[I'd just like to start with a brief intro that just because this idea is for the parody board, I don't mean it to be taken any less seriously than the IC RPing.]
So anyway I've had this idea floating around in my head for a few months now, and I've finally got a bit of time to write this out in hopefully a legible fashion.
The idea is this--
Take one of your characters and go back to their early life where a big decision or a big change turned them onto the course where they are now. And then go in the opposite direction. Basically, play out the 'what ifs' or the 'alter ego' of sorts for your character.
Your character's enemy will be their friend, their friend their enemy and so forth.
And this is why it's for the parody board, because it's not anything currently going with the IC plot.
For example:
What if...
...your Jedi had never been discovered?
...your Sith had never left the Jedi order?
...your Sith soldier had never defected?
...your bounty hunter or smuggler hadn't turned to a life of crime?
...your royal had never gained the throne?
...your assassin never joined Green Meadows?
And on and on and on.
For this 180-turn of a milestone in your character's life, I was thinking it couldn't be too recent, in order to make sure there is the greatest chance. Basically, it would be a changed decision or even within the first ten years or so of your character's bio. They would be about the same age as they are currently IC, but would be a totally different character, obviously, with different traits and skills.
Also, it would have to be a big change, like a Sith who never left the Jedi Order or something like that. I don't want your 'change' to be your character deciding to enter university or whether to eat a salad instead of a steak. (Unless you can explain how this decision will change their life).
And it doesn't have to be a personal decision either. It could be something the character's parents decided, like a move to a new planet. Or it can be an event, not a decision. A different milestone in the character's early life. Or even a mix of more than one change that builds up to make a huge 180. Whatever it is, make sure it's big enough, and believable enough for the character.
I'm not really thinking of any limit here, though at first, I would say only 1-2 characters per member, and we'll go on from there to see how the interest goes. I want to keep it pretty equal. And to keep things organized, there will probably be multiple threads so that like characters RP with like characters and so forth. Might be confusing to have all of them in one area. Like, keeping the Force users in one thread, perhaps even dividing between Jedi and Sith (the alter ego versions).
Oh, and only accepted characters, too, though that's probably obvious.
I'm also open to any suggestions by way of running this to even possible locations for the threads. (Obviously within the parody board).
Any questions are welcome too.

We'll figure out other things later, like different skill sets and the like once we get a few people signed up.
