Hey there Ghosh, Jazen here. I'll be assisting you today. Now, as I said in the box, I believe that the quality of the post, not the length, is what matters more but since you asked for help in making longer ones, that is what I shall do. Now, I'd say you should start first so I can see your average length and work from there, but since you asked, I'll start with something basic and add tips in how to expand them as we go along. Sound good?

Night was something that never really existed on Coruscant. True, the skies darkened to black, the stars appeared in the sky above the planet and some being chose to sleep during those hours.....but the planet never really stalled. When the skies went dark, millions of lights lit the planet instead, from buildings to starships, making the planet a beacon even in the depth of night. The good and the honourable slept during these hours, while the wicked, foul and nasty took to the streets, crime and underhanded businesses loving this black time.

One such place that went untouched no matter whether it was night or day, was the Jedi Temple. Even when night fell, the Temple's inhabitants weren't all at bed. Many were still awake, either attending to their studies or the practice of the Jedi Arts, or simply talking with their fellows before actually deciding to join the realm of dreams. Some, like the members of the Council, were talking and planning the next step the Jedi should take in the war against the Sith and their role in the galaxy. Jedi came and left the Temple, even at this hour, off to a mission in the galaxy or on Coruscant itself, or returning from a mission instead.

Jazen was simply one of those Jedi still awake at the hour, plugging away at his studies. The library was all but empty, save for several older Jedi who were doing their own work and the Chief librarian, who never seemed to sleep. Jazen had been lurking for the past two hours now, studying up on the strange three eyed Gran. Some thought it was strange that he spent much of his time studying random areas or species but Jazen thought it was well worth the sometimes long nights; at least he would have some knowledge of what to do in case he ever had to visit the Gran homeworld or deal with one as a Jedi. Knowledge was greater then any weapon was after all.

But enough knowledge had been crammed into his brain today. A yawn managed its way from his gaping maw, his hand moving to wipe the sleepy drops of water pooling in his eyes away. He snapped the computer before him off, bowed his head to the Chief librarian as they passed and then started to head out towards his room. Exhausted as he was, he didn't see the person approaching in front of him....and just about knocked them both on the floor because of it. Luckily, his brain and body decided to snap awake for that moment and with a gasp, Jazen managed to sidestep around the kid just in time, though he almost fell on his behind anyway. Turning back to the person he'd almost had a midnight collision with, Jazen bowed his head as the words spilled out.

"Sorry sorry. I wasn't really paying...okay, so I was basically sleepwalking. Good thing I managed to wake up or we'd both be admiring the temple's shiny floors. Again, my apologies...I'm Jazen by the way. Don't think I've seen you around though....what's your name?"
