Hark ye;
Here lies all informatics, plottage, schemage, persons, and booty related to the great ship the Bohemian, and all its persons, plunderers, parties and loot therof.
Official Theme Song: A Professional Pirate
The Ship Herself: Click.
Characters:
Lordura Acciaio Rivoltella (Kella)
Role: Captain
Asyr Yevor (Rugs)
Role: Contact Manager, Habitual Lecher
Ocelot (Jace)
Role: Master of Bad Assery
Sierra (sparrow)
Role: The Kicking of Buttocks
Roma (Meira)
Role: Everyone's Favorite Blind Cook
Pau (Silas)
Role: Tough-Luck Bloke
Jaleqe Terrin (Twysper)
Role: Resident Kleptomaniac
Pending Characters:
Just about full-up, at the moment.
NPCs of Note:
Buck: 7'1, 53 years of age, white hair, dark brown skin, Kiffar.
Wields a machine gun that ought to be turret-mounted, and/or his firsts -- affectionately named 'Patience' and 'Persuasion'. Has been with the Bohemian since its christening voyage as a pirate ship, over twenty-five years ago.
Timminy Flomes: Late twenties, Omwati, very petite. Socially awkward. Brilliant computer engineer and hacker, her social ineptitude is every bit as remarkable as her genius. Unable to hold down a job due to being horrendously blunt, among other things, Timminy Flomes finally found an employer willing to put up with her... uniqueness. Never, ever call her anything but 'Timminy Flomes'.
Michelangelo: Mid-thirties, Balosar, twiggy build. Paranoid hypochondriac. Also the best damn turret gunner you'll ever meet. Something about the Bohemian speaking to him. It's hard to tell, he mutters a lot.
Marien: Of all the crew, Marien knows Lordura best, which happened somewhere between comradely and Marien's way with people. She's a stocky woman, but don't doubt her when she says it's all muscle.
NPC Stubs:
Dice: Has a gambling problem.
Morrick and Zorrick: Twin brothers -- built wide and muscular. Used to be professional wrestlers. Like to get into trouble.
Plots:
Vs. the Black Bha'lir. Pirates raiding Pirates. You know that's right.
Vs. Merchants. Common fodder for the Bohemian, and it ought to give some of the merchants on the site something to do.
Vs. Minor Dignitaries. Nothing so bit as to attract the retribution of the Republic, but dignitaries often have things worth stealing. Again, a good way to engage some of our PC politicians.
Smuggling 101. It's a simple, easy smuggling job, right? Of course not. Republic Checkpoints, offended crime syndicates, and rival smugglers abound.
Threads:
A Bohemian Lifestyle -- Takes place shortly after a stop on Rodia. Other than that, somewhat vague in the matter of timeline, and currently open to all characters, barring blatant timeline conflicts.
Here's to Luck
-- Takes place after A Bohemian Lifestyle. For Roma and Pau! But open to the whole crew, of course. :3
Warranty Not Included
-- The next raid after Here's to Luck, still on the Hydian way. The Bohemian hits one of Sark's shipments, which seems like business as usual until (of course) there are a few surprises...
Notes:
The Bohemian is notorious among smuggler and pirating syndicates -- but not on the Republic watch list. It's an unspoken rule -- avoid directly offending the Republic. Morals have less to do with it than the armada of obliterate-your-puny-little-ship-in-seconds cruisers, and never-ever-leave-the-system-again checkpoint lock-downs. The smart vultures don't mess with the lions.
The Bohemian spends anywhere from three to four months in space, before stopping in-port for anywhere from two days to two weeks.
Those who double-cross or otherwise offend the Bohemian tend to find their lifespans forcefully shortened.
