Appearance: Cade seems like a healthy though stern young man, teeming with vigor, even though his past would indicate otherwise. Black stubble surrounds his mouth, covering chin and jaw. He has long, dreaded, black hair that reaches down until his chest. He also has a trademark yellow Kiffar tattoo on his face, located horizontally 0inbetween his eyes and his nose. He has a very sturdy and muscular build, though he's not overly bulky. His body is scarred and battered from battles of yore and the many tortures he endured. His eyes are dark brown, sometimes they would even seem black. His skin is tanned slightly. He wears a combat vest and pants the most of the time, seeing as they're convenient and he likes the way they fit. Some would say he is handsome in his way, some would say that he has an intimidating presence. But that would depend entirely on the kind of person judging him.
Personality: Cade's biggest strength is his motivation, dedication and focus. Extremely strong willed and ambitious, he constantly strives to become more powerful and influential. His weakness lies in that he often underestimates his rivals and opponents, the arrogance of youth still evident. Due to the extremely rough life he has led thus far he became slightly eccentric, and manifested some quirks and twists of his own.
Throughout his live he has lived by the same principle; adapt and overcome. This in combination with his strong will made him able to overcome situations thought nigh impossible to. Due to the hardships of his life he had beaten he convinced himself that nothing is impossible, and to take nothing for granted. If there was something he craved, he should reach out and claim it.

Cade Nocturn remembers little of his life before his twelfth year, he may have blocked these years out, or he may have lost them.
He was born to Radac and Jano Nocturn on the lightning-ridden surface of the planet Kiffu. Radac was a respected officer in the Kiffu military, having earned that position due to his expertise in many aspects of the military profession and undying loyalty. Radac firmly believed that Cade would succeed him, and made him follow a training regime geared towards increasing his physical prowess and combatical skill.
Though his family appreciated and loved him, the relations tensed as his parents became increasingly violent in the household they resided in. To him, and each other. What caused this is still unknown to Cade to this day and he doesn't care one bit about it anymore. Like I said, he either blocked out or lost these years.
Thus Cade became the victim of domestic abuse, until he one day he lost control. He blacked out when it happened, but woke to find his entire house had been torn apart, as if a giant arc of lightning had leapt from his hands. His parents fried and smoldering in a heap on the far end of the room. And so Cade would have his first taste of the chaos and power that encompassed the dark side of the Force, though his ignorance hindered him from finding it.
He moved from foster parent to foster parent for a couple of years, before he was shipped to a military institution. In which he was harassed and attacked constantly by other children. He would fend them off every time, and eventually, he gained a reputation as a hardened fighter, at the ripe young age of fifteen.
Throughout the next two years, Cade gained many followers, people who either respected him, or feared his wrath. Soon, the violence grew to the point where full out gang wars would ensue. Cade was soon taken from the institution, deemed to dangerous, and shipped to a prison camp on the planet Ryloth.
On the facility on Ryloth, which was situated in the Bright Lands, Cade gained a 'tough skin.' There, he was tortured mercilessly, and often. His mind smothered with the malicious emotions and memories of his rough past, his mind nearly snapped as he came close to full-on insanity. He would also be sent out into the Bright Lands for days on end. The guards would bet on if he would return or not. After many years, he showed the guards how capable he was and was sold as a slave-fighter to a crime lord that resided in the city of Kala'unn.
His servitude to Akruta Nue, a prominent Twi'lek crime lord, was strenuous at most. He originally was bought for the fun of him being pit against the man's various creatures kept as pets. He fought endless swarms of creatures, often being brought near death before besting the creature. He won his lords 'affection' and truly showcased his combat skills when he bested the lords prized Lylek, although Cade had always suspected it had been previously weakened, in preparation for the fight.
Cade was awarded a chance to win his freedom, he would have to fight against the Lords other prized fighter, a Human who had apparently also killed a Lylek. Cade agreed, believing himself to have nothing to lose anyway. The conditions for the fight were that there would be no blasters of any kind. Only natural weapons. This suited Cade perfectly.
The day of the fight was as any other, and the fighters met in the Lords arena. The bell initiating the battle's start. Cade was at the throat of the other, viciously attacking him. When he had been thoroughly ravaged, Cade went to deliver the killing blow, when the other man slipped a knife out of his pants and stabbed Cade in the shoulder. It cut through his flesh like it would through butter, but it wasn't lethal. This event was unseen to the masses, and so the fight continued, Cade grasping his shoulder, while being pummeled by the cheater. Cade blacked out shortly after, and woke to find the man torn to shreds at his feet, and the crowd was as quiet as a graveyard. Cade discovered the Force.
Cade, by all accounts, used a natural weapon to kill his opponent. So, he was awarded freedom. As soon as he could, he sought the Jedi for advice. He knew nothing of them, besides myths and rumours. He sought the Jedi for control. For he feared that his power would fade if he didn't achieve it. However, after a few months of basic training as a Padawan, was assigned to construct his first lightsaber. He chose the blue crystal, simply because he liked that color the most. His Jedi Master provided him with a blue lightsaber, since they deemed him not ready to construct one yet. This was because he joined the Jedi older than most others would, though they still wanted to train him in the ways of the lightsaber. Slowly, he began to dislike the Jedi. He discovered there, arrogance, and their self-righteous to be a festering disease, infecting the known Galaxy with their vile touch.
Cade knew now the horridness of the Jedi, and sought out the Sith.
Lightsaber: A blue one, given to him by his Jedi Master because he wanted him to improve his skills with the lightsaber, even though he didn't deem him ready to create one himself just yet.
