Name: Murr Dumaw
Race: Ithorian
Age: 12
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 132 lbs.
Appearance:

Rather tall for his age, Murr has shot up to grow into a strong Ithorian in general. His almost all black pupils are large but hold a depth to them, and his robes hide a muscular body. Murr is usually found in his traditional youngling robes or when meditating only a loin cloth, as he feels safe and surrounded by the Force at those times.
Personality: Murr is a quiet and thoughtful student, but also a cunning lightsaber student. He is curious and thinks things through, almost too much at times, and does things by the book if able. Murr relies on the Force as his strength and when influenced with it's power he can be bold and courageous.
Birth place: Coruscant
Faction: Jedi Order
Rank: Youngling
Bio: Murr Dumaw was born to a generally normal Ithorian family on the Republic's capitol of Coruscant. The third son of a political aide and his stay at home wife, Murr was raised normally as a child. Dumaw growing up's reflexes were noticeably faster than his older siblings and playmates, and after an informational flyer was passed onto Murr's parents they discovered this could be a sign of the manifestation of the Force.
Dumaw's parents met with a Jedi soon after, discussing Murr in general and his attributes. Murr went through light testing administered by the Knight, and his parent's suspicions were confirmed; Murr was Force sensitive. Dumaw's parents willingly gave up their youngest to be taken for Jedi training, and to this day Murr does not remember his parents.
Dumaw fell into the Jedi training regimen relatively easily. He was a curious child in general, and liked the rigorous studies of the Force, it's nature, etc. Telekinetics always interested the young Ithorian most and he practiced his skills in his room for hours on end. Murr also took to meditating in his room at night in addition to before training in the morning. The calmness and serenity brought on by his constant companion was one he strived to be closed with.
Murr growing up was also an apt student of the lightsaber. His blue training weapon was always by his side, and while he was a quiet student he was always ready to challenge a friend or even partial enemy to a duel in the arena. Dumaw proved himself as a well rounded student, and got along well with his teachers. He ate up the trainings and teachings adminstered by them and this steady information flow only served to expand his want for knowledge and skill.
Murr as he grew with the Jedi took to the facilities of the Temple. He was always a fan of working out in the small gym and honing his physical strength, but his favorite vehicle of exercise was swimming. Dumaw felt relaxed in the water, and would often just float and concentrate on the nature of the water itself in between laps. In addition to Murr's liking of swimming was also his reading. Murr would spend many a day buried in the Library, reading on various subjects relating to the Force, lightsabers, and history in general. The only time a reprimand was ever given to Murr was when he would end up late to a training session after losing track of time spent in the library.
Murr, as a solitary child, did not have many close friends, but the ones he associated with closely he regarded as confidants and trustworthy. This suited him perfectly well, and allowed him to follow the harder training regimens as he reached an age where he could be taken as a padawan. Murr was enticed with his natural power and has made attempts at harnessing Force Bellow; these tries were only barely successful, but is something that Dumaw looks forward to mastering.
Murr, after turning 12 only a few months before, passed his initate trials with relative ease and now waits for a master to approach him and for his real training to begin.

RP Sample: The Force is a river.
It ebbs, and flows. We float through it, a subject to it's wills, but at our summons it is always there to aid it's disciples.
The light sprinkle of water was the only sound that rang in Murr's ears as he floated peacefully on the surface of the pool of one of the many meditation gardens of the Jedi temple. Murr bobbed slowly, but his speed was neglible, and only his thoughts accompanied him in this state of bliss. Just the youngling and the Force, in a harmony undisturbed by other nuisances.
Dumaw appreciated the fellow training of the other younglings as they progressed along their fellow Jedi paths, but irritation sometimes overcame Murr at their clumsiness. He was also prone to failure and the superiority that Dumaw held himself to had to be broken.
"That'll be my goal, then..." mused Murr. Breaking his arrogance and sense of self importance would be a long journey but one he was determined to complete.
(( RP sample is a little short but I think it gets across Murr's personality well enough ))
