Bio: Arkandos was born into clan ordo on the world of Mandalore to a pair of dutiful parents and warriors more than twenty years prior to the start of the mandalorain wars. His father a colonel in the mandalorian armed forces dutifully began training him one he reached the age where he could hold a blaster rifle and a war sword. This continued for many years until his father was killed in battle by friendly fire during a raid on a world in the Unknown regions. Devastated he wrapped up into himself like most mandalorians his connection to his father was strong and his loss haunted him greatly. The members of his clan rallied around him and his mother after his fathers lose and their support help Arkandos greatly in recovering from his father's death. After a appropriate period of morning his father's father began teaching in much of the mandalorain lore Ark while it came down to his mother to actually train him further.
At the end of his training just before the ceremonies he meet the woman who would become his wife soon after he was officially considered a adult. Telimium was a fellow member of clan ordo and twelve years Arkandos' senior a proud warrior she quickly fell in with Arkandos; though not with out some speed bumps, and finally married him when he was twenty four. To his great pleasure when he joined the mando military he was assigned to the same vessel as his beloved wife and in the next three years she would give him both a daughter and a son and while he loved both his children he came to adore his youngest Eli'demu. He trained his son and daughter together due to their close age and it was clear the three had a strong bond and despite the danger to them Ark recived permission to bring his family aboard the Dreadnought Besk'ad when the mandalorian wars broke out.
Assigned to a assault unit Phelan was involved in many of the first battles of the mandalorian wars including the assault on the Cathar world. In the years following he was asked what he felt of the attack of the world and all he would say is that it was a honorable battle the truth was that he felt the mandalorians had truly attacked a world that offered a people mostly incapable of defending against them. Despite some of his reservations about the choice of some of the military's targets he was still a mostly model soldier and served with distinction throughout the first decade of the mandalorian wars. This began to change subtly after the attack on Surroco Ark was disgusted with high command's decision to bombard the world with nuclear devices what honor is there and attacking a enemy who could only sit and watch there world die he would ask, but worse yet he found out that his missing wife and son had been part of a recon patrol sent to Surroco one that was left to die in the nuclear holocaust. When he learned this he flew into a week long rang ending in a assault upon the commanding officer of his platoon and a stay in the brig.
After six months in the brig he was released and transferred to a newly formed special operations unit, though command called it a elite assault Ark and the other members of the team began to call it the execution platoon due to them all having spent time in the brigs of various ships over questioning of the command and the constant suicide missions they were tasked with. Amazingly despite a ninety-nine and a half percent casualty rate Arkandos survived six years in the unit right up until it was dissolved though not with out his fair share of scars and a arm and eye down.
With the ending of the unit he was transferred to the unit of his surviving family member his daughter Eli'demu now a honored warrior in her own right. They survived the destruction of the warship Besk'ad at the battle of Jaga's cluster and where brought with the rest of the force to the world of Althir for reinforcements and re-armament where they where caught in the devastating republic assault during which they became separated from the bulk of the unit. It was during this battle that his mortal coil was almost extinguished when he fell defending his daughter and with some of his last breaths he watched the republic troops grab her before the remaining members of the unit drove them back and drug the dieing Ark back to the central mandalorian base and it's remaining medical ship.
He lingered just on the verge of death while on fully artificial life support for two weeks while the doctors debated what to do with him. Ultimatly the decision was made by command not his doctors and the decision was made to house his brain and life support systems in the hull of a heavily modified republic Kuat-class assault droid. Upon fully waking up from a medically induced comma Ark was more than a little displeased with his condition and despite it being his only way to stay alive he attempted to pull his own plug. Perhaps as a way to appease him they sent him and a gaggle of other mandalorian crusaders to raid a republic prisoner of war camp holding his daughter along with over two-thousand other mandalorian soldiers.
The mission more than proved his capabilities as the newly minted cyborg strolled relatively easily though the withering carpets of blaster fire as the droid shields and beskar armor soaked up the plasma bolts. After crashing through the main gates with the soldiers trailing behind him the group separated and spread out around the compound as Ark and a dozen soldiers marched on the central headquarters. Ark personally found his daughter in one of the interrogation rooms of the compound. At first he didn't recognize his beloved daughter and indeed did not meet with her until they were all safely aboard a mandalorian cruiser on their way back to the space over mandalore. To his horror his daughter refused to believe it was truly him for months before he finally managed to prove it to his horrified daughter who began looking at him more and more like a monster. Ark buried himself in his work as he hoped desperately that with time Eli'demu would eventually come to accept him as he was now.
Arkandos continued to serve all along the front becoming something of a legend among the mandalorian troopers as he single handedly blunted infantry assaults and even devastated jedi attacks in at least two occurrences before the end as it were. He was sent back to mandalore where he reunited with a more sympathetic and whole Eli'demu who rushed to the cyborg as he left the landing ship dispite the looks of other mandalorians many of whom likely believed he was simply a droid. He spent almost a month on mandalore with his daughter and to his great surprise his new son-in law and grand child. Soon the war infringed and he was moved to Dxun mere weeks before the republics full fury fell on the moon of Onderon.
Upon Dxun the mandalorains attempted to withstand the republic's full might and Ark himself was a bulwark holding out at the main space port for several hours against increasingly strong republic assaults as fast blockade runners made the harrowing run though the republic fleets above to evacuate the injured. Finally he and the remaining defenders fled to the runners leaving just before a orbital bombardment leveled the area. The pace quickened with out him as the frigate they fled to was sent on a long range attack even as the mandalorian and republic fleets converged on the Malacor system. As they arrived at their destination they received word of the Mandalorian surrender.
The crew of the Frigate spent the next three years avoiding the republic just on the edges of their space as they bided their time and slowly limped towards mandalore. Eventually well after the war ended the ship crash landed it's self on a uninhabitable world in the mandalore system before arriving in several smaller ships to world it's self. With the republic patrols still stations on world Ark was forced to remain hidden even as he attempted to find his family, but within a few weeks it became clear that the search was hopeless particularly in light of Ark's inability to move freely within republic space.
Over the decades and centuries that separated the mandalorian wars and re reconquest of mandalore and concord dawn by the mandalorians. Arkandos spent much of his time in a form of comma between times of waking when he would send his ever dwindling freinds on forays to seach for his daughter then his grand daughter and soon he gave up upon the search entirely and was moved to Dxun with many of the other mandalorians and their equipment during the period of mandalorian secret resurgence following the end of the jedi civil war.

On Dxun he was drafted to be something of a loremaster for the young mandalorians many of whom had never rightly been trained in the ways of the true mandalorians and much to his surprised he found his duties very satisfying becoming unconsciously something of a father figure to many of the mandalorians there.
