This is Elssar Ransen reporting for ENN.
Today I bring a story of hope to your ears. After the recent hostilities with the Republic and their ‘Blades’, the Empire now has the opportunity to look to the planets on the Outer Rim that need its help.
With the Republic’s lack of financial stability, the planets that have suffered the worst have not been those nestled within the Core. Instead, ‘diplomacy’ chose to put the greatest sacrifice upon the poorer planets of the Outer Rim, leaving many without homes, food or any way in which to sustain themselves or their families. Even before they led themselves into a weak economic position, the Galactic Republic never dedicated a great deal of its time to the struggling planets of the Outer Rim, planets that lack many of the benefits those in the Core experience. This cruel abandonment leaves many with only death awaiting them.
However, the noble and benevolent members of the Sith Empire have shown themselves quite eager to help the people of the Outer Rim planets. On many worlds where children and adults lack the food and shelter necessary to get by, the O.R.P.A. initiative has been brought in, in an attempt to provide these people with the essentials they need to survive. Not only this, but those who are willing and able to do so are being given the opportunity to join the Sith Empire military so that they might support themselves and direct their own lives. There are even a few who have been welcomed into the Sith Order, which helps protect the Empire with unparalleled strength.
Where the Republic leaves the remains of its own failure, the Sith Empire moves in to help those who are in need. General Kail, one of the co-founders and supporters of the initiative, in a conference earlier today, claimed that this was the start of great things for the Sith Empire, and a clear example of how its presence and continued existence would be a benefit to the citizens of this galaxy.
With the ongoing success of the O.R.P.A. initiative, a number of diplomats have begun talks with other planets in the Outer Rim on how they can help the people and their governments get back on their feet.
