Name: Dessel Telerix
Species: Human
Age: 38
Height: 6’7”
Weight: 210lbs
Birth Place:Yaga Minor
Appearance: He is tall which is what most people notice about him first. With his short brown hair he is easily forgettable. That is until you look into his eyes. At first they seem just your standard hazel but when you are closer you see many different colors some of them being brown, or green or yellow, the most predominate however is gold.
Bio: He grew up in a moderately wealthy farming family in the outer rim. The planet was often victimized by pirates and developed a strong militia to defend itself. Dessel, who had a strong sense of justice, didn’t like these pirates who would come and victimize his home world so he joined the militia to defend his home world.
He worked hard to defend his home and found that he was really very good in space battles. He soon found himself rising to command the two corvettes and four fighter squadrons that defended his planet from pirate’s raids. When he was 31 the Sith Empire began to reform and his planet joined in an attempt to gain them selves more security.
With that Dessel was transferred to the Sith navy with the provisional rank of commodore. He soon proved that he deserved that rank as he led a campaign against a much stronger pirate force in the Tion Cluster. He destroyed the pirates in a series of battles while preserving nearly 93% of his entire force.
This campaign made him a young star in the Sith Empire he found himself on the leading edge of the Sith Empire’s expansion with in a few years he had been given the rank of admiral and command of an entire fleet.

Dessel stood on the bridge of his command ship the Hissis. She was the most powerful ship in his fleet a truly mighty battleship. They were above a mostly insignificant planet. It did however sit at the juncture of two hyperspace lanes that dominated this sector. If the sector was to be brought into the fold and safety of this Sith Empire this world had to be taken.
Arrayed before his fleet sat a smaller fleet that was clearly in terrible shape several of the ships were leaking dangerous amounts of radiation. This planets people would benefit greatly from the wealth of the Empire if this is the fleet they had sent to appose the Sith.
Dessel scanned his over the three dimensional display of the two fleets. His fleet had deployed just as he would have ordered them to. The enemy fleet however had deployed in a line roughly in the same plain as his command ship. Armatures Dessel gloated to himself. This was space you could fight in three dimensions, most commanders forgot this.
Dessel began speaking orders to the command deck and knew they would be relayed. “I want those cruisers above us to hit the enemy five seconds after we have engaged the enemy. Tell them to make sure their firing solution is clear I don’t want any friendly fire.” He could hear one man behind him start relaying his orders to the commander of those three cruisers. He smiled this would be a quick battle. “I want our fighters flying screen for us. Prioritize their targets on any bombers that may happen to exist in the enemy fleet after that they can engage other enemy fighters. I want the line to stay tight, the last thing we need is a ship getting out ahead of the rest once we open up. Target the ships that appear the most fragile first. Maybe we can spook most of them with a few big explosions. Take us in.”
The Sith fleet moved silently through space in perfect formation. The fighters moving ahead of the capital ships and the three cruisers that were above the plain of battle held back five second from the main part of the fleet. The enemy on the other hand stood against the in a rag tag line. Their own few fighters launching out hoping to get the first blood of the battle and gain some crucial morale for their side.
The fighters collided first the Sith fighters, which we much more advanced, opened fire before the defenders could bring their small ships in range. Before the furball began the defenders had lost nearly a quarter of their force. They were no match for the more experienced and better equipped Sith squadrons. The Sith battle line passed through the furball with out losing a single ship let alone their shields in threat of collapse.
The capitol ships began firing at each other with everything they had lighting up the space between them. The defenders took a beating but held true a few of their smaller ships we destroyed in the opening few seconds. Then the three cruisers came down on top of the defenders. The defenders had no idea what was going and before the three cruisers passed through the line the largest ship had been crippled and were bleeding atmosphere into space.
Dessel saw the ship was bleeding air into space. He took pity on them “Gunners target the large ship bleeding her air. Vaporize her.” If they had been mopping up he would have captured the ship and tired to save as many of the crew as possible but this was still the heat of battle. The gunners obeyed and Hissis let loose a horrific volley against the ship. She exploded in a huge fire ball. No one would have survived.
It seemed that the large ship had been the flag ship for the defenders because after she went the defenders began to falter and break. The day was won now was mop up. “I want a general order to go out any enemy ship that turns tail and runs are to not be pursued. Let the crews go home, we can impound the ships when we land to take over the planet.” So another planet would soon join the Sith Empire either through being conquered and garrisoned by the Sith or through surrender. Dessel was very kind to enemies who gave up he hoped they would do that. Ground wars were not pretty affairs many people died on both sides. Too many.
