Bio:
Okothi was born with a rich mother, an older brother, and a father who was a politician. His first few years were good, being cared for and treated like a normal baby. He received lots of love even from his brother. His life was wonderful, until his mother was killed at her job. His father, being a politician, didn't get much time with him, so that left his brother to care for him. His brother was 14, but knew nothing of caring for babies. He learned, though.
When he was 8, his brother finally decided to tell him about his mother. He didn't know his mother very well, so he didn't care very much. As he grew older, he learned more and more about what happened to her. Once he learned it all, he knew the truth, about his family's secret. His mother was being hunted by a bounty hunter who was being payed by the sith order to kill her. She was an ex-jedi, and had been expelled for marriage. She was powerful, which drew the sith order's attention to her. They would stop at nothing, now that she was vulnerable, due to her expulsion. This triggered Okothi's decision: he was going to run away in case the sith are drawn to his family, not just his mother. While his brother was asleep, he gathered his things, he tried to fight the thought of stealing a portion of his family riches. He went to their money safe and took out a 10 thousand credit chip and stuck it into his bag.
He found a starport and bought a ticket to Tatooine, Mos Eisley and left his home for good. He arrived on Tatooine, and found a cantina. He had an interest for music, so he went in. Inside were several musician, some dancers, and an uncountable amount of drunk men and women, wobbling around, flirting with musicians and dancers of the opposite gender. One man stopped playing and smiled at Okothi. He walked towards him and said, "You look like the type who likes music. Do you play?" Okothi shook his head. "I would like to learn, though," he whispered, shyly.
The man reached out his hand. Okothi did the same. He shook his hand and handed him an instrument. "Here, this is called a slitherhorn. I can teach you to play it, and then you'll learn other instruments," he said. He taught him the instrument, and Okothi learned a lot. The man also taught him to dance, which he became good at quickly. By 15, he had learned and had experience with 5 different instruments.
The man had decided to teach him the narlgon, which became one of his favorites. At 17, he had mastered it, and left on his own. He bought a house, and settled down in the middle of the deserts. He had also bought a shuttle for travel. He now lives as an entertainer, who performs mostly at the Mos Eisley Cantina, but accepts work from anyone who can pay.

Okothi stood still, silently gazing from across the overly active cantina. This place was crawling with idiotic alien bounty hunters, pilots, off-duty soldiers, and a bunch of drunken idiots at all times. There was no place for a young entertainer in a place like this, but he was paid for it and that was all the motivation he needed. Silently raising himself up out of the hard metallic chair, Okothi took many short steps toward the center of the cantina. He had to do something to get his pay, and he seriously wanted to leave this bar, and so he hurried. The moment he reached the center of the bar, the center of attention, he slowly reached for another hard metallic seat and sat down.
At that point, he began a debate with himself over which instrument he would use. Slitherhorns were all too common, Narlgons are overall too large to even bring into a building without some help, and that left him three choices: the Xantha, the Mandovial, and the Fanfar. He eventually chose randomly, due to his excessive want to leave the cantina, and settled on the Xantha instrument. He reached into a bag he had set down next the the chair prior to seating himself in it and withdrew a silver stringed instrument with a small blowing attachment on top. Resting the instrument on his right knee and lightly putting his lips over the blowing attachment, Okothi began blowing lightly and plucking the thin metal strings.
The instrument made a sort of a classical sound, which seemed to attract some patrons' attention. At that point, he seemed to lighten up a little bit. Beginning to play slightly more loudly, more patrons, some drunken, some sober, began clapping along with the rhythm. The boy seemed to enjoy this, and began to play much louder. In a few moments, the entire crowd was listening, grinning, applauding, laughing, everything. The boy continued playing for another ten long minutes, which seemed to take forever to go by. Eventually he stopped, tired. Slowly putting the instrument back, he grinned as thundrous applauds filled the large area. Immediately standing up, Okothi bowed and swung the bag over his back. He started toward the door. Quickly walking through it, the boy exited the cantina and started for home.
