Personally I was quite fond of EP I. Not many people like it, but I do because it's interesting in many ways. Not only does it introduce Anakin, an extremely important figure, it also gives hints as to his origins, which it built upon on in EP 3 (The whole Darth pleagous [sp?] thing). Not only that, it has one of the best non-combat model ships in existence, and one of the first ships (in the post sith wars eras) to use a cloaking device. All in all, it was sweet.

What non combat ships? the Naboo mirror thing? It was a frigate, believe it or not, with a similar purpose as the Blockade runners. Go really REALLY fast, and not get caught without R2 to save the day.

I thought it was just a courier. This says we're both wrong, though. It's apparently an unarmed transport designed specifically for Amidala's use.

Hehe. There most likely a holdover from the jet engine intakes, though they could also be hypercomm antennae (very unlikely though feasible) or have something to do with it's atmospheric flight dynamics. The part of the thing I find most unusual is the way things are oriented ship-board as most of the time vital circuitry is located inside the ship where it is easily accessible in the case of an emergency.

From what I've seen in Starwars, there are two major trends in ships. Ones that are structured like , well, ships of today and have all the stuff accessible from the inside. ( Millennium Falcon), and ones that are structured like Aircraft and have their stuff accessible from the outside. Ie, the majority of Naboo's stuff. It seems that the Naboo craft are more traditional, and are built like aircraft, you can see it not only in the way their panels are set up ( the mirror ship) but also in their shape. The more modern ships seem to have most of their stuff accessible to the crew internally.
Any who, thats all speculative, and I'm really no starwars buff. I know more about real technology so thats what I end up comparing things to.

Indeed, I'm a bit of a jack of all trades. I know lots about everything I get involved in, even to the extent that I can randomly spout data that seems kinda accurate but is completely fictional. I can't tell you how many times that's bailed me out of a speech.
That's kinda what I was noticing too, but it's different in a lot of ways. The transport is supposed to be about 80m long, but it's built like a fighter with major power relays running to and from the sublight engines instead of the main reactor. Needless to say I'm an uber nerd in this. But we're getting off topic, as it was originally a topic about our favorite episode, not random tech that doesn't seem to add up.

Most of the stuff in SW doesn't seem to add up. But, for that hour and a half your in the theater, everything works...

Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. I simply loved it. The final battle of Endor was simply amazing.
The only thing bad I have to say about it is that the first part at Jabba's Palace was somewhat too long.

It's a toughy, but if I had to choose, I'll have to go 4. It's the original, you can't beat the original. Although they're all fantastic, except for Episode 2. I'm just not all that into political infighting, clone growing, and awkward romance.

I would say ESB, because it's hard to beat a cliffhanger ending like that! I remember seeing it and immediately jumping up and down in anticipation for what was to come.
