Jackson, or his preferred call sign, Jacks, wears armor provided by AccuSite Inc., specificly designed to link with his MKII AccuVis implant, modified slightly to allow for a military issue knife fixed to his chest for quick access, and a sidearm blaster on his right thigh as it is his dominant hand. His armor is decorated with some orange/gold representing his vengeance for the unnecessary loss of his sister, as well as much gray representing the loss of her and his father. Jacks' visor glows with a blue tinge from its internal aim assist which connects with his rifle and implant when warranted, and his helmet is a complete atmosphere assist system, allowing him to breath in difficult situations and chemical warfare.
Standing 6'2" tall, Jacks is the tallest in his family history, besting his father by only an inch and sister by much more. His weight of 195lbs is comprised of a very athletic body, although he weighs slightly more when dressed in his combat attire.
Overall, Jacks is a handsome man, with a bald shaved head, short trimmed light brown goatee, and blue eyes under his helmet. He is slightly tall for a human but makes up for it in his medium, but fit build and broad shoulders of most males in the military.
Personality:
Jacks is a very outgoing individual. His sense of humor and careless nature defines the majority of his personality as he rarely cares what others think of him. Often feeling the need to put his 'two cents' worth in any conversation he encounters, Jacks his an acquired taste amongst his peers. When on duty, he is focused on the task at hand, and very aware of his surroundings, Jacks is a very laid back person when not 'in the nuts', but knows how to kick back and relax when wanted. When off duty, Jacks tends to be a social butterfly, as he does not deal with loneliness well after the death of his older sister. Jacks enjoys a drink on occasion but often prefers to just relax among friends and talk.
After the loss of his entire family, Jacks became very driven to make his name known in the special forces. Although he is quite capable in combat situations, Jacks is often second best to himself, always pushing harder and harder, often landing himself in a more difficult situation then he was originally in. This confidence problem and lack of caring can often be confused with suicidal, but Jacks knows that if he dies, so does the Mullin name, and he will not allow that, at all costs.
Finally, growing up in a military family engraved great respect for senior officers and officials, both in and out of the service. Along with this respect, comes the lack of motivation to ever proceed past the rank of Sergeant. The field is where Jacks belongs, and where he will stay, his platoon and squad mates are his family now.
Skills:
Jacks received an implant at the age of 17 prior to military enlistment, helping him achieve his dream of becoming a long range marksman, at the base of his cranium allowing him to connect with the aiming software installed in his helmet, allowing him to sight in faster and have accurate aim at very long distances. This implant, called MKI AccuSite, was upgraded when he was enlisted with the Special Forces to the MKII AccuVis and accompanying software to even more so improve upon his reflexes and steadiness of aim throughout his entire body, allowing him to control his heartbeat and airflow.

Family Problems
Jackson Mullin was born on the iconic Mandalorian planet of Concord Dawn in the outer rim twenty five years ago today. During birth, Jacks' mother Paulea died, leaving only his father and older sister to care for him. Despite the difficulties surrounding being an only parent with two children, the Mullin family was very tight, and strong because of such, overcoming any obstacles in their path, such as taking care of a new born infant. Jacks' father Gord was a recently promoted Lieutenant Colonel in the Mandalorian Military, after many years of service in the special forces, thus the family was fairly wealthy compared to other families, and had a good name, but Gord's job required a great deal of attention now, and because of such, he was not always around, leaving his daughter Briana in charge of Jacks as his babysitter.
Despite his strong will to be with his family and care for his daughter and son, Gord's rank often had him working, both on and off planet, and Jacks was left to the care of his seven year older sister Briana, allowing her to be with Jacks and oversee his progression with age as an authority, and often motherly, figure in his life, both children destined to become military personnel themselves one day, as per tradition.
At three years old, Jacks began his training in combat and schooling as his sister had done seven years ago, whom now at the age of ten was quite capable of teaching what her father had taught her to her brother. Jacks and Briana had grown very close over the years, some would even say best friends, as they were often left to fend for themselves due to their father's absence, forcing both kids to mature very quickly. Jacks was very good at such a young age with hand to hand combat, schooling and military policy and could even drive most speeders and light shuttles. Jacks' one downfall was his shooting skill. Even though he was still young, Jacks showed signs of having poor aim and difficulty in firing large caliber firearms despite his obvious passion to become a marksman and his pure ambition to join the Mandalorian Military Special Forces as his father once had. Briana and he continued training throughout his life, focusing on his shooting skill (or lack of) and allowing Jacks to eventually take control of his own book learning and combat training at an older age, focusing on what ever he wanted to achieve when he became eighteen and was old enough to enlist.
Young Aspiring Adults
At Eighteen, Briana enlisted with the local recruiter for military training, and two years later, at seventeen, Gord signed for parental consent allowing Jacks to begin his basic training with the military one year early. When he was granted the rank of Private, and graduated from his basic training at eighteen, with much help from his instructors with his firearms qualifications, Jacks was immediately deployed to the same small, local base his sister had been working at, with a little persuasion from his father and the perfect set-up to begin climbing the ranks to someday fill his father's shoes.
After a year of nothing but training, boredom and politics, Jacks aspired to pursue his dream. After speaking with both his father and sister, Jacks enlisted in scout sniper training, knowing the difficulties he would have, but hoping the training he would receive would help with his disability. Jacks trained harder than anyone in his unit, and received tons of extra help from senior officers, mostly because he was the son of a Lieutenant Colonel, but when it came time to qualify for his graduation, Jacks' inability to shoot accurately hindered him and he failed, devastating him after such hard training and devotion, causing him to rethink his purpose in the military.
The officer in charge of the sniper academy met with Gord as a professional courtesy, to explain his reasoning for failing Jacks. During the conversation, as a means of offering assistance with Jacks' problem, the officer mentioned an experimental process which was looking for candidates with such difficulties as Jacks'. AccuSite, an off world corporation which developed hardware and software for the military had developed an implant which could greatly enhance one's ability to shoot and handle a weapon.
Although Gord was willing to pay the hefty bill, Jacks did not want to leave his family and was very torn between them and his dream. His whole life was on this planet, his mother died here, his sister worked here and this would be the only place he could see his father, whom was his idol. After much debate, Briana decided to accompany Jacks to Corruscant, to AccuSite's medical barracks and undergo the process with him, thinking it couldn’t hurt, and may help her move on in the military as well. Without hesitation Jacks said good bye to his father, and life on Concord Dawn, and traveled to Corruscant, on training leave, with his sister, for a two year program designed to enhance his ability to shoot beyond the normal human spectrum.
Born Again
Upon their arrival, Jacks and Briana were placed in a platoon with three other humans for the same procedure, Jarred Lisk, Grant Tribbs, and Sarah Brighton. Prior to any medial procedure or weapons training, many classes had to be attended and much paperwork signed, given that this was an experimental procedure and the side effects and mortality rate were still unknown. The squad, as any, grew very close, and after six months, the medial procedures were scheduled to began. Jacks was the first to go, followed by Sarah, Jarred, Grant then Briana last. All participants were informed they would be separated after their surgery to avoid any placebo effect, and to ensure consistency in subject recuperation and advancement. Briana was by his side during his preparation for surgery, and promised to see him soon.
Jacks was the first to go under the knife, and the first ever to have this process done with this particular software and hardware AccuSite had developed. The surgery was grueling and difficult, but Jacks proved to be strong and survived the process. After the procedure, and time to recover from the surgery required to fit him with the implant, Jacks began to regain his fine motor skills and start his training and evaluation at the facility, separated from the other candidates, specificly his sister, whom he missed dearly.
Jack's new ability to operate a weapon was incredible once he had learned to use the new recon armor provided along with this process. His accuracy was slightly above that of a normal human, his weapon control was even slightly faster now, and it appeared to the doctors and staff at AccuSite that Jacks had bonded very well to his implant, unlike the complications they were having with the other participants.
Jacks improvement impressed his observers at AccuSite. With a provided large caliber Blaster Rifle, designed to link with his visor and implant, Jacks was able to display accuracy at distances only few unmodified humans could. Having a taste for what this new technology could do for him, and with the progression he had shown, Jacks was offered the most recent development AccuSite had developed, an upgrade to the MKI AccuSite implant called the MKII AccuVis which was still in the basic stages of development, and in need of a preliminary volunteer subject to progress and fine tune the technology.
The MKII implant was designed to enhance the effects of his current MKI implant five times over, as well as aid with more then just his fine motor skills, but some of his major functions such as overall reflexes, steadiness and body control. Jacks signed up with little hesitation, understanding that this particular procedure was much more involved then the last, and he likely would have little bodily control for an extended period of time after the surgery, and a recovery time much longer then the last, making him unable to leave the site for even longer.
When Jacks awoke from the procedure, the pain he felt was incredible. His entire body ached and his headed pounded and screeched a high pitch noise. For nearly six months, Jacks passed in and out of consciousness, unable to control his mind or body. At the age of twenty, thirteen days after his birthday, Jacks woke up for the first time without pain. His head was clear, his vision perfect, and he felt as though he had a sixth sense about him, able to control his heartbeat and breathing capacity as if it was a limb of bodily function or machine.
After six months of recuperating, Jacks began his retraining again. The surgery had caused him to loose most of his basic skills and forced him to re learn them. He was clumsy and uncoordinated, and the thought of his sister lingered in his mind, he had not heard anything from her her nearly two years, and the doctors and staff refused to speak of her situation after her surgery, indicating it could alter the results of the testing. Jacks pushed on for the next fifty one weeks, relearning his motor skills and retraining in combat operations, showing exponential growth and development in his abilities.
Jacks firearms skills were beyond exceptional, he could control his heartbeat and airways to allow for the perfect shot, as well as his reflex enhancements allowed him to quickly jump from target to target with incredible accuracy and discipline. The implant imbedded at the base of his cranium now allowed him to connect and splice with many machine, VI and AI. His rifle, which had taken on further modification with Jacks, was now fitted to hit with the range and accuracy Jacks was capable of. On the AccuSite Inc. training grounds, Jacks was provided with a speeder bike, basic military issue, but modified with a VI allowing Jacks to splice and command without physical control. Many doors in the facility opened for him, which became a subconscious effort with time. The armor that Jacks wore, also provided by AccuSite Inc., was modified to allow for his quick movements and reflexes, leaving him more vulnerable to blaster fire. His helmet and visor linked with his rifle and implant just like before, but improved software provided better scanning and more intelligent heads up display.
Nearing the end of what the doctors called his rebirth period, where Jacks would fine tune his skills and learn to use the implant and equipment to it's full potential, Jacks became more and more suspicious of the doctors and their lack of knowledge on Briana. His assumptions led him believe she had simply traveled back to Concord Dawn and home to their father, and the doctors did not wish to make him any more homesick then he already was, but the thought of something else hung on in his mind and he could not wait to leave this facility after so many years to see his father and sister once again.
What the medical staff had not told Jacks, in fear it would likely disrupt the final weeks of his re birthing process, was that his father had passed away from natural causes shortly after Jacks and Briana's departure from home, and Briana, along with the four others in his platoon had not made it through the medical procedure, and died during their recuperation process after the surgery. In Briana's case, she was able to walk and talk briefly, but the implant had taken control of most of her bodily functions and shut them down, killing her shortly after the woke up.
The Pain of Solitude and The Honor of Commitment
Jacks returned home to an empty house and only the departing knowledge of his father's death. Although sad and heartbroken, Jacks knew this day would come, and mourned alone, longing for his sister's company.
The death of his sister was discovered shortly after his fathers, AccuSite released the results of the procedure, indicating of a 80% mortality rate amongst participants, and shut they down the program completely. At twenty three years old, Jacks was alone in the world and had lost all that had driven him to succeed. His father was his mentor and his sister was his only friend. The only legacy his family had left him was their military heritage and strong will to never give up in the face of difficulty.
Jacks now swears to uphold that tradition, and someday carry on the family name with honor. He colored his MKII AccuVis armor with gray and gold, swearing to always mourn his family's losses and avenge his sister’s unfortunate death with service and honor for all Mandalorians alike, he would put his new skills to good use and join the Mandalorian Special Forces as his father had so many years ago and fight for the good of Mandalorian mankind.

Jacks stood at attention, in rank and file with the 15 others of his squad. Four by four, the sixteen new graduates stood tall and proud, with only few medals on their chests. Regardless, this was one of the proudest days of their lives.
Jacks on the other hand, itched all over from the formal dress #1 uniform he was wearing, he always felt uncomfortable in it, too stiff from starch, and the fibers were nothing like the inside of his armor. The boots were too tight and had no sound suppression in them or ankle support, He could feel his belt cinched at his waist, squeezing his midsection tightly and pinching at the front from the buckle. Finally, the worst part was his collar. The tight button and outer collar was military spec sized, and felt like it needed to be pulled away to allow him to get a full breath, but he wouldn’t dare move, not in front of all these people.
On the stage, Jacks' drill sergeant, the one in charge of dress and deportment during his stay with the Special Forces training center, issued commands to the squad, showing off to all the proud Mandalorian parents in the crowd how obedient the men and women of their military were. Jacks grimaced and winced a little as he felt the tinge of his father's loss come over him, but quickly dissipate. Jacks' attempted to imagine Briana and Gord, his sister and father in the crowd. He imagined his sister crying with pride, and his father standing tall, almost crying, but holding it back because he was a “man” he would think.
After a few open and closed order commands, the squad finally received their certificates, and received the duty command, allowing them to throw their berets into the air. As they marched off the stage, most of the men and women proceeded to seek out their families for pictures and congratulations. Not Jacks, he was scheduled to deploy immediately. He looked at his watch – 1300hrs – he was scheduled to be welded into his armor at 1430hrs, a lengthy process involving sedation due to interfering with his implant. Jacks had this done before, once when he worked at the local base, then again at the AccuSite Inc headquarters when he woke up form his surgery.
One foot in front of the other, Jacks walked to the shuttle waiting for him. He looked back at the landscape, the people.
“I'll always remember this place” He thought, then turned again to continue walking to the Corporal waiting for him.
