So, you think you've got an idea for a mission that could affect the galaxy as a whole? Great! We'd love to hear it! Below you will find instructions on how to go about getting your ideas heard and, possibly, approved. So read on, ambitious SWUvian, and learn how you can put your mark on the galaxy!
First of all, I'd like to be quite clear on the difference between suggesting a mission and posting up an RP request. The Missions Template is to be used when suggesting ideas that will affect the galaxy at large. This section is not to be used for finding someone to RP out a plot for your personal character; that's a better fit for the Roleplay Request section.
What we're looking for here are suggestions for RP threads that will have a broader effect on the galaxy. This could be seen as something of the space between a private thread request and a Major Event. These threads will cause lasting change throughout the SWU universe.
The most notable difference you will find is that before a mission can be opened up on the Missions Board, it must be approved by the admin team (Jenno, Meira, or Jace). This is to ensure that approved missions do not interfere with the SWU plot as a whole (this includes plot points that have yet to be put forth).
So, now that you're sure your suggestion belongs here in the Missions board, what exactly do you do next?
Well that's easy! Just take the Missions Template (code below) and PM it to any of the admins. We will then deliberate over the suggestion and provide the necessary feedback. Please be sure to provide as much relevant information as possible so that we can get a complete idea of the suggested mission.

Mission Name: Like what you would title a thread. Interesting names can often draw in people to participate, so get creative!
Planet: Where exactly will this mission be taking place?
Major NPC Characters: Not everyone is going to be a PC character, so let us know who the big NPCs are, and what their role in the mission is.
Number of Participants: How many people do you think this mission will need? This is for PC characters
Participants: This section is for those who will be involved should the suggestion be approved. In other words, this can be left blank for the time being.
Mission Requirements: Are there any limitations to this mission? Can only certain types of characters participate?
Mission Briefing: Here, give ups the details of what all this mission might entail. It is also important to include what faction(s) will be involved. Also, let us know if you have a specific outcome in mind, or if you leave it open.
