I read this in one of the post Ep. 6 books, there is a type of humanoid with wings similar to the picture below, flight is possible. Howeverm for the life of me I cant seem to remember the name. Anyone have a clue what im talking about? This is the character race I am goign to stick with on this site, admins, have at it.  |

Sadly I cant say for sure. The only thing I remember from the book was Admiral Ackbar crashed his B-Wing into one of their structures.

Yes, it's in one of the first NJO books, either the first or second (or one of the trilogies in the NJO era) Admiral Ackbar's craft (b-wing) was sabatoged and made a crash landing into one of the species major relics. He was able to eject Senator Leia Solo from his craft, but he stayed in it. After the crash he became depressed and exiled himself to a deserted part of the planet.
I know this thread is old, but I was looking through it and saw this and just had to answer it.
