are to be sent to Korriban and to search for anything that might have been missed by the members of the now defunct Sith Academy. He agreed, and viewed this as a chance to locate any artifacts of great power. After all, he had a better chance of locating artifacts with a team, than he did alone.
After arriving on Korriban, the team set to work, and began to excavate the dig sites that the members of the old Academy began, but Korriban had since reclaimed. It took them one-and-a-half years to find anything. After digging up one of the sites, they located an old storage container, to which they dated to around the time of the Great Hyperspace War. The items in the container, were various scrolls and tomes.
The archaeologists placed everything aboard the ship, to be transported back. When it was dark, Lucilius killed the Archaeologists in their sleep, and returned to Coruscant. He found a buyer who was unaware that Lucilius was part of a Archeological group, and purchased a few of the tomes and scrolls from Lucilius. Lucilius used the few years he spent learning the glyphs of Korriban's tombs, to forge new scrolls and tomes. They weren't perfect, but to someone who had never seen the glyphs before, they looked legit. He kept the remaining true and valuable ones for himself.
Lucilius returned to the Republic envoys, and told them that a team of treasure hunters had attacked the Archaeologists and stole every thing they had found. He said the only reason that he had survived, was because he "Admitted" to breaking away from the main group and returned to the dig site to see if he could find anything else for himself. Apparently they bought this story, as he was cleared to go on another dig. This time, on the planet Dromund Kaas. Dromund Kaas was a planet that had a history with the Dark Side, and was a ripe chance to locate and take any valuable Dark Side artifacts, before the Sith Aristocrats mobilized and sent Archaeologists themselves.
The team landed on Dromund Kaas, about three months after they were assigned the job. Lucilius realized he couldn't weasel his way out of trouble again, if he repeated the actions he did on Korriban. About a year after they had landed, the team made another discovery, this time buried in the swamps of Dromund Kaas. They located a small grouping of naturally formed lightsaber crystals. These crystals were unlike any that Lucilius had ever seen. They were tainted by the powerful Dark Side energy of Dromund Kaas, and while it gave the crystals no special qualities, three of them caught his eye. One was watery pink, one deep red, and the third was starkly transparent with an inner electric blue fire along the edges of the facets. Lucilius believed, it was the waters of the swamps of Dromund Kaas, that caused the coloring of the crystals. Lucilius wanted them.
When the archaeologists were called back to Coruscant, they were three crystals short. The three crystals. Lucilius had stolen them, when the rest were at the dig site, and he had "Turned in" early, citing Petraoxyhydride Virus, a non-lethal stomach virus, as his reason for leaving the site early. Of course, Lucilius took the crystals and as they were among a small pile and hadn't been recorded as a find yet, they weren't missed. Once they had returned to Coruscant, he gave his resignation from the Republic Archaeological Unit (RUF), and left Coruscant.
Since he left Coruscant, he has traveled the galaxy, and is looking not only for ancient Dark Side artifacts, but also any other Dark Jedi. After all, he isn't just an Archaeologist, he is a Marauder. What better place for a Marauder to find action than among fellow Dark Jedi?

Lucilius entered the tomb carefully. There was supposed to be a ancient Sith Artifact of great power located here, and Lucilius was willing to risk his life to find. The tomb began to violently shake, and Lucilius lept forward as a large pile of the ceiling caved in, blocking the path out. Groaning, Lucilius said to himself "The only way out is forward now. The builders of these tombs always have an anti-chamber in case of cave-ins. I must find it if I want to get out." Suddenly though, the thoughts of finding this artifact came back to Lucilius' mind, and all thought of leaving quickly vanished.
Quickly coming to a forked passageway, Lucilius trusted his instincts and went down the right passage, and hoped for the best. Lucilius used the Force to clear some rubble out of his way, and then after walking down that passageway for what seemed for ever, he saw a half crumbled doorway in front of him. He used the Force to push the remains of the door away from the entrance, and entered the room. He saw a circular room with a sarcophagus lying in the middle. There were statues and ancient Sith runes on the walls. What Lucilius wanted, was in that sarcophagus.
Lucilius hurried forward and peered at the sarcophagus. It looked as if it had been opened already, and the crudely closed up. Carefully, opening the sarcophagus, Lucilius let out an angry roar. The sarcophagus lay empty, not even the remains were there. Suddenly, there was the sound of laughing, and then a gruff voice yelled "Get up Sith!" Lucilius wheeled around, and saw a team of what appeared to be soldiers. "Why would soldiers be here?" Lucilius thought to himself. The leader smiled coldly and said "I told you. One of those stupid Archaeologists would come in here if they heard about the Helm of Dathka Graush."
Lucilius placed his hand on his lightsaber, but was waiting for the perfect moment to strike. His movement towards his lightsaber seemed to go unnoticed, as the leader continued to talk. "I found the Helm years ago. You see, this is the tomb of Dathka Graush. A little known, but powerful Dark Lord of the Sith." The leader turned his back on Lucilius for a second and yelled "Make sure there are no others in the tomb. You see Archaeologist, I have made this tomb my home for the past several years. I know stuff you can never learn!"
Lucilius had enough, and quickly ignited his lightsaber. The pale purple blade shot up, and Lucilius lunged at the unsuspecting man. Severing his arm, the leader fell down and let out a scream of pain, causing his henchmen to come rushing back. Immediatly they opened fire. Lucilius felt at least two blaster bolts singe his robes, as he struck down three soldiers. Wheeling around to face the last two, Lucilius let out a combination roar of pain and anger as he was struck with a blaster bolt to the leg. Dropping down to one knee, Lucilius Force Choked one of the soldiers and threw his lightsaber at the other, impaling him through the chest. Then there was silence.
Lucilius stood up, and trying to avoid puting pressure on his leg, walked over the bodies and retrieved his lightsaber, which was lying on top of the soldier's chest. Looking around, he saw the leader of the soldiers, trying to crawl away. Lucilius limped over to him, and ricked him up. With a cruel smile, Lucilius ignited his saber and with one quick motion, beheaded the leader. The lifeless body dropped with a dull thud.
Lucilius looked around, and saw a passage at the very end of the room, and hoping it would lead out, Lucilius hurried over to it as fast as his injured leg would permit. He shot one last look of disgust at the dead men laying in the room, and entered the tunnel. He was ready to leave this tomb and look for more treasures elsewhere.
