Factions: Pirate Fringers(yet to be named) & Mandalorians~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Greetings Mandos. As you may or may not already know, some members and I are starting up a pirate crew with a base of operations on Ambria. If you look here, at coordinates C-6, you'll see that we're operating right next door to your Mandalorian system.
Thus the point of this message is that I wish for us, (we don't have a name yet), to create an alliance/relationship with your forces on Dxun. If you take me up on this offer we will help prey on Onderon's shipping as well as smuggling arms and kolto from nearby Manaan to your Mandalorian forces.
The catch? It's not a steep price. I just ask that we be able to receive Mandalorian aid in the event that we find ourselves in deep sh*t and be able to seek sanctuary on Dxun should Ambria get invaded(it shouldn't because our base will be highly inconspicuous).
I highly implore y'all to take my hand in friendship because over time the benefits to both of us will grow and prosper.[/b]

Question: Why would kolto need to be smuggled from Manaan? It's independent, the Mando's are free to go there and buy it.

And how exactly is that going to help Mando relations with Manaan in the future? It'll be pretty obvious something is going on when the Mandos suddenly stop buying kolto yet still get it... and then, when the Mando reclamation efforts are done, and they want to be a legit government that has diplomatic ties to other systems... what are they gonna tell Manaan?
Also, I highly doubt that one pirate group can continually supply the amount of kolto needed for the Mando war effort. Unless it becomes your full time job, which kinda defeats the purpose of being pirates, doesn't it?

Unless it becomes your full time job, which kinda defeats the purpose of being pirates, doesn't it? ok, simple! The Mandos can keep buying so as to keep that relationship going with the Selkath and we'll raid republic freighters leaving Manaan with kolto from time to time to bolster both ours and the Mando's supply of it. It is too much to ask for us to pick up the job of supplying all of the Mandalorian forces with a steady stream of kolto. Thus, what we do get is sent to the forces down on Dxun. If Mandalore feels the need to move excess kolto from Dxun to forces in other systems that is on him.

*shrugs* seems redundant to me. But I suppose it's up to Jace what the Mando's decide...

Forgive me... he wouldn't shut up.
Itani: I may be mandalorian but I don't honestly know much about them.
Us... whatever.
I thought honor was high on their "Things we have Shoved up our *****" list. It strikes me that this group isn't serving honor with the filet mignon.

Riiiiiight, we aren't the most honorable bunch, but I don't think all Mandalorian allies in the past have been honorable either. And come on...Mandalorian sense of "honor" is sorta askew when you look at the things they've done.
If something is controversial and the Mandalorians feel strongly about handling it "with honor" then we'll easily step back and let them do their thing.

Not really, Mandalorians are alot like the Japanese of the Fuedal Age, they believe the highest honor is dying in battle, in fact come to think of it honor is gained in battles, whether physical or simply trying to survive in an uncompromising environment like a dessert or jungle.
Also, loyalty to clan is verrry improtant, along with doing everything you can to help strengthen it, other clans and Mandalore. Other than that rules of honor when it comes to Mandalorians is kind of lacking. If you'd like to know more I suggest going to Wookieepedia.com

When I said askew I was comparing it with say like Jedi "honor" in regards to innocents and life and prisoners. In fact we might have Mandalorian mercs on our crew which could very well possibly be what sparks negotiations between the Captain Gustav & Sykes with Mandalore or who ever is in charge on Dxun.

This just in, after talking with Jace via PM the pirate group will not be allying with the Mandalorians. Instead we'll work to make a name for ourselves and eventually gain the attention of Shards Dominion whom we will join.

Pirates can be very very attractive allies, as well as very difficult adversaries. There are certain things that I can guarantee the Mandos want done, people they want dealt with, things that they can't be directly seen interfering with, situations that need..."massaging".
The Offer, as far as I see it, we're offering a favour to the mandos.
We scratch your back, you scratch ours. We're Privateers and as such, we believe in being good neighbours. And not turning down a good business opportunity when one presents it's self.
Honor is good and all, but sometimes you need somebody to put a knife in somebody's back. That somebody is us.
You know where to find us.

Well said comrade, conman. *slaps your back in approval* But alas, Jace(Mandalore) has turned down my offer. But if they ever change their minds, the offer will still open.
