Name: Garen' jai Race: Gen' Dai Age: 1,000 Height: 11' 3" Weight: 300 lb. Appearance: Garen' jai has never been without his Cortosis Battlesuit and helmet on. However, Gen' Dai generally look the same. The only Gen' Dai ever seen in the Star Wars anything was the mercenary known as Durge. Birth Place: Unknown Profeesion: Mercenary Bio: Garen' jai is a mysterious mercenary whose past is unknown. Republic Authorities once had data on him, but the data was erased. The person who erased it is unknown. Garen' jai is under Garuuba the Hutt's employment. As Gen' Dai have no weakspots, and are imune to most injuries, Garen' jai is one tough opponent. Another Gen' Dai trait he posseses has been noted. While fighting a Jedi Master, the jedi sliced Garen' jai's arm. The blood veins stretched out from his wounded spot and pulled the arm back on and it healed in seconds. Garen' jai's armor suit and helmet are made of Cortosis, a Lightsaber-proof metal. Jedi must find another way to fight Garen' jai.
Skills: Security, Computer Use, Power Shot
Ship Name: Modified Republic Cruiser, the "Patroller".

Accepted- (Temp Recall?)
Seeing as how you've lived a 1,000 years you are going to have to put a little more on the bio. Also can you make your character a reasonable height for his race (6'5-7'2) is something I believe to be accurate.

While I have accepted your character something has occurred to me, and that is your Cortosis Battle Armor. Know that I am not making you change it rather you should just know that the statement about Lightsabers being incapable of penetrating the armor is false. Because even though Cortosis can hold up to a Lightsaber this metal will still be cut by the weapon in time. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cortosis

I'd like ot add my 2 cents here. Cortosis is definately LS resistant. Axel is right though, though pushing it even farther, Luke Skywalker learned how to tune his LS to actually cleave the stuff.
Another little bit about cortosis. It is apparently extremely difficult, and expensive to create into plates for armor. Thats mentionned as a side note in the New Essential guide to droids reference book, under the "Cortosis Battle droid" You might find it on Wookieepedia if you look for it.
Wookiee is definately a good source for info.

The fact that I even have to type this, sort of points towards the reason.
Okay
Number one: History. You have an almost godlike character, who is nearly impossible to kill, and there's one. repeat, ONE paragraph of history. In my eyes, if you have any less than three, you shouldn't warrant anything better than a fourteen yearold pickpocket. Fortunately, Cyberguy doesn't see the same way.
Two: Your history. You're not known for your marvelous roleplaying skills. Until you can prove that if you have a god character, you can actually roleplay him correctly, I don't think you should be allowed one. For the obvious reasons. I'm not saying you're a horrible roleplayer, I just think you don't have the best judgement and you wouldn't know how to accurately roleplay with a character of this stature.
Three: Technology, the tech you mentioned in your bio, is disputed above. If you want reasoning for it, look up...three or four posts.
Until you make all of the above requirements, this character will not be re-accepted.
Unless another moderator has something to say, I'm locking the thread.

What's this about me?
Alright, so, here's what I have to say on this here:
Yeah, Myn was right about your history, and you need to work on that.
But, Myn, unless you would like to initiate a rule about banning the Gen' Dai, there's no reason why he should not be given the chance to rewrite and revamp his character. Because of this reason, I am un-locking this thread.
Infiltrator, you must re-write this character, pretty much entirely. Right now he seems like Durge with a new name. So change that, get creative, and I, being in charge of The Fringe, will re-review.

Hey Infiltrator, if you want some suggestions on Tech, and some information on the Gen'dai I've studdied them a bit.
Basic run down is that they are actually a naturally kind yet reclusive species.
Durge was sort of a black sheep amongst his own people, enjoying bloodshed and death over anything else.
According to current lore, the Gen'dai are more or less un- destroyable. However, If your character were, say to be detonated, emploded, "Mortally wounded" (Compared to most other species), or be-headed, you would have to put this character in the <Unusable> box, for a duration of time, so that he could hibernate and recover from the extensive injuries. I'm not sure what the lore says about the Gen'dai and their relationship to Kolto, or Bacta, and if they can even use it.
The only way I think a Gen'dai could be killed for certain, would be if he were to be incinerated/vaporized.
"By nature, Gen'Dai were mostly non-aggressive. They were rarely seen, as their home world was lost for ages. Though nearly immortal, the minds of Gen'Dai would weaken with age, making them vulnerable to various mental diseases.
Gen'Dai had a life-span of over 4,000 years, some even recorded to live over 7,000. Due to the nature of their nervous systems, they had extremely good senses, to the effect of being able to feel a Human's heartbeat from ranges of up to 200 meters." -Wookieepedia "Gen'dai"
Some might consider a nervous system like a boon, but then again, consider the fact that with the right weapons, overload of that system would cause unbearable pain in a character like yours.
Just another two cents... now you have 4, one more penny and you can buy an icecream cone....in the 40s.
