During his childhood, he created and sold what he could make with the things he scavenged around Tatooine. At age 18, he got a job from a sullistan shipwright named Teno Dolin who supplied him with a ship and parts to deliver weapons, armor, and food around the galaxy.One day, at age 31, he came back from delivering food to Coruscant and Teno's shop at been raided by tusken raiders. Teno was killed in the raid. Niben then went to coruscant and sold his spare parts and the supplies he got from the shop. He now lives in an apartment on Coruscant as a shipwright.
