The Empire had added another battle to a string of resounding victories. Yaga Minor is now under the Empire's control, and you can rest assured that many planets will follow. It's one more step to prosperity in the Outer Rim.
At first, it seemed as if the operation would be compromised, as the Republic had learned of the Empire's plans to attack (a matter still under heavy investigation). However, this turned out to be a victory in disguise. Despite the forewarning, the Republic was unable to defend the planet -- an indication of its poor organization and resource delegation.
The Republic forced the evacuation of the planet's citizens, who the Empire would have gladly welcomed into its fold. However, we are happy to report that due to the precision of Sith Forces, there were no civilian casualties, and very minimal Sith casualties. Only four hours after the first ground troops landed, the Republic forces had retreated, tail between their legs, and the Empirical troops took complete control over the planet.
Despite the victory, the battle had not yet ended. Before evacuating, the Republic rigged their factories with highly sensitive explosives. It seemed that if they could not have them, no one could.
All is not lost, however, as the elite Empirical Explosives Neutralization Unit (EENU) has been deployed to neutralize the remaining explosives and render the factories useful again.
I'm sure you're asking, who will reap the benefits of these facilities? You will, citizens of the Empire. These newly acquired resources will accelerate our plans to bring prosperity to the Outer Rim. And, with your support, perhaps the whole galaxy.
With first the acquisition of Rhen Var, and now Yaga Minor, the Republic will have no choice but to confront the failure of their systems and policies. Perhaps, if the Republic is a sensible as it claims to be, we will see it surrender to the superior Empirical system within only a few months. However, only time will tell.
Ever dedicated to bringing you to the frontlines of Empirical news, the ENN should be your first stop when assessing the state of the Galaxy. Remember to stay tuned for updates.
