A towering Trandoshan with a scowl almost constantly on his face, it's clear to see that he's been trained almost exclusively in combat and bulking. Several scars mar his thickened, worn scales. Biography: Hatched from a clutch of eggs on the Trandoshan homeworld of Dosha, Trulaf's life quickly centered on physical conditioning and weapon training. Poorly educated in academia, his skills lay almost solely in warfare.

Inspired by the selflessness of Republic Troopers at an impressionable age, he quickly pledged himself to the Army as a heavy weapons' expert. Trulaf is known within his squad to have a penchant for loud, grossly over-sized slugthrowers and repeaters.

Perhaps he's an oddity, a hulking reptile with a warlike people serving in the Republic, but to his fellow Soldiers, he's an invaluable, if not maniacal, asset.

“Alright, boys, hit ‘em fast, him ‘em hard! Carver, you take lizard boy and Zaroz over to that flank, discharge everything you got into ‘em! You three...”. The orders were given. Repeater in hand, Trulaf started off towards a slight spire in the distance. He and his comrade Zaroz flanked Lieutenant Carver, a thin-looking, pale human. The rest of the three’s squad took up firing positions amidst the rocky, sand-covered plains of Delari Prime, aiming their assorted rifles and carbines toward a mundane building jutting out of the desert.

As the three Soldiers slowed at the base of the spire, Carver signaled to Trulaf. “Lizardman... get to the top ‘a this rock and start firin’ soon as you can... Once your rounds hit the lab, the rest ‘a the company’ll move in. Got it?”, Carver said in his slow, gravelly, almost growling tone. Trulaf nodded curtly, hefting his massive rifle and stomping up the natural ramp that led to a higher vantage point on the orange-colored spire.

The hulking reptile lowered himself to a knee, squeezing one eye shut. He took aim towards the squat, camouflaged building not too far from his position. Trulaf squeezed a claw around the trigger, lancing out several bright bolts towards the compound.

“All units, forward, forward!”. And with that, the concealed Republic Troopers sprung from their hiding places, weapons blazing. A smoking crater was left in the side of the rounded outpost, the result of Trulaf’s barrage. Below him, Lieutenant Carver and Private Zaroz were crouched, squinting through the scopes of sniper rifles, relentlessly firing pinpoint bolts of energy into the laboratory. Trulaf pressed a claw against a switch on his repeater, resuming his bombardment. Carver raised his voice above the din, calling to the Trandoshan.

“Get a move on, Trando! We’re movin’ in!”, the officer roared. Trulaf slowly lurched off of his knee, jogging down the ramp. “Let’s go”. The three of them set off in a loping run.

Resistance was heavy - automated turrets, sentry droids, mercenaries... Several men were lost breaching the compound. Lieutenant Carver was already killed. Who knew how many more would die inside? The interior was well-lit and spacious. Trulaf cautiously paced down a white, pristine corridor, repeater leveled. Two Soldiers walked slowly behind him, blaster pistols in hand. The fireteam reached an intersection.

“Get ‘em!”. A shout. Trulaf jerked his head to the right, and saw three mercenaries, about to fire. Thinking instinctively, he swiveled to face them and depressed the trigger on his blaster. Flames poured from the barrel, instantly cutting down the unfortunate mercs. More ran around the corner, running headlong into the blaster fire. Trulaf bared his fangs, spreading his legs to counter the force pushing him back.

“This guy’s a freakin’ battle droid!”, a Soldier shouted. The repeater slowly died down with a resonant hum. The Trandoshan glanced back to one of the Soldiers. He flashed a grin of approval. “Command must be smilin’ on our squad...”
