Faction Name: White Star
Faction Purpose: A criminal organization, dealing in smuggling, extortion, weapon trafficking, slave trading, bounty hunting, general thievery in the name of keeping the galaxy in the correct balance.
Faction Planet: Myrkr
Financial wealth: Very High; due to the investment of time and money from unknown benefactor/s, White Star has managed to gain a firm hold on what used to be free markets. Regaining control over the smuggling rings that were in freefall after the near complete collapse of the exchange and continuing to deal in excessive amounts of information, allows White Sun access to large amounts of cash-flow, while keeping other criminal groups such as the Hutts at bay.
Military assets:
Space Fleet: Mediocre at best; while White Star controls one heavy capital ship, stolen from the republic [explained later], a majority of it's "fleet" is simply leased or under the "privateer" licence. Acting under the guidance, but not under ownership, of White Star. Furthermore, a majority of said fleet are various classes of freighters not designed for fleet confrontations. Mostly hired on smuggling ships, White Star tends to lean towards diplomacy and stealth when it comes to Naval tactics, leaving enemy fleets to the mercy of hired pirates.
Ground forces: Mediocre; White Star hires some of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy and keeps them well employed, bringing a firm stock of mercenaries in tow to get the job done correctly. These mercenaries tend to be some of the best the galaxy has to offer, unfortunately they are not full time and they also work for money, tending to avoid the more dangerous missions. The planet Myrkr is defended by a little less than a platoon of former elite troops from all corners of the galaxy, on a long term enlistment. A majority of White Star employees are unique criminals with specific roles on galactic subversion.
Form of Government: Setup similar to a normal super-corporation, one man is elected to power over the faction by the seven "Vazijo" [pronounced "Vah-ze-joe"], a word meaning "Brother of Arms" in Neti. The leader of White Sun gains the title "The Visionary". Members are admitted into the Vazijo when deemed necessary to replace a former member by the remaining six. The only time a Vazijo or a Visionary is replaced is by the death of the current title holder.
The Visionary holds complete power over the entire faction, choosing to interfear as he wills. However he is the only one with knowledge over the entire workings of the faction, other than his aide and head Vazijo, nicknamed the "Vici".
Vazijos each control a sector of space assigned to them, keeping track of all pirates with permission to poach on their territory, paying attention to gangs, smaller factions and opposing groups, controlling them however necessary.
Under the Vazijos are the typical gang leaders and thugs, ranging from Pirate Kings to low level hitmen. Occasionally not even knowing that they are working for White Star, they are manipulated often into cells if they are knowledgeable about their superiors so a single bust will only take down a portion of the organization.
Faction History: White Star originated from several factions, companies and groups finally being cohered into one. The Exchange had made countless billions in it's industry, controlling crime across the galaxy, only to be destroyed by the galaxy's supposed protectors. Unfortunately, through the actions of a being named Goto, the Exchange was targeted by a Jedi and it's main base of operations on Nar Shadda was destroyed.
Near the same time as the destruction of the exchange, three now famous companies appeared on the Galactic Stock Exchange. Generi Corporation, Lycos Productions and Aspire Armament Systems.\
