Personality:
Terrix Young was not like most of the pilots around, a prodigy in a certain aspect. Terrix had to work the hard way, battling to get his place. Every time he accomplished something, he was always seen as a hindrance to his flight group, forcing him to accomplish things on his own. That was why he got to be known as Maverick, someone who doesn’t trust anyone in anything. Terrix has always been serious, rarely cracking up. He always tried his all in his duties, sometimes even ignoring orders. He dislikes the prospect of getting thrown out of the Republic Navy, something he had dreamt of being in.
Terrix knows his mission and always strives to accomplish it. Killing someone through dogfighting was something he didn’t mind, since it was a necessity since if he let an enemy go, they might be the one to kill him the next time they fought. However, close quarters combat was something he dislikes. To see the face of his foe dying up front was not a good sight for him, and he hoped that day never did come any soon.

Bio:
When the newest Young was born in the world, it became like a fairy tale story for the youngling. Born into a family that ran a small but stable business in Alderaan, he was seen as the future of the Young Family. His parents, Jamie and Elaine Young, chose the name Terrix Young, to commemorate their grandfather who just passed away. He was part of three children, a sister Eve and the oldest of them, Jamie Young Jr. Together, their lives were rarely troubled, and their dreams were always the same: to take over their father’s business one day.
Terrix Young was bright, reading books before even starting school. He wasn’t much of an achiever, preferring to just whiz past school. His brother was someone Terrix looked up to. He was always around when Terrix was in trouble, and helped out his father no matter what. Terrix lived by the day by just surviving school, almost dropping out once if not for his brother’s intervention. He slowly began to wonder why he was born in a family of hard working Alderaanians when he himself is a failure. His sister became a very known singer on Alderaan, leaving him the only failure of the family. He slowly doubted himself to actually being able to inherit his father’s business, and became more of a depressed boy. By the age of 14, he already lost his smile and his bright glow, replaced with an emotionless man.
By 15, he suddenly lost interest in inheriting his family business. He couldn’t tell his father, nor would he dare confess to his brother. He didn’t know what he could do, what he planned to do for the future. That was when either destiny or mere coincidence literally fly past him. A Interceptor Class Star Fighter flew past so fast that he couldn’t make out what was its model. But it was due to that, he finally found his calling here. He understood why he couldn’t work hard enough to inherit his family business. He wanted to become something not many people would want him to become, a Star Fighter Pilot.
By 19, he was ready to leave Alderaan to join in the Galactic Republic cause. He wanted to become a pilot, and for four years, he had been waiting for this chance. Much to the dismay of his mother, and anger of his father, he chose to leave his home. His brother, although disappointed towards Terrix for leaving the family, supported his decision, while his sister has already left the family to travel around the planet. With that, he began his journey towards becoming a pilot. He went to enrolled in the Naval Academy, a dream he has been chasing for god knows how long.
By 20, he was under a certain officer, who, though notices Terrix maverick attitude to him, was able to accept Terrix as a excellent pilot. A few missions that they flew, although not high priority missions, still showed how exceptional the young Terrix in flying capabilities. He was slowly promoted to the rank of Lieutenant after a terrific display against the enemy, getting an ace in that battle. It was after that, his transfer orders came. The officer, aware that he is losing one of his important aspects in his squadron, bid him good luck and hoped that the CO will understand the young boy.
By 21, he faced obstacles that forced Terrix to have trouble in the field. He was ordered to follow his flight into escorting a convoy. Mid flight, however, Terrix located a certain enemy convoy without an escort. He reported to his superior, and wanted to take down the convoy, but was ordered to stay put and ignore it. In a fit of rage, Terrix looped his Star Fighter to his left and chased down the Convoy. After forcing it to surrender, he was reprimanded for his ignorance of orders, and, although was seen as an achievement in bringing down an enemy convoy, he was punished for his actions. It was then when he became known as Maverick, and for two years he has been known as that, making a lot of Squadrons refusing him.

” Damn him! That convoy is definitely something. No escorts and in our territory! We need to do something, not just fly past it like nothing!” the crimson hair pilot contemplated in his mind. He didn’t want to leave his mission, but the enemy convoy that was flying in the Galactic Republic Zone was no friendly. Whatever it holds, Terrix knew they could catch something out of this rather than just the safety of their own asset.
“ Sir! Permission to engage the convoy! We need to catch it!” Terrix practically shouted through his communication link.
“ Lieutenant Terrix! You are to cease questioning your orders! You are to continue your flight with our convoy and ignore any other convoy you find! Do I make myself clear!?” the reply came at an almost rage filled voice.
Without replying, Terrix pull back on the lever of his star fighter to bring him towards the path of the enemy convoy. He could already hear anger coming from his communication link, but refused to listen to it. He sped his way towards the enemy, knowing later he would get reprimanded for his actions. His target system beeped as he managed to get a target on the single ship convoy, and he switched to a general link.
“ This is Lieutenant Terrix Young! Surrender now or you will be fired upon!” the youngest Young bellowed through his communication Link.
In response, the ship totally stopped, leaving Terrix to power down his weapon. The aftermath of the travels were less interesting than that very part of it, he escorted the enemy ship towards the convoy and they found out it was a major smuggling scheme of their own enemies. Terrix Young, already established as an upcoming pilot, was then seen as a Maverick, leaving him with that name to tarnish his reputation.
Terrix Young woke up in a pool of sweat yet again, swearing under his breath. He kept on dreaming of this over and over again, to the extent that it became a bad dream for him. He wondered, if he didn’t engage the enemy, would he have still been in his squadron, not being pushed here and there. He cursed under his breath, of the ill fate he has now. He slowly witness the sun rising in Kuat, and began to wonder when would he get inside a Star Fighter again.
