Name: Creemor-Lek
Race: Ongree
Age: 54
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 175 lb
Appearance:
Though, his skin is browner in hue, the picture is quite a strong representation. Though his gait isn’t as clumsy as the portrayed, being Ongreean, his movements are slightly different than other humanoids for obvious reasons. He is no less agile or dexterous as the average Jedi human.
He wears the traditional robes of the Master at all times, and owns no battle armor. When battle does come, he wears his robes, preferring to maintain appearances and agility.
Personality:
True to the perceptions of his race, Cree tends to look at things from all perspectives. He is a sociable, gregarious Ongree. He’s seen his fair share of conflict and peace to know what each is like and what each holds. He is a bit of a negotiator or mediator, as he revels and relishes the oppertunity to negotiate should the chance arise. He has a soft, though strong voice. Cree tends to look at things through as many perspectives as possible before reaching a conclusion, though primarily with larger dilemmas. On smaller instances, he tends to go with what his first impression may be. Though he is sociable and somewhat outgoing, he only invests trust in few. Among his biggest concerns with people is how far they can be trusted and what responsibilities that person should have or the decisions Cree makes on those people. He is a vicious fighter when he so chooses and is actually even more than likely to pursue a mission that isn’t diplomatic in nature due to his love of a challenge, though it never overrides his push for a peaceful solution.
Birth place: Coruscant
Faction: Jedi
Rank: High Council - Consular
Bio:
Fifty-six years ago, a young couple by the names Dlee-Lek and Vertol-Lek departed from their home planet of Skustrell after a better future on Coruscant, as what business they had was not doing well. Upon arrival to Coruscant, Dlee-Lek worked odd jobs for neighbors and friends, while Vertol-Lek would run a surprisingly effective and lucrative droid shop repairing and selling various droids. He had clean ties, all of his suppliers were legitimate businesses. Something he would imply upon his son, Creemor-Lek, who would be born two years after their arrival on the planet. The two would go on to have two more children Terlesa-Lek and Fendor-Lek, though Creemor would never have met either of them. The couple had strange love for the bustle of the city and made quite the names for themselves around the district they resided in. Their plans for a better living in a place they loved had come to fruition, and now they were ready to have a child.
Creemor-Lek was born a happy and healthy boy fifty-four years ago on the planet Coruscant. He was quite undistinguished from any other child at first, but soon the boy grew to be quite the tinkerer. At the age of 3 he was already meddling with simple droid electronics and circuitry. It was almost unnatural. That was, until a Jedi Watchman found him one day. He was told by the proud parents about his interest and surprising ability with the simple hardware, something that, coupled with what the Watchman felt in this child, led him to his next point. That he could tell he was quite Force-sensitive, and among the stronger he’d seen. He requested that the boy be taken to the Jedi Temple for training. Though Cree was their only child, they knew what a great opportuinty this stood for them. They let their boy go to make something of himself, as they had done for themselves.
Creemor felt so at home at the Jedi Temple, where their basic teachings flowed easily and naturally through him. He would soon make many friends and as he aged, would become more and more sociable and friendly to all different types of younglings. He seemed to enjoy their company, and to get to know them. He loved the friends he would make and would do anything for them, and many of his friends would do the same. They were young and happy. Those were among the best years of his life. He would lean towards the Force more than he would lightsaber combat over his tenure in the Temple. He would spend many hours of the day in the library, or talking with any Masters he could find.
Many of his talks with Masters yielded him with knowing more about the Force, but many also about the Masters themselves. He would talk with them about anything and everything, and would thoroughly enjoy whatever conversation he could get into, such was his personality, though later it would be understood that the Force was also a guiding factor. The years passed, and Creemor-Lek learned uneventfully at the Temple, his only distinguishing factor being how much time he tended to speak with whatever Master he could. There were some Masters who would find these talks odd of he boy, but none would ever deny him the chance have a conversation with them, unless they were entangled in some sort of other business at the time. None truely wished to turn the hopeful little youngling away, though there were times when they just weren't in the mood. Cree would almost always follow this up the next time he saw them, questioning what was going on at the time. He was quite empathetic of these Masters, and many grew to enjoy the time they spent with the little tyke.
This led to a sooner padawanship than he had expected, at the age of ten years old by a Jedi Consular Master known as Les Wenera, who had taken a keen interest in the boy’s aptitude and desire to learn of and about the Living Force.
Les was a 47 year old Sullustian when he accepted Cree, and it was well known that Les Wenera was one of the more hands-on of the Consulars, preferring adventure to diplomacy, despite his love of such things. He did so with the youthfulness and excitement of a young Knight and the wisdom of an older man. As such, would rarely be in the Temple, accepting any mission he could find, and actively seeking some. Les would explain to Cree that no matter what mission they would be sent on, it was never too small or unimportant. He taught that diplomacy was the always the first response, but should it fail, to fight, and fight hard. Surely, this was the lesson all Jedi were taught, but Les always had a vitality for it, a drive and possibly even passion for what it meant to be a Jedi. He taught Creemor to be an effective negotiator, and that decisions should be made by looking at all possible courses of action. To feel, meditate and think, but never be too slow to respond, as such things could possibly give way to apathy. Sometimes, to do nothing at all was the proper course of action, yet other times, it could have devastating consequences, hence, to search for the best response to any given situation was absolutely essential. Creemor’s personality and ideals resonated with Les’s teachings, and he would accept them readily and quickly. For these reasons among others, the two grew very close.
As per lightsaber combat training, Creemor was taught to use Soresu and Niman by Les, who himself, had mastered Soresu. Though Creemor loved Niman, Les wasn’t very skilled at the form and therefore could teach Cree only so far. Nor could Cree ever fully master Soresu, but proved to be quite adept with it. It wasn’t that either of them were detracted from lightsaber combat in any way, it was merely that both had such drives for knowing more about the Force and it’s Will for the Light side, that lightsaber combat was but another aspect to consider. Had neither of them had such a fascination and love about the Force, both surely would have delved into becoming Guardians, using their high potential in the Force to fuel the bodily aspect. However, such a thing was not the case. Whatever time they spent not on missions, would be spent in the library or in Creemor’s case, with others, as his love of communicating was insatiable.
What consumed the Creemor’s training was his tutelage in the Force. His interest in the Force knew no specifics, as he learned and studied hard for all the aspects, never preferring one to the other. That was, with the exception of telepathic. He was drawn to the sense and feel with the Force. To extend his awareness beyond what his multi-angular eyes could see. Perhaps it was out of this that he felt he wanted to see more, maybe it was the fact that he was drawn so close to the Force, but most likely it was a combination of the two. Regardless, he would meditate whenever the opportunity arose. In most cases, it was while he traveled. He would extend his presence into others as often as possible, though with much care. Les himself was much more gifted at healing than the other Force abilities. He would teach Creemor everything he knew, but Cree could only apply so much. In this Les's teaching was specialized, but all other areas were kept to the basics.
It was by happenstance that Les discovered Cree’s long-lost talent for droids, during a mission {to be explained}. It was after this discovery that Cree ceased his trips to the library to further his studies in the field. It soon became one of his hobbies that he would keep throughout his Jedi career. Through it, he would also begin to learn and adapt to other areas of the Force, and experimentation, though these abilities and practices wouldn’t be tested until he was into his Master years. These would be skills such as Ionize and Ray.
The following mission describes the discovery of Cree’s droid skills, and was also his Trial of Courage, and was six years into Cree’s training:
The Jedi pair had been assigned to locate a missing droid that carried important information concerning the fate of a business, if this information wasn’t recovered, the business would go under and multiple jobs would be lost. It would seem a simple mission until it was to be known that the droid had somehow been shipped to Raxis Prime. The two arrived on-planet and began scouring the location that the ship had touched down, luckily, the small utility droid could have only gotten so far due to the terrain and layout of scrap the ship had left the droid in. After some time, they found the droid, however, it was clear it had been tampered with. At some point on its stay either on the ship that had transported it or while on the planet, its insides had received a makeover, bomb included. What looked like a belt of thermal detonators had been attached to the panicking utility droid, and wires were running along the explosives. The reason was never discovered, but what had happened was that the man who had taken the droid was affiliated with the rival business, had heard that someone was to be sent looking for the droid and had attached the explosives in case it was found. The explosives, Cree discovered, were set to go off at a certain time (an hour) and had also been rigged cautiously with the droid that any who tampered with it would be hard-pressed not to set them off. It was by allowing the Force to flow through him and against his better judgment and the judgment of Master Wenera that Cree found a simple loophole in the saboteur’s rigging. His understanding of explosives, however, was much more limited, and was forced to remove them and propel them with telekinesis very far away, mere seconds before the explosives went off. The droid was safe, the business survived, and Cree’s courage recognized. Cree would continue to pursue his long lost passion thereafter.
The following mission explains Cree’s Trial of Flesh, Skill and his bonding with his Master:
It was eight years into Cree’s training, he was eighteen years of age and he and his Master were sent on a mission to confront a Crime Lord who was also suspected to be a Dark Jedi of Knight-caliber. Les had promised to teach Cree to construct a lightsaber after this mission, as he felt he wasn't quite ready up to this point. What they found on Farfin, was a trap that not even Master Wenera sensed. They were following a lead they had when both were led into an empty warehouse, and locked in. They could have escaped, had they had time amidst the streams of blaster fire. They were abruptly brought to surrender, however against the large numbers. It turned out that they weren’t under the Dark Jedi’s hire, and as it so happened Crime Lord Binix was no Crime Lord, rather a hired hand under one. They would never come to discover just who the Crime Lord was; rather, they had set much of the capture up as a message and warning to their enemies. All the Dark Jedi Binix was hired to do, was to kill them. They were promptly knocked out, Force collars strapped to their necks and thrown in a Force cage. The gunmen left, leaving Binix to his business. What they didn’t know was that the hired guns weren’t actually commissioned to assist Binix, rather, he had just convinced them en masse to assist in the Jedi’s capture. When the Jedi were knocked out, Binix told them they could go and explained to them that he had lied to them, as he would not be seeing them again. With the disgruntled warriors gone, and the two captured Jedi just snapping back into consciousness, Binix took Cree out of the cage. He proceeded to punch and abuse him, and set a few burns on him with his blazing red lightsaber. To top it off, he shocked him with Force Lightning and as he lay shaking, removed his Force collar, throwing the confiscated training saber to him. Cree used the Force to heal as much of his wounds as he could, though he was still thoroughly battered, and ignited his lightsaber. Not long into the fight between the two, it was evident that the Dark Jedi was an even match for a healthy Cree, but such was not the case. It took all that Cree had to battle the Dark Jedi, using every trick and power he could think to employ. The battle raged for half of an hour before Cree Force-pushed Binix away, and bolted for the Force cage that held his Master. Binix wasn’t fast enough to stop him. He had opened the cage with ease, as there was no code required, and removed his Master’s collar, just before Binix could strike. Though saberless, Les threw a heavy wave of Force energy into the assailant, hurling him back, then motioned for Cree’s training saber. Catching it, he fought Binix into the corner of the warehouse. Without armed support, and without any way out, he surrendered. Master Wenera took both the Dark Jedi’s lightsaber and his own, throwing the sheathed training saber and red lightsaber to Cree. Les gave Binix a long lecture about the Dark and Lightside, and left him to reconsider what he was doing with his life. It could be seen that Binix, though strong and well-trained in the Force, held fear. He was afraid when backed into that corner, of what, neither Cree nor Les knew (Binix had a troubled life from childhood of abuse and broken promises). It struck Master Wenera that this boy, as he was about Cree's age, should be shown some compassion. Les Wenera was a strong believer in redemption. He felt that there could be forgiveness in the galaxy and was willing to give this boy a chance. It was against his better judgement that he did not have him arrested. Les addressed their wounds and they left for the Temple. Cree was recognized again for his act of Skill and of Flesh.
The following is not a mission, actually, it is just his Trial of Spirit, which would take place in the Temple, but involved his missions:
It was known of Cree that his love of the adventure was somewhat misplaced. Perhaps it was that his Master took him on any he could find that he developed this belief, or that he himself could not pass up a challenge, however, no matter the reason, Creemor had slowly gotten into the understanding that it was missions that defined a Jedi, almost to the point of their worth. He began to lose sight of what the Jedi stood for, and their Code, he began to lose sight of the diplomacy and peace that they stood for. He grew arrogant and too curious. Curious about the Force so much, that he began to forgo its practicalities to utilize experimental and untrained Force abilities in the field. The field which he found he just could not let go of.
Nine years into his training, Cree was finally shocked out of this in a vision he had during a meditation. It involved his slow fall towards the dark side by arrogance and curiosity, which gave way to pride and lust for power. In his vision, wrought with these two emotions and states of mind, he saw a successful and powerful Creemor-Lek, one who could influence others with his dominion of his sense of the Force, he wasn’t much older than Cree was now, and it appeared that through his control, none felt the need to betray him. There was absolutely nothing that could stand in his way, by interpretation of the vision. He stayed in his state of meditation much longer than he realized, as some had gathered around to find him sweating profusely and his face strained, or as strained as an Ongree’s face could look. He snapped out of it after ten hours, to the looks of puzzled students and a few concerned Masters alike, specifically his own. Master Wenera and took him aside and asked what he had seen. Cree told him about it and what he intended to do about it. He resolved to abstain from every and any mission that he could be permitted to. This continued for the next three months, during which Cree split his time between actual lessons from his master, meditating, droid tinkering, and the library. At the end of this time, he felt refreshed and renewed. He earned a clear understanding through conversing again with others, and merely taking a break that missions and action were not of highest worth or priority to the Jedi, in actuality, they were things that a Jedi did because of what he stood for.
It was also during this time of abstinence from missions that Les would prepare Cree to construct his lightsaber. He was given the parts he needed, a room of seclusion, and the details that were required. He let the Force flow freely about him, allowing it to flow into the lightsaber as he made it in guidance with Les’s words. He put his whole being into the blade. The Force permeated the room, and the heart of Cree flooded the weapon he slowly pieced together with the Force. It was after two days of this meticulous construction that Cree prepared to ignite his blue lightsaber, only to find that a deep green erupted from the hilt. It was a pleasant surprise, indeed, but one he couldn’t help but love. It turned out to be a duel-phase, as his adaptive Niman would be most pleased with. With this, he went to face the judgment of the Council as to their decision on his promotion to Knighthood.
Following the Council’s decision to promote Cree to the rank of Knight, and the cutting of his Padawan braid, he immediately began his search for a padawan. He was thoroughly excited and wished to share what he’d learned in the training of a padawan. Though some Knights at the time were usually reluctant to have chosen a padawan so early, Cree found it to be a great opportunity, though he knew there were missions that he would be unable to accept with a padawan in tow, he was certain that was what he wanted. His search started for a padawan who was strong in the Force, one who had the same draw to the Force as he. The Force had other plans for him though, as one day while watching the youngling tournament, he felt suddenly drawn to a particular youngling. It was a young human boy who seemed to struggle ever so hard in his battle. He had potential, that much was certain, but he didn’t seem to know how to use it. He was a fiery one, too, he had a spunk for the blade rather than the Force. Against his own plans, Cree approached the boy and asked him if he would like to be his padawan. The boy was ecstatic. The next few years would be Cree’s new best, and the best for his new padawan Jemin Pretor.
Though it was clear Jemin aspired to become a Guardian, Cree couldn’t teach him as much on this as he’d desired. What he could teach, though, was what Jemin needed. To keep a clear focus and a clear mind. With that, the rest would flow naturally through the Force. He taught him the ability to sense, and to feel. Cree taught Jemin as much as he could learn about the Force and how to apply it to the proper situation, but also that diplomacy came first, always. What bonded them so was their passions. It wasn’t passion of the Dark side variety, rather a love and drive to make themselves better, to be the best they could be for the Jedi Order. Jemin grew to love the Order and the Jedi Code, as well as the Light side of the Force, it was strong with him in Cree’s training. Many would remark how effective Cree had been that they could always feel the Light inside the two. Their bond was undeniable, which was always furthered by the ever present missions the two would embark on, just as Cree’s Master had done for him.
It was evident, though, that Jemin was not as skilled in the Force as Cree was, and as such would need another to train him in the ways of the lightsaber. Cree found Jemin a master to teach him the lightsaber form that he most aspired for: Makashi. While Jemin was taking these lessons, Cree was off with the battle-master strengthening his ability with Niman. During these sessions, both Master and Padawan would grow to near mastery status in their respective forms, Jemin performing much better after having lessons on the clearing of his mind. It was tradition for them to meet after these lessons, sweaty and beat, and spar with each other over a conversation. These conversations varied each time, but generally kept to the discussions of life and hypothetical dilemmas of the Light and Dark sides of the Force. They would present each other with situations to discuss what they would and should do in a tight spot. They would also comfort and embolden each other when they needed it. This would be followed by meditation. They had a strong system in place and their bond would not be shaken, it was their bond that kept them so close to the Light, so accountable for one another, even though it was often Jemin that needed the bond and the Light side more than ever.
Though they would work through it, Jemin had a secret he shared only with his Master. He struggled with accomplishments, as he had a sort of mental block that caused him to look down on himself during most activities. It never came when he was under pressure, but it nonetheless effected his outlook on himself. He would occasionally mentally beat himself up about it, and just wish to himself he was strong enough to handle it. As their training progressed, these feelings would get weaker and weaker, but still remained. It would soon be discovered that these feelings were much worse than anticipated.
While on mission the Dark Jedi Binix, now much more matured and stronger, saw the two and realized that it was the same Ongreean that he'd seen many years ago. He had not changed. By a few favors and odd jobs, Binix managed to peice together a way to capture Master Wenera and hold him prisoner. Binix would construct two red lightsabers while he'd bided his time, one as nice as he could with his limited resources, and a ramshackle beaten one for another purpose, as he no longer had any after his encounter with Cree and his Master. Binix's plan was set into motion by a slow, subtle influence by a scrambled com-link he'd placed in the padawan's robe pocket when he saw them on-mission on Felucia. Before remarking about this to his Master, Jemin asked who it was on the other end, and was immediatly hooked by the wiles of the Dark Jedi on the other end. Binix began to communicate with Jemin while he was alone at the Temple and Binix's voice soon became associated with freedom and an outlet for Jemin to vent his problems and doubts. It was also on this device that Binix plotted the betrayal of Creemor.
It happened ten years into Jemin’s training. They had been sent on a mission to locate a missing Jedi on the planet Farfin. There wasn’t too much alarm, as they’d been told by those close to the missing Jedi that they could still feel him in the Force, that he hadn’t died. The Jedi did not tell Cree who the missing Jedi was for fear that it may make things too personal, reluctant as they were to send them in the first place, but the thought that when Cree did find his Master, the two would be an effective team to escape. There was no need to send a large group of Jedi to arouse suspicion, however, and Jemin had moved along quite well in his studies that he and Cree accepted the mission. After arriving on planet, they searched with the Force to locate the lost Jedi, whom they found with some strain, as his presence was weak, and familiar. They located him in the self-same warehouse where Cree had once dueled … Binix!
It was at that time that Binix released his presence that it could be felt. His hidden presence was easier to maintain with the Jedi’s desperation at being contained in a Force cage similar to the last one, and similar restraints, including Force collar. Binix used his element of surprise to propel Jemin into a wall, knocking him unconscious. Cree leapt quickly into battle with the clearly improved Dark Jedi. The battle was a close one, as Cree’s use of Niman and the Force was equally matched against Binix’s use of Ataru. It was when they disengaged that Cree was caught off guard, as a spew of lightning arched forth, not at Cree, but at his unconscious padawan. Thousands of thoughts rushed through Cree’s mind about being careless and reckless and worried about his padawan just as the bolts struck, awakening Jemin who began to scream with pain. Cree rushed to stop Binix, who ceased his attack and threw a Force push at Cree, setting him off just long enough for Binix to explain something to him.
“Ah, why do you worry for the boy? He has already betrayed you in his mind.” This was enough to stop Cree in his tracks.
“What are you talking about?” He was absolutely confused, as a claim so ridiculous could not possibly be true,”Jemin is my padawan, he would never have done such a thing.
“Ah, you place too much trust on the boy’s heart and actions, what you’ve missed is what lies in his mind. He’s had deeper problems he’s worried on, much deeper than you have ever guessed, or would care to know.” Binix replied with a sinister smile.
“That is ludicrous, there is no way –” Cree stopped, his multi-perspective mind whirring and thinking. The fact remained that Jemin did look down upon himself, but Cree had seen improvements himself. Though Binix could be right, he could have manipulated Jemin’s feelings about himself to his own end, he could potentially have intended Jemin to betray him, but..”How?”
“It was simple. Once your Master gave his ludicrous speech, I resolved then and there right the wrongs committed to me that day. So I found your Master” – it was then that Cree recognized the man in the Force cage as his old Master Wenera – “And lured you here, to take what you love most. You will witness your padawan take the life of your Master, and then take your own.” He finished with a sinister laugh, and lunged at Cree, battling him off as his padawan walked to the Force cage where his clearly crippled and Force-collared Master lay and proceed to open it. Cree watched with his quick angled-eyes as Jemin ignited a red lightsaber (given by Binix), and raised it above his head. He tried to Force push, pull or anything he could to stop Jemin, but Binix continued to find a way to stop his efforts. With a quick blow, it was over. Strange feelings could be felt arising in Jemin, feelings of anger and sorrow, feeling of passion and accomplishment. They swirled about him as if a dam had broken loose. Binix disengaged from Cree, who proceeded to fall to his knees, weak with emotional exhaustion. He could not believe it.
“Why Jemin? Why? Have I not been a good master to you? Is that what this is?” Cree pled.
Jemin didn’t respond, tears welled in his eyes.
“I can speak for the boy when I say that you did not understand his need to be stronger, his need to grow even more powerful that he could feel accomplished. You never gave him accomplishment. I have. I have given him a master to defeat. You have given him missions and meditation. That is nothing to what the Dark side has offered him.” Binix said, “but today is your lucky day. I have found it to be much more appealing to leave you here, alone. Your padawan is my apprentice now, and that is the worst pain I can think to put you in. To leave you like you left me those years ago. Goodbye Jedi.”
Cree couldn’t respond as the two left the warehouse, his world was shaken to the core.
He returned to the Temple broken, and gave a report on what had happened. The Council saw that he was not to blame and that if he so desired, they were prepared to promote him to Master for having handled such a situation as best he could. He politely declined.
Binix was captured a year later, and imprisoned, Cree was not infomred. Jemin was never found thereafter.
He spent the next two years away from whoever he could, his sense of trust shaken to the core, and did a lot of meditating, a lot of his droid hobby, and a lot of the experimentation with the Force he had once done. He also felt a need to protect those he loved. He began to seek out Consulars with the ability in Force protection. He would develop in all these areas, and rethink his philosophy. After those two years, he resolved not to let this ruin what life he once had, and returned to the Council to accept their offer of Master-ship.
The first 6 years of Cree’s Mastership were spent divided evenly between self-training and meditations, which he never lost his fondness for, and social endeavors. He would continue to experiment in droids once more and their energies, practicing again with Ionize, also known as stun and disable droid. He would seek out other Masters to discuss this ability with and attempt to perfect it. With this quest in the manipulation of energy, he would experiment and attempt to refine the Force power known only as “ray.” It was a skill in which he would harness up small amounts of matter into energy into his hand capable of blocking blaster bolts and, Cree decided in theory, lightsabers. As he grew more comfortable with his tests with ray, he would have someone attempt to attack him with a practice lightsaber, while he would block with ray. On more than a few occasions he suffered burns, but over 95% of the time, he discovered he could activate it quickly enough to block. The only problem was the amount of energy it exerted to perform made it an absolute last resort over all other options. It also sparked his interest in unarmed combat. He already knew Broken Gate, but decided he’d seek out more. It was good to maintain a well-rounded combat, as his love of Niman proved. A typical day for him could be explained as such: Wake up, meditate, breakfast, Niman practice, general sparring, lunch, martial arts, Force practice and experimentation, socialize, dinner, archives, and then a grab bag of any of these, which usually turned to more socializing.
The martial arts that Cree pursued was taught by a fellow Master, and trained in a blend of various unarmed combat. He found he had an odd love for it, as it allowed him to flow and move with the Force in a new way than with a lightsaber or other raw Force abilities did. It was as if he could meditate into the motions, freeing himself. He gave this training his best efforts over the next six years and continued to dive into it intermittently thereafter.
His lightsaber sparring and practices went well considering that they weren’t his primary focus. He continued to flourish in the Niman form, practicing and refining as much of it as he could, developing it into a more Force-attuned combat style. The fact that it was a form with no primary strength or weakness was among the largest reasons Cree found it so amazing. He was an adaptive style, a style that, with the Force, and his race-unique eyes, could move and fight in a variety of ways and styles. He could also use it to fight multiple enemies at once, though it wasn’t something he would have liked to do, due to his degree of skill with the style. It was during his sparring sessions that he would keep his Soresu sharp and practice a backhanded grip with Niman. Though it was normally a sub-form used in conjunction with Shien, being that he practiced with a versatile Niman and a duel-phase ‘saber, he managed to develop a functionality of switching the two. These sparring sessions kept Cree sharp and almost able to maintain a good defense while sparring Guardians, as long as he kept a healthy dose of telekinesis blended into his sometimes alternating Niman and Soresu.
When Cree trained his Force abilities, it was usually for the most practical things he could find. His ability with droids lent to some of his practices, such as ray and ionize. He would also take lessons with other Master willing to commune about Force practices, and through them learned the ability to use Force Blinding, which, through experimentation in his Niman sparring, proved to be an amazingly useful ability. It was also during this time that he would practice his telekinesis, keeping it sharp through exercises. He kept his Force sense strong through his constant meditations and continued constructing droids as a hobby, growing deeper in his understanding of them. He also continued his practices and lessons in Force protection, though not too far, stopping 4 years after being promoted to Master and only picking back up on the lessons intermittently thereafter.
What sparked the greatest change in Creemor-Lek, however, was his return to the social world. Now that he was a Master, he could discuss things with other Masters on a higher level of understanding. He would extend his senses to them while talking and begin to develop a strength in Force Empathy. It certainly wasn’t something he’d developed overnight, however over time, though his affinity with telepathy, empathy and heart for others, it began to grow and become Cree’s more distinguished quality. He could listen for hours to the plights of others and never tire what they had to say and always had a response for them, as he thought in multiple perspectives. He could almost always give them many options, all of which would have clear cut consequences for the person to look into. He began to draw close to many people, whoever would talk with him, but never too close. He still refused to elicit trust upon anyone who didn’t first earn it, whatever they did earn, was in some form of amount in Cree’s mind. It wasn’t that many actively sought Cree out, however, it was through Cree’s increasing Force Empathy that he would choose to approach them.
Cree didn’t accept as many missions as he once did over the course of those 6 years, but when he did, he would try at least one of his newly trained abilities in the field, especially Force Empathy during diplomatic endeavors. He walked a fine line as he received many a chance to manipulate those he extended his Empathy upon. It wasn’t so much that he worried about falling into the threats his vision hinted, but that he just found that as a Master he could take more time to relax.
At the end of this six year furthering of himself, he decided one day in a routine meditation that he would take on another padawan. He went before the Council and requested one to their complete surprise. They introduced him to a youngling they had discovered to have great potential in the Force by the name of Hain Yomorick, a young 12 year old human. Cree accepted.
Through their relationship, Cree would work out his trust issues, slowly growing to trust the boy, but he let him know about his trust system and how he had to earn it, something he normally would let others do without knowing. Beyond Cree’s excess wariness of Hain, the two got along splendidly, though weren’t as close as Cree had been to Jemin, they were great friends. It worked out very well that Hain aspired to become a Consular, and was also a very quick learner of both Niman and Soresu, though he preferred to heal over telekinesis. Cree would bring him to Masters who could teach Hain better than he could in the field of healing. The two also reignited Creemor’s enjoyment in missions, however, Cree elected to divide Hain’s training to both in and out of Temple exercises. Meditation remained a key point in Cree’s training, that a clear mind was essential for Jedi life. Whenever the two didn’t train, Cree would be keeping his abilities sharp and focused in his own regimen, his hobby of droids all but lost in this period of time.
There was nothing particularly unique about Hain’s training and progression that dealt with Cree, most of the improvements were focused on Hain and his development as a padawan. The only major shift in Cree’s life was slowly returning sense of trust. He never lost his system, but as for his original trust system, it remained unchanged. He relearned what it was to be proud of a student, of a friend. He experienced joy with Hain as he would accomplish his trials and learn something about himself with each. Soon the day came when it seemed Hain had grown up too fast, and Creemor began to feel his age. The day came that Hain Yomorick was to be knighted. It was after the Knighting of Hain that Creemor was asked to stay back for a moment. The Council explained to Creemor-Lek the amount of progress they’d seen in him and the things he’d been through. They had convened and found that they wished him to be on the Jedi High Council for his insight and ability to weather the deepest of blows. At 50 years of age, Creemor-Lek accepted their offer.
Creemor kept his excitement to a respectable low, and bowed to the Council. He took his place among them, and over the next four years, continued his routine life, taking whatever missions were deemed necessary of his particular abilities and aligning to the duties and responsibilities given unto him. Now, in a time when war is heavy upon the hearts of the galaxy, it was the true test of the Jedi, now was when the future would be forged.

Creemor sat across from the man he was preparing to spar with. He was a young master, no more than his late thirties, with a bushy beard and bald head, and a smile that warmed Cree up without fail. His name was Bemen Obial, and he was quite the swordsman. They had been discussing the war and various other news, nothing too heated though, as it was a casual pre-spar talk.
Gah, these rumors of Sith are obviously hogwash, Cree, ain’t nothin’ to ‘em.
I don’t know about that Bem, the Force is becoming increasingly cloudy, there’s no way to tell for sure. Best we can do is prepare for the worst, and if worst doesn’t come to pass, then who knows? At least we all stayed sharp.
He took a sip of his water.
Beh, that’s yer problem Cree, so cautious, but, eh, you could darn well be right... Well… this ‘saber’s ain’t gonna battle themselves.
With that they stood, clearing out what light snacks and water they’d been eating and drinking. Bem was one of the few that Cree trusted most. Most of the Council, if not all, he trusted quite so. There were a few Masters and even a few Knights that he also trusted as much, but they were far and in-between. Bemen was a master of Makashi, something Cree would have to watch out for. Bem gave the traditional salute, and Cree assumed the Niman stance with his blade held parallel to his head, both his hands angled slightly inwards and his right foot forward, then beckoned Bem attack with a smile.
Come on.

Bio:
Humble Origins
Pre-birth to Age 3
Temple Training and Youngling Years
Ages 3-10
The Days of a Padawan
Ages 10 to 21
Les was a 47 year old Sullustian when he accepted Cree, and it was well known that Les Wenera was one of the more hands-on of the Consulars, preferring adventure to diplomacy, despite his love of such things.
Missions
(Of the Padawan Years)
The following mission describes the discovery of Cree’s droid skills, and was also his Trial of Courage, and was six years into Cree’s training:
Knighthood
Ages 21 to 34
{Apologies in advance for the Dialogue, too much would be lost without it, I think.}Following the Council’s decision to promote Cree to the rank of Knight, and the cutting of his Padawan braid, he immediately began his search for a padawan.
Master
Ages 34 to 50
The first 6 years of Cree’s Mastership were spent divided evenly between self-training and meditations, which he never lost his fondness for, and social endeavors.

Come on.
