Jahn coulden't help but feel the oncoming storm. There was a pressure, a fire, building up within him. The Force was once a safe haven for the Knight, now it ripped at his heart. Was this what it was like? To fall. Jahn slammed his head on the dashboard in anger. For a moment he had to remind himself just to breathe. Perhaps he had gone too far. This Jedi had always played with the Dark Side, maybe he had taken a final unknown step toward the shadows. For now he cut himself off from the Force. It was unstable to him. It could not be trusted. Instinctively Jahn took leave form Coruscant. It was dangerous for him to be near the Jedi when he could not control his mind. He owed it to his parents, who had given up their first born, to be a great Jedi. Though if the masters knew of his darkened heart, they would surly expel him... or worse. Jahn needed space from everything he knew. The expectations, the masters, the rules all were added confusions that he could not handle. Not now, not in this state. A planet of luxury was his destination. He was sure there would be no Jedi here. This was something the Jedi never did; a vacation. As he entered the system a cool metallic voice greeted him. Jahn provided his name, destination, and number of members in his party. After he was given a docking pad and directions on how to register as a tourist. In the minuets it took for the auto pilot to land the ship, Jahn rested his tired eyes. Everything was a blur, he just needed some rest. He hoped that when his eyes reopened everything would be clearer. Not just his sight, but his path, emotions, and connection to the Force. *** It started of dull, then grew into his conscience. The pilot light was blinking and the impression that he was moving was over. He must have landed. Glad to be on land again the Knight rose and crossed the length of the ship. There he gathered what few belongings he had and departed. His first breath from the stale cabin air was, to put it simply, magical. His senses erupted with the sent of fresh air, the sweet aroma of fruit and chatter of happy tourists. Everything was relaxing. From here he could hear what he assumed to be a lake. He cursed sleeping through his arrival, he had literally no idea as to what surrounded him. Shrugging Jahn pressed on. He registered as a tourist and moved from the landing area to the small shops and cafes. There he took a moment to gather in the sights. Here he saw more of the fair Zeltrons going about their business. Everything seemed so serene and settled, perfect. Jahn bought a small fruit from one of the stalls and continued his exploration. He bit into the skin and his mouth filled with the perfect mix of sweet and tart juices. Further on the road he saw clothing vendors and other varyous goods. Jahn had little need for anything he would find there but none the less, he moved on looking form something that would catch his eye.

Her entire descent was marked by dark smoke. She could already sense the ship was being watched curiously. As the landing gear touched down, Phoenix looked out through the window of the cockpit. A crew had been dispatched to refuel the ship. They had started out at a run, but had slowed down at the site of it. Phoenix chuckled and the swung her legs to the side and stood from the chair.
The ramp lowered with great complaint, but as it settled, Phoenix stepped forth into the fragrant air of the most luxurious planet in the galaxy. Across the landing platform, two figures were approaching. Tall, and slim, the male was a deep pink, and the female near white. Both could boast flawless features. They began with sincere smiles, that turned into barely disguised confusion. Phoenix came to a stop in front of them. The Zeltrons looked her up and down, and Phoenix waited.
W.. Welcome to Zeltros! The woman finally said. We would be pleased to help you with your registration. Phoenix's lips curved into a thin smile, and she tilted her head, nodding it slightly in response. The male then spoke, leaning to the side slightly to get a full look at the ship.
Your transport... will be fully serviced and taken care of during your stay. His gaze then returned to her, her clothes in particular. Is there anything you will be needing... directly?
Phoenix's smile expanded. Yes, I should need some clothes I think. Could you recommend a good shop? She said, turning to the female. Then, looking at the male, she continued. I shall have no need for the ship, I'm afraid it's past its prime. Could it be arranged to have it sold to a junk dealer perhaps?
The two Zeltrons fumbled for a moment, but soon picked up their slack. The male assured her that the ship would be taken care of and the credits would wait for her wherever she designated she would be staying. He then bowed slightly, dismissing himself to make the arrangements. Phoenix was left with the female, who warmly ushered her over to the registration area. Phoenix patiently went through all the necessities and then was given a datapad with all the information a tourist could need. The Zeltron had even marked a particular clothing store that was well respected, and nearby.
((OOC: Doobie doobie doop, doo... Scene Change!))
Phoenix, having 'convinced' the salesperson to significantly lower her prices, exited the shop feeling refreshed. Her slave attire had been abandoned, and she now sauntered with more pep. Her once bare feet were now clad in tight dark leather boots. She wore equally tight pants and shirt. The shirt was sleeveless, perfect for the warm weather. She carried two bags of more clothes with her, and had spent next to nothing. Following the directions of the sales clerk, she found a nearby resort. She checked in and left her things to be taken to a room. But rather than retire, Phoenix returned to the bustling streets of the tourist market.
She had picked something up, a whisper in the force. It had been faint, but she would not ignore it. She moved through the crowd, all but unnoticed. Her senses snaked out from her like strands of smoke, searching for the source of what she had felt. Her ice blue eyes flashed with the thrill of the hunt.

Jahn pressed the streets as any traveler on a strange planet would. He stopped at the occasional cart to check the goods and then moved on. In this fashion he had traversed a good portion of the market. He spared a glance at the sky, the day had been warm but he saw the clouds darkening. Summer showers. Around him he saw some of the travelers prepare to take shelter in their resorts or cafes. Few were left continuing on their day. Jahn loved the rain, it was in these storms he felt grounded. Such power, destruction, and might yet they also nourished the ground. Devastation followed by prosperity. Such was the way of the galaxy, such was the way of the Force.
Jahn had come to the last bite of his fruit as he felt the first drop hit his face. I was going to be a cold rain. As he tossed aside the core he felt something he did not expect. He could not feel a presence or power, but he did feel a dark threat. Someone, or something, was on the hunt. He settled the panic he felt. The Jedi could not have followed him here. No one knew the darkness that licked at his sole. This was something new. The Jedi Knight was not sure whether he was the target or not. Planets of this caliber cared to not make a scene so their police force would stalk a suspect then apprehend in the shadows, away from the public eye. It was possible that he just felt the police at work.
Whatever it was, Jahn didn't care to find out. The knight stretched out with his feelings sending out his own net. If someone was following he would find out. On Zeltros he did not care to hide his use of the Force. If someone was tracking him through the Force it was already too late to hide. At this point his life depended on him knowing if he was the target of the hunt.
His senses prickled with anticipation, Jahn did not hide this. Other Jedi would seek to suppress such feelings, Jahn fed off them. His unconventional command of the Force gave him an odd signature unlike other lightsidders. He was thankful for this, as those who tracked Jedi usually left him alone for his Force signature was much darker, twisted. He then pushed forward, now the rain was beginning to fall and he blended into the hurried crowd. He was making his way to one of the back alleys where he would wait and confront the mysterious hunter. Whether his intentions were ill or not, Jahn's hand instinctively reached for his lightsaber that was concealed deep within his traveling cloak.
((Feel free to take it from the alley I'm not sure how you would like to introduce your character for her grand opening))

Phoenix could feel the tingle run up and down her spine. It was similar to the feeling she would get when she and Gordon were closing in on their target in a mission. It was similar, but not the same. The difference? She was free. No orders being fed to her. No council agenda. This was Phoenix's mission. Her game. And oh was she having fun.
As she moved through the crowds, her senses would pick up the people around her, if their emotions spiked high enough. She had lingered for a moment near a jewelry store, where she could feel the excitement of a young man as he chose a ring for the woman he loved. Gordon would have chastised her for this. Spying on the innocent was not in good taste. Well, it tasted just fine to Phoenix.
Turning a corner, she stopped to feel the anxiety of a child. His mother was wrapped up in a conversation with another woman, and the poor boy was hungry. He stared at a cart of fruit with craving eyes. Phoenix smiled and walked between the boy and the cart. As the vendor's head was turned, she snatched two of the fruit and tossed one to the boy with a wink. Sinking her teeth into the almost too sweet flesh of the fruit, she continued on.
The crowds were beginning to thin, and still Phoenix followed the ripple. And a strange one it was. Not entirely light, but not dark either. A blending of both? She needed to get closer. Imagine, if you can: Her senses like smoky snakes extending from her in all directions, twisting and weaving their way around the world, and then coming to a stop as they met their mark. So it was a Jedi. Or a force user of some sort, and they were not trying to hide. Well, now they would both be aware of each other, so who would make the next move?
The being moved into an alley, as the rain steadily increased. Phoenix waited, and then circled around a building. The alley was ahead of her, just around a corner. But streets were so conventional. Her eyes glanced up to the building next to her. The roof came low at the back, and was letting the rain drain off in a sheet to a gutter bellow. Phoenix twisted her foot toward the building, crouched and sprang up. She landed silently on the roof and walked along it's border until the alley came into view below her. Soon, she caught sight of the one she had been stalking. Found you. She said to herself with a smile. Though in truth, she knew this man had not tried to hide. She observed him for a moment, noting the way he reached for, what she assumed to be, his lightsaber.
Now play fair. She said out loud, sitting down on the edge of the roof and taking another bite of her fruit. I didn't bring any toys. She held her arms up. It was obvious that, with her current attire, there would be no place to conceal such a weapon. The rain, by now, had thoroughly soaked her hair. When dry, the red was bright and vivid. But when wet, as it was now, the red was darker, near the color of blood. The blood of humans in any case. Some of the wet locks clung to the sides of her face and neck. The rain did not, however, dampen the intensity of her eyes, which now focused on the man with great interest.

Jahn felt a disturbance and turned sharply as the woman came into view. Something about the girl was familiar. Perhapses it was her eyes, frozen. The icy stare sent a shiver down the small of his back, he couldn't help but stare back. Though transfixed Jahn wanted nothing more than to divert the direction of her chilling orbs. So he did the only thing he could think to do. He greeted her.
Hello there, Jahn waited for the girl to react. He was searching for the smallest reaction, a clue to her intentions. Isn't the weather a bit unsettled for a roof side stroll? As he watched the rain began streaming off his face. The rain pelting against his unveiled eyes was uncomfortable to say the least but it was a pain he must bear, for now. He couldn't risk a moment of split consent ration, this mysterious woman had yet to reveal her intentions. For his sake he hoped she wanted an interesting conversation over tea. But there was something about the way she held herself that made Jahn doubt this.
There was a twisted something about the girl. Again he scanned her for a tell. Nothing. The girl's motives were her own. If he was to get any information from the hunter, it would be through her words. He now hoped she had something to say that he would want to hear.

As she waited for him to reply, she finished off the fruit and then dropped it down into a garbage bin below. He greeted her, and then commented on the weather. At his words, she turned her eyes skyward. Indeed, the clouds had rolled in and darkened the day considerably. Her eyes blinked as the rain hit them, so she turned her head back down toward him. Perhaps. She said, with a shrug of her shoulders.
She then slid off of the roof, landing light as could be not far from him. She didn't imagine he liked staring up into the rain, and she had made her entrance. To hold on to it would just be over the top.
But where are my manners. She said, smiling into the man's eyes. Phoenix D'gaal. She extended her hand, the long fingers unraveling to welcome his own hand in greeting. After an exchange of names, there would be no need to dance around the bush. They were both Jedi... and they were both here for reasons likely unknown by the council. She could almost hear Gordon's voice. There are no coincidences. There is only the force. What had the force led her to this time then?

Jahn Minraun, he reached out and took her hand. Contact with the girl felt strange. It had been so long since he actually came into contact with another being. Months now he had kept himself in seclusion. The last contact he had was with the wookiees on Kashyyyk. The wookiees were sweet but their brutish mentality could not be compared to real interaction. His eyes scanned the girl, he could not put his finger on the sense of familiarity. Clearly she could access the Force, she was skilled enough at that, but was she a Jedi. His senses did not alert him to any danger but there was certainly a wild side to this being.
Jhan wanted to learn more about her. It seemed odd that two Force users could coincidently bump into one another on some high strung luxury planet. Perhapses it was the Force that was drawing him to the woman, maybe she was the key to clearing his frustration. Jahn had been seeking solitude in order to tame his failing sole but maybe, just maybe, she could make things clear for him. He doubted she would know how to help but the Force had a funny way of working. Almost a sense of humor.
He looked around, there was little to see in this back ally. Furthermore Jahn was not familiar with the location of places on this planet. Hey, lets get out of the rain. Try and find a more suitable place to talk, he could feel curiosity burning within him and if he was not mistake within his acquaintance as well.

Her hand slipped into his easily as he introduced himself. She was sure she had heard his name before, but of course, this was probably a Knight. All padawans tried to remember as many Knights as possible, in hopes of being able to impress them. Well, it had been a while since Phoenix had needed to remember names, as she was near Knighthood herself. But she doubted that would happen. Not now. Not if the council discovered what she had done.
Heeding his words, Phoenix nodded. She took the datapad she had been given from a pocket and punched in a few things. A readout appeared on the screen, indicating a nearby cantina. Fancy a drink? She asked as she walked to the end of the alley where it opened up to the street. She led the way, not bothering to see if he was following. As she walked, she began to wonder at why this Jedi was here. Was he looking for her? He had not indicated so in their greetings as she would expect if he was. Besides, It would be Gordon who would be looking for her. It made more sense that her own master would do so. But... what if he couldn't? Maybe he hadn't escaped that mob. Well, she could muse about that later, they had arrived.
Stepping under an awning that jutted out over the entrance, Phoenix leaned her head to the side and squeezed the water out of her hair as best as she could. She then deftly tied her hair up and out of the way. Her clothes were still wet, but there wasn't much to be done about that. Throwing a glance in Jahn's direction, she pulled the door open and strode inside.
The cantina was quite full of sentients who were waiting out the rain. Hardly anyone spared them a glance, save the bartender, who nodded his head in the direction of the last empty booth. It was far in the back, and somewhat secluded. Perfect for a candid conversation.
Sliding into one side of the booth, Phoenix leaned in over the table to speak to Jahn. The one light above the booth cast a shadow down over her face, making her ice blue eyes seem all the brighter. So... Jahn... What kind of strings does a Jedi have to pull to score a mission on such a lovely planet as Zeltros. Her lips spread into a thin smile with the teasing comment, and one eyebrow arched at a great angle to indicate her interest. Oh yes, she was curious... to say the least.

[Sorry for the delay. This post really sucks but its the best I could come up with. Maybe we should figure out a purpose or result of their meeting so we have a goal to work for in the posts]
I suppose the same sort of strings a woman like yourself would have to pull. Jahn slid into the bench across from her. He noted the quality of her clothes. She seemed to fit in as far as appearance goes, but there was something about the way she moved that hinted deception. Jahn was raised in the noble house of Tion and was familiar with the flamboyant motions of those with too much money. This girl had seen and been through more than she was letting on. No ordinary tourist would stroll the rooftops of an ally in order to make an appearance.
Jahn could feel a tug in the Force. Was this sentient dangerous? In his current state he could not rely on the Force. It figures, he would meet a girl who took him to a cantina. Then he ended up in such an emotional state that prevented him from relying on the one Force that had taken him clear across the Galaxy hunting Dark Jedi and slavers. All he wanted to do now was read an adolescent.
Actually I'm not here on Jedi business. In fact if they knew I was here, I'd likely be expelled. He remembered his last run in with the former Grandmaster. She had nearly exiled him for rallying a wookiee resistance. Jahn had morned the death of the esteemed Grandmaster but he couldn't say he would miss her. Things have been... difficult lately and I needed time to clear my mind, he said gravely. He figured if he was open and honest with the girl he could gain her trust. His only hope was that she would be as honest with him.
The more he watched the girl the farther his mind clouded. He had felt this once before. Only that time he had received a vision warning of a Dark Jedi alliance. He and a strike team of Knights disrupted the meeting and prevented the union of forces. Maybe the Force was preparing him for warning. Regardless he had to focus on the topic at hand. And now that topic was figuring out his... companion.

Phoenix's smile broadened at his response. Oh if he only knew. This Jahn seemed, wary, but open at the same time. She tilted her head and lifted an eyebrow as he explained further. He'd gone rogue? Now wasn't that interesting. Phoenix was liking this man more and more. So he needed a break... time to clear his mind. Well didn't they all.
Phoenix was about to suggest that a week or so of forced starvation cleared one's mind quite nicely, but she wasn't ready to divulge everything about her, not just yet. The only reason why she was even talking to Jahn was because she had sensed a touch of darkness in him. She had felt that touch herself, had acted on it to save her own life. Now she wanted to know more. And here on Zeltros, she just happened to meet a Knight who seemed to be her answer. Could they seek out this thrilling new power together? That would depend on how he reacted to her story.
I think we're in the same boat, Jahn. I'm here because my last mission turned to bantha fodder. I'm sure the council won't like hearing the details of my escape. Just then, a waitress came by with an annoyed expression on her face. She asked if they thought they might order something sometime this millennium. Phoenix's piercing eyes met the waitress'. Your most popular drink then. The waitress started to turn away, but Phoenix's hand reached out, quick as lightning, and grabbed her arm, turning her back around. Two. Releasing the waitress, she turned back to Jahn. So... what are we to do?
((OOC: I was thinking that we could both discover that we seek the dark side, and since you mentioned how you helped break up a meeting or something, we could decide to go in search of someone together, then bump into Jenno's character. Whatcha think?))

Jahn shuddered at the arrival of the waitress. She had broke his daze. Jahn wasn't prepared to order anything but shrugged as Phoenix ordered two. Eh, he could use a drink. His mouth was dry despite his soaking clothes. So, what are we to do? The question struck him. Well if I ever had the right answer to a question, I would hope it would be that one. he tried to lighten the mood while he thought. Silently he slipped in to the Force. What was once peaceful and serene now felt. Emerging in the now felt like leaping into a pit of needles and glass. But somehow, it felt powerful. Before the Force was but a whisper as to his actions, now it felt like a tool to be used. Something to be manipulated for a end.
Jahn exhaled and as he spoke, he used to Force to demand entry into the girl and himself. He was summoning a glimpse into the future. He saw an ancient structure of the Jedi, only it was destroyed, in ruins. The Jedi Temple? No. He was not peering far into the future just far into the reaches of space. The Great Jedi Library, rather the former Jedi Library. We will have to travel in order to get the answers we are looking for.
He paused for a moment. He had spoken without knowing, Phoenix, what is it that your looking for? What brought you here?

The waitress returned with their drinks and set them down. Phoenix took one and sipped it. It was sweet, but with a kick at the end. She liked it. Setting the glass back down she nodded her head, the smile still plastered across her face. Jahn was right. What to do really was the ultimate question. She almost expected Gordon's words to come out of his mouth. Some type of philosophical mumbo-jumbo. But no, this Jahn was honest.
He mentioned traveling to find answers, and Phoenix nodded again. Yes, they could seek out the answer together. Was this an invitation? She didn't ask, deciding that it would be revealed soon enough. But she already knew that if he would allow it, she'd follow. And if he didn't, well, then she would find someone else that would.
She took another sip of her drink when he asked about her. He wanted more details. For a brief moment, Phoenix felt frustration rise within her. An anger, that he could assume to be allowed this information. But she silenced it as quickly as it had risen, and no sign of it had reached her features. If they were going to be journeying together, she would have to trust him, wouldn't she.
My last mission with my master went wrong. She explained how she and Gordon had been undercover to bust a slave trade ring on Coruscant. Of how they had been discovered by a woman who turned out to be her mother, and how she had been separated and captured. She then explained how she had been starved and kept locked up for a week or two, and then put on a ship, destined to be sold on Tatooine. I fed on the Force. She said simply. It kept me alive. And then when one of them made a mistake, I fought back. Her eyes flashed, betraying the mask of calm on her face. The story had brought back a touch of the rage she had unleashed on the ship. She downed the rest of her drink. They deserved it, every one of them. Even dear old mumsy. She said, with a roll of her eyes and a scowl.
She then leaned back in over the table. So you see, I'd be in big trouble if I went back. So I don't plan to. I learned something on that ship. And I intend to continue my... research. She laughed a little, her eyes searching his, to see if she had spoken too much. She didn't want to scare him off. Anyway, I consider my Jedi education at an end. She said, leaning back and speaking in a lighter tone. Had the mission gone according to plan, I would have been knighted afterward. She shrugged her shoulders. It was all self paced after that, in her mind. She didn't need them anymore.

Jahn took a sip of his drink. Sweet, like the fruit he had earlier, but followed up with a jolt. It had been quite some time since the Jedi had a drink of this makeup. It was refreshing, relaxing. Then, to his surprise, Phoenix began talking. She unveiled the darker secrets of her last mission. The events that unfolded were truly unfortunate. His heart went out to her but such was the way of many missions when led by a blind Jedi Master. There were certain members in the Order who had the insight to understand the Galaxy, though most were infatuated with their holy image.
Jahn had always been used by the Jedi Council. Many had noted his ability to push aside feelings for the greater good. He had been sent to the darkest places of the Galaxy and seen things most other Jedi have been sheltered from. Phoenix happened to be paired with a Master who apparently did not hold the gumption to do what was needed in order to protect what mattered most.
Phoenix, I am sorry for your loss. But you have to understand, most Jedi cannot buckle down and do what is needed of them. The Order is called to protect and defend. Most Jedi end their lives meditating on a Force that has abandoned them. He took another drink savoring the flavor. If you stay with me, I'll make sure you find the truth. Hell, I think the both of us could use the company.
He looked her over one last time, after this meeting he would no longer be trying to read her. The two would have to rely on each other, the building in his vision was full of... unruly beings.

Oh, he did what was needed of him. She said with a laugh. Gordon finished the mission, no doubt. I wouldn't be surprised if he finished up his report before requesting permission to come find me. Her hand hit the table with a loud SMACK! A few heads turned, but Phoenix didn't care. Her voice did lower a bit after that, though with a more sinister tone. Permission. She repeated with a hiss as if it left a bad taste in her mouth.
Gordon was a by the book kind of Jedi. But that's not what she needed. Phoenix needed loyalty. She needed someone who would be there for her when she needed them, not after the paperwork was done. Phoenix needed truth. Someone who would guide her and show her the true nature of the Force, not expect her to snuff parts of it out without any sort of explanation.
Loyalty and Truth. Jahn offered both. How could she refuse? The thin twisted smile returned to her face. Already she could feel a bond growing between them. And this was no ordinary bond between a Jedi and Padawan, no, this was stronger. It was stronger because they would embrace the Force entirely, and as it was. They would not pick and choose the 'right' parts of it to study. They would not bow to it like slaves. They two would seek it out, all of it, and command it. It was their destiny, surely. They would show the galaxy what it meant to be Masters of the Force.
I will be forever at your side... Master. She said this with a respectful tilt of the head. They would do it together.

Master? Janh shut his eyes for a moment. He had been preparing to take an apprentice before he left for Zeltros. The Force worked in wonderful ways. Phoenix, I'll teach you everything you need to know to set you on your feet. Walking in the Force without the crutch of the Jedi Order can be difficult. He looked over his shoulder I can show you the path but it will be up to you to follow. After your training is complete your are my equal, my partner. None of this Master business.
Jahn felt a disturbance, perhapses he was being paranoid. There was something about their open dissent and sitting in Republic space. This was a luxury world, he assumed many of the patrons were senators or other influential members who came in contact with the Jedi regularly. Of coarse it was not a logical thought, no one could possibly recognize them.
I don't feel safe here. We should find some place to spend the night, recharge. I have a ship docked that we can use tomorrow to get off this planet. We have places to go, he would be sad to see this planet go. It was peaceful here but there was work to be done.

Phoenix's eyes flashed with a near fanatical excitement as Jahn responded. Yes, the Order was a crutch. They kept their members dependent upon them. But Jahn would lead her until she could walk on her own in the full power of the Force. He held no pretense of superiority. He would not try to control her or hold her back. She nodded, shifting in her seat as if she might suddenly burst with anticipation.
I've already got lodging. She said. He was right. They would have to be careful from now on, no matter where they were. The Jedi had eyes and ears everywhere, ready to bring down those who would journey beyond their tenants. Her eyes too scanned the room. Though she was a prominent hand-to-hand fighter, she could feel the absence of her lightsabers as if they were limbs that had been cut from her body. She would have to construct new ones. And what better time then now? She would create more powerful ones than she could ever have made under Gordon's tutelage.
Standing up, she left some credits on the table for the drinks. holding up the pouch she was keeping in them, she smiled. My would-be slave trader decided to finance our quest. It was his... dying wish. The words came out with a laugh as they exited the cantina.
The rain had all but stopped, and so they made their short walk to the resort without getting wet all over again. A clerk from the main desk showed them to the suite that Phoenix had rented out. It was not too large, but stylish enough, with two rooms, a living area, and a kitchen. Before leaving, the clerk handed Phoenix a pouch of credits. Phoenix tipped the man and then held up the newly acquired pouch. For the ship I came in on. She explained. We shouldn't need to worry about our finances for a while I think. And with that, Phoenix bowed her head to Jahn and retired to one of the rooms to sleep.

[Again sorry for not posting last night, twas party time after work. So I left this half awake present for you when you get on in the morning. hope you enjoy ] Jahn followed without a word. He was thankful for the girl's resourcefulness. He was exhausted. Never before had he channeled a vision. Those that came to him before were gifts of the Force. The Jedi did not condone demanding such a gift, but Jahn discovered such feats were not beyond mortal limits. Though the exertion left him drained. So he followed Phoenix to her sweet. Again the young woman surprised him. She was able to produce more credits than the Knight had ever possessed. Much less had indirect access to. If Jahn hadn't acquired the use of his own ship, he was sure she had enough to charter them a flight and then some. Though credits were a dangerous power, they were a convince but they were traceable. Jahn wasn't necessarily against running into Jedi, but it was something he wanted to put off. For now. And tales of two beings traveling to a remote Jedi Grave planet spread fast. After settling in he nodded his good night to Phoenix as she slipped into her sleeping chambers. He sighed letting the weight of the day melt off him. Lazily he fell into a chair at the kitchen table. Gently he removed his saber from his hip and set it across from him at the table. From here he had a view of front entry, the hallway leading to Phoenix's chambers, and the back side of the sweet. No rest for the wicked... He mused with himself though he felt a drop in his heart. The path he was beginning was long and tiresome. Dangers everywhere and full of old friends who's views made him an enemy. His thoughts traveled off to Master Vreem who had both accompanied him to Kashyyyk and stood up for him before the Council. For Jahn's sake he hoped their paths never crossed again. They both stood too much to lose. He pushed the memories of the past away and fell into a meditation. He would guard the sweet while his companion slept. He hoped rest came easy for her, she would have a long day ahead of her. Hopefully tomorrow, in the quietness of space, he would find the peace of mind to sleep. There was far too much risk in sleeping now. He was probably being paranoid again but he had promised to protect Phoenix. He intended to make good on that promise. Jahn was coming to depend on the girl he had met. The bond he felt toward her was driving him, he couldn't let her down.

Phoenix had slept well. Perhaps it was her confidence in herself, or in Jahn, or perhaps it was the experience she had so recently escaped. She had been brought down to nothing, and had risen back to, no... beyond her former self. She had complete confidence his her strength, her ability. Even without her lightsabers, she knew she could call on the Force, and it would be a powerful tool in her grip. So yes, she did sleep well, but not long.
She awoke very early in the morning. The sky was just beginning to show the hints of sunrise when she stirred. It was as if her body couldn't be kept still any longer. She was alive with anticipation of their adventure to come. She quickly groomed and cleaned, then dressed. Dawning her black boots from yesterday, tight black leather pants, a sleeveless black shirt whose collar stuck up about an inch around her neck, and deep red tabard, which had a deep v at the neck, and hung to her knees both in front and behind her. She tied this tabard close in with a dark black sash, which was wrapped around her middle many times and secured. The outfit turned out, as she observed in a mirror, to be somewhat similar to a jedi's, but more stylish. She smiled at her reflection before gathering her few belongings and exiting the room.
There before her, Jahn sat in meditation. Had he been there all night? She noted his lightsaber sat on the table before him. Ah, standing guard. The corners of her mouth curved into a small smile. She considered waking him from his meditation, but knew that he would sense her presence, and that would do the trick. So instead, she set her bag on a chair nearby him. I'm going to gather a few supplies. Shall I meet you at the ship? She said it as a question, but in truth, it was what she was going to do, regardless. She would follow Jahn as long as he kept good on his promise. But he would not control her. She would heed his advice and learn from him, and even do his bidding if she agreed, but she would also do some things her own way. She was sure he would understand that.
And so, she was out the door before hearing his response. The market outside the resort was coming to life with the rising of the sun. Already, vendors were calling to pedestrians to take a look at their wares. Phoenix moved through the crowd quickly, only sparing time to view the items they would need. Food rations were the main items she purchased. She had two parcels with her as she began to exit the market when a certain vendor caught her eye. Well, it wasn't the vendor, it was his products. He had a number of droids for sale, most of which she wouldn't hazard a second glance, but two in particular caught her eye.
Small and domed along the top, flat on the bottom, they sat next to each other on a shelf behind the vendor. Seeing her interest, the Zeltron immediately launched into his sales pitch. Phoenix ignored them, studying theit smooth black dome, which had lines indicating a number of compartments that could open. The droids also had a single ocular lens of some sort. She lifted one of the droids and turned it over, studying the chromium bottom, which housed the droid's repulser lifts. These little beauties could come in handy. She haggled with the vendor for a moment before 'convincing' him to lower his price. She walked away, the droids floating along behind her. She had practically stolen them.
Phoenix, done with the shopping, reached out with her senses to hone in on Jahn's location. She picked up his signature and began to follow it, assuming that he was at the ship, ready to depart.

Jahn felt the change in the room as Phoenix woke and got ready. He watched as she gathered what she had and then left the sweet in the hunt of supplies. Jahn had no response for the girl. She both didn't need his approval for gathering provisions, they would need them on the trip, and likely wouldn't heed him if he asked her to stay.
Grudgingly he rose from his makeshift post and moved into the back rooms. Jahn stepped into the Refresher for ten minuets. He needed to keep up his appearances epically on this pampered planet. He didn't want to stick out. He spent a few more moments grooming and cleaning up. Jahn cleaned the black battlesuit and pressed his cape. Then, donning his crisp armor, he left the room after replacing his saber to hidden hip holster.
Slowly he made his way through the streets. He wanted to take in every detail about this planet before he left. Jahn doubted he would ever return to a place devoted to relaxation. Soon he came to the docks where his ship was docked. He spoke briefly to the lane attendant and watched as his ship was brought out and prepped for flight. He smiled and thanked the Zeltrons, Jahn didn't care much for flying and prepping was one of the key reasons for his distaste. He took a moment to observe the starcraft watching for any incongruities. He would wait to board until Phoenix arrived, so untill then he inspected the ship.

The scout droids whirred as they floated behind her. She entered the hangar and quickly spotted Jahn. She approached as he was inspecting part of the ship. Handing the supplies off to one of the prep crew, she turned back to the Knight.
I hope you don't mind, but I took the opportunity to purchase these two droids. I believe they will help us as we search out the truth. If the saying "two heads was better than one" was true, well, then it could be inferred that six eyes were better than four. They could search out locations twice as fast, and even lower the risk of being discovered by the wrong people.
Then, the prep crew leader came up to them, informing them that the ship was ready for departure. He then wished the two safe travels and a speedy return before rounding up his men and clearing the hangar area. With a satisfied smile, Phoenix turned to walk up the ramp into the ship. It was small, but perfect for their purposes. Just enough room for the few supplies they needed, and enough umpf in the engines to get them where they needed to go. Turning back to Jahn, she felt a ripple of anxiety coming from him about the ship. He didn't like flying.
Shall I take us up? She asked, willing to take on the job. She was good pilot, and rather enjoyed it actually. Again, she didn't wait for an answer, but moved directly to the cockpit and began to run through take off procedure. She started the engines to warm them up, and ran a quick check on all the systems, her eyes scanning the controls with expert speed. She then waited for Jahn to enter the ship, raise the ramp and then take a seat in the copilot chair before she would raise the landing gear.
Her two scout droids had silently followed her onto the ship and still hovered near her. She smiled up at them, over her shoulder. She was already becoming quite fond of her little toys. Go find a nice secure place and power down, my lovelies. We'll have need for you soon enough. The droids obediently floated away and settled down on a shelf in the cabin. Before powering down, a slight thud could be heard as they magnetically attached to the shelf.
