Mandalorian Military Missions Army Mission Name: Prelude to Conquest Planet: Gargon Major NPC Characters: Commander Teniel Shrike Number of Participants: 2-4 Participants: - Ambria Arcane- Jorra D'ReshMission Requirements: Must be Mandalorian Army or Spec Ops Mission Briefing:Highly sought after for its Phobium deposits, Mandalore’s eyes have turned towards Gargon. It is very well defended by the Republic, but through the sacrifice of a Mandalorian scout a potential weak spot has been found. A listening post on one of Gargon’s mountain ranges has become severely understaffed due to the Sith war effort. Lead by Commander Teniel Shrike, the Bothan was recently demoted. Once considered a promising young officer, he is now shunted to the listening post on Gargon. With a token force to guard it, the opportunity to get a foothold on Gargon cannot be passed up. The strike team will drop from orbit into a clearing at the bottom of the mountain, and take the station as quickly and quietly as possible. Failure is not an option. Navy Mission Name: Fight For Intimidation Planet: Space Major NPC Characters: Republic Convoy Number of Participants: 2-4 Participants: - Mission Requirements: - Mission Briefing: The Perlemian Trade Route connects the Core Worlds to a series of Republic planets upon the edge of the Outer Rim. This is a vital trade route for the Republic and an important target for the Mandalorians. There is a large convoy heading towards the planets on the Outer Rim, if the Mandalorian Navy can wipe out the Republic’s forces and cut threaten the supply of resources, they will make a much greater name for themselves. If these supplies can be captured then they will serve as a great help to the continued growth of the Mandalorian Army. Spec-Ops Mission Name: Road to Glory Planet: Space Major NPC Characters: -Raol Vain: Pirate Lord (Dutch) Number of Participants: 4 Participants:- Mandalore the Reclaimer- Shannon Bralor- Ari Weyland- Thel ValamdaeeMission Requirements: Be a Mandalorian! Mission Briefing:With a new focus being set for the Mandalorian people, Mandalore’s information has revealed the legendary warship: Par’jilaHowever this information has also noted the presence of a band of raiders who have also discovered Par’jila. This band of pirates is led by a most feared man: Raol Vain. A Feeorin pirate reputed to be as brutal as he is fierce; his raiders’ reputation matches his own. They have set up a base of operations within the ship- an insult to the Mandalorians. It is clear they have not been able to bring the ship to full operations, due to lack of manpower and knowledge. This means no weaponry, which means it is ripe for the taking. Mandalore has assembled a strike team to reclaim Par’jila, to return the vaulted ship to her people. The goal is to land aboard the warship and take out the pirates: With extreme prejudice. Afterwards they will call in reinforcements to man and begin repairs on Par’jila. Mandalore herself will be leading this mission, keen to gain her new flagship. Mission Name: Mandalore’s Favor Planet: Concord Dawn Major NPC Characters: Clan Leader Brosk Ke’ll, Jrosk Ke’ll, Eran Ke’ll Number of Participants: 2-4 Participants: TBA Mission Requirements: Must be Mandalorian Mission Briefing:Clan Ke’ll has always slid under the radar when it came to Mandalorian politics. Not strong enough to make grand claims, not weak enough to have been removed from history. Though they rallied behind Mandalore the Liberator almost immediately, weeks have gone by and they still have not thrown in their support for Mandalore the Reclaimer. It is Clan Ke’ll tradition for males to take the leadership roles, and it is rumored that their leader Brosk Ke’ll is none too happy to see a woman taking the mantle. An older human, Brosk has long been a traditionalist. Having still not received any word from Clan Ke’ll, Mandalore has tasked a group of her loyal Mandalorians to go to Concord Dawn to meet with the representatives of the clan. They are to talk to the members of the clan before the meeting, to get a general feel for how they feel about the new Mandalore. The representatives include Brosk himself, his son Jrosk and their loremaster a Rodian woman named Eran. From what has been heard, none of them are particularly fond of the Reclaimer.

oh nooooooooo triple poooooooost Anywho, speaking of things in threes, the other two missions have been posted up. If you're in one already, I'd prefer it if you didn't sign up for any of the others for now. Cheers!

Lol, such a shame that Thel is already on an awesome mission; I would totally send him to negotiate with this unruly clan otherwise xD. If nothing else, he's a wonderful deterrent to violence...and a healthy dose of it if needed. xD

Well the thought was that these three mission would take place around the same time. However if one of them is in need of another player I'd be fine with you tossing Thel in. Give people a bit to sign up first though :3

*sees how quickly first mission filled up after posting* Guess you have to be an early bird around here... Darn me and my non-all-day internet life and job search-related activities. But anyway... I'd be interested in signing up Ambria for the Gargon mission. [She was previously on Gargon here; though the thread never got off its feet, I can freely infer what might have happened, if need be.] Plus, I think this one might fit her skill set a bit more. Though, the diplomatic one might be easier, since the spec ops base is on C.D. So either would work, but I think I would prefer the Gargon one for Ambria. Lt. Ambria Arcane, ready for duty. PS: Unrelated comment: are these missions instead of the major Mando plottage that we usually discuss in the plot discussion board, or in support of?

Just wondering.
And if you want to somehow weave my earlier thread with Ambria on Gargon, let me know. Like, maybe if she would have a contact or something like that.
In the meantime, I shall wait for others to sign up.

If you want a Republic traitor or contact or w/e involved that Ambria knows, I'd say go for it.

Well, it would be a Mandalorian from a hidden cell, since the purpose of her (and the others') earlier mission to Gargon was to find them and train them into better shape (at least, if the thread had continued, it would have, lol).

That could work too, though the current Mandalore wouldn't send people who'd 'need to be in better shape'. She's kinda neurotic like that. If you wanna make them a small NPC pairing/unit to aid those on Gargon, I'm cool with that.

Well, following that unfinished thread/mission to its logical conclusion, those 'rebel'/hidden Mandos would no longer be in bad shape, but highly trained. Or at least much better than they started out to be. And she wouldn't be sending this contact if I used him/her. The NPC is already on Gargon. Ambria would probably just use him/her for intel and possible reinforcements, like you said.
But either way, it'd depend on whoever else signs up for this mission, anyway. So it doesn't really need further discussion until then.

Hmmm, well, whenever I finally finish Jor's profile and get him through the approval process, I suspect he could easily get involved in the "Fight for Intimidation" mission. Gonna have to... Oh, might need to talk with you Dutch about Jor actually, as I am considering making him a Rear Admiral and not sure if we currently have any major players in the Mandalorian Navy and so on and so forth. REVISE: I just realized that Kulan is also in the process of making a Rear Admiral as well. Hahaha! Sooo... I suspect I might take suggestions from you Dutch on what kind of character you might actually NEED within the Mandalorian Navy.

Once approved, post here to get him involved.
I'm pretty sure we have a couple Rear Admirals for the Mandos, and we already have our Fleet Commander (who is in charge of the entire Mandalorian Navy).
Lemme know once approved and we'll talk.
