Cantina Fever (Open)

Ervisa Therani sat in one of her absolute favorite haunts in the galaxy, a small cantina with an intimate feel located on Prazhi. Ideally situated right on the Hydian Way hyperspace route, it made the perfect ‘rest stop’ for spacers of all ages, types, and experience levels.

Sure, the native Zexx were a little rough. And aggressive. And topped with incredibly sharp tusks. But they kept out of the way of off-worlders, and a de facto segregation ensured peace. It also meant the planet wasn’t massively crowded. It was a picturesque mix of natural scenery and facilities for spacers since the locals kept their distance.

The cantina itself was a small affair, but popular enough amongst its clientele. It was styled along Corellian lines, with a wide selection of traditional mixed drinks as well as the usual array of beers, wines, and spirits. And of course they had a sabacc table. But the siren song of gambling didn’t get a rise from the Mirialan fringer today, her pocket book was already as full as she needed it and she could afford to sit in the cantina drinking until hell froze over.

She eyed her half-empty beer, a nice ale from Chandrila. One of her personal favorites in fact. Not too bitter, and heavy on the malt flavor. Of course, anything would taste just fine after that many of them. She’d lost track of exactly how many she’d had. Ervisa knew exactly what her limits were. Well, mostly were. And she was right about there.

“Hello there my dear,” said a human male, stroking his ratty goatee and trying his best to give a seductive smile, despite missing several teeth and years of dental appointments. “I couldn’t help but notice a lovely thing like you here in-“

Ervisa cut him off promptly. “Sorry, not drunk enough for that. Well, yet anyway. Piss off.” The Mirialan smiled sweetly, a contrast to her words. “Shoo, shoo.” She waved as if herding a flock of unruly nerfs.

As she downed the rest of her drink, she overheard a conversation from the far booth. Her Jedi senses had a tendency to flare up randomly when she was drunk. The Force was still with her, even if she wasn’t with it.

“So Janson bailed on us an hour ago, said he had a better offer.”
“Damn. There goes our pilot. How are we going to find another one on such short notice?”

Therani rose shakily to her feet and wobbled over to the pair of spacers, feeling rather unsteady. She braced herself against the edge of their booth. “Did somebody say ‘pilot?’”

“Oh you have got to be kidding me…” The first man cradled his face in the palm of his hand.

“No, I’m suriouus. Serious.” The ex-Jedi closed her eyes for a minute and ran through a handy little force-detoxification technique she’d learned over the years. The Jedi Order didn’t exactly teach you ways to overcome being sh*t-faced drunk, but life helped you out a little. Away from the Order you learned skills. Real, practical skills. And she’d learned getting drunk was a hell of a lot more fun than just meditating, and with the right practice you could shake it off pretty easily. And of course, coffee helped a lot too.

She opened her eyes and noticed a steaming cup of the magical liquid in front of the spacer still cradling his face. The Mirialan extended a green, tattooed hand, pulled the cup towards her and started sipping it. Inside a minute, her speech was already sounding less slurred and her vision had improved a good deal as well.

“Don’t worry, I’m fine. Give me ten minutes and I can fly anything, drunk or sober. Actually, it depends on the ship. There are some I sure as hell wouldn’t get into without a drink or three in my system. Am I babbling? And if so should I put a sock in it? And why am I asking you anyway?” A smile appeared in her gray eyes, the blue flecks injecting a bit of vivacious life.

“Are you… all right?” The one with the open jaw was speaking now, clearly unsure of the Mirialan fringer’s mental state.

“I prefer to think of myself as all left, thank you very much. Have no fear, I’m totally sane. I don’t always make sense though, but when I do I don’t. See? I’m doing it right now.” She smirked a little as she sipped the beverage before her.

The first spacer had recovered now and simply looked vaguely concerned. “Look, I think maybe you’ve had a little too much to drink today. So if you just-“

“Oh don’t worry,” Ervisa interjected. “Give me an hour and I’ll be as sober as a… a… well, a something that’s really sober,” she said, finding herself at a loss for a good simile. Instead she sold the words with a grin, and extended her arm around the second spacer’s shoulders. “Give me a chance.”

"Hey, if you take off drunk and splatter us onto a hillside I'd be dead." The man frowned, a look of wary tension on his face.

“That you would be. Very, incredibly, and truly dead. Dead as a mynock sucked into an engine intake.” Ervisa Therani added in a tone that was very far from reassuring. “But don’t worry, I’ve never crashed and don’t plan on starting anytime soon. I like myself too much to die. In fact, I’m my favorite person.”

"We'll pass, come on mate, let's bounce." The man shot a weird look at Ervisa before getting up and leaving, with his partner in tow.

The Mirialan waved goodbye. "Toodles! Call me if you need anything."

She leaned back in the booth, and swung her legs up onto the table, tapping her boot in time with the music playing in the background of the establishment. It was catchy. And she was definitely a little drunk still, no amount of Force control over her body would totally eliminate that lovely buzzed feeling. In fact, she didn't want it to go away. She operated at her best with a drink or two in her system.

Slowly she started whistling along to the music as she contemplated ordering something to eat. It was probably around lunch time, and her stomach was grumbling.

She called up the menu on the booth's display and started to examine the offerings. Typical cantina food, which was fine by her. Her metabolism was fast enough to burn it all off anyway.

Ervisa looked up from the menu and noticed someone standing nearby. She waved, then went back to looking over the selection of food.

Zett had just done a bounty that brought him to Prazhi and to celebrate he had a little extra money so he found himself in a cantina.
not only in the cantina but betting playing sabac.
and to his surprise won the round.

then a drunk lady started some thing back behind him claiming to be a pilot and then what caught him was how fast she recovered and then that she had pulled a cup of what looked like coffee to her.
hmm a force user maybe? he said under his breath.

hmm... i wonder if i can get back to Coruscant if she has a ship.
he saw her wave at somebody and than sat down at the same table as her.
Hello So your a pilot?Zett let the words hang in the air for a bit almost waiting for a response.

'Hmm, if Tazaak had came here it would have been in the nearest scuzzhole', Garen thought to himself, before turning to the nearest dockworker and saying "Hey buddy I could use a drink, where's the nearest cantina"?"It's about ten minutes from here, it's great, real intimate if you know what I mean". "Alright, thanks I'll head there now", Garen said before walking out of the docking bay and onto the streets.

'Hopefully it's not to disgusting in there, but who am I kidding, I enjoy a good Zeltron dancer' Garen thought to himself jokingly. Garen was distracted by the sound of blaring club music outside when a poor man walked up to him and said "spare 10 credits for a weakened war vet". Garen pulled a ten credit chip and handed it to the man before walking into the cantina.

Walking inside Garen sat down on a stool and said "A supernova please", suddenly Garen was tapped on the shoulder and turned around to see a beautiful Zeltron women standing behind him. "Hey honey I saw what you did for that poor guy outside, I think compassion is sexy, wanna come over"? "I'm so terribly sorry, It so very hard for me to pass up such a tempting offer, but I am so very busy at the moment, maybe next time beautiful", Garen said before turning around and taking a sip of his drink.

A little later on Garen felt a force presence in the room, and turned to see a cute Miralanian woman. Because of her force-sensitivity and obvious attractiveness Garen decided to go talk to her. After getting over there she realized she was talking with Zett Rem, the bounty hunter he had worked with previously, so he stopped and said "Hey Zett, nice to see you again". after extending pleasantries to Zett he turned to the cute Miralanian and said "Hi I'm Garen, whats your name"?

"Pilot, yes. Ship, no." Ervisa twirled her hair with one hand. The long braid was fun to play with, and it was one of her favorite mannerisms. Plus, she really liked her long, raven hair. It was glossy, and she kept it in great condition. Always clean despite her rather nomadic lifestyle.

Well, extremely nomadic lifestyle.

She liked to keep moving. It was more fun. And it was more... more Ervisa.

"I don't own them, I just fly them. Sort of work for a place to lay my head and a few credits to have. But if you wind up with a ship and need a pilot, I'm your gal."

Ervisa chuckled at the second young man who'd arrived. She was pretty observant, and it was clear he thought she was attractive. That was natural, she was attractive. But it was also just funny to her. She easily had a decade on him, and boyish charm or not, he wasn't exactly her type. He just looked so damn young. She preferred five o'clock shadow and rugged appeal. Not... boyish appeal.

"Didn't figure you for a mixed drink man Garen, guess I was expecting chocolate milk maybe." She poked fun at his youth, or apparent youth. "Also, I didn't think the Jedi were big on drinking, which is a real shame. There's a few tricks you guys could learn about how to handle your hooch."

She knew he was a Jedi. Her sense abilities were still quite keen, and she would have spotted a Dark Jedi even easier. By extension, presumably he knew she was a Force user as well. And not a 'bad guy' either. But this also meant she couldn't dismiss the lightsaber on her belt as being a cigarette lighter. Bummer.

She pulled out a cigar from a side pocket in her duffle and bit of the tip, spitting it out onto the floor. Then she made an elaborate showing of drawing her lightsaber. With a snap and a hiss it activated, and she held the tip of the cigar to the navy blue blade, puffing on it. Just as she'd practiced it countless times, the cigar lit.

She deactivated the saber and returned it to her belt as she rolled the smoke around in her mouth. It was spicy and robust. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Ervisa blew it out in a ring and cradled the cigar between two fingers of her tattooed hand.

"Anyway, the name is Ervisa Therani. Pilot. And all-around interesting person if I do say so myself. Quite a talented woman, and so very funny. And modest of course." A roguish smile played out on her green face.

Garen snickered at the joke before saying "Hmm and I peg you as a two disease infested toydarians behind an outhouse kind of girl, now would you mind giving me puff”. Garen looked around the room and started chatting with a Twi’Lek before turning to a waitress and saying “Another round for my friends here, on me”. Garen thought to himself ‘maybe this “Ervisa” knew something about Tazaak , might as well find out’, suddenly the Zeltron woman from before came up to him and said “You don’t look busy, why don’t you want me”. Garen whipped around and said to her “I really am busy, and trust me, I do want you, but in the mean time you should me my friend Zett, kindest man you’ll ever meet”, Garen then guided her over to Zett and got them talking before returning to Ervisa. Sitting down in the chair across from her he put his sabers on the table and said “Come here often”.

Ervisa took another puff and passed the Jedi the cigar for a moment. She didn't mind sharing. Besides, it wasn't like that was her last cigar. She had plenty more to fall back on if need be.

"No Toydarians, with or without diseases. And definitely not behind an outhouse. More like one Corellian under a sabacc table."

She played some more with her long braid of hair, twirling it in one hand. Internally she was wondering exactly how much experience Garen had with women, after all, he'd made a rather rude implication about her and then immediately asked the quintessential icebreaker of 'come here often?'

"More often than you." She answered quite accurately. Prazhi was a semi-regular stop for her, one of the places where she'd frequently land herself on for well-deserved rest. And also excellent for finding another job.

Of course, she didn't need one just yet. She had probably a week's worth of funds saved up between her boot and her duffle. More if she stayed away from a hotel or anything and stuck to sleeping on benches. But comfort was nice to have on occasion, and she had to admit the allure of soaking in a real bath was too much for her.

Hotel it would be.

"I'm on Prazhi a lot. Its a stop-over for spacers, a place to refuel and catch some R&R in between stretches of Republic space. Also a place to find work. There's always someone in need of something. You just have to trust fate to drop something into your lap."

The Mirialan reached out and took her cigar back, and took another puff of the strong tabac smoke before letting it rest in her hand again. The trick was to not smoke it too fast. One puff every minute or two worked well in her experience.

"The real question is, why is a Jedi Knight on Prazhi?"

"Well if I told you that, I'd have to kill you", Garen said as he threw a semi-sincere smile her way before thinking to himself 'Hmm I don't think he came here, I should probably get going, but another drink would be nice, I guess one couldn't hurt'. Garen stuck his hand up and a waitress came over "One more for me", Garen looked over at Ervisa and said “would you like one more”? After the drinks arrived Garen took a deep breath and closed his eyes before swallowing.


Time passed and one drink turned into two drinks turned into three drinks, and Garen started to feel tired. Garen began thinking ’I don’t think I should have stayed for that drink, It goes against the Jedi way, but I suppose I’m not doing any harm, Tazaak isn’t here and what the council doesn’t know wont hurt them’ . Garen’s drowsiness began to get the best of him, but he fought it and kept awake, still conversing with the Miralanian and some other people in the bar, the drinks bringing out the social, outgoing side of his personality. “Hehe, alright I’ll tell you one thing Ervisa, I’m here looking for someone, now you tell me, what were you Jedi, Sith, and did you leave”.

Ervisa tapped off the ashes from her cigar onto the tray as she glanced down at the coffee she'd been drinking. Another stiff drink? No. She was going to back off her alcohol for a while and enjoy the pleasantly warm state she was in rather than risk getting into one of her more drunk modes.

"Well if I told you that, I'd have to kill you."

"Pffft. I'd like to see you try." Ervisa rolled her eyes and poked the 'order' button on the menu. It was time for food instead of liquid sustenance. The question had been which food.

But she'd settled for the Corellian pastry ryshcate for her sweet tooth, and a regional dumpling soup for the sake of having something with nutritional value. And of course refills on her coffee. She handled her alcohol very well, and the coffee just cut a little through the haze of warm happiness and added some extra lucidity.

The Jedi however didn't seem to be handling his drinks well. Three of them, and he was obviously starting to get drowsy. Ervsa guessed another one or two would have him unconscious on the table. Which would be an amusing sight to behold.

The Mirialan was just starting in on the ryshcate when Garen explained he was looking for someone.

"I'd say you found someone," she stuffed a piece of the pastry into her mouth. It was watering at the delicate and sweet flavor.

Quickly though, the Jedi asked her what she'd been and why she'd left. Ervisa was perfectly ready to respond with one of her typical quirky replies.

"All right, between you and me I'll share a little secret. I'm actually the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order in disguise. I'm on this secret mission to stop the Sith Empire from taking over the galaxy. Its pretty important you know. I have to find this secret weapon, you've probably never heard of it. Because its a secret."

Ervisa spun herself so she was sideways in the booth, letting her legs dangle off the edge of the seat as her back was pressed up against the wall. She picked up the plate with her pastry on it, and nibbled it leisurely.

It was on a whim that he had come to this planet looking for work. Business had been booming lately so the auburn haired man with a penchant for a laugh was looking for a little bit of rest, a drink, maybe some appropriate bachelor company. He'd heard that this place, Prazhi, was a good place for it as any if not better. Being a “registered” assassin and knowing the proper venues for traversing the spacelanes he had landed without issue as a small civilian transport. His garb was unassuming; a white tunic, beige slacks, and a darker leather vest that covered his skintight mesh armor. The smile, the garb, even his stride said nothing about his heritage or his loyalty to the Mandalore.

Loyalty... what loyalty? I don't have any of that on hand.

Yeah, yeah. Hey, when you're done painting me like a square can I at least get to the cantina? I'm thirsty and these three are interesting.

He'd been sitting at the bar for the first exchange. He had to stifle several laughs as the alien woman, too drunk to fish, had offered her services as a pilot. The one liners coupled with the very unusual color combination of her skin tone and mannerisms drunk, hell it was a snicker a minute. Even his reptile brain was drawn to the curves of the woman's body, her braid, her tattoos, her head-tai-

No. What? Oh, cmon man, that's just weird. Look at the rest of her then, that's spectacular! Ok, fine. A little lower, if you would. That's better.

His little ogling session ended when another few, one seeming to be familiar company, the other just another man drinking his cares away who... also happened to be wearing the characteristic robes of a jeedai! Ok brain. Think happy, non-stabby thoughts. Non-stabby, non-stabby, non-stabby... Thankfully he doubted he had reason to worry. He'd worked with force sensitives before and, as long as you were no threat to them you could be on your way without a cauterized hole through your sternum.

Obtaining a new drink he continued to glance over every now and then, catching pieces of the conversation in the process. He could tell by the fragments that one was named Garen, one was named Zett, and the hot Mirialan was named Ervisa. Smirking he stood, sipping his drink as he moved toward their table. His thoughts were happy and most certainly those of a drinker as he stopped just shy of the table as the two obvious jeedai stopped talking.

Aye, so secret that she'll have to purge the planet just for telling you. I think all that matters this moment is that she isn't cutting up the bar just for looking at her.

His lanky stride had carried him to their company with very little effort and his smile was patent as he stepped over to the trio with his drink in hand. That's right, patent tipsy. Taking a long gulp he paused, bobbing his fingers over each of the three assembled pausing on, oh, whats this? a fourth seat.

Itani, my booze gargling comrades. Would you mind if I join you? This looks like the fun-booth.

Just after starting to get somewhere with Ervisa another jedi this time walked besides him...he was shocked to see a former employer.

After a bet Zett asked Garen.

but it was to late he was getting drunk.

After Garen had only about 4 drink Zett had lost count and was still not done with his first...he normally would be but three things made him drink slowly today (1st) he was being entertained by the drunk Garen (2nd) he wasn't thirsty and (3rd) he was trying to convenes a Zeltron girl to leave him be.

But during the whole mess another person walked up to the table

In the corner though, a lone man sat a dark table with a beverage of sorts watched the happenings before him. So many force sensitives in one place seemed unusual but Kito was here to drink and relax before he was caught out by anyone trying to kill him or lure him to the light or dark side, just two different ways to beat around a bush in his opinion. He sipped his drink while keeping his drained eyes on the people of interest, quite happy of not being noticed for now. On the table was a pistol with two shoto looking weapons beside it, in reflex's distance so to speak.

He savored the toxic liquor as he placed the glass down softly before swallowing the liquid. He coughed slightly, the dotted scars etched across his tired expression stretched with his face as he smirked slightly as his eyes caught sight of his travel bag which seemed to contain something he was proud of acquiring on this planet. He looked up cautiously, making sure no one else would eye his bag, and if they showed too much interest then he might have to get out fast or kill the intruding perp' who that would be acting suspiciously. Kito couldn't afford to lose the bag, he needed it for a few agreements and deals with some 'friends. He grabbed his drink again, taking a swig of the intoxicating beverage and letting it fizz through his teeth and down his throat, still watching the bar flies and patrons.

"Go right ahead Itani, pull up a chair." Ervisa invited, gesturing to a few chairs at a vacant table. So far, no one was sitting immediately next to her. She was reserving that space in the event anyone she found attractive showed up. It was the 'snuggle' zone, the perfect range for her arms to do whatever the hell they wanted to.

Of course, she had no interest in any of the men now talking with her. Too young. She wanted someone with 5 o'clock shadow and some experience under his belt. These ones were too fresh, too inexperienced. She wanted a rogue, or even just someone older and sadder. Someone who'd been on the lanes a bit.

Her gray eyes fixed on someone in the corner, and their blue flecks sparkled. "Better," she said out loud as she smiled slightly.

This one was an improvement. Still younger than she was, but had the scars to show he'd been around the block a few times. He was also unshaven, and had a certain vibe that said 'potential' to her. Not necessarily perfect for her, but the best shot she had if she wanted to spend the night with company.

"Hey there stranger," she called out across the room, waving to the man. "Come join the party, I've got a seat with your name on it."

The Mirialan patted the booth next to her, and shot off a semi-seductive smile. Just enough to feel out if he had any interest she could work with. It was pretty hard to get someone into bed if you didn't have anything to work with. Not impossible per se, she'd learned that a couple times. But a willing romantic partner was so much nicer.

Prazhi wasn't where the former medic wanted to be, in fact it wasn't even on the top ten, but with the current amount of alcohol in her system she had trouble being bothered by much of anything. The bar she started drinking at got a little dull so she left and walked(stumbled) toward the location of more intoxicant (the next establishment). She had acquired a "chaperone" at the last location, a human dock worker, who was trying a little too hard to appear roguish. She sighed, she wanted some real booze, so she thought to head to the seeder section of town, the only problem was she didn't know where that was. "Where are the real bars?" She asked her escort. "What do you mean 'real bars'?" he asked with an awkward expression. "You know, a real bar?". "I don't know what you mean, there's a wonderful bar near my place?" He said with a cheesy smile. "I'll pass..." the Zeltron said with a sigh.

She wandered the streets for awhile before she saw it. -Now that's a real bar- she thought to herself, her hand went to her blaster on her hip and she walked as straight as she could toward the door. It seemed oddly Corellian in design, one could tell it was obviously more for spacers then the native Zexx. She walked over to the bar tender and ordered a Corellian whiskey and then proceeded to find a table, there were a few open and she sat down at the closest. There were several beings behind her talking loudly, the looked like an odd assortment of people, she even noticed a lightsaber on one or two of them. -Jedi? Here?- she thought to herself -He looks a little too drunk to be a Jedi? Oh well, I'll just drink my drink and leave the saber folks be. She decided and downed her first whiskey, ordering another.

took a longer more tasteful drink of what he had orderd...
a jury juice only thing it did not quite taste like jury juice and Shure as heck did not have the same affect he even after one should be at the least dizzie jury juice was vary strong it is said only two at once was hazardous to your health and yet he still wasn't drunk at all.

when the waitress came around Zett called her over.um... is this Jury juice?
"um sorry sir its not we ran out i thought i told you its just some import from Tattoine...some type of beer would you like me to check for you?"
no thanks this is fine.
the waitress shrugged it off and kept with her rounds.

and then Zett notacing another Zeltron come in also drunk probably from a another bar in town Zett had notaced a great Meany of them ranging from the public to the privet.

With all the grace of a Hutt and an attitude to boot, the next entrant to the Cantina seemed to push into the room like a force-ten hurricane, sweeping through the doors and glaring all about the room, her ruby eyes scanning about, as though looking for something. Of an average height for a Twi'lek her age, she was a little heavy, which could easily be explained by a simple glance in her direction. She wasn't quite ripped, but one could clearly see her Muscle structure beneath her bright-green skin.

What she was looking for was a face that seemed...a little too happy for it's own good. Someone had pulled a fast one -her father to be precise- and usually when he had pulled something like this, his messenger was easy enough to find. Laughing and drunken in a bar somewhere nearby. Scanning the entire bar, once...twice, her eyes near-glowed with anger. Pink she suddenly said, loudly, seeing if there was any sort of response. When the best that she got were odd looks that seemed to inquire as to her mental status, the woman sighed, fingers dancing across her temple as though to soothe the throbbing that she was currently experiencing.

Pala'Aola wasn't happy.

That wasn't saying a lot, but, it would do for now. If someone asked, she'd be glad to tell them all about her personally-Irritating life at the moment. Her least favorite color ever, as a young girl, she had personally found inventive ways to be rid of every article of clothing that might have been that mynok-sucking color, and her father's sick, twisted sense of humor had just...it was complete huttwash.

Yes, her birthday had been last month, and sure, she had hoped that he'd remember. A ship had been beyond her wildest dreams, but of course, her father, in all his silliness, would take it to the limits.
A damn pink ship she muttered, sinking into the bench of a table along the wall, under a fairly bright set of bulbs. Punching her order in, she waited for the Service-droid to bring it. She had splurged, yes, but she felt that she deserved it, so Six shots of something strong enough to peel paint shouldn't be too bad.

An Alcohol problem? Never.

Though I do know I post after Zett, which he did, so to keep the flow of this thread or whatever, I will post and see what happens. But most of the posts aren't entirely connected so I reckon Latus and slip right back in all cosey like.

She seemed quite bold to invite him over from the other side of the room and looked as if she was under the influence of particular beverages, making her consciousness seeming only precarious. He shrugged, downing the last of his drink and slinging his bag over his should with his silvery shoto's clasped in his other hand. He looked around wearily, knowing all too well what women are like in these places and may be payed to distract him so some thugs can knock him out while he's pissed and drag him out to a remote area on the outskirts..... never again he vowed, never again.

"Must be pretty good seat," he called back with a small grin on his face, "but I've been to a few parties... you think you can throw a decent one?"

He chucked the bag by the booth and sat down smoothly, placing the shoto's at the usual reach on the table. His eyes looked across the three other people, before focusing on Garen and tilting his head. A forcy... and a jedi one too, Kito looked him over with dead eyes that still seemed to echo a sort of darkness, the Jedi was holding a drink and seemed to be as intoxicated.

"Who's the monk?" he asked bluntly, grinning darkly, "I've never seen you're kind drink much." He reached his hand out on the table, causing the Jedi's drink to zip into his hand, before taking a quick swig and leaning on the back of the booth's seat. He kept his composure but kept his fingers on edge of the table, keeping his weapons in reach and his bag between his legs. Kito had encountered a few Jedi's, they seem as smug as the Dark Jedi but he guessed with all the power they've been given, their ego's had a good reason to be swollen. Kito himself though, never cared for religion, it was two people arguing over the same thing when either one was as noble as they were twisted.... he chuckled slightly, taking another drink.

"I'm guessing holy men are not the best company for you Miss..." he turned his attention to the Mirialan, hinting to her name might be.

"I'm guessing holy men are not the best company for you Miss..."

"Ervisa Therani," she provided. "And I am the party. Why do you think the fun booth is so fun? Drunk Jedi? Interesting, but not that interesting. Crazy Mirialan woman? Fun times."

She waggled her eyebrows when he came and sat in the booth next to her, dropping his bag next to her own duffle. Almost immediately she sidled up next to him a little close and fixed her grey eyes flecked with blue on him. They seemed to sparkle mischievously.

"Now what's your name sweetheart? I'd like to know who the looker is sitting next to me."

She matched that question with the movement of her foot up his leg.

Yes, she was coming onto him. She was hoping for some sort of interesting evening. No shame in that. And besides, its not like many men complained. She was an attractive woman after all, even if her green skin and tattoos did scare off a few more conventionally minded humans.

Humans. To be fully honest, she had no idea whatsoever why she liked them so damn much. Maybe it was that range of skin colors, or the accents. Or just that general aura. Of course it wasn't all humans. Of the four spread around the booth now, she was only interested in one. The others were basically kids in her eyes, and though Ervisa Therani was many things she wasn't a cradle robber.

((Main reason I didn't respond was because I didn't really have anything to respond to. Itani is loud, obnoxious, selfish; figured that last would have gotten something other than what it did. Either way skipping the post order is fine; I think responding to Moon was well worth the pause. ^_^ ))

The offer of a chair was a blessing but he remained standing. The smile didn't lax as he downed his first drink, upending the ice-free glass on the table in the middle of the others with a loud tap. Thanks! If you pardon me, I will be back after a quick refill. Enjoy the Jury juice, kid. I usually stay away from protein rich puree. Sidling over to the bar he flagged down the already burdened server droid to key in a few more strong drinks. Ironically, he liked his drinks to punch him in the face more than his chats. These folks were interesting, energetic; he could have lots of fun with them IF he could find a way to get them into a conversation.

Always hated that part; an extrovert like me shouldn't have a hard time getting close to people. Tell that to your marks. Quiet you, I'm lining up a few more sho-

All of a sudden someone burst through the pub door, slamming it to the side like someone in need of a drink. This is unusual how? It was a Twi'lek by the look of it and a looker to boot, one which Itani's eyes scanned quickly. He was about to go introduce himself when she shouted. “Pink!” He blinked confused momentarily as that was not what he expected someone in need of a drink to say. She looked upset, also something not unusual for a bar, but it seemed to stem from the color- “a damn pink ship.” Oh... Itani couldn't help but sa respectable man. He'd seen some interesting things floating but a pink ship... well that just wasn't in his observed repertoire. Saying nothing more and apparently with whatever anger she had out of her system she made a direct drive toward a table at the back of the room flagging down the droid as she went.

Yep she's a keeper. Jaw might be sore after, though. Itani shrugged, looking back down at the drinks that seemed to have magically appeared before him. Well what do you know, maybe I did have a reason for this second drink. Grinning he picked up both glasses one with a simple fire whiskey and the other with a neon pink liqueur of some kind and moved toward the table on the wall where the Twi'lek was seated. Not missing a beat he slid into the chair directly across from her and sat on drink before him and the other in front of the delightful young woman.

Nice entrance, that. My delicate sense of the female creature tells me that something is troubling you. He grinned, tipping back the drink in his hand for a long sip. Aah. Don't worry about drugs. I wouldn't waste my stocks on someone so lovely.

Smiling he continued to look at her, glancing back toward the body of the bar at the other group. The Mirialan had found a new toy and was well on her way to bedding him if the under-table language said anything to him. Chuckling he turned back to the young woman he had unknowingly bought the second drink for.

Drink up! He pointed at the glass, the pink liquid rippling over the loud noises in the bar. Quickly he glanced, looking over her again while lingering on in certain places. Pink really is your color, matches your headtails. I can see why you love it so much. He smirked, taking another drink. The sarcasm wasn't in his voice and he grinned; watching the young woman expertly and waiting to see what her reaction would be.

It seemed as if everyone was gravitating toward the Mirialan now, as yet more saber wielders were taking residence behind her. A Twi'lek entered the bar and seemed angry about a ship, to which Morwynn should have taken that as a hint of a possible job and pursued it with haste, but in her current state she was more interested in the newest addition to the table.

She was never much for Jeedais, but she did like a five-o'clock shadow and a gruff look. She could usually handle her whiskey but she'd been drinking for several hours now, and nothing of the 'weak' variety. She was in a bad decision kind of state when she decided to do something drastic as it was obvious the Mirialan was showing a similar interest.

She stood up on her chair and rose her glass up high. "A round on me!" she yelled to thunderous applause. She didn't have that kind of money, but she wasn't in the state of mind to really worry about it at the moment. She then walked over to the other table and slid a chair over. She sat down next to Kito and looked at him with a playful, yet seductive look in her eye, "Hey stranger...You look like you need to relax." She leaned in close, "What are you drinking handsome?" She asked in a seductive voice. She then giggled and gulped down the rest of her drink, swiftly ordering another.

She raised a hairless brow as the male approached, dropping a drink before her. It was a smallish concoction, and as he enjoyed his own beverage, she let her lids lower, into a half-glare at the glass. The liquid was a bright pink color, just a few shades off from the color that her father had ordered her ship painted.

It wasn't that she wasn't grateful to have a ship of her own, for a while now she'd been catching rides and buying tickets, anything to get out of the Inner areas of the galaxy. Her father was apparently more connected than she had thought, managing to keep track of her travels on top of running his small pirate armada. It was a gift, and she knew that she'd feel horrid if she'd ignored it. At the same time, there was no way on Hoth she'd let herself get caught piloting a pink ship. It was pretty nice though.

Looking back up at the male, then to the drink, she shook her head a little, her hand moving out to knock the drink over, letting it spill across the table as her own order arrived. Four vials of the potent Twi'lek Liquor that the bar had imported from Ryloth, all with Pala's name on it. Sighing, she waved at the seat across from her, indicating that the male might as well sit, before downing one of the Vials in a single gulp.

Once the Alcohol had entered her system, burning it's way to her stomach in a fiery trail, she felt confidant enough to return conversation to the gentleman before her, her brow still raised. Cute she muttered, shaking her head, Have you been waitin to use that one for a while? adding the question with less self-restraint than the male had practice, Sarcasm dripping from each word like drool from a Rancor's snout.

She was irritated still, but if there were any chance that she might find a few people to take over some of the duties on her ship, she HAD always wanted to be a captain.
